The second part of the incredible journey the Fantragic team are taking through over 40 years of Star Trek in its many flavours and forms.

Last time, on Fantragic, we left you with Spock being grateful (in his own reserved way) to McCoy for hanging on to his mantra for him.

This time we move beyond such shenanigans and move onto whales, bald men, trekless-Treks and wise word whilst making toast.

It's been a wonderful ride so far, continue with us as we punch up to Warp Factor 5 (we didn't have authorisation from Starfleet to exceed that speed, sorry) and continue our look at Star Trek.
The second part to our marathon session that began with ep #81 (released last fortnight!).

We continue on and delve into our Doctor Who dump - this time its the Pertwee classic Mind of Evil.

A classic spy thriller is our Nether Region pick for this fortnight - the original Manchurian Candidate.

We put our nostalgia hats on and have a natter about our favourite Cold War films.
The boys are in review mode this fortnight as they tackle the recent release of the Doctor Who stories The Romans and the Rescue on shiny DVD. See what the caravan consensus is on Doctor Who in the days before the sonic screwdriver.

We also tackle the end of Battlestar Galactica, and try and find out in sentences of 15,000 words or less just what the hell that ending was all about. Allusions to scrabble, unlikely angels and telekinesis abound!

This is the first part of a massive recording session we undertook, which was originally to include even more podcasting goodness. The decision was made to split it up into two podcasts, the second of which will reach your ears in a fortnight's time.
What was meant to be a deep and meaningful podcast about the galaxies political structures turned into a podcast devoted to the team catching up on their reviewing - we look at the movie Watchmen, have a look at the Doctor Who ESpace DVD release and review a classic Doctor Who story - Monster of Peladon.
Dopplegangers, doubles, duplicates, copies, twins and mates. It's all about the facsimile here at the Fantragic podcast this time.

The team of Trevor, Trevor, David, David, David, David, Geoff, Geoff, Tony and Tony talk about a Doctor Who story with a shapeshifting menace - Horror of Fang Rock.

Our Nether Regions take a deep probing as we revisit one of the grandaddies of the genre, Blade Runner.

We also find time to cover the new releases, and talk about some famous instances of duplicity in tv and film.
Fantragic Podcast #77 - a podcast so good that Trevor had to edit it twice!

You might notice new music and bumpers in this episode - pay them no heed - Trevor's poor computer is in the repair shop at the moment, necessitating new music and bumpers to be used until it comes back.

In this episode, we look at the classic Doctor Who story, The Time Meddler.

We delve into classic Australian sci-fi with one of the grandaddies - Mad Max 2, or depending on where you live, The Road Warrior.

Just why do we stick with some shows way past their use-by date? The Fantragic team ponder this perplexing riddle and try and figure out an answer.

Along with all the latest in DVD and film releases, its another superb episode.

And we promise #78 won't take as long to appear .
Not really sure how to describe this one. The podcast gets a bit derailed once David relates an off-colour anecdote about Frank Thring, and the show never really recovers after that.

But we tried, oh we tried. In this podcast we have a belated talk about the latest entry in the Bond franchise, Quantum of Solace.

Our Nether Regions are well and truly ravaged as we cover one of the original scare-shows, Nightmare on Elm Street (more commonly known as the one with Johnny Depp in it).

The visit to the world of TARDIS's, time travel and green scary monsters see us covering a story which has nearly all these elements - Nightmare from Eden.

We also try and cover some nightmare film shoots - the horror stories you hear about when a film is in production - deaths, natural disasters and so forth.

Frank Thring - he ain't no porn star.
Survival. That's what this one is all about.

Our Doctor Who Dump. It's on the story Survival.

The Nether Region - surviving on an alien planet - Enemy Mine.

The discussion - What TV shows have surprised us with their survival?

Brevity is the word for these shownotes, but you will find no such brevity in a jam-packed, bacon filled, hot of the griddle podcast.
Before the Fantragic caravan closes down for the Christmas season the boys wanted to have a bit of a natter about Doctor Who.

The Trial of a Timelord DVD boxset got us thinking about the whole hiatus, and the end of the show after Season 26.

In this episode the Fantragic team ruminate on these issues and more as we try and come to terms with the whole sorry mess that was 1985 - 1989.

There is certainly plenty of food for thought in this episode, and its our gift to you this festive season. Enjoy!
We visit the land of kilts in this episode of the Fantragic podcast, and take a short stop by stop motion animation along the way.

Our Nether Regions cover that most scottish of films, Highlander, with a Scotsman who isn't a Scotsman, a european who isn't a European, but a director who is happy to be called Australian.

The Doctor Who Dump ventures further into Scotland, with that most excellent of Tom Baker stories, Terror of the Zygons.

And in tribute to the use of stop motion animation in this 70s tale, Tony takes us through the once common art of producing animated beasties. Now lost to the button pushers and their computers, stop motion animation though still has its place in a modern special effects world.

But we know him as The Devil. Mr Devil to his friends.

Podcast #72 delves into all things dark and malovent, as we look at the ultimate evil. The creature who suddenly turns up when man strays from the path of good.

Our Nether Regions are suitable demonic, as we look at The Exorcist.

The Doctor Who Dump delves into the appearance of the devil in the series, The Satan Pit.

The team has a discussion about representations of the devil in tv and film, and looks at the different ways the horned one is portrayed.
Back again for another fortnightly dose of all things Fantragic, episode 71 looks at the classic double act in genre tv and film.

Our Nether Regions tackles one of the most famous pairings in sci-fi history, Mulder and Scully and their X-Files - we take a look at the TV series and movies and try and get to the bottom of this most unlikely of pairings.

We continue our talk on Double Acts and discuss famous examples from a whole range of sci-fi shows. Did we miss any - let us know at feedback@thewhocast.com.

Keeping with the duality, The Ribos Operation is the attention of our Doctor Who Dump - a fourth Doctor story replete with some very interesting double acts.

All feedback welcome and appreciated - send it in to feedback@thewhocast.com.
As well as being the team's resident expert on all things dinosaur, Tony is quite an accomplished swot to do with the ultimate neck biter and defiler of virgins - Dracula.

The Fantragic team go into Oeuvre mode this episode and we talk about all things to do with one of the ultimate horror figures in history. And what a better time of year to do it than Halloween.

From its beginning of a humble novel to its current incarnations as big screen triumphs the Fantragic's Across the Oeuvre look at Dracula is an exhaustive history of the winged one.
