The claims and credentials of Jesus Christ “mark” Him as the most extraordinary and magnificent person to have ever walked on this earth. Once you hear His astounding story, I mean really hear it, you will never be the same. And if you allow Him to do so, Jesus will “mark” you forever by transforming your life with His love and grace. He will show you how to live a life that matters more than you ever thought possible. That’s why around AD 57, a man named Mark set to work with his mentor, the Apostle Peter, to produce the first written “Gospel” (the word means: the good news) of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. They wanted everyone to know the Jesus they knew … the way they knew Him. Our hearts have been turning toward home for quite a while now but now the plane will too. We arrive Tuesday afternoon after a long day of flying chasing the time zones. We can’t wait to see you all Sunday and please be praying for us as we process all the information, relationships, sights and sounds over the next few weeks. We will take the time to talk about our trip on June 3rd. Please be there.

I hope you are joining with Faith today. A few of us are missing but what a great Mother’s Day Morning we had in an International Church in the North African city we fly out from tomorrow. We met people from Finland, USA, Ireland, Nigeria, Ghana, Antiga, Dominica, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Swaziland and the list goes on. John, Ron and Aaron signing off.

Well, we are almost home. These few days of decompressing have become very valuable. We have journaled and debriefed and we have a little more to do. Thanks for your support and love. On Thursday we took a tour of a medina, had our first cous, cous, traveled a few hours to Roman ruins, dinner with local friends, traveled another few hours to our last destination. It has been a really full whirlwind trip. Our hearts are full to overflowing and yet there is more to come.

It’s getting hot over here. We just had our first day in the 90′s and were sweating it out. We have enjoyed the great people, new friends and old alike. We spent the afternoon visting the ancient medina and even got to see some old ruins at the look out over the city. PJ got to make friends with a shepherd and the souvenir shopping took an upswing.

Ron, Aaron and PJ here, we are just pulling into a great north African city where we are anticipating meeting with a special family from our community at home. We are driving right now and have had a long day. We’ve been surrounded (in car) all day by sheep, shepherds, mountain vistas and the people who inhabit these mountains. Again, thanks for making all of this possible. I hope you enjoy watching the video and seeing a bit of what we have been seeing today. With hearts full of joy and stories abounding we make it back into North Africa. I (Aaron) am not sure I can take in many more stories. My heart already really full to overflowing with the people we have shared time with. We are spending a night overlooking a sweet little beach area. We went down to the public beach area as the sun was going down and met some young men picking jellyfish out of the bay. This was a good sign not to swim. They knew some English and we had a jovial time laughing about their antics.

We (Ron speaking) traveled through some beautiful countryside to the border today. Crossing was very easy for which we were thankful to DAD. We are in a beautiful Mediteranean city now and just finished a high sucrose content lunch with a native family. We are almost in diabetic comas. We are looking for a hotel to spend the night for a Sunday meeting tomorrow morning with new friends and a picnic to follow. The individual strengths of the team members are showing up and I can see why Dad had us come on this trip together. ~ Ron
