Vika Gazinskaya was born in Moscow in 1981. She is a fashion designer whose friends are well-know in the Fashion World.

Her first experience of fashion came in the form of Barbie.

Milkmaid braid and cute outfit. Trenza!

I finally decided to go to my University with my hair up and I chose this hairstyle called Milkmaid Braid. My classmates and I were on finals and everybody went to the school looking tired and untidy.

Everybody asked me how I had time for a nice hairstyle and outfit , to what I answered that just took me 5 minutes to create the braid and my pastel blazer was the one that made the look.

There's the catch !

Finalmente me decidí a utilizar el cabello recogido para ir a la Universidad y escogí una trenza tipo corona o Milkmaid (nombre en ingles para este tipo especifico de trenza).

Mis compañeros y yo estábamos en finales así que todo el mundo iba a estudiar viéndose cansado y algo desarreglado.Todos me preguntaban como tenia tiempo para arreglarme el cabello y para vestirme bien; a lo que respondía que la trenza solo me tomo 5 minutos y el blazer color pastel era lo que hacia el conjunto.

Vampi Summer [ I Love My Outfit ]

I have to tell you that I don't like summer and the sunglasses are my only reason why I enjoy it because I love to collect these items. I'm a sunglasses freak!

For this outfit I matched the color of my pants with my lipstick and I made a side braid because it was too hot to leave my hair down. I really love these beet colors and with this crazy weather any color is perfect!

Tengo que decirles que en verdad no me gusta mucho el verano y que las gafas de sol son mi unica razon para disfrutarlo porque me encnata coleccionar estos accesorios. Soy como una loca por las gafas!

Para este conjunto de ropa combine el color de mis pantalones con el de mi labial , tambien me hize una trenza a un lado porque estaba demasiado caliente para dejar mi cabello suelto. Estos colores como remolacha morado rojiso me fascinan y para este clima tan extraño cualquier color es perfecto!

Hi People! Today is Tuesday and I have to come back to school because I dont have summer vacations, but I'm Ok with that ☹ .

The important is that this was my outfit for a nice day in NYC ! It was windy, chilly and sunny (The perfect weather for me) and I chose my blue baroque pants to go to the school. This pants have a really cool print that reminds me the popular details of the baroque time with its damasks and particular colors.

Hola a todos! Hoy es martes y tengo que volver a la Universidad porque no tengo vacaciones de verano! pero por ahora creo que eso no me molesta ☹ .

Lo importante aquí es que esta fue mi ropa para un día muy agradable en NYC! Era soleado pero hacia brisa fría ( Mi clima favorito ) y escogí mis pantalones azules tipo barroco para ir a estudiar. Estos pantalones tienen un estampado muy divertido que me recuerda a los detalles característicos de esa época como los damascos y sus colores representativos.

Crazy Weather [ I love my Outfit ]

At the beginning of this month the weather here in NYC was crazy. One day was sunny and the next one windy and that made me change my wardrobe from winter to spring every time. It's frustrating because you felt happy with the nice weather and suddenly everything change.

Hopefully this is my last fall outfit until summer!

Today I want to share with you the time when I went to Central Park with my friend Naekyong on a beautiful lovely nice and warm Saturday.

These are some of the pictures that we took just for fun and for my 2D class too.

That day the park was so crowed that it was difficult to find a nice spot for our lunch at the green open space , but he did it and I am so happy with our pictures of that day!

I really love nail polishes, but I am not a huge fan of regular and soft colors as coral or beige, even though I got this new color and it deserved to use it.

I hadn't gotten my nails done for a while because of my art projects that keep my hands dirty with charcoal or painting, but I do love nail art so this time I made on each hand a design on 3 of my nails and on the other 2 just a base and smooth coat.

Yo en verdad amo los esmaltes de uñas pero no soy una gran fan de los colores suaves o normales como el color coral o el beige, sin embargo consegui un nuevo color y queria usarlo.

No me habia podido pintar las uñas en mucho tiempo por culpa de mis proyectos de arte que me mantienen las manos llenas de carboncillo y pintura , pero como amo pintarme las uñas decidi hacer en cada mano un diseño en 3 de las uñas y en las otras 2 aplique una capa suave.

When I bought this dress I thought that it was too shinny for daytime ,but when I wore it the first time during my trip to Miami I immediately loved it! I really like how feminine it looked on me. I wore it with a white belt and my fav shoes now.

