The Atlanta Falcons are on their list as winning the NFC South in 2010. That's a big prediction since the reigning Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints are still in the division.

Strangely enough, after reading the whole thing, they don't give any concrete reason for their opinion. The positive signs are back to back winning seasons, the maturing of Matt Ryan, and the healthy return of Michael Turner. All valid items I'm sure. But somewhere along the way they should give specifics on how the Atlanta Falcons plan on knocking off the Saints.

I'm thing the Falcons will be a better team in 2010. Possibly good enough to win the division but certainly good enough to get into the playoffs. If Turner stays healthy, if the defense can stop a good passer, if the special teams can make some plays. The same ifs that face every NFL team out there.

The Steelers will almost certainly be without Big Ben for this one and maybe the next five games. The Atlanta Falcons, barring injury, will be at full strength and featuring Matt Ryan, one of the up and coming quarterbacks in the NFL.

For the Atlanta Falcons, overcoming a dissapointing 2009 is a must. yes, the Falcons did put together their first back to back winning seasons. But playoff expectations were high in 2009. getting back is also a must.

Matt Ryan returns after a solid 2009. 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions means he's on the right track. He should also benefit from a year of work with Tony Gonzales.

Michael Turner seems to be healthy after an injury ridden season in 2009. Also, having Jason Snelling there to spell him in games will help.

Roddy White had 85 catches and is expected to be a major force.

Make no mistake, the Steelers vs Falcons game is a winnable game for Atlanta. Kicking Pittsburgh while they're down would be a good way to set the tone for 2010. With the Saints expected to challenge for another Super Bowl, staying even with New Orleans is a must for the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons are battered and in disarray after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles. A season that began with such promise for Atlanta is now a struggle to survive.

There are good reasons for the Falcons struggle. With Matt Ryan out of the picture the onus falls on Chris Redman. While Redman did an excellent job against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his performance against the Eagles was less than spectacular.

Even worse, it seems like Falcons ticket holders don't have any faith in their team. The Georgia Dome was filled with cheers for Michael Vick. Fans fought to get out as Atlanta fell behind. The belief that the Falcons could pull off back to back winning seasons is gone with the wind. If the Atlanta Falcons don't suck it up and get mean, Saints vs Falcons tickets are the opening stage of a funeral procession for Atlanta Falcons 2009.

The Atlanta Falcons are at 6-5 and have little hope of catching the 11-0 New Orleans Saints. Therefore their race is now against teams like the New York Giants and yes, the Philadelphia Eagles. Make no mistake, this is an important game for both teams.

Unfortunately for the Falcons it looks like they could be trying to gain a playoff edge without Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. Ryan suffered a turf toe injury last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is out for an indeterminate time. Fortunately for the Falcons Chris Redman came in and led the team to a thrilling last minute win. While not as talented as Ryan, Redman has the ability to keep the offense from completely stalling. The big problem will be doing that without Michael Turner against a good Philadelphia Eagles defense.

From the Eagles standpoint things are looking up. Philadelphia has now won back to back games in a heroic fashion. Donovan McNabb seems to be driving this team through sheer force of will. While never a popular man in Philadelphia, the rest of the NFL knows that McNabb can carry the Eagles offense like nobody else.

Eagles vs Falcons tickets are a major NFL milestone in the 2009 season. Should Atlanta lose they face an uphill battle for the playoffs. The Eagles meanwhile, could put themselves in position knock the Dallas Cowboys out of the top spot in the NFC East. It's gonna be interesting.

The argument could be made that every game is crucial. But let's face it, there comes a time in any season when the win-loss record reaches a tipping point, a point of no return. Giants vs Falcons tickets offer the chance to see this in action.

The Falcons are in a precarious position. With the New Orleans Saints almost a lock for the NFC South title the Falcons are locked in on a shot at an NFL Wild Card spot. That means, first of all, handling the rest of the teams in the division as well as in the conference. This Giants and Falcons contest is only the first in a series. To make it even tougher, Atlanta is going to have to do it with an injured Michael Turner, who hurt his ankle in a tough loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Over the course of the next few weeks the Falcons will have to meet the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the division leading New Orleans Saints. It isn't going to be an easy trip, and the journey begins with Giants vs Falcons tickets.

This week's game in Atlanta should lighten the load on Atlanta Falcons fans. The Birds are coming off a tough loss to the New Orleans Saints, a loss that puts them 3 games behind New Orleans and makes an NFC South crown unlikely. But there are a lot of positives to come from the Falcons performance as Redskins vs Falcons looms in the next few weeks.

