I like how you open with a regular first person shooter that the reader can picture, then transition into the “real” shooter. It makes it easier to picture. Too bad those kinds of games give me vertigo…

just a shame that the movies have fallen into the same routine as the comics did, for every great story there is a few really poor ones.

hopefully if/when first class gets a sequal it keeps up the quality (and director). maybe the comics could learn something.

BTW i would sooner pay 10 bucks to see the wolverine cameo from FC than see the actual wolverine movie

Yes! That is the “madness” I was referring to. Couldn’t agree more. Outlets should be competing on price, not on imaginary value adds.

Figured I would add to what dejimus has said about amazon pre-orders. Adding pre-order incentives isn’t so much to get you to pre-order the game, but I feel it is more for the retailer to encourage sales at their store intead of Gamestop. What concerns me more than anything is the recent trend of adding exclusive DLC or extras if you pre-order from a specific retailer. Gamestop did this with Gears of War 3. If you pre-ordered from them then you can play in the beta.

Pre-ordering is not what it use to be and it may start to keep content out of our hands or it may force us to the dark side.
