Harper's Bazaar Turkey has an interesting set up for their June 2012 cover. Ieva Leguna is front and centre like a monochromatic goddess channelling Cruella Deville. Seems we'd classify this as garden chic in Turkey, if you analyze her surroundings. One things for sure...we'd love to get our hands on that gorgeous Gucci bag she's clutching. That's the fab Gucci 1970s collection shoulder bag she's folded over to look like a clutch. Heaven in a handbag, folks!

Foxy Knoxy aka Amanda Knox hits Hot 100 list for 2012

Well this is strange, very strange. Maxim have just released their Hot 100 list and one Miss Amanda Knox is on said list! Now she may be in the lower ranks on the 100, coming in at 92, but the fact that she is included at all we find most unusual. Yes, Foxy Knoxy has been released from prison and cleared from all charges for the murder of Meredith Kercher. And yes, she is a good looking girl. But the whole ordeal is not one that strikes us as a reason to put the young girl into celebrity status. The fact that today's society celebrates such a thing is frankly a little disgusting. And we'll just leave it at that. Our thoughts are continually with the family of Meredith Kercher. Amanda Knox may have been cleared of all charges and come out with multiple fabulous opportunities to cash in on the whole ordeal but sadly the Kercher family have lost something that can never be returned or made right by a book deal or celebrity hit list. {Maxim}

Last September the fashion world was obsessed with the debut of one shoe at fashion week - Simone Rocha's Perspex floating heel brogue. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and blogs the world over were circulating pictures of the footwear from the moment the first model stepped out with the totally original footwear. In London, we were all proud to claim Simone Rocha as one of our own. In only her third season on the circuit she blew everyone away completely and I have no doubt fashionistas were placing orders as fast as their iPhones could type on that very day. Well, as it turns out, there's another brand that took notice of the footwear and seems to have been inspired to create their own interpretation at a fraction of the price. Queue Jeffrey Campbell and his "Float" shoe. Frankly speaking, these two designs are a little too close for comfort. So the question is... will you be supporting Rocha or Campbell with your hard earned cash?

How many of you have about a dozen of those blue Ikea bags lying around the house? I think I have five sitting in the closet in front of me as I write. While I have been using them as charity donation bags, turns out another blogger has decided the bag can be used to flesh out your wardrobe. Ikea Hackers recommends creating a dress with your spare Ikea bags which is achievable with just a clever imagination and a pair of scissors. Somehow we don't think, however, that this is a one size fits all option. Ever made anything crazier using random items around the house? Do share!

It is impossible to review Alain Ducasse in London as truly there aren't words in existence that can describe what an amazing experience it is to dine in such a sensational establishment. I did, of course, try once to review a meal at Ducasse at the Dorchester but I'm afraid even then my description did not do this culinary experience justice. So I will just say this - put this on your list of places to visit at least once in your life if not monthly. It's worth every penny saved and every moment spent.

Samantha Brick is back and her latest "trophy wife" article is officially OTT!

Oh, Samantha Brick. We want to stick up for you and say that somehow the Daily Mail misled you in publishing your initial article in which you claimed being beautiful was oh so difficult. However, with this week's latest instalment in your story we are officially stepping aside and announcing, "general public, take your best shot as Samantha Brick deserves every negative comment you can throw her way." Honestly, was this woman dropped on her head as a child? Her latest article is titled "Independence? A career? Who needs them! A husband who prizes your looks, not your mind is the key to a happy marriage". I could probably stop right there and say no more as the title itself truly says enough. However, there are two choice quotes which really send Brick's message home. Here are the highlights:

My husband sets me a £250 allowance each month for my wardrobe, I ask his permission before booking a hair appointment and discuss with him what I will have done...He prefers I wear classic ladylike attire and, at 5ft 11in, he insists I tip the scale at no more than 10½ stone. In fact, he’s there when I weigh myself.
If a woman doesn’t make an effort, it’s perfectly logical that her husband will assume it’s because she feels he’s not worth making an effort for. Can you then blame a man for looking elsewhere? A trophy wife, however, would never make such a mistake. It’s part of our job description to look good and support our husbands at all times.

It's an entertaining read if you are the sort of person that enjoys yelling at your computer like it's Samantha Brick herself. Thank goodness these articles are published purely to drive traffic and attention towards the Daily Mail. If this women were actually speaking any sense at all I'd be worried. Oh, Samantha Brick....I do hope, for your own sake, that you never awake from this delusional dream as I'm not sure you would survive your own reality. {Daily Mail}