Atlanta played one heck of a game againts a good team. More importantly it looks like someone woke up Michael Turner and told him the season has started. Turner put up 150 yards in the game and looked like the running back he was last season. That should take the pressure off Matt Ryan and put it on the Redskins. What's more, the Falcons now know that they're playing for a Wild Card spoit and every game becomes important, providing motivation. A good game againts the Redskins could put the Falcons back on track as they move on to face the Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before a big game against the New England Patriots.

Atlanta will have to travel into the belly of the beast in the Superdome and face what may be the NFL's hottest team in the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons will have to do this after falling to a revived Dallas Cowboys squad that pretty much spanked them last week.

Suddenly Falcons ticket holders are wondering if the team they love has gotten weak. Matt Ryan is experiencing something of a sophomore slump and ace running back Michael Turner, who shocked the NFL last season, has been nowhere to be found. Even Tony Gonzales, who started out like a house afire, has been pretty quiet.

But all it takes is one big game to put you back in the running in the NFL and Falcons - Saints tickets might be the pass to that game for Atlanta. But it's going to take some doing. You can bet the Falcons coaching staff will be poring over the Saints vs Dolphins game to get a hint on how Miami kept New Orleans in check for an entire half of football. They'll also be sweating as they watch tape of the second half as the Saints scored 36 points to pull out an improbable win.

But you can throw records out the window. This Falcons vs Saints and what matters most is who wants it the most. The Falcons and Saints have been yanking the rug out from under each other for decades and 2009 is no different. Falcons vs Saints tickets? The NFL tickets of the week.

This contest sets up to be an important stepping stone for the Falcons trip to the playoffs. It's also an essential win if the Falcons want to stay within striking distance of the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South. With only a single loss on the Falcons record, and the Saints playing a tough Miami Dolphins team in Week 7, Atlanta could be primed for an advance in the division.

The Falcons are riding the momentum of a solid performance against the Chicago Bears in week 6. It seems as if the team is firing on all cylinders. Matt Ryan is still the linchpin, playing with consistency and using all his available weapons. If that continues, the Falcons offense could have a productive weak against a Cowboys secondary that has shown itself to be vulnerable.

From the Cowboys perspective Atlanta is a trap waiting to happen. Dallas is just not playing up to their reputation as a super Bowl contender. In fact, they may not be a playoff contender. The Cowboys haven't played well in any game this season and more and more are being perceived as a team on the downhill side. Tony Romo is being blasted on a daily basis and Wade Philips is on the bubble, although jerry jones recently gave him a vote of confidence.

Cowboys vs Falcons tickets look to be one of the key matchups in the NFc in NFL Week 7. The Falcons have a lot to gain and not much to lose in this game. For the Dallas Cowboys though, a loss to the Atlanta Falcons would be just one more dissapointment is what's turning out to be a tough season. A win could boost them back to respectability.

The Atlanta Falcons are riding high once again, coming off an impressive showing against a surprisingly good 49ers team. And it wasn't just a narrow win. The Falcons offense manhandled San Francisco's defense, a unit that was able to hold Minnesota in check for most of the game. Now it looks like they'll have a chance to go against a Bears defense that is one of the best in the league year after year.

The Chicago Bears are sitting at 3-1, second place in the NFC North. Jay Cutler appears to have found his groove in the Windy City, recovering from a jittery opening day game. The Bears defense could be stronger, with key players returning from injury after the bye week. They'll have their hands full with a Falcons offense that is as potent as any in the NFl.

This Bears - Falcons matchup could turn out to be a key factor in the playoff seedings. Neither team is in position to controil their fate, with the Vikings and Saints leading, but a win over another NFC team could mean the difference between getting that vital first playoff game at home or traveling to hostile territory.

The idea that Michael Crabtree could come in and have an impact on the value of 49ers vs Falcons tickets is minimal. It might be nice to hand on to those tickets stubs in the evnt he plays but that's about it. Crabtree has been holding out so long he's missed the whole pre-season and a quarter of the NFL regular season. He can't possibly know the plays and probably isn't in football shape to begin with.

No, these 49ers vs Falcons tickets will probably dish out a little comparison scale for how far the Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan have come. So far the Falcons offense has been rolling and Tony Gonzales appears to have been a perfect match. But the San Francisco 49ers are a team built of defense by Mike Singletary and so far in the 2009 NFL season it's working. despite a lackluster offense the 49ers are leading the NFC West and have only a narrow loss to a good Minnesota Vikings team to mar their record. For an avid NFl fan, these 49ers vs Buccaneers tickets should be fine way to gauge the playoff prospects of both teams.

