I say it twice, cuz we had a final show in Montreal last month, but we figure what's good enough for Phil Collins is good enough for EyeInside.

So we hope to see you amid the madness that is expected at la Cheminée. Locals WYNOT will warm y'all up like a thick blankey on a cold winter's night. Then we'll yank it from you and make you work to get it back for the next couple of hours, but by the end you'll be spent and sweating and won't need it anymore.
And that's a promise.

EyeInside going on hiatus - Final 2 shows coming up

Hello everyone,

We wanted invite all our friends down to join us in celebrating and to take advantage of the last chance you'll have of seeing EyeInside LIVE!

Indeed, EyeInside will be going on an indefinite hiatus. It's been a long and tumultuous journey full of highs and lows, and new circumstances have forced EyeInside to hang up their proverbial skates. This may very well be the last time Dan, Seb and Eric play live together, so make sure you get yourself and all your friends down at the shows!

The 2 dates are set for:

Thursday, February 22nd 2007 at 9:30pm, at the famed Pub St-Paul (one of Montreal's best-known venues) and
Saturday, March 24th 2007 at 10:00pm, in Edmundston's La Cheminée in New Brunswick.
Krown, who has opened for the band at Clyde's last spring, will open the Pub St-Paul show.

Make sure you don't miss your last chance to see EyeInside live; come say goodbye with us and rock out EI-style!

Shows cancelled (UPDATED NOV 17TH)

UPDATE: We have the unfortunate news of reporting that we've also had to cancel Nov 24th's show at the Playhouse due to unforseen events. We hope to make all this up to you in the new year.

EyeInside has the unfortunate duty to inform you all that we have had to cancel two of our upcoming concerts:

Clyde's (october 7th)
Syndrome (october 8th)

Due to an injury, our drummer Eric will not be able to perform. We wish him a speedy recovery, so that we can all go and make it up to you rabid fans that were hoping for great shows from EyeInside!

'Torn' featured in XV's Sled Heads 2

EyeInside receives honors

After a great show at Café Altima on friday night, EyeInside was at a photo shoot on saturday morning. During this shooting, Eric, our drummer, broke his heel, and is therefore unable to perform. EyeInside was unable to be at Clyde's for Mohawk-Radio.com's 1st anniversary bash... well not entirely.

Sebastien, our bass player, showed up late in the evening at Clyde's to show that EyeInside is obviously there in spirit with Mohawk-Radio. During the evening, the MHR staff presented EyeInside with a specially-tailored banner as a thank you for their support through their first year! This was without doubt a great honor for us, and we wish to thank Mohawk-Radio.com, our friends Bling, Darragh, Dan, Java, Hiio, and the rest of their wonderfull staff for support EyeInside as much as they do. You guys rock - and though we could not perform for you this saturday night, we will make sure to give back to you all the efforts you've put in for us!

Thanks once again for everything you've done!

Special announcement

EyeInside has the unfortunate task of informing its fans that guitarist Waleed Faza is no longer a member of the band. Citing personal reasons, Waleed parts ways with EyeInside on very amicable terms. The entire EyeInside group wishes him the best in all his future endeavours.

For the moment, the band members have not ruled out the possibility of filling the guitarist's spot with someone else, however at this time no plans have been made in regards to this. We will keep you informed of the situation.

In the meantime, EyeInside will remain active and continues to promote its shows and write its upcoming second release. We hope that you will continue to supoprt them as you have so diligently in the past!

A Very Special Canada Day for Zachary

EyeInside's Canada Day performance at Clint's Grill was very successful, and definitely did not go unnoticed.

During the acoustic concert, EyeInside couldn't help but notice one 5-year-old Zachary, dancing and strumming his air guitar to the music. He made our night very special, so we managed to get him a copy of "Come To Me..." signed by all 4 bandmates. Zachary stayed with his family until wee hours of morning, just listening so passionately... so in honour of his dedication, we wanted to present him to all you fans.

We can only hope that every fan we have and make will show the same passion for music as Zachary did!

EyeInside Wins 2nd place in Battle of The Bands

Well, the results are in, and the votes are tallied...

EyeInside won second place out of 24 competing in the 2006 Battle of the Bands competition at St-Jérôme's Café d'En Face!

EyeInside were the happy recipients of a prize of 1000$ worth in music gear and 2 booked concerts at the Café d'En Face! (Which means, for all of you who have supported us and to those who missed us over there, that we will be back in St-Jérôme during the fall!!)

Congratulations to Algarad, the winners of the competition, and a huge thanks to all who participated in the event, especially all the EyeInsiders who came out to support us! Also, a huge thanks to J-C, Benoit, Martin, and the whole staff at Café d'en Face for making this a memorable occasion for EI and for having given us the opportunity!

Band moves on to Battle finals next week

THIS JUST IN: EyeInside was at it again last night (June 8th) at the Café d'En Face Battle Of The Bands 2006 Semi-finals, and blew away the competition!

This qualifies the band for an opportunity to compete in the Final Showdown at the Café d'En Face, which is going to be next Thursday, June 15th 2006 at 10pm. EyeInside will need all the fan votes and support they can get, so call your babysitter, cancel your romantic dinner, and set your vcr to record your favorite show, because as many newly found fans from last night's show will attest, EyeInside blew the roof off the place, and we'll do it again next week -- and you all need to be there to witness it!