Cuando compre este vestido no estaba muy segura de el porque pense que era muy brillante para usarlo en el dia. La primera vez que lo use fue durante mi viaje a Miami y de inmedianto lo ame!! What's John Galliano's future ? Galliano ahora

After all the controversy with Galliano's antisemitic comment and his farewell to one of the most important fashion houses in the world (Dior), this amazing and controversial designer continues his returned to the fashion industry with a new and completely shocking strategy for a well know designer.

John Galliano is confirmed as a teacher of the important fashion and design school, Parsons. He will be part of an intensive workshop that it is supposed to last 3 days and it is called " Show Me Emotion". These series of workshops will engage students to explore an investigational making.

Después de toda la controversia por el comentario antisemita de John Galliano y su despedida de una de las casa de moda mas importantes en el mundo (Dior), este increíble y controversial diseñador continua con su regreso a la industria de la moda con una nueva y completamente diferente estrategia para un diseñador tan reconocido.

John Galliano fue confirmado como profesor de una de las más importantes escuelas de moda y diseño, Parsons. Este sera parte de un taller intensivo que supone durar 3 días y el cual es llamado " Show me Emotion" o "Muéstrame emoción" en español . Esta serie de talleres llevaran a los estudiantes a explorar la construcción en una forma más investigativa.

Recap Hispanicize 1st outfit [ I love my outfit]

This probably not the best outfit for traveling , but I needed it to hit Hispanicize on time. It was 12 pm that Wednesday and after a long flight that started at 6 am, I finally arrived to Miami wearing my black pants with crosses and my black sheer blouse with my beautiful holographic shoes. I felt so dizzy and tired , but happy to be there. So happy!

Este no es el mejor conjunto de ropa para viajar pero lo necesitaba para llegar lista a tiempo a Hispanicize. Eran las 12 pm del Miercoles y despues de una largo viaje que empezo a las 6 am, por fin habia llegado a Miami y llegue usando mis pantalones negros de cruses, my blusa negra transparente y mis bellos zapatos holograficos. Me setnia mariada y cansada pero feliz de estar alla. Muy Feliz!

You know that I've always tried to bring you original and easy designs and today I have a cute nail art that you would use it in every color.

❤You can create the stripes with a stencil or with a thin brush; the important thing is that all the stripes start from one point on the bottom of your nail to create the fan effect.

❤Tu puedes crear las lineas con un sello de uñas o con un pincel delgado, lo importante es que todas las lineas salgan del comienzo de la uña para lograr el efecto de abanico.

It was Thursday and my second day in Miami and Hispanicize, the event; too many people and panels to visit that I decided to wear my lilac outfit even when it was included an all white party that day , but I had to celebrate the opportunity of being in a place where it is always summer and my rainbow outfit reflected my happiness of breathing that sky blue sea.

Era Jueves y mi segundo dia en Miami y en el evento de Hispanicize. Tanta gente por conocer, tantos paneles por visitar que de cierta forma merecia que usara mi ropa de color lila inclusive cuando habia una fiesta donde se tenia que ir de blanco, pero es que yo tenia que celebrar la oportunidad de estar en un lugar donde siempre es verano y mi conjunto multicolor reflejaba mi felicidad de respirar ese mar azul cielo.

New Knowledge by The Adelante Movement #Latinos

A charm bracelet is a beautiful piece of jewelry that carries personal "charms" which signify important things in the owner's life. Today, I want to tell you about my new charm; my experience during the conference called Hispanicize and specially my experience with The Adelante Movement and Coca-Cola and how this event is a pretty scene of my life.

The Adelante Movement brought together unbelieved latinas who have overcome all the struggles that latino women have to experience to be recognized for their talent in a foreign country.

Miami had the opportunity to meet these women who spoke about their life as latinas in U.S. and I was there listening to their honorable pieces of advice, learning as much as I can, and feeling proud of myself.

Un brazalete con dijes es una joya que puede guardar muchos recuerdos personales en cada dije, ya que estos puedes representar momentos especiales de la vida del que la posea. Hoy quiero contarles de un nuevo "dije" que adquirí gracias a mi experiencia en la conferencia Hispanicize y la charla de Coca-Cola llamada The Adelante Movement.

The Adelante Movemente reunió a increíbles latinas que han superado la lucha de ser una mujer latina tiene que sobrepasar para ser reconocida por su talento en un país que no es el propio.

Miami tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a estas mujeres y escuchar de su vida como latinas en Estados Unidos y claramente yo también escuche sus consejos y aprendí demasiado. Me sentí orgullosa de mi misma.

