Crazy past couple of years for me. So much is new and different. What is the saying, "The only thing that remains the same is change?" My mother likes to tell me that I am the most resilient person she knows. I take a beating and keep on ticking. I took it a step further than 'takes a licking'. I don't want to be licked anyway, but I sure feel like I have been beaten up, at times.

Those days should be long behind me now, long behind us. I have been trying to make a better life for my daughter, myself and our little critters. We have four cats now and one parrot. They all seem to be quite content and oblivious to the bills, the bumps in the road and life's occasional stresses that mommy has to work around. Scarlet is old enough that she sees and knows all too well what we are going through. But things are looking up, way up. Life is good, we are on the right track, full speed ahead. I just wish we could put the pedal to the metal, literally. That is our next hurdle; we need a car.

Tax refund arrived in the bank and I had already ear-marked the money for various bills, debts, necessities. Things always add up faster than expected and before you know it, there go some of the ear-marks. I suppose it's normal to have to go over the budget again and fine tune, juggle, crunch the numbers again. It is just so frustrating. Times like this are the moments that remind me I'm doing this household, heavy, life-changing moments alone, never married. It can be scary, but as the resiliency starts to kick in to nudge me forward, I have learned over the years just to plow ahead and not sweat every detail so much. Focus on the big picture, knock the little sh*t tasks out of the way and it will all work out eventually. Note, I did not say work itself out. I know I have to put major work into this thing called life, but as long as I don't over think the tasks in the battle and do think/focus on the destination, I will win this war. Pretty soon it will stop feeling like a war and start feeling like a dream vacation. Are we not supposed to enjoy life to the fullest? Yes, we are.

I have come a long way. Oregon was the worst. G-d bless the folks that choose to live there and make the most of their lives if they love it, but it was not for me! We lived near the central coast and during our 7 year stretch up there, you only get about 2 good months a year of pleasant weather. Sure, it's gorgeous up there year round, but sunshine and mild weather? Don't count on it.

California is our home state, born and raised. Never thought I'd live in Las Vegas, and here we are. After moving back down to California from Oregon for just about one year, was laid off of a pretty good job I landed in the Bay Area that was supposed to be a permanent hire. It was a pretty cush job at an Architect firm. Unfortunately, soon after I was hired, Corporate decided to downsize again, so since I was one of the most recent hires, I was the first to go. Wish they had thought of that before they hired me, but everything for a reason. Within that week, got a call from my Uncle that he needed to sell the house we were renting. Maybe California was just meant to be a stepping stone along our path to finding life again outside of Oregon.

What's the opposite of Oregon? The desert. We love it out here in Vegas! It is relatively much newer than San Jose, where we were in California, and we are in a much nicer, cleaner neighborhood now. For anyone that has not been to Vegas, or only visits "the strip" side of town or has only heard about Vegas and can only imagine; there are neighborhoods and townships that stretch out all around the famous strip that are worlds away from that lifestyle. We live in a quiet, beautiful, clean, manicured, lake shore community with parks, ducks, geese, swans and a lot more wild-life than I would have guessed lives out here in the desert. There are cute little wild bunnies all over! I haven't been able to get close enough to one to get a picture, they are fast.

Tonight was just about jotting a quickie post to update my blog. I definitely need to redesign it. I want to find a whole new layout, one not so childish, more professional blogger looking. I need to add some pictures, widgets, links. I have a lot of work to do.

She was very old and she always amazed me she hung on as long as she did. This past year she was a walking skeleton, the poor dear. She was a tough ol broad, kept hangin' on and walking 'til the end. She asways struck me as the Matriarch of the house . . . she was the keeper of the gate, the mother hen. Whenever any of us were sick, she was right there to take care of us - even the dog. She'd snuggle up to him in his doghouse, and he for her. The dog was sure depressed for her these past couple days. They just know.

