What are the best teen fashion boutiques?

I go to a school where fashion is a big part. But everybody shops at the same place and ends up with the same clothes. So I am looking for some really good fashion boutiques/stores that are unknown or not very popular.

i am only 13 and i live in canada, and i really want to go to university in the states, especially california and if not new york. i have a passion for fashion and designing, and i really want to successfully run my own fashion business one day. i am planning ahead:)

I would like to know:
-what it involves and what qualifications i need from school and university.
-An online website where i can read a fashion column or an example of what people who are fashion journalists write.
-Roughly the highest and lowest amount i would earn if i chose this career path.
-And do you have to know lots about fashion or can this be learnt as i qualify?
