आजकल सांस बहुत फूल रही है।

थोड़ी दूर भी नहीं चल पाता हूं।

भूख भी नहीं लग रही है।

बहुत बोझ है हमारे सिर पर।

Holding Back

When I first started this blog, I thought that I would have so much to write, that I won't have time to do anything else. But I've found that I am still holding back....don't know why. Maybe because after reading several blogs avidly for the past month, I have found that I have come to know the people who write in them so well......maybe more than if I knew them in person. I feel that writing your thoughts, your beliefs, excerpts from your daily life for people to read may paint a clearer picture of who you really are, than interacting with co-workers, or with family members you have hardly anything in common with. It's strange, but writing actually does that. Maybe we're more open when we write, or maybe we can express ourselves more through written words than spoken ones. Or maybe we're just braver when we're hiding in cyberspace. Or maybe it's just me........

Or maybe it's because I haven't really determined the identity of my blog. I mean, will I write anything that comes to mind?? Will I talk about my life?? Will I express my political, social, cultural and personal views....or will it be a combination of all....I guess so far it's a combination.......I guess I'll stick with combination......anyway, we'll see.

I'm actually feeling better now ........I think I like blogging ;)

मिटटी था किसने चाक पे रख कर घुमा दिया
वह कौन हाथ थे कि जो चाहा बना दिया

जो अब तलक छुपाती थी कमरे की रोशनी
रस्तों की तीरगी ने वोह सब कुछ दिखा दिया

परियों के देस वाली कहानी भी ख़ूब थी
बच्चों को जिसने फिर यूं ही भुखा सुला दिया

अब और क्या तलाश है क्यूं दीदारेज़ हो
मिटटी में बस वही था जो तुमने उगा दिया

कुछ अज़दहे से रेत पे कुछ बंद सीपियां
साहिल को लौटती हुई लहरों ने क्या दिया

लाखों लोग मुझे जानते हैं पर फिर भी मैं किसी को नहीं जानता।
अरबों रूपए इन हाथों से खर्च कर चुका हूं पर मेरे पास एक पैसा भी नहीं है।
अनगिनत लोगों का घर बसा चुका हूं मैं, पर मेरा तो अपना कोई ठिकाना ही नहीं है।
कितने हैं ऐसे जिनका कैरियर बना चुका हूं, पर मैं खुद बेरोजगार हूं।
60 साल की उम्र हो चली है और नौकरी तलाश रहा हूं।
