Message from Pastor Sam:

God spoke to me something that seems to be very short notice for we who like to plan in advance!  However, that is the way it seems to have happened.  Not long range planning, just GOD SPEAKING AND DIRECTING!

He told me to have Vivien Hibbert come. She is a minister who walks in an incredible anointing that “ushers in the presence of God”!  Many of you experienced this at one of our recent Summit Conferences.  It was an “Outstanding visitation from heaven”!

God told me to invite her to come to begin our University and School year by imparting that very special anointing of God that so touches and changes lives!

THE ATMOSPHERE AROUND US WILL BE CHANGED AND HIS GLORY WILL BE MANIFESTED UPON ALL WHO ARE PRESENT!

You and your family will be changed as the atmosphere is INVADED BY HIM!

This coming Friday, August 25 at 7:00 PM at the Family of Faith is the time of encounter with God!  She will have already done two chapel services for our students.  The atmosphere will be filled with the Glory of His Presence!

She will also be with us for our regular Sunday morning service at 10:30 AM so expect great things. Please come and receive what is God’s special touch for this season and hour in His Kingdom!  This is THE SEASON OF THE MASTER’S TOUCH!

Family of Faith Christian University is fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ and being faithful to the mandates given to us!

All Nations College is a newly formed program which is functioning as a school of ministry under FFCU. This comes about through a partnership with my friend Dr. Tim Johns, his great leadership team, and the RockTribe of churches. His programs add so much to our broadening additional church planting and church growth understandings from a great apostolic group.

The Global Awakening Theological Seminary is expanding in phenomenal ways in spiritual, academic, and numerical increase! Wow, what a great group of students we have! I had so much fun and received so many blessings experiencing the class which I taught this semester. Hungry people totally sold out to Jesus!

As you probably know, the Seminary came into being with God uniting Dr. Randy Clark and Global Awakening with us to fulfill the vision that God gave to Dr. Randy Clark and me (Dr. Sam Matthews). This partnership has brought into being a spiritual dynamic that is destined to bring a maturity to multitudes of God’s great ministries around the globe!

Thanks for believing in us and with us these past years! Thanks for believing for the future years!

Phenomenal growth is happening as God is uniting ministries around the earth to gather people to “show themselves approved…workmen who are not ashamed of the gospel.” FILLED WITH THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD, EMPOWERED BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT!

]]> 1937 January Daniel Fast https://myfamilyoffaith.com/january-daniel-fast/ Mon, 09 Jan 2017 20:20:22 +0000 https://myfamilyoffaith.com/?p=1907 Daniel is indeed one of the great servants of our God!  His life was exemplary of love, commitment, and discipline before His God.  His love for God was measured out in a life of prayer and fasting, which allowed him to live a life of intimacy/communication with the Holy God!  He received visitations, visions, deliverances, and revelations of God’s great Kingdom victories!  
 
That same intimacy, power, and revelation, is what God is wanting for each of us!  Ministries around the world are entering into 21 days of prayer and fasting.  God is challenging us to enter into the “Daniel Fast” (Daniel chapters 1 and 10) and join with millions reaching up to touch “The Throne of God.” 
 
We will start on Monday, January 9 and end on Sunday, January 29.  A very thorough explanation of the spiritual and physical benefits of fasting can be found here:

HE IS INTERCEDING WITH THESE VERY WORDS…EVEN AS WE READ THESE WORDS!   It is my prayer that you not only read these words, but that you hear the voice of Jesus speak them into your spirit, soul, and body!