Anyway, my thread title is visits & signs.
The morning of her passing (Fri morning/she passed Fri night) - I awoke from a very vivid dream. A HUGE, magnificent, brilliant tiger came to my window. I was scared at first, but I peeked out the window and locked eyes with the tiger. It looked at me, but we exchanged no thought - you know how you do sometimes in dreams, talk with animals telepathically.
After our breif exchange of looks, the beautiful tiger gracefully moved along with a purpose. She was headed straight for some children that were riding on their big wheels in the middle of the street. At first I tried to scream through the window to warn the children that a tiger was after them, but the big beautiful tiger stopped, turned and looked at me again and a calm came over me. Then the tiger continued to the children. She stopped them in their tracks and they came to see her on the sidewalk. They were so amazed by her, she led them out of the street and as she sat there, with what seemed like a grin on her face, they pet her, these children pet this gorgeous tiger right outside my window.

I jolted awake not having a CLUE what this fantastic dream was about. Then I walked out to get some morning coffee and saw our missy, in the backyard, just outside my window, not doing so good. I knew it would be that day or during the night that she would go. She walked very slowly toward me and came in the house. I picked her up and she just lay limp in my arms.

I offered her some water and soft food, but she had no appetite. I know when they are close, they don't want to eat anyway. The rest of the day, I just kept checking on her. Since it was Friday, my daughter was at school. When my daughter got home, I told her Missy was on her way and so they spent some hours together snuggling. As my daughter cried and held her, Missy kept reaching her paw out, slowly, brushing my daughters face. It was so beautiful and magical, but seemed to morbid for video.

Missy kept trying to be strong for my daughter. Missy was always a caretaker and she absolutely adored children. I think that tiger was either Missy's spirit guide or perhaps Missy somehow before she even left her body that came to me in that dream.

We said our goodbyes and I assured Missy not to try and stay for us, that it was okay and her time to go. She left us soon after that.

Now for the sign part -
I had to work today, Saturday. Of course I thought about our dear Missy a lot today. I work at Safeway. A nice gentleman with a seeing eye dog came in. I went up to get my 'animal fix' and asked him if it was okay to pet her on duty. He said sure. I asked him her name, and he said, "Heaven."

What are the chances that precisely when I am mourning the loss of our beloved animal, an animal named Heaven walks in my door at work? ♥

We are blessed to have had all those wonderful years with our sweet old Missy cat. Can't wait to see her again!!

Today is my first day back to school. I enrolled at the University of Phoenix, online college courses. I am very excited about this. I have some general ed and pre-requisite classes to get out of the way, of course, but I'm on a roll.

It feels very good to have some solid, tangible goals ahead of me in clear view and I know I can do this. I can do anything I set my mind to. My problem has always been narrowing my interests down and focusing on one thing at a time. So, I usually end up too scattered and before you know it, the years just keep ticking by and I haven't actually accomplished much, besides surviving day to day and raising a pretty terrific kid.

Since day one assignments for both my classes was simply to post our (all the students) bio, I'll just copy it here:
Greetings All! Happy Monday!

Hello, my name is Karen Falcon. I am a 39yr young single mom to one beautiful 13yr daughter, Scarlet. I was born and raised in northern California's San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose specifically. I lived and worked in the Silicon Valley as an Executive Secretary until I got a wild hair to completely change our lives and move up to rural Oregon in 2002. I had grown weary of the millions strong congestion and my life chained to a desk. The country life suited my daughter and I very well, at first. We farmed the land, raised sheep and made some new friends. I learned Oregon is a beautiful get-away, but we are now moving back to California this summer, after 7 years of trials and tribulation. I would love to write a book one day of all that we have been through on this crooked path up here in Oregon. Phew, what a life experience!

With me about to turn 40 in two months and my daughter a thriving teenager, I felt compelled to get on the ball back to school! I have never married and my daughter will be off to college in no time, so I want to get a degree and start a career. The best reward so far, my daughter is very proud of her mom going back to school. I am happy I am finally setting a constructive and productive example for her instead of just surviving day to day. Life has been such a struggle these past 14 years on our own. I had felt so broken and defeated at times that the idea of going back to school usually did not even enter my mind with just trudging through the days. When I would give it a passing thought at rare times, that was it, just a quick thought of, "Yeah right, how could I ever go to college?"