Every attendee received a charm bracelet from Coca- Cola. These bracelets are made in Bogota, Colombia (My Country) from recycled material. Women who make these items are head of household, single mothers, widowed or under educated what I think it is amazing because they have a job now; moreover, they are all made by hand.

During the conference I sat next to my roommates and powerful latina friends and we really enjoyed this conference and talked about it with so much passion. I definitely recommend women to be part of The Adelante Movement because it opens up a new window to your life!

Cada persona presente para la conferencia tenia la oportunidad de recibir uno de estos brazaletes de Coca' Cola. Los brazaletes son hechos en Bogota, Colombia (Mi país) y son hechos con material reciclable. Las mujeres encargadas de su diseño son amas de casa, madres solteras, viudas o mujeres de baja educación lo que hace la iniciativa mucho más valiosa pues este se ha convertido en el trabajo de estas mujeres, ademas las piezas son hechas a mano.
Durante la conferencia estuve al lado de mis compañeras de cuarto de hotel que son mis valiosas amigas latinas con las que disfrute demasiado la conferencia. Tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar de ellos y definitivamente queda recomendadisimo The Adelante Movement porque abre nuevas ventanas a tu vida.

These women were awarded with the Latinovator Award that recognizes celebrities, business professionals and other Latino achievers who have become crossover successes or whose stories of success are remarkable and inspirational.
Estas mujeres fueron reconocidas con el premio Latinovator dado a celebridades, profesionales en negocios y otros latinos emprendedores que han logrado sobresalir o cuyas historias son dignas de inspiración e importancia.

I am very happy with my trip to Miami and having had the chance to be next to wonderful women!

Estoy muy feliz con mi viaje a Miami y haber tenido el oportunidad de estar junto a estas mujeres increibles!

Last week on Wednesday, I went to Miami and get the opportunity to visit the Blogging,Journalist, Music and Film Latino conference - Hispanicize in the Eden Roc hotel.

I wore this outfit for Wednesday Night because we had a party sponsored by Mcdonald on a nice yacht and, of course, in Miami I am not afraid of wearing neon pieces because there is always summer , that is the reason I decided to wear my peplum green Neon top with an asymmetrical sheer skirt that hid the peplum detail and just left the nice straples bright top.

El Miercoles de la semana pasada estuve en Miami y tuve la oportunidad de visitar la conferencia de Blogs, periodismo, música y películas - Hispanicize realizada en el hotel Eden Roc.

Para la noche del Miércoles había una fiesta en un yate patrocinada por McDonald y ya que me encontraba en Miami no dude en usar algo de tonos neones porque allí siempre es verano y estos colores van muy bien. Esa es la razón por la cual decidí usar mi top peplum de color verde neón y mi falda asimétrica negra que cubría el detalle del peplum dejando el top como si fuera solo un straple.

I clearly didn't had any consistent color on my legs , I had worn pants and jeans throughout the winter season. The sun had not touched my legs in months!

I had used Jergens Natural Glow 3 Days to Glow before going to the event, but I didn't realize it and I barely remember having used it or had the intention to tan my legs before Miami, but when I got there surprisingly it'd worked and the nice color was because of Jergens.

Claramente no tenia ningún color uniforme en mis piernas pues había usado pantalones y jeans por toda la temporada de Invierno. El sol no había tocado mis piernas en meses.

Today I will teach you a simple way to create your nail designs with tools that you probably have at home. This is an easy design that wont take a lot of time.!

Este es un diseño facil que no te tomara mucho tiempo!

To create this design you will need : - Para hacer este diseño vas a necesitar:

2 nail polishes; I chose Essi 804 Fear or desire orange and Funky Fingers Electric blue - 2 esmaltes , yo escogí un naranja de Essi 804 Fear or desire y azul eléctrico de la marca Funky Fingers.
Clear tape - Cinta transparente.
Scissors - Tijeras.

❤Basically you just have to fold in half a strip of tape and cut a small triangle in the middle which will turn into a diamond shape when you'll open the tape stripe. Easy!

❤Básicamente tienes que doblar una tira de cinta por la mitad y cortaras un triangulo en la mitad de la parte del doblez, este se transformara en una figura de diamante al abrir la cinta. Fácil!

Now that you know the technique, you can create different designs for your nails.

Since one of my favorites designers Christophe Decarnin left Balmain in 2011 this fashion house has tried to keep the image of what Decarnin created.Olivier Roustein, the new designer, brought to us for Paris fashion week -Fall collection- a group of pieces that have some significant details of "Balmain by Decarnin", even when I like the collection; I really miss those Decarnin days!

