I second that. There SHOULD be a show in which a member of CBC should be invited,and openly questioned by the public on this ridiculous act. Is it not possible to sign a petition or something of that sort and take a LEGAL action against these inhumane people? Although i doubt it would make a difference but something should be done.

Just about half n hour back i witnessed somthing excatly like this event. I was on my way home when i saw people gathered around an animal. I parked my car and asked whats going on and i got the response that it was a pet dog and it had been poisoned. I made all the efforts it could. As it was late at night there was no vet open. I called a vet but he said its to late to do anything and it died a slow painful death in front of my eyes. I called DHA helpline but found CBC is responsible for this inhumane act. I hope you do a show and this and call someone from the CBC so i may can and express my hatred for this asshole. It was the worst sight of my life.. I say that we must take stronge actions against this. I hope to hear back from you soon.

The Ankahi show is quite different from other so called talk-shows. In Ankahi there is a dialouge, discussion and as in urdu we say mukalama. Where as in most of other talk-show its anchor vs Guests or Callers. In Ankahi we first time witnessed a talk and discussion in low key (nichay kay sur mein) in other talk shows one can mute and still understand what is going on, the anchors there are so excited for God knows what. Faisal Sahib please carry on in your style which comes naturally to you and is very charming and effective

well, these are the ethics of an anchor and he holds the responsibility to the masses, but here in our society where media is currently acting as a catalyst,
you can observe it for yourself when ever media is involved the process speeds up.

Millions all over the world cried for Diana, millions cried for Elvis, thousands cried for Gen Zia …. People cried for the first coz she was pretty, was charming etc, the second had a nice voice — the third … i don’t know — anyway my point is how does any of the crying help all these dead people in anyway… The important Q is did their families cry for them — their tears were the only important ones. So “who will cry for me” is not a valid Q. Some of the previous Qs do have weight. Those are Qs we should all ask ourselves. Why r we here and have we contributed anything positive to other peoples’ lives or the world. None of us are indispensible but at the same time all of us are unique and each of us can contribute a little something everyday like spreading happiness or helping others etc.