Blame it on mid-life crisis or the ol-spinster complex of being scared I'll end up spending the rest of my life alone after Scarlet goes off to college, I began to really look seriously at my chances and opportunities for going to school. I was and still am so pleasantly surprised at the grant opportunities and real staff support to help everyone go for their dreams! My mind is set on Accounting and Financial Services for the immediate future. I figure, the way the world economy is, companies will always need someone to work the numbers, so I wanted to start with a practical foundation for the first part of my education. I hope to find a position in a company in northern California's Bay Area in an accounting department and work my way up as I continue my education. After several years, once I reach my Financial Academic goals, my long-term continued education goals are set real high. I'd actually love to be a Doctor someday! Dentistry is tickling the back of my mind. Since I have been without insurance for several years now, my teeth are in terrible shape. My very-long-term goal would be to become a Dentist, travel northern California with a mobile Dentist office and help the many less-fortunate folks that have been trying to survive without insurance too, especially the children!

I firmly believe in giving back to the community. For now, I am happy to start with crunching numbers and making new friends along the way. When we move back home to California this summer, we will find organizations where we can volunteer. That ought to keep us out of trouble! For our own personal down-time, my daughter and I have several critters: our dog Petey is a Pekingese, our parrot Romeo is an Eclectus parrot and a big talker and four cats, Missy our old lady, Pony that we found down at a barn, her son PJ (Pony Jr.) who is a big fat moose and Annie that we adopted when I found my neighbor lifeless on Halloween! That will be another one for the book! I find it difficult to sum-up a bio. Single mom, never married, finally going back to school. I love reading, blogging, facebook, twitter, photography, music, my daughter, our pets and making new friends!
___________________________________

I admit, my bio is a bit 'wordy', but I have two excuses: 1) I followed the instructor and others' format and 2) I have never been able to pare down a bio. So, voila.

For a Monday, today has been a pretty great day. I have met a lot of people online in my classes, (taking two simultaneous classes to start.) Although only a couple have responded on the thread to meet me in return, I enjoyed reading their bios, getting to know my fellow classmates and responding to them with introducing myself to them. I secretly wish more would take time to interact, but we all have separate lives and maybe they are even taking more classes than me. Soon enough, I'll be back out in the work-force and making more friends than I can even STAND! Shoo fly :-)

What can I do? I am just whining. I think what I am really disappointed in are the unfortunate mix of paid opps of late. Tarnishes my baby blog. Sometimes in downtime I stumble. That is where I discover websites that fascinate me. I rarely miss an episode. Having had many of my own experiences, that I plan to start blogging about on my new Paranormal-Hour blog that I still have to design. I locked in the name, I just have to get busy building it up and loading it up with all my stories!

I love to peruse around the T.A.P.S. website to catch up on all their latest adventures. I find, just diving into the subject gives me creepy dreams at night, which I enjoy by the way. My doggie suffers from many ailments. Like many people owned by dogs, (because I almost said 'like many dog owners'), my heart just aches and brakes if I can't keep my little heart warmer, legwarmer, lap warmer just as happy and tail-waggin as possible. I'd give our guy the world if I could.

Petey, our Pekingese, had been itchy-scratchy for so long and we tried so many flea treatments and nothing seemed to work. Turned out it wasn't fleas after all. Our Petey just has exceptional skin issues among many other Pekingese issues. We tried every different pet food under the sun and even tried making his own fresh produce, rice and chicken meals at home for a couple months to see if his system would show us any improvement.

