I think I've seen it all. After doing some browsing for Valentine's Day gift ideas, I found this love letter...on a cookie. Cute and weird at the same time. Pretty sure if I gave this to my hubby he would just want to eat the treat, and wouldn't even notice it was adorned with a love note!

There's something about the month of January that always makes me want to go on a cruise. Maybe it's all of the resort collections that are being released, or the flyer's for amazing cruises I keep getting, or just the dreary cold weather. Whatever the reason, I'm loving Forever21's line Love21 (a more contemporary fashion line). They have tons of cute outfits, and some are even good for cruising. A few days ago the girls at work and I were chatting abotu fashion, when Jessica Simpson's clothing line came up. Some were shocked that they liked her designs but I have always loved her style and I think Jessica Simpson's online shop is adorable. While some things are out of my price range, most of her items are reasonably priced. I love the way infinity (circle) scarfs look and while I have no problem dishing out some cash for a good quality fashionable scarf, I was intrigued by this DIY version blogger Kristin posted on her blog Studs and Pearls.

Not only does she demonstrate how to make the scarf step by step, but she also shows how with the one sweater, you can make a headband, arm warmers and even a pair of leg warmers.

It's finally here, my December, Holiday Edition Luxe Box from Loose Button. I was so excited when I was contacted by Loose Button to review this special edition box for December.

OK so you're probably wondering what a Luxe Box is. Well it's the Canadian version of Birch Box. You pay a few bucks each month and in return you receive a super personalized, and pretty little black box filled with beauty products to try out (think makeup, haircare and beauty products).

What I love about this service is the personalization and the quality of the products. For example, I probably would never buy myself a face cream that costs $130 retail. But, thanks to Luxe Box, I can at least test a trial size version to see what I've been missing!

This month, my Holiday Edition Luxe Box included:

Kerastase Elixir Ultime: I'm embarrassed to admit I had never heard of this product. When my cousin filled me in on the mystery, I was totally intrigued. I tried it this morning and totally love how shiny and soft this made my hair.
Velour Upper Lashes: These lashes are mink inspired and custom ordered by celebrities. As soon as I saw "celebrities" I was hooked. I haven't tried them yet but I plan to soon!
Prada Candy and Infusion D'Iris: Yummy smelling perfumes.
DDF Advanced Firming Cream: Well, luckily I don't have any wrinkles so I can't tell you if it works but, I hear it's quite the savoury product so it now has a new home in my makeup case.

So overall, even though I wouldn't really use most of the products in my Luxe Box, I still think it's an amazing service and I think I'm going to sign up for this service. A beauty box in the mail, every month for a year. It doesn't get much better than that folks!

It's been awhile since I have been able to go anywhere without a diaper bag attached to my hip. So, I've made myself a promise. IF there comes a day in the near future that hubby and I are able to go out, toddler free, I am chucking the diaper bag in the closet and trading it in for a cute little black clutch like this one from Zara. Love the size. Love the black. Love the different prints. Love it. Love it. Love it. And since I am obsessed with wearing black, it will match about a zillion of my outfits!

I'm always on the lookout for new pieces to add to my work wardrobe. It's hard to find pants, jackets, and tops that I can mix and match for the office and home life. The one thing I always seem to gravitate to is pairing blazers and jackets with my dress pants and jeans. Blazers look great dressed up or down, they're almost like an accessory to me!