The Falcons have had two weeks to think about a loss to the Patriots. The 49ers have had a week to think about a heartbreaking last minute loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Neither team is ready to hang it's head just yet and both should be ready and able to prove their mettle on Oct 11th.

For Falcons ticket holders that means seeing Matt Ryan get back to airing it out to Tony Gonzales and handing it off to a productive Michael Turner. Against New England Gonzales posted a single catch, Turner only 56 yards. Against the 49ers those numbers will have to improve.

The 49ers had a game in the bag against the Vikings, needing only a stop in a long possesion by Minnesota. It didn't happen. But tighten up on defense and San Francisco 49ers fans could see a team ready to step into the spotlight with a win over the Falcons. Shaun Hill has been playing well and Frank Gore is a beast on the ground. With two teams rebounding from haunting losses, 49ers vs Falcons tickets should be a test of determination for both teams.

Are the 49ers for real in 2009? It's a tantalizing question. The NFC West has been ripe for the taking. A strong performance by the 49ers to begin the season is turning heads. The Falcons are also off to a good start and may be better than the 11-5 team of 2008.

While the 49ers and Falcons may not be considered frontrunners by many, there's no doubt these two teams have what it takes to make the post-season and if they do, it can be their year to shock the NFL. The Falcons are working with a hot young QB and a monster running back. San Francisco is working mainly on the adrenalin of Mike Singletary and running of Frank Gore. Both could carry them to a winning season.

So while 49ers vs Falcons tickets haven't gotten much attention, they probably should have. For the 49ers, a win over the Falcons could be a springpad to a playoff spot. For the Falcons, topping one of the more improved teams in the NFL is a must if they want to keep the ball rolling in their conference.

The Atlanta Falcons are on a 2 game roll, having dusted off the Dolphins and Panthers to open the season. Right now, it looks like the Falcons have picked up where they left off in 2008. Matt Ryan has been cooly efficient. The running game is in good hands (or legs) with Michael Turner and Tight End Tony Gonzales is igniting Atlanta's passing game.

Is New England ready for the Falcons? Remnember, the Patriots barely escaped with a win in the opener against the Buffalo Bills, then got trounced by the Jets in Week 2. Are we witnessing the decline of New England and the Tom Brady era? Either the Falcons or Patriots will be exposed in some way or another this weekend. Certainly, catching the Patriots after a rare loss is probably not what the Falcons wanted. better to sneak up on them. Still, if Turner is churning and Gonzales keeps up the pace, this Falcons vs Patriots contest will be one of the better games in the NFL in Week 3.

Akin to last season's playoff loss, Jake Delhomme had five turnovers. Overall the Panthers committed seven, and then lost 2nd string QB Matt CCown to injury.

The Atlanta Falcons on the other hand, topped the Miami Dolphins 19-7, created turnovers, and introduced Tony Gonzales with a 5-catch, 1-TD performance. The win ties the Falcons with New Orleans for the NFC South lead.

If you're a Falcons fan, these Panthers vs Falcons tickets should have you licking your chops. The Falcons, at home, riding high, against what has to be a demoralized Panthers team. The setup is perfect, especially with the New Orleans Saints facing the Philadelphia Eagles. smells like an NFC South lead.

The North and West seem to be almost forgotten in the excitement generated by these games. The NFC South features three teams deemed to be playoff contenders, the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints. The NFC East boast the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys.

Based on a quick review of the national media, the Washington Redskins are the forgotten team of the NFC East. Few have picked them to be in the mix in December. But it would behoove us to look at the possible weaknesses of the other teams before counting them out. The Cowboys have big questions regarding team chemistry and possible loss of faith in ther coaches. The Giants have big doubts about their passing game without Plaxico. And the Eagles are known to be uneven from year to year. That leaves the Washington Redskins to be another NFL surprise like they were in the first part of 2008 before collapsing. It bears watching.

Both the Falcons and the Eagles have every right to be hopeful of a playoff spot in 2009. The Falcons got there in 2008, with rookie quarterback Matt Ryan. The Eagles appeared under venerable QB Donovan McNabb. Looking at this matchup from the pre-season, I'm thinking it has big time playoff implications.