Petey's relief came soon after I acted on that Dinovite radio commercial I heard. That particular announcement was specifically about constant itchin-and-a-scratchin that drives you nutsie-cukoo! I ordered Petey the smallest to start, only $29.99, SUPER investment with a 90 day guarantee. We used every last bit and LOVE IT and no need for that guarantee, this stuff works. Not only does it work, it's packed full of supplements for our dear Petey. This post is supposed to be about shampoo, but I just get really excited about Dinovite and love to share with people how much Petey loves it and gobbles it up & it helps his skin.

NOW for the Perfect Timing bit of my blog. It just came across my desk in email about the dog shampoo. I was just going to give him a bath, and I will go ahead and use our regular ol shampoo that's under the sink for him. But I just have to order this DOG SUDS shampoo from Dinovite. I can hardly wait! It helps keep him smelling fresh longer, (and boy does my dog need help with that). It boasts 100% pure essential oils, natural flea deterrent and even removes skunk odor! Luckily, our Petey has never run into a skunk!

Is your dog itching, scratching and stinking beyond belief? I consider integrity to be number one, because if a team comes to you highly recommended from a good source with integrity, well, that about covers many bases already of worrisome points that you can simply check off the list. With integrity, you know they are going to be honest, hard working, reliable and reputable. Those are qualities that virtually define integrity.

And just because you are a 'virtual' team on-line, there are real people behind the scenes; that is too often a disconnect. One such team that you can count on for real reputable and real personable established relationships is Web Hosting Geeks. This team goes above and beyond the call of duty to provide current quality service and continue to back it with current real-time support. Above and beyond support, the Web Hosting Geeks website blog has invaluable information to glean and put to good use to optimize and organize all the complexities that can otherwise be overwhelmingly scattered and not at all friendly to your clientele and target group, if you did not have their geek brains to pick behind the scenes. There's probably a little nose pickin going on too. I don't care how they do what they do, that is what they are there for and the expertise they produce shines through their blog posts.

Read up on their many, many customer reviews, webmaster reviews and further outreach markets reviews to discover their rock-solid customer loyalty, care and satisfaction. These geeks have their system down and know what it takes to keep you happy so you can keep your business growing and your market happy. It is human nature, after all. Doesn't make it ok. Especially when there are children involved. But there was no child in this story. Only the pulled upon heartstrings and put-upon feelings of kind folks from all across America.

Beccah Beushausen decided one day, to create a story about her terminally ill, unborn daughter and blog about it. Let me rephrase that, an unborn baby, not 'her', there never was one, unborn or not. She made the whole thing up, but just why was not in the FoxNews.com cover story.

The 26yr old social worker from a Chicago suburb's story spread fast and got attention from anti-abortion groups and thousands upon thousands of others, with the followers growing weekly, up to 100,000 hits a week. The article states there is no proof that she gained monetarily from her blog, but the link the article provides does have some advertising on it. Being a blogger myself, I'd LOVE to have thousands of hits and I know what that can do for advertising income. Her blog is down now, but you can view a past post here, provided by FoxNews.com.

Some followers sent gifts and pictures to an address on the website. . . .whtwhtWhaaat? She's a social worker and she provides an address in plain view on a public blogger blog? Not very bright this one. Her story was bound to unravel and soon it did when she, stupidly, posted a picture of a doll, A DOLL on her blog of the baby, claiming she was born alive but died only hours after. Clearly this girl needs attention, and she is getting more than she ever wished for now with TONS of hate mail. I am not going that route. Happy to blog about her demise, but I wouldn't add to her misery. Maybe I'll just post a picture of a blow-up doll and claim she's here, hiding out from the press. "Yes, she's here. She's full of hot air."

It is very frustrating. I shouldn't care what my blog looks like I guess, but it's under my skin. I like blogging and my posts this past year have been mediocre to down-write-lame because I had lost the passion for my tired ol blog.

Updating it and cleaning it up, at least trying to, has renewed my appreciation for the art of blogging. I enjoy reading other successful blogs and really want to get mine going again. Trying to read up on some CSS codes, but there are sooooo many links to hit from google, AaaahhhhGGhhh, pulling my hair out!!

