One strategy that can separate the savvy managers from the rest is the concept of "sell high" options. Selling high in fantasy football involves trading or transferring players whose current performance has exceeded expectations, capitalizing on their peak value. This strategic move allows fantasy managers to optimize their roster's potential and secure valuable assets for the long term, ultimately enhancing their chances of championship glory.

Top 5 Sell High Options

Mike Evans (WR/TB): After 2 weeks of great production against the easiest defenses he's going to face all season. Evans fantasy output is going to take a tole and you should sell high while you can.

Drake London (WR/ATL): London has impressive numbers over the last 2 weeks especially while being in Atlanta. But Atlanta is a run first offense and London's consistency is going be affected because of that.

D'andre Swift (RB/PHI): Swift proved himself as a great RB1 against Minnesota but with Kenneth Gainwell coming back week 3, Philly is going to go back to a committee and Swifts touches and snaps will decrease.

Christian Kirk (WR/JAX): As much of a fan I am of Christian Kirk, his consistency is going to suffer due to competition in the WR room and I would sell high after his performance in week 2.

Mike Williams (WR/LAC): Williams had a good week 2 but it is known that while Austin Ekeler is out, Williams excels. With Ekeler most likely coming back next week, William's won't get as many touchdown looks or targets.

They aren't supposed to be fantasy stars but could produce great numbers over this fantasy season and those to come.

Top 5 Waiver Wire WR's for Week 2

Puka Nacua (77% Rostered/LAR): Nacua had a flashy week one with 15 targets, 10 receptions, and a staggering 119 yards. With Cooper Cupp not having a timetable for return, Nacua could have a heavy workload over the next few weeks.

Tutu Atwell (52% Rostered/LAR): Tutu, similar to Nacua benefited from Cupp's absence with a 6-reception and 119-yard day. Tutu could hold value as a low-end flex for upcoming weeks.

Rashid Shaheed (78% Rostered/NO): If this guy is on waivers in your league, GET HIM. He seems to be one of Carr's favorite targets and his production shows that. He racked up 86 receiving yards, 110 punt return yards, 5 receptions, and a TD. The Saints have utilized him as a trick play specialized and he has huge upside for the future of this season.

Kendrick Bourne (32% Rostered/NE): Bourne found the endzone twice on Sunday against Philly. If Mac Jones continues to produce good numbers Bourne's output will reflect that.

Josh Reynolds (39% Rostered/DET): With Jameson Williams suspended, Reynolds has huge upside this season and showed that against the Chiefs, with 4 receptions for 80 yards.

In fantasy football, scouring the waiver wire for wide receivers can be a game-changer. These hidden gems can turn the tide of your season, offering depth and potential breakout performances. Whether due to injuries or emerging talents, the waiver wire remains a critical resource for savvy managers. Keep a watchful eye, trust your research, and strike when opportunity knocks – because in the unpredictable world of fantasy football, that late-season waiver wire addition could be your new WR1.

Top 15 Waiver Wire Pickups

Puka Nacua (WR/LAR): With Cupp out, it seemed the whole rams WR room flourished. A standout though was the rookie Puka Nacua with 15 targets, 10 receptions, and 119 yards.

Kyren Williams (RB/LAR): Williams stepped up when Cam Akers couldn't in their dominant win against Seattle on Sunday. Williams ended with 2 touchdowns and 52 yards on the day, while Akers only had 29 yards on 22 carries (1.32 YPC).

Gus Edwards (RB/BAL): Edwards served as the backup in Baltimore but now with J.K Dobbins out for the year he could serve value in 12+ team leagues.

Justice Hill (RB/ BAL): Hill scored twice in week 1 with J.K. Dobbins out. Dobbins being out the rest of the year, with a torn achilleas. Hill will have a larger role and could serve as a viable option in 12+ team leagues.

Tutu Atwell (WR/LAR): Tutu was another Ram WR that prospered in Cupp's absence, catching 6 passes for 119 yards.

Joshua Kelley (RB/ LAC): Kelley started off his season with 91 yards on 16 carries (5.69 YPC) and a touchdown. He could continue to find value behind Austin Ekeler and the explosive charger offense.

Hunter Henry (TE/NE): Henry had a great night with 5 receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Hayden Hurst (TE/CAR): Hurst hauled in 5 receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown in week one and prevailed as Bryce Young's favorite target.

Kendrick Bourne (WR/ NE): Bourne had an outstanding showing against Philadelphia, with 64 yards on 6 receptions and 2 touchdowns.

Rashid Shaheed (WR/NO): Shaheed caught 5 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 11 yards on 2 carries. He seems to be a trick play specialist for NO and shows value for proceeding weeks.

Adam Trautman (TE/DEN): With starter Greg Dulcich out, Adam Trautman showed promising results having 5 receptions for 34 yards and shows as one of Russell Wilson's favorite targets.

Donald Parham (TE/LAC): Parham with 3 receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown could show value if Gerald Everett continues to have a lack of performance.

Zack Moss (RB/IND): With Deon Jackson and Evan Hull having an awful performance against Jacksonville, Moss is expected to come in week 2 and take over that RB1 job.

Allen Robinson (WR/PIT): Robinson made flashes of his former self against the 49ers Sunday. With Diontae Johnson exiting the game at the start of the 3rd quarter, Robinson took over and hauled in 5 receptions for 64 yards.

Logan Thomas (TE/WAS): Thomas had a solid performance with 4 receptions for 43 yards. He serves as a low-end TE1 for upcoming weeks and has touchdown upside.
