I’m not sure how I achieved such perfection, but I think it is safe to say that if there were a reality competition like Project Runway for hair stylists, which I think there is, and within that competition there was another competition for the models whose hair is styled called Models of the Hairport and the challenge was to create a bathroom-couture Flock of Seagulls design with maximum height and softness, I would probably finish in the top three and possibly win the whole thing, if my hair and personality remained agreeable.

But, that does not mean I should stop pursuing my dreams. Mary Lou Retton once said, “Each of us has a fire in our hearts for something. It’s our goal in life to find it and to keep it lit.” For Mary Lou, that fire was for gymnastics and Ronald Reagan. For me, it’s gymnastics and gymnastics. As a former child/gymnast, I’m naturally consumed by the sport. Do I still have nightmares about the time I attempted a front somersault off the horse and my spotter’s watch almost took my eye out? I’d be lying if I said no. Has that stopped me from looking for a coaching job? Yes, it scarred me for life.

When it comes to the NBA draft, there are so many questions but so few answers. Who will be drafted after the mulatto guy from Oklahoma? What time does it start? Tonight this year’s top basketball prospects will learn where they will begin their professional careers, and nothing could be more exciting. As a player, you never know what the man upstairs, David Stern, has in store. That’s especially true for the top lowest ranked centers. These brave men share a special bond: they know if they’re chosen they’ll have to appear at a press conference next to the team’s shortest executive and never play. As a fan, I find this as dehumanizing as having to root for them in any capacity.

Throughout the world, blue water is used to indicate that a toilet is fresh and ready for use. Blue water means that complex properties have been scrubbing away at the bowl, automatically, and that you are about to encounter an evergreen scent. Does bacteria even stand a chance? No, it does not. That is because blue water has everything you would ever want in a cleaning agent: enzymes, check.. shaped like a hockey puck when in solid form, check. It also turns green when it comes in contact with urine, so that is useful as well.
