Representatives of the Columbiana County, Ashtabula County and Carroll County Junior Fair Boards traveled together on a bus to the Ohio Fair Manager’s Convention in Columbus on January 5, 2010. Columbiana County sent 13 youth, Carroll County sent 6 representatives and Ashtabula had 8 for a total of 27 youth plus advisors.
The youth spent the day listening to a key note speaker, visiting the trade show and attending break out sessions on topics related to the running of the Junior Fair. This gives junior fair board members the opportunity to see how other fairs across the state handle their junior fair business and learn from each other.