My gut is aching with guilt, literally, and telling me to get up off my rear, but it is so difficult to leave my poor blog half-assed and just hanging there waiting for me to fix'er up! But the housework is falling (way) behind, the garbage not only needs to be taken out, I need an entire dump-run. I need to water plants, fold the clean laundry that is just piled up, do more laundry, wash dishes, clean the bird cage, wash the dog, scoop the litter boxes (yes, that's more than one), vacuum, dust, clean the toilet and then maybe get back to my blog. [YouTube searched 'housework funny']

What do you do?

I'm the founder, editor and sometimes blogger of three blogs – ProBlogger.net (blog tips), Digital-Photograhy-School.com (photography tips) and TwiTip.com (Twitter tips).

I'm also a co-founder of the blog network b5media and co-author of the book ProBlogger (Wiley).

What was your first job?

I worked as a 'shelf technician' (I stacked shelves at night in a super market) while I was at high school, worked selling stationery and office products during uni and as a minister (church, not governmental) after university.

What did you study?

Out of high school I studied Marketing at RMIT and then Theology at Whitley College (Melbourne Uni).

Describe a typical day?

6-6.30am: One or both of my boys wake up and the day begins with the normal routine seen in most households with kids (utter chaos).

8.30-9am: I head to work (which involves a 15 meter walk to our front room).

9am: The day starts with checking for anything urgent, angry emails, crashed servers, injury list at Carlton Football club etc. – this time of day I sometimes schedule US-based interviews and meetings.

9.30am: Most weekday mornings I head to a local cafe and spend 1-2 hours writing or editing posts for my blogs.

11am: Back home, the rest of my morning is spent uploading and scheduling posts on blogs, 'networking' on Twitter, interacting with readers in comments or via email

1pm: Lunch.

1.20pm-5pm: Afternoon activities vary from day to day and can include more writing and editing of blog posts, recording and editing of video posts, marketing/promotional activities, networking and Twitter.

5-7.30pm: Chaos resumes as the dinner/bath/bed routine begins.

7.30-11pm: More work (as above, a mixture of activities). In the evenings (depending how timezones/daylight savings lines up) I also spend time on calls with US partners.

11pm: Bed.

What is on the agenda for 2009?

This year I'm working hard to expand the two main blogs that I have both in terms of content, mediums and income streams. It has seen me release an e-book on ProBlogger, expand DPS with two new areas/blogs and will see the development of a new area on ProBlogger in the coming months.

While the economy has hit many hard I see it as an opportunity for growth and diversification and am working hard to position my web properties as more significant players in their niches as things bounce back.

What brand do you love the most? Hate the most? Why?

Google – I greatly admire their growth, their innovation and their vision. I also love that they send me a tonne of traffic each month and deposit enough cash in my account each month to pay my mortgage (and some). I also can't imagine my day without some of their products. Of course there's also moments of 'hate' (or maybe frustration would be a better word) with Google – they're such a big company which can make interacting with them as a solo-entrepreneur difficult at times.

What do you believe has been the most significant moment in the history of marketing?

I think we're living in it. The development of the internet and the opportunities it opens up are mind boggling (and we're still right at the beginning).

The fact that an ordinary guy like me living in the burbs and working from his front room (and local cafes) can be communicating with three million people a month while making a living gets me pinching myself every day.

Where can people find you?

ProBlogger: ProBlogger.net

Digital Photography School: Digital-Photography-School.com

TwiTip: TwiTip.com

Twitter: @ProBlogger

I’ll show you how to grow a community of followers who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer using simple tools and techniques.

If your goal for using Twitter is simply to acquire as many followers as possible, there are plenty of common techniques you can use to accomplish your goal. For most people though, the quality of relationships made on Twitter is much more important than the quantity.

Maybe you’re trying to attract people to your blog, or sell a product, or find some freelancing work or just meet some new like-minded friends. Whatever the case, you can use the techniques here to build a high-quality Twitter following.