Dado que uno de mis diseñadores favoritos Christophe Decarnin dejó Balmain en 2011, esta casa de moda ha tratado de mantener la imagen de lo que Decarnin creo. Last Year, I went to Hispanicize - Blogging,film, and journalist conference- in Miami where I met so many wonderful people. This year I will got too to enjoy with my blogger friends, learn about promoting my blog, meet new people, enjoy the lounges and share experiences with many Latinos.

I love Coffee [ I Love my Outfit ]

As the title says I love Coffee! but... I have recently reduced my caffeine intake because I was going nuts in winter with my daily cups of coffee. I still love it, but now I love Tea more.

This outfit is really comfy; it is for those days when you want to look nice but not really dressed up. It matched with my coffee. Lol

Como dice el titulo Amo el café ! pero... recientemente he reducido mi consumo de cafeína porque me estaba volviendo loca con el número de cafés que tomaba al día. Todavía lo amo pero ahora mi amor es el té.

Mi conjunto esta vez fue muy relajado y es definitivamente para esos días que quieres lucir bien pero no muy arreglada. Ademas combina con mi café :)

This time I decided to wear a hat I had bought a while ago at Claire's, but that I hadn't worn it because the weather was not right to do so. Finally I decided and use it, combining it with a relaxed and monochromatic outfit. That day I received so many compliments on my hat and I definitely would use it again before the weather changes, as this cloche is more a winter hat.

Esta vez decidí usar el gorro que había comprado un tiempo atrás en Claire's pero que no había usado porque el clima no era el indicado para hacerlo. Por fin me anime y lo use; lo combine con un conjunto relajado y monocromático. Ese día recibí muchos cumplidos por mi sombrero y definitivamente lo volveré a usar antes de que cambie el clima, ya que este sombrero es mas de invierno.

You may not know it but I'm addicted to hats too; It is as if I saw an ad on them that says "buy me" and then I'd do.
Quizás no lo saben pero soy medio adicta a los sombreros también .Es como si viera un aviso en ellos que me dice " Comprame" y pues así lo hago.

Cigarrillo y asma- Que mala combinación !

Si algo he aprendido del gran problema y vicio de fumar, es que no tiene ningún beneficio.

Últimamente he pensado más acerca del problema del cigarrillo y el tabaco ya que es muy fácil darse cuenta que caminando por mi universidad y cambiando de clase a clase casi el 100% de los estudiantes fuman de una forma extrema. Quizás es porque todavía hace frió en Nueva York o porque los exámenes de mitad de semestre nos tienen estresados a todos, pero en mi caso tras ver tantos casos de adicción al cigarrillo que terminan mal no tengo ni la más mínima intención de intentarlo.

Mi abuela murió por culpa del cigarrillo y aunque ella lo había dejado hace aproximadamente 20 años eso no vasto para eliminar el daño que este le había causado. Esto creo un gran impacto en mi vida y decidí jurar por ella que nunca lo utilizaría. El problema después radico en mi papa que llevaba fumando desde los 18 años y su adicción era extrema; el fumaba demasiado a tal punto que a veces tenia los dedos amarillos por la nicotina. Estaba muy pero muy preocupada por el pero tras la pérdida que vivimos lastimosamente mi papa aprendió de mal modo que debía dejarlo.

El asma de mi papa se empeoro por culpa del cigarrillo pero después de su gran decisión y determinación por dejarlo puedo decir que ahora es más consciente de su salud y sus pulmones pues ya lleva varios años sin tocar un cigarrillo y su asma ha mejorado mucho.

Y es aquí donde retomo el gran problema que hay en mi universidad pues me toca de cierta forma al tener una amiga cercana (ella es coreana) que fuma demasiado pero se me ocurrió que debería contarle mis experiencias personales con mi familia y el cigarrillo para ayudarla a mejorar ya que ella también tiene asma.

Ahora con tantos métodos que te ayudan a dejar esta adicción no debería ser tan difícil dejarla pero sé que es complicado cortarlo de raíz. Mi papa tenía unos parches de nicotina que le ayudaban a romper el deseo de fumar y pensé que sería buena idea intentarlo con ella, así que decidimos ir juntas a comprar algunos para empezar su tratamiento.

Estoy muy contenta de que ella confié en mí y este determinada a un cambio radical. Le deseo la mejor de las suertes y seguiré apoyándola para mejorar su salud porque en verdad no hay nada bueno en acabarse antes de tiempo.
