Hide Windows 7 Wireless Network Security Key

1) Open the "Registry Editor" by clicking Start > Search > Type "Regedit"

2) On your left, expand the folder name "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT"

3) Go to the folder name "AppID" among the huge folder list and Expand that folder as well

4) Now find the Key folder name "{86F80216-5DD6-4F43-953B-35EF40A35AEE}" among the list

5) Right click on "{86F80216-5DD6-4F43-953B-35EF40A35AEE}" and choose "Permissions"

6) Click on "Advance" button and on the following window go to "Owner" Tab

7) Check the box which says "Replace Owner on subcontainers and objects"

8) Click Apply and then ok to go back to the main panel

9) Then delete the entry abc\administrators and the entry abc\domain users, and added the entry for my domain administrator with all rights. (Here, abc is the computer name)

10) Click Apply then OK

11) Restart your PC. You are all Set :)

From now on you can connect to WIFI network, can access to the network center but cannot unmark the "Hide caracters"

Here, my intention was to create a simple search enging which will extract all the related usernames from my database that match with the first letter given by the end user, then second, then third and so forth (accordingly). Thus it will aultimately narrow down the search as well as will be given the right username in live time. (Features)

Specifications: IIS7, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, jQuery, JS and HTML

Files needed: jsearch.html, getData.php, jquery-1.3.2.min.js, jquery-ui-1.7.2.cus tom.min.js

Note: Make sure you will create your database and table first and then make the data available for you to work. And you can download jquery-1.3.2.min.js and jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.min.js files from the official site of jQuery. (If you download any file from my Google Docs, then just remove the .rtf file extension and save by the appropriate extension)

If you want to connect your Microsoft Access (2007) database and use this search engine then copy these are the following files: search.html, access.php. A sample database is also here for you: test.mdb......Good luck

In both cases you will need this JS file (blinkingTextboxEffect.js.txt) to activate the textarea blinking effect. The source of that JS file is contented by itself.

Many PHP-Developers like me face the problem when they want to generate complicated reports in PDF format or any other. Recently i publish a post about this issue and i presented How to use FPDF and ZEND framework to achieve the goal. But are those tools really user friendly? Now here i am presenting a new tool called "iReport" which will save your life. Its GUI interface is very simple and lot more powerful compare to others.

PHP: create a "PDF" report

If you want to generate a PDF report based on your user's feedback, then the following sample work of mine would be very helpful for the beginners:

I used PHP scripting language along with FPDF framework. I found FPDF as a very nice and easy framework to solve this problem. Although there is another framework beside FPDF, is called Zend. Both of these frameworks were referred by E-Oreo and b3n from PHP Development forum. Therefore, credit goes to them as well. Thanks a lot guys....

PHP: Date calculation

It is a very common situation that you may ask your user to choose a date (example: Death_of_birth) and later you may want to do some calculations based on their given date. A nice and simple solution (based on PHP) i am providing here. (Figure_1: page_1.php)

When the user will click on submit button then the following page will be generated (Figure_2: page_2.php):

Solution: I created 2 pages. page_1.php and page_2.php. From page_1, i just passed the variables to page_2 and formatted those in a date format (MySQL-style). Thats the important lesson you will get from this tutorial. And see how did i calculate the total number of days ;)

Dreamweaver MX: Fix ur bug !!!

Problem:

I have three php pages such as login.php, logout.php and relogin.php. In MySql database i have one table (name user_info). And there the username is "faisalnet5" and password is "1212".

Without doing page restriction on logout.php, all the pages are running perfectly. Running means, in login page if u type wrong username or password then it will redirect u to relogin.php page by saying "U entered wrong username/password " and won't allow you to get into the page logout.php unless u type the real username and password. But when i assigned page restriction on logout.php then from login.php i can't get into logout.php page at all although i am typing the right username and passoword.

Solution:

The problem statement is very simple and practical. There are two games. For the first game (Game_1) user has 3 options (can choose any one of each) and each option is associated with values. Such as, if the user chooses 1st radio button then the value 10 will appear in the right side text area (on the first row) which presents the final decision for Game_1. Alternatively, If the user chooses 2nd then 5 or if chooses 3rd then 0 will be assigned as a final decision of Game_1 accordingly.

For the second game (Game_2), the same though applies as like Game_1. And finally the “Total Points” field will presents the total value of Game_1 and Game_2.

I was trying to solve this problem by using PHP first. The Script I had written is Here. But I couldn’t make it. And then with some good suggestions and solutions from Mr. Fujin, qforever (Blog Name) and my younger sister, finally I wrote a simple JavaScript, which is Here (Running 100% perfect).