We'll examine it with more detail later in the season, and certainly with more information on bothe the Eagles and Falcons. From this perspective though, I can see the Eagles battling the Giants and Cowboys in a close race in the NFC East. I can also see the Falcons in a tight contest with the Saints and Panthers in the NFC South.

So both the Eagles and the Falcons would be coming into this game with a "must win" attitude and that's the element that makes NFL games great. If you're looking to be at an important, season changing game, Eagles vs Falcons tickets could be the right choice.

But remember, this is the NFC South, where no member has won consecutive title in over a decade, and today's winner is tomorrow's meat. The Alanta Falcons underwent a marvelous reconstruction in a remarkably short time, posting an 11-5 record in 2008. Falcons ticket holders have high expectations of another playoff spot and maybe even a Super Bowl if the cards are right.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers collapsed in 2008, booted Jon Gruden, and now have a sense of dissaray about them, having dumped their offensive co-ordinator just prior to the season starting. With everything stacked against them, they're just the kind of team to come in and wreak havoc on an NFC South opponents plans. That's just the way it's been in this division.

Realistically, Bucs vs Falcons looks like a laugher. Atlanta at full strength should roll over the Buccaneers. Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, and Roddy White should have a field day with a new Buccaneers secondary still learning a new system. If everything was played on paper, and NFl rivalries didn't count for anything, bank on Atlanta. But in this league and especially this division, Falcons vs Buccaneers is far from a sure win for Atlanta.

The Atlanta Falcons are one of the rising stars in both the NFC South and the NFC in general while the Washington Redskins appear to be trying to find their way home. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder is prone to throwing money at problems while the Falcons have gone the other way, carefully selecting both talent and character to build for the long term.

When the Redskins line up against the Falcons in the Georgia Dome, they'll be bring in some high priced talent. Most notable is Albert Haynesworth, who signed a megadeal to strengthen the Redskins defensive line. Otherwise Washington has toed the line, keeping intact a roster that finished 8-8 last season. Look for QB Jason Campbell though, to be a spark plug waiting to go off. Campbell is in the final year of his contract and carrying a chip on his shoulder. Wide receiver Santana Moss remains the mainstay of this passing game, and Falcons defensive backs will have to keep him in check. The Falcons D-line and linebackers will have to deal with Clinton Portis, a bruising runner who still has some gas in the tank.

But Falcons ticket holders will be at the Redskins game to see their Wunderkind Matt Ryan, battering ram Michael Turner, and newly signed Pro Bowl Tight End Tony Gonzales make mincemeat out of a Redskins defense that has suffered some sever blows in the last few years. While the signing of Haynesworth probably boosted the rush, serious problems remain in the secondary where teams found success with the long ball in 2008.

My take? Get ready for the Redskins vs Falcons game to be a re-affirmation of the Falcons ascendancy in the NFC. Atlanta may not surprise anyone as they did last season, and the Falcons have one mean slate of games. But they're fundamentally better then the Washington Redskins and running on a much more even keel. Barring major injuries, the Falcons topping the Redskins is a done deal.

The Falcons have a pretty tough schedule, facing the Dolphins, Panthers, and Patriots the first three weeks. getting through that even 2-1 would be a pretty good start. A West Coast trip to face the 49ers leaves the bears and Falcons matching up in Mid-October, when the weather is getting cool and the NFL is starting to burn. Nobody wants to get left behind.

The Chicago Bears will bring Jay Cutler and Matt Forte. The Falcons will bring Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. Atlanta likes a big pass rush from the D-Line, especially, John Abraham. Chicago wants linebackers Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher in on every play. But both the Falcons and Bears have some unanswered questions in 2009:

Can Matt Ryan duplicate or even improve on his rookie performance?
Will Tight End Tony Gonzales take the onus off Michael Turner, give the offense more options, and improve the running and passing game?
Can the youngsters on the Falcons defense step up and improve on the play of the veterans they've replaced?
Can Jay Cutler be the man to make the Chicago Bears Super Bowl worthy?
Is Matt Forte durable enough to be involved in all phases of the offense as he was last season?
Does the famed Bears defense still have it's punch?

Maybe this Bears vs Falcons tickets won't answer all these questions. But it will give Atlanta football fans a great chance to catch a quality game that could very well have an impact on playoff spots come Christmas tiome. Enjoy.

Let's face it, the Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints, will probably spend most of 2009 beating each other to death. This Panthers and Falcons matchup is no different.

