Coming Soon! Facebook for iPhone 3.0 apps

I believe this is good news for all iPhone users and all Facebook users around the world, include Indonesia. Facebook for iPhone 3.0 apps will come very soon.
The application has many improvements and changes such as:

1. "Enhanced" News Feed.
2. Events (with the ability to RSVP), notes and pages.
3. Photos Feature:
- Create new photo albums
- Upload photos to any album
- Zoom into photos
- Easier photo tagging
- Profile Pictures albums
4. Easy navigation to all your stuff, search, and notifications
5. Add your favorite profiles and pages to the home screen
6. Enhanced notifications feature (they link to the comments so you can reply easily)
7. Quickly call or text people right from the Friends page.
8. Message auto-saving feature (Messages you are typing will be automatically saved if you are interrupted by a phone call, so it can be restored later).

The updates are about photos and some basic feature things only. There are no such things like 'push notification' feature which are being asked by everyone. But anyway, still, this is a good news for all iPhone and Facebook-mobile users. The updates are coming! Very soon...

Facebook Headquarter Photos

Here are pictures of Facebook headquarter in Palo Alto, California. This album is a good sequel of our "Facebook office revelation", after we shared Julian Smith's video few months ago. Check the pictures, some of them show employees at work situation.

We've grabbed the picture fromn TechCrunch.com. Actually, this is Facebook's new office. They've just moved here. The new place is very-very-very huge. It is 150,000 square feet and used by nearly 1,000 employees every day. Well, Techcrunch said, "Facebook grew too big for that. Facebook needed a campus". So, I guess the ranch is just a temporary home for them. They’ll be moving again in 2 years. Lol.

Facebook is the fastest growing social networking site on the web. Have you ever imagine how the inside of the Facebook headquarter building is? Is it white-and-blue just like the site's appearance? How is the situation there? What’s happen there? How are the workers there? Well... Julian Smith, the creator of '25 Things I Hate about Facebook' videos got the answer.

About three weeks after Julian Smith posted '25 Things I Hate About Facebook' video on youtube, he was invited to visit Facebook headquarter in California. He tapped his precious moment in the tour. Check out the 'Inside The New Facebook Layout' video he made. Well, it's such a funny and amusing video. Just like Julian said, "It was the first official Facebook digital short ever!”

Thanks to Sherly Teman for sharing this cool 'tag-your-friend picture' on facebook/ myspace. Yes... It's Naruto, Pals! With this picture you can tag your friends as Hokage-Ninjas on your facebook/ myspace!

We all know Naruto is a very popular Japanese cartoon. They use to call it manga/ anime.. The figures in this photo are represent some common human characters, such as Naruto Uzumaki is the harworker-fighter one as he's the primary figure in the story... Sakura Haruno is the attractive one since she's the only girl in Team 7.. The genius Sasuke Uchiha is the rival which has desire to defeat his brother and develop a withdrawn personality... Hatake Kakashi is a leader and a guru which has calm and tardiness personality. Etc.

There are fourteen more other characters in the picture. If you are fan of Naruto then you'll know more what each figure’s personality is. You should have known them more than us here. The Release of Facebook for Blackberry v 1.5

On Thursday, Yohanes Tanda, one of our friend, informed us of an update to Facebook for Blackberry v1.5. Actually, the release has been announced widely on the net since last week. We've collect some information that changes in this new version of Facebook for Blackberry v1.5. include:

* Your messages in Facebook can now be routed through your standard messaging inbox
* You can now pull your Facebook contacts into your BlackBerry contact list.
* Facebook for Blackberry v1.5 can add events and birthdays to your calendar automatically.

In addition, this new version also fix bug and tweaks performance. I think this is great news for facebook members and Blackberry users in Indonesia.

Do you know Julian Smith? He is a young talented amateur artist who regularly makes short movies and shares them in the internet (on his youtube, facebook or his website). He has created many interesting films. Here is one of his creations, a video titled '25 Things I Hate about Facebook'. The video is so funny and maybe it can gives us another perspective in seeing Facebook as the fastest growing social networking site. The movie get much attention from many people, includes Tyra Bank and Facebook administrator. Julian Smith was invited to be interviewed on Tyra Bank show and to visit Facebook headquarter in California also. Such a lucky boy.

Start Tagging Your Friend on Facebook!

You've probably seen that there are facebookers who love to tag their friends (tandai teman) in photos/ pictures that feature different personalities and characters. Or maybe you are one of them? Well, this is all the new rage on facebook now... It's very fun. People love to express their friendship and relationship in a picture.

Here Facebuku team posts a picture you can use to tag your friends. Just right click on the picture, 'save image' to your computer, then upload it to the Photos section on your Facebook profile and start tagging your friends.
Your tagged friend soon will be notified that they had been tagged in a photo by you. They will check the picture immediately and they'll know how you see them. Maybe they're surprised. I guess your tagged friends will give their comments, furthermore they probably respond your tag by posting their own pictures and tagging you...
The good thing is: you and your friends will see and know how your community measures the relationship between all of you. Yes... that's the point of these tagging activities on facebook.
