Just tried to log into Xbox Live only to be told i have been temporary suspended and just found out it's due to what's written in my bio

After reporting 3 faults on my line over a 3 week period via online and there twitter account which first started with a noisy phone line which made my phone unusable most of the time which then in turn effected my broadband and after being told the fault had been fixed a few days later my phone and broadband stopped working totally for a period of 3 days

feeling this was unacceptable I phone BT to ask for a discount on my line rental and was told all I would be entitled to was £5 off the next bill which after a chat I told them in plan English “are you taken the ….”, and was upped to £8

Well to be offered £8 off my line rental to me is still “taking the ….” as this doesn't even cover the cost of having to use my mobile over the period of time my phone line was ever playing up or totally down plus you made my broadband unusable with constant disconnects due to the noise on the line and then for that to go down as my phone line finally gave up the ghost

I was told over the phone could I send in my mobile phone bill but as i'm on pay as you go I can't as I don't get a bill each month plus something which made my blood boil was the person I spoke to tried to sell me broadband at the time so had to tell her in a few short words that i'm phoning you to complain not to buy anything which didn't help my language but sometimes it's the only way to put your point across when a person comes out with something so stupid and wants to up there commission for the week

Update

Was about to write this message the other day but have got to update it due to my phone line going down again with noise on the line and after a openreach engineer turning up at my door I was told they would have to disconnect the line to try and find the fault so my phone line was down most of the day

I can only hope that after reporting a fault 4 times that they have finally fixed the problem this time but to offer me a discount of just £8 for the inconvenience it's somewhat taking the …..

Update

After sending them this message they upped the offer to £10, i had to say do i sound like a mug and after all these years being with BT it's time to change to a different home phone provider

After buying a Linksys WUSB100 dongle the other week and finding out it only does 150mbps plus the range isn't that good even when using 802.11n i wasn't to happy so didn't want to waste any more money on a wifi dongle but after having a good look around i came across the TP-Link TL-WN821NC which at £13 seemed a little cheap for a dongle but i took the risk and i'm so glad i did as it works so much better than the Linksys WUSB100 plus it's half the price

Melting Moments

2½ oz Lard
1½ oz Margarine
5 oz S/R Flour
3 oz Castor Sugar
Small Egg
Vanilla essence
Porridge oats

Cream fats and sugar until light and fluffy,
beat in the egg and add a few drops of vanilla essence then add the flour and give it a good mix
roll into small balls (golf ball size) and coat with porridge oats

Bake on a greased, floured baking tray press out slightly with your hand and allow room to spread

Cook at 190c Gas mark 5 for 15 to 20 mins

I've lived in London all my life but i still get lost finding my way around especially when i use the may different methods of transport which are at my disposal so i've been after a app for my iPod Touch for along while and after using a few which take you on some very odd routes to get you to your destination i came across London Transport By Jeevan Takhar on the Apple App Store for the price of 59p and have to say it's like having a little old lady in your pocket, you know the type of person who you stop by the side of the road when your lost and she knows the easiest route to where you want to go and you wish you could put her in your pocket well now you can and have her on your iPod or iPhone 24 hours a day

Great thing about this app is you can pick which methods of transport you want to use to get from A to Z from Tram, Tube, Train, Bus, Water Bus even Walk and pick them all or just the ones you want to use plus it come with a handy option where it will keep a record of how much money you have left on your Oyster Card so you will never get on a bus and have the bus driver give you a funny look when the Oyster Card Reader makes a funny noise

So for 59p it's a bargain

Under the hood they both look good with great features and more options than you could ever need so what one should you go for £2.99 for ooTunes or 59p for Tunein Radio ?

Well if you read most of the reviews it looks like even with it's higher price ooTunes is the one to go for but after using both you come to realize that oo is a complete mess, yes it has a few more tricks up it's sleeve but if you can ever workout how to use them or even find them within the menus you must be a rocket scientist as it's like looking for a sock after a fight at a jumble sale, also it can record radio shows via the timer but some thing which i find odd is that you can set a start time but there's no stop time ?

As for Tunein Radio it's a joy to use with it's clean interface and menus where everything is at hand which feels like you put them there yourself plus when setting timers if gives you the option of when you want it to start and stop something sadly missing from oo

So what one should you buy, well it's a easy one Tunein Radio and even if the prices were swapped round i would be happy to pay £2.99 for Tunein but lucky for us it's only 59p "bargain"

Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver

Hello all i just got my hands on a Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver

I got one as i got fed up with having to use a lead from my amp if i wanted to play music or podcasts form my iPod Touch so as it was only about £17 i splashed the cash

It comes with two sets of leads to connect to your amp 3.5mm to RCA and a 35mm to 3.5 cable plus the power adapter which only took about a min to setup with my amp and iPod Touch plus as i have a bluetooth dongle for my PC i hocked that up as well

Have to say it's a really good device but don't expect great sound quality as it sounds like someone nicked the top and bottom end of my music plus the range is limited to the room your in but for what i wanted i'm happy and would recommend for the money

Got this game the other day and it's good fun but have a feeling it's going to get boring very quickly as online it's just the same old thing follow the road as a cop or racer and get to the finish line or as a cop trying to stop them "thats it"

What this game could have been if they had only updated Most Wanted which is one of my fav racers and put you in the hands of ever the racer or cop in a open world to have some fun not just a single road to follow which is a shame

So how this game has been given so many high scores in reviews i will never no as i many trade it in to get a copy of Most Wanted for my xbox and have some fun with the cops

Only thing i'm not happy about it looks like it's ripped up the cover but the chairs needed new ones so not worried

Just seen that with the new BBC iPlayer Beta you can recommended programmes you like to your Twitter followers which is a nice little add-on

Thing you need to do is setup a BBC iPlayer account which like most sites is just a case of making up a user name and password and your set to go and any programme you like you just click Favourite and it will post a link to your Twitter page

It's always fun being a palace fan as we are ever up near the top or right down the bottom each season so it's heaven or hell when the last few games are played

well this season has been pretty bad as at one point we were fighting for a play-off place at the top only for the club to be deducted 10 points due to us going into administration so we went right down the bottom

so with 90 mins left to save the club from the drop i sat and watched the palace on tv on sunday in which we only needed a draw or win to stay up but like any other year we never do it the easy way

But thank god in the end we got the draw so stayed up