The Panthers will come into the Georgia Dome looking to pound the rock, using DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart as battering rams while hoping Steve Smith can provide some oomph through the air. The Falcons will answer defensively with a heavy reliance on Peria Jerry and hopefully better production from DT Trey Lewis. John Abraham and rookie Lawrence Sidbury will have to keep the Panthers passing game in a hurry up mode.

But what Falcons tickets holders want to see is on the other side of the ball. Matt Ryan feeding the ball to Michael Turner to keep the rush in check, and using opportune passing to new Tight End Tony Gonzales and the red hot Roddy White for the big hit. It's a pretty exciting time for Atlanta football fans as the Falcons try to do what they've never done before, which is have back to back winning seasons. This Panthers and Falcons matchup should be a classic.

I would love to predict what the Falcons are going to do, but the whole NFC South has me baffled. The Falcons will be playing one exceedingly tough schedule, and it's going to take everything they've got, with a little luck in the injury department, to be there at the end. This Dolphins-Falcons matchup is just the beginning so let's take that on first.

The Miami Dolphins will throwing a running game at the Falcons. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams cpmbined for almost 1,600 yards last season. To stop it, the Falcons will be using a defensive line that's banking on rookie Paria Jerry providing a push, along with veteran John Abraham, and Jamaal Anderson. While still an unknown odds are that this will be a tough unit to run against. But Atlanta is also going to be starting a new pair of linebackers and the jury is still out on these guys.

Taking advantage of that will be up to the Dolphins quarterback. Right now that looks like Chad Pennington again, a veteran that can slice and dice an inexperienced unit. And the Falcons are very young in the secondary after losing Lawyer Milloy and Dominique Foxworth.

To be effective against the Dolphins, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will have to play as well as he did in his rookie season. No sophomore slump allowed here. Having Michael Turner is a huge plus, and now with Tony Gonzales, Ryan has anothet weapon to keep opposing defenses on their toes.

I fully expect this Dolphins vs Falcons game to go down to the wire. Opening day games tend to reveal a lot and pre-season doesn't reveal anything that isn't glaringl;y obvious anyway. The dege here goes to the Falcons, playing at home and riding high on the legs of Michael Turner.

The Falcons have progressed from a team in total disarray, heartless, and wandering in a football desert, to one of the stronger teams in the NFC. And they've done it all in one season. Now comes the hard part: Proving it wasn't a fluke. Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith will be relying on an experienced coaching staff to keep this train moving, but it's the smattering of young players now on the Atlanta roster that will be shoveling the coal.

But don't think this thing is going to be easy. Replicating an 11-5 record will be a major feat, if not a downright miracle. For Falcons fans though, the menu of Falcons tickets available in 2009 simply can't be beat anywhere else in the NFL. Here's a look:

Dolphins vs Falcons Tickets - This Week 1 matchup pits two teams that exploded on the NFl in 2008. The Falcons did it with Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. The Miami Dolphins did it with Chad Pennington, Ronnie Brown, and Ricky Williams. Both still have something to prove.

Panthers vs Falcons Tickets - The Falcons finished second to the Panthers in the NFC South last season. Meeting in Week 2 will set the tone for the NFC South Divisional battle between these two and the New Orleans Saints.

Falcons at Patriots Tickets - There probably is no sterner test of the Falcons mettle that this Week 3 competition against the Patriots in their home stadium. Look for plenty of Michael Turner, as Atlanta looks to keep the ball away from the Brady Bunch. A win here is huge.

Falcons at 49ers Tickets - While some think this could be a breather, I'm looking for San Francisco to be much more physical in 2009. he Falcons will get beat on all day, but should prevail in a close game.

Chicago Bears vs Atlanta Falcons Tickets - Jay Cutler and Co. come calling. Football experts are calling for the Bears to be formidable and much more potent offensively with Jay Cutler. Matt Ryan, bolstered by the pounding of Michael Turner, should find some daylight in what I think is a questionable Bears secondary.

Falcons at Cowboys Tickets - Will or won't the Dallas Cowboys revive their swagger. Dallas is a book waiting to be written. They'll either rise or fall drastically in 2009 and there's no going back. The Atlanta Falcons could be the team to drive a stake through their hearts with a possession offense and a young, hard hitting defense.

These are the first six games. Check back later for the rest of the season. But as you can easily see, Atlanta Falcons tickets, with a full slate of NFC South Divisional Games and an NFC East lineup, plus the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, has a gruesome schedule that will make or break the Falcons.