Stay on Topic and Write Often

In a lot of ways, Twitter really is just like blogging. One of the golden rules of blogging is staying on topic. When you’re building a blog audience, that audience needs to have a good idea of what you’ll be writing about.

If you switch topics to whatever you’re interested in day-to-day, it will be hard to gain and keep readers. Some people get around this rule because they are really interesting, but they are the exception, not the rule.

The same goes for Twitter. It is much easier to connect with people who will genuinely be interested in what you have to say if those people can figure out what you’ll be tweeting about. Pick a topic, or a handful of related topics, and write about them. Write often, and use the same keywords that you use to search for information about your topics.

Twitter Search RSS Feed

Have you ever looked for something on Twitter Search? It’s a great way to find out what people are saying on Twitter about a particular topic.

When someone tweets about something that you also write about, there’s a better chance that he will be interested in your twitter stream. You can search for various keywords on Twitter Search, and discover people who are talking about the same things you care about.

This is how I find make the best connections on Twitter. I search regularly for keywords related to the topic I blog about. I then check out the people writing on the subject and add them if I think they will care about what I have to say. It’s a focused approach, and it has helped me turn Twitter into the most powerful marketing tool for my blog.

To automate this process, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for each search you would regularly run. The search results will then be regularly refreshed in your favorite RSS reader, where you can keep track of the conversations and continually add people who might like your tweets. I’ve found that people I add this way are the most likely to retweet my best content.

Retweet and Ye Shall Receive

A lot has been said about retweeting here on TwiTip before. It also happens to be a great tool for gaining like-minded followers.

When you retweet something from someone you follow (on a subject that you regularly tweet about), you’ll set yourself up to gain some valuable followers. Here’s how it works and how to do it.

When retweeting, expect to give before you get. Start by retweeting things that you genuinely find interesting, and more importantly that your followers will find interesting. This will help you gain followers in a couple of ways.

First, some of the people you retweet will eventually reciprocally retweet your content. Since they write about the same things you write about, it’s likely that their followers will be interested in you too. Second, the people you retweet will also likely write “@ reply” thank you notes to you and/or recommend you for #followfridays.

Making Use of Your New Best Followers

If you use these techniques, you’ll start to find people writing more about you and your content on Twitter. It doesn’t take tens of thousands of followers to drive some meaningful traffic to your blog or website. I’ve found that with only a thousand followers, Twitter has become my best marketing tool.

Start building a better quality Twitter following for yourself today. Just stay on topic, write often, find people through Twitter Search and retweet people how you like to be tweeted.

After I dove in and started reading other peoples' blogs around blogger and beyond, I immediately saw the world-wide fascination with blogging! There are a LOT of interesting people in the world, right at our fingertips.

My blog is ever evolving and I still have trouble with html, trouble wasting too much time on it when I am sure others crank this stuff out. That gets a little deep though for this simple blog post this evening. Nonetheless, true.

I took a leisurely walk to our local store, as opposed to my usual power walk, intent on burning calories. Almost to the store. It was in my sight, oh, just a few more steps and whaddayaknow, I see my Landlord pulling out of the parking lot. Naturally he has to look both ways before driving out, so he sees me on the sidewalk. He's a dear man, lovely, but can be quite the chatterbox. I'm on a mission, on quick-store-pursuit and his rambling tongue is the road block to my life on Twitter Street. What will I be missing? Ah, but what I would have missed had I not taken the time to really listen and honestly be in the presence of a fellow being. Patience.

He taught me something new and valuable today, wait. Rather W.A.I.T., "What am I thinking?" Somehow we got on the subject of the Divine Matrix, Napoleon Hill, the ever expanding and evolving energies of the universe, our vibrational frequencies, our status in life, and so on. He started saying something about 'shoulda, coulda, woulda,' and changing the thought process. So I reached down dangled my earbuds from my iPod shuffle and said I was just listening to a Gregg Braden interview on the way over here, fascinating stuff on thoughts manifesting reality.. . .

