Her knit ruched sheath dress features a sweetheart neckline, half sleeves, and a fitted silhouette.

Her calfskin bag is covered in a lovely heart print, boasting nappa leather top handles, drawstring, and trim.

Last, but not least are her animal print sandals which feature a t-strap silhouette and black leather strap detailing.

Katie Eary‘s a label that’s been rubbing at the napes of several necks in hip hop these days. Self-proclaimed cultural overlord Kanye West is a fan, and has outfitted several members of his G.O.O.D. Music tribe in her fare. Rihanna, Jaden Smith, Rita Ora– all have shown her line some love. But this season, Eary claps back with a men’s offering that seems pointedly less of an ocular treat than usual.

For Spring, Eary sticks to classic men’s silhouettes, interpreting them in tequila sunrise-hued gradients and camo and animal patterns. From prim polos to straight leg cargo trousers– all boast her unapologetic prints. The designer adds a spoonful of camp: an image of a flamingo sporting a bubblegum pink bob. She plasters it on t-shirts, and reworks the image into patterns rendering it less recognizable.

Eary gave the ladies a treat, a series of printed bikinis and cover-ups, presumably an attempt at women’s resort wear.

I’m a huge fan of Eary’s, but I can’t help but feel this collection lacks the unique quality she usually delivers. Animal prints in shocking bright hues? It’s a motif we often see, and I would like for her to have taken it a step further. Still, it’s a crowd pleaser for those fellas who prefer a more flamboyant look. I imagine several of the aforementioned celebrities would be happy to be seen in any of the pieces shown.

He decided to go grass roots. Taking cues from hip-hop mixtape culture and the indie DIY tradition, he self-released a three-EP series called Art Dealer Chic, unveiling some of the music that would later be featured on Kaleidoscope Dream, including “Adorn,” which he recorded in his bedroom. “If you look at art dealers historically, they were kind of in control of what was making an impact culturally,” he says about the project. “This was my own anti-establishment way of saying, ‘F*ck you, I am my own business. I decide what is good and what is not,’” he says. “I wanted to reconnect to my peers, the people that I hang out with, the ones that go to the same bars, listen to the same music, look at the same blogs, will be at that art gallery, will be at that show. Those people, the ones that I wasn’t touching before, finally I had their attention.” The EP series, the second batch of which will start coming out in July, did help him connect with the indie set, who were, lucky for him, high on other avant-R&B artists like Frank Ocean and The Weeknd at the time. Art Dealer Chic also scored Miguel the brass ring of the indie industry — a positive review on Pitchfork. “It’s like a love-hate relationship,” he says of the music journalists who have both exalted him and dismissed him as R&B schlock. “It’s like they’re kind of f*cking with me, but kind of not.” (Pitchfork’s review of Kaleidoscope Dream coolly called Miguel’s lyrics “the stuff of unbearable rom-com montages,” though the album scored a rating of 8.4 out of 10.)”

• Jonathan Cheban and Scott Disick star in a short film for Kanye West’s “Yeezus” album, and it is either extremely bizarre, or too nuanced for non-creative genius types to understand. I’m going to go with the former option. The video features a raving Disick, who after rattling off facts about Mr. West and his new album, proceeds to hack poor Cheban to bits with an axe.

• If you thought you hated your job, at least you’re not a fashion worker. A study done by 24 Seven, an NYC-based recruitment firm, says that out of 1,300 people who work in the fashion and retail industries surveyed, 48% are satisfied with their current jobs. Only 14% are highly satisfied in their positions, and over 86% are actively looking or open to changing jobs within the next year. Experts attribute this dissatisfaction with the growing prevalence of e-commerce, which according to 24 Seven president Celeste Gudas, is causing “workers [to] see fewer opportunities.” But the report isn’t all bleak: in spite of the high taxes they have to pay, freelancers are the most satisfied group, as they are in high demand these days, and 82% of those surveyed say they view their work-life balance as “good” or “great.” (WWD)

• Irina Shayk is getting little sleep these days, thanks to a man who has been stalking her for over two years. The New York Post reports that this mystery man has been in relentless pursuit of the supermodel, sending unwanted flowers and gifts, as well as periodically showing up at her apartment. Shayk filed a police report against the fellow a few months ago when he entered her home while workers were renovating.  Shayk was not in the apartment at the time, but came home to find him in her abode, and quickly ran out to call the police. When cops arrived on the scene, he had already left. On Sunday, the man appeared again, although he was unable to gain access to her living space. The Sports Illustrated cover girl filed a second complaint, and is now taking out a restraining order against him. Yikes! Hopefully, the police will help her this time! Stalkers can be very dangerous, and it can be difficult to get authorities to act in situations like these. (NYP)