We are now in the time of the Jewish Passover celebrations, Friday April 22 – Saturday April 30, 2016.  We remember the great deliverance of the Hebrews from Egypt and how God covered them with the blood of the lamb.  (Exodus 12-13)

We know that God fulfilled this great feast with Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.  He lived, died, was resurrected, and has ascended to the right hand of God!  HE IS ALIVE!  (Luke 23-24)
Fifty days after Passover, the Hebrews arrived at Mt. Sinai and God gave them the Ten Commandments and was further bringing His nation into existence.  This was the first Pentecost and God established it as a feast.   (Exodus 19-20)
Read these passages and see the majesty, power, might, and awesomeness that God displayed in this event.
Fifty days after Jesus’ last Passover with His disciples, and having appeared to them for forty days and then ascended to the Father, God began pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh to fulfill Joel’s prophecy recorded in Joel 2:28-32.  Pentecost had now been fulfilled with the Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit.  (Acts 2:1-4)
The promise was fulfilled with a “violent rushing wind with tongues of fire”!  Days of glory with “wind and fire”…the breath of the Spirit and the fire of the Spirit!
Fifty days from Sunday April 24 will be Pentecost (June 11-13, 2016) and we can receive the promised blessing of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon all flesh.  We can expect the glory that comes with “the wind and fire of the Spirit”!

God is wanting and bringing to pass the maturation and perfection of His people by giving them the treasure of His son Jesus!   He declares that “Christ in us…the hope of glory” is what will bring to pass “every man complete in Christ”!
(Col. 1:27-29; 4:2-6)
POSITIONING TO RECEIVE THE PROMISES
From the 22nd of April to June 12 will be fifty days.  Pentecost blessings will be poured out!  God began to reveal to me that we have FIFTY DAYS TO GLORY: WIND AND FIRE!
He has given me some very detailed instructions of how we are to pray and declare each day until Pentecost!  He is longing to move us from “Glory to Glory” during these days.  The great harvest of the the nations…our nation included…is that which burns in the heart of Jesus!  He will change us as we follow these steps!
FIRST STEP:  60 second prayers over each passage.
Releasing faith into and with each declaration of His Word!
Takes 30 minutes since there are 30 scriptures.  These are scriptures which God has been giving us over these past weeks.
SECOND STEP:
Pray in The Spirit/in tongues for 30 minutes for the Holy Spirit to release these truths into and through our spirits and minds.
This is one hour of declaration and prayer that will change us further into the “image of Jesus”!  Ask for the truths in each verse to be manifested in your life!  Declare that they are manifested and being perfected in you!  Praise and thank Him that they are alive in and through you!  The word of God is living and active and sharper then any two edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Release faith in the living and transforming power of His presence!

When: June 15-19 (Meet at 8am on the 15th. Back by 4:30pm on the 19th)

Where: Camp Windermere (Roach, MO)

How Much: $280 (plus money for a fastfood lunch stop to and from the camp)

What to bring: Bible, a notebook, bedding (either twin sheets and a blanket or a sleeping bag), casual clothes for 5 days (church camp appropriate, that means no booty shorts fellas), a couple pair of clothes to get messy in during Team Games, swimsuit (ladies must have either a one-piece or wear shorts and a tank top with their swimsuit), sunscreen, 2 towels (one for swimming and one for showers), toiletries, and money for 2 meals (lunch on the way there and back).

***PLEASE PACK LIGHTLY! NO MORE THAN 1 DUFFLE BAG OR SUITCASE PER CAMPER AND YOUR BEDDING***

What not to bring: Laptops, pocket knives, lighters, permanent markers. Electronics such as cell phones and mp3 players are allowed to and from camp but once there they will be confiscated by the Youth Pastors until camp is over. If a camper needs to call home at the end of the night that will be permitted but only calls to parents or guardians.

Optional: Money for snacks (the campgrounds has a concession stand/smoothie shack), flashlights, cameras.

Camp Forms: All camp forms are available on the main youth page (www.redes.mystagingwebsite.com/illuminate) or at the bottom of this page. Please note that there are 3 forms. One form is for ICLC, one is for Windermere general purposes, and one is a special release form that allows your camper to participate in the camp grounds newest addition of a paintball course and ropes course. The last form is optional.

Youth Camp is always a powerful and intimate time getting to know the Father’s heart, not just individually but as a generation.  While we do have a blast playing games, and being silly in skits, our real purpose in going is to grow as young men and women in God.  If you’re hungry for something more, ICLC Youth Camp is for you.