We had a nice long visit with me standing there in the parking lot with the backpack on, waiting to get some groceries and his car motor still running, (sorry environment). I am also sorry I momentarily thought I was not up for running into him today for a visit. We both got a kick out of eachothers' thoughts being immersed in metaphysics, me on my iPod and he pushed play on the cd in his car, voila. Like minds. A coincidence? I think not. Wait, what am I thinking?

The next time you are 'triggered' and have a bad thought about a fellow being, just because you don't understand them, simply don't like them, or even if they have wronged you, stop and wait. Sending your negative energy will come back to you ten fold. Doing good will also come back to you tenfold! The Universe's laws are literal and simple and complex all at the same time. But pay attention to detail and your 'self' through daily practiced meditation and the universe will unfold the truth to you, in due time, patience, look and listen.

Searching YouTube under 'bad thoughts bad energy' I came across this gem:

I have entered the contest several times and then finally read the rules yesterday. . . .I needed to upload my before pic to qualify instead of just my profile pic. So, I missed out on the $1,000 entry yesterday and all those red Xs before meant nothing.
But today's red X for $300 should work, we'll see. WOWY is the only place I have my before pic posted. . . of this site, facebook, my blog and myfitnesspal.com. . . .I am shy/bites pinky. The last straw I needed to get the heck out of the black hole of my universe. Life's too short for such PETTY BS to get under my feathers and steel an ounce of my lovely energy. I'll be back to grace them with my presence, I have true friends there, but for now, KISS MY BEAUTIFUL ASS F'erz.

Yesterday a nice young lady deleted one of my posts but she was thoughtful enough and mature enough to send me a message to let me know her reasoning behind it. Although I don't agree with her, it was her facebook wall and she had every right to delete whatever she wanted and I see, from her side, what upset her. We exchanged a couple emails, I apologized for accidentally upsetting her, and that was the end of that.

There's another certain someone that, well, let's just say we are not on the same communication frequency as of late. Fine by me, I initiated the pull-back. But I, in my own humble-biased-prideful opinion, continued to be adult enough to recognize the full-grown-boy-child of his presence on this earth while we both were obviously on-line at times. I would comment on his posts once in a while, to continue to be a friend of sorts.

He, on the other hand had clearly dissed 99.9% of my posts and not even acknowledge when I would grace his wall. I gave it a few days, tried not to be a h.s. chic keeping mental score, but he still was dissing my FB. Fine. So I didn't even comment on any of his posts anymore, and I wasn't commenting on all of his anyway, just enough to let him know I am still alive. All along knowing I was the one that initiated the distance.

So, after about a day and a 1/2 of me ignoring the child, he pops up in chat, then an email, then a text on my cell phone. Ha, as in Seinfeld, I had 'hand' again, as in upper hand. I responded only briefly to the email and did not respond to my cell phone text and left it at that.

This afternoon, he posted something about Memorial Day BBQs and he had several commenter's on that thread, nice. One of his friends made some reference to George Bush needing strong sedatives, referring to his commonly known alcohol issues. So, immediately after that, after it clearly posted that it was GEORGE BUSH, I type "(namexxxx) are you going to do the 'Bush-glug-glug' at the bbq?" as in glugging beer is all I was thinking!!!! I was DELETED. Gimme a Break.

Still sensitive after yesterday's delete from the other nice lady. I look up to see if I have any message from him as an offering explanation, nothing. I see he's been on for quite a while, so I pop up a chat with him and leave it there during American Idol, ignored! LAME^%$#@!

All I can think after the fact, is that he must have thought I meant going down on some bush and he was being sensitive about his public wall. This is NOT THE FIRST TIME. This is the 3rd time he has waaaay over-reacted. At least the other 2 times he sent me a message or called me. This time I was blatantly ignored.

Life is too short. I'm outta FB for a while.