Meanwhile, don't forget: the boys will be playing a special Acoustic performance at Maz Bar tonight, Friday, June 9th 2006 at 10pm. This is a show being put together by our great friends from Mohawk-Radio.com, so do yourself a favor and come to the show! Admission is only 3$, and we promise you much more than your money's worth!

As advertised over Mohawk-Radio.com and through our EyeInsight mailing list, EyeInside was in St-Jérôme at Le Café d'En Face last night to participate in the 2006 Battle Of The Bands.

The bands all did their best, and despite a huge fan support for previous bands, EyeInside came out on top! We will have more to show you from this performance soon, so please stay tuned and keep visiting the site for updates on the next performance at the 1/4 finals of the 2006 Battle Of The Bands!

Battle of the Bands -- EyeInside Wins Round 2!!

Another win for EyeInside at the Café d'en Face Battle of the Bands 2006! Moving one step closer to the finals, the next round will be June 8 in St-Jérome - the night before our show at MAZ bar.

We'd like to thank the judges for the highest scores of the night, and the wonderful positive comments after our performance, as well as the other bands for putting up quite the competition!!

Next stop for EyeInside is our showcase at MNB Week, and a special acoustic performance at Dekadan, all happening next week (see below, for all the details).

EyeInside Announces Showcase at Music New Brunswick Week – May 19th, 2006

a Special Live Acoustic Performance at Dekadan in Edmundston, NB – May20th, 2006

EyeInside will be showcasing at Music New Brunswick Week at the Sennheiser Stage on Friday May 19th, at 21:45, not to be missed!! Followed by a special live acoustic performance to be held Saturday May 20th at Dekadan (192,rue Victoria Street in Edmundston, NB) Show starts at 22:00 - $4.00 cover charge - Free with MNB pass.
Free Passes - All Press and Media representatives are invited to contact us.

The following night, EyeInside will be performing acoustic versions of their original songs as well as a variety of popular rock songs for a Special Live Acoustic Performance. This will be the first time front man Daniel Berube offers his hometown fans a chance to experience the band in a different, more intimate setting. Don't be fooled by the acoustic guitars though, this is still a rock band!!!

24 bands will be competing for a chance to win 4000$ of recording time at SM1 Studios, two guaranteed concert dates at Cafe d'En Face, and an appearance in a local paper! Tickets are only 5$ (see us or the bar to get some), so be sure to come to the shows every thursday, but especially Thursday April 6th, when EyeInside will need your support! Dan Gets Chastized on Mohawk-Radio.com!!!!

Ok, a little back story here.

Ever since EyeInside was added to Mohawk-Radio.com's playlist, I've been hearing from friends and the other guys in the band that they'd heard Don't Bother or Give In sandwiched between Metallica and Disturbed and all kinds of other cool bands -I absolutely love the stuff they play- and I had yet to catch any EI song, so I broke the cardinal rule: I emailed the guys at Mohawk-Radio.com to request some EyeInside.

Now I know better than to do that.

Consider me a reformed man.

A few days went by after my email; Hiio had written back saying EI is in regular rotation, sorry you missed it, give us a call and we'll play it live for you. Which I didn't do. My subconscious must have known it was shameful.

What you are about to hear happened on Tuesday October 25th, at 8:30am. I was listening while having breakfast, and Hiio mentions they got a request for EyeInside from the night before (courtesy of a fan perusing our website, I imagine, cause this time it wasn't me, I swear!!!!). I figured this was a good time to call them up, so I called Hiio to thank them for the support, and mention that the new website was up, shoot the shit, we hang up, everything is cool, and this is what I get!!! Java lets me have it!! LOL

Thanks for sticking up for me Hiio!!!

Hello EyeInsiders!

Just wanted to touch base with you, since we haven't "blogged" in a while... Hopefully, you've visited the site, heard the music, bought a t-shirt and a CD (shameless plug), and you've seen the new stuff in here. Our new Media page is gonna be a "repository" of sorts for everything media-related: music, videos, pics, all those goodies. We sure hope you like the stuff in here!

Speaking of videos, check out the video from La Foire Brayonne -- it's this huge festival down in New Brunswick, Canada, where EyeInside played in 2003; very cool stuff!

We in EyeInside have been extremely blessed with amazing fans who spread the word about EyeInside as often as they can, sharing the music with friends, family, famous rockstars...wait a minute, famous what-now? That's right! How about the one and only Ted Nugent?!?! Our dear friend Simon sent us pictures of himself and Ted at our other buddy Chris Dyer's sporting camp in northwest New Brunswick (Simon's the one with the EyeInside shirt) Here it is in Simon's own words:

"... just wanted to say hi, and hope to see you around Grand Falls again. I introduced you to a friend of mine who owns a sporting camp his name is Chris Dyer you might not remember, anyway he happened to have the one and only Ted Nugent at his camp. Chris is a fan of yours too so he made Ted listen to your CD while they drove around and he liked it. just thought that was neat and wanted you to know that. anyway keep rockin you guys are great!"

Seems like EyeInside's presence on Garageband.com has not gone unnoticed: "Torn", EyeInside's second track on their first release "Come To Me..." is now nominated as Garageband's Track Of The Day for February 3rd 2006!

Torn is currently ranking at #21 in the Alternative Metal category... make sure you visit the site and vote for the song! Simply click on the "play" button next to the song title, then listen to the complete track and click on the number of stars! It's that simple!
