Burton is continuing it’s collabo with what I think is one of the most genius artist/brand collabo’s to date, the Andy Warhol Foundation. New Era Fitteds

Our friends at New Era were kind enough to send over a box of some of their new fitteds the other day. We love hats and there is nobody that can touch New Era right now. If you are looking for a headwear brand to support, these guys will be around forever, from hooking up pro baseball players, to collabo’ing with basically every major action sports brand out there, you don’t get much more credified than that.

We were super impressed with these fitteds they sent. They are New York and L.A. hats and are all so comfy and fit perfect. Seriously people, I can’t tell you how many times I have put on a hat from some other headwear company and it looks and fits horrible. New Era always look good, has for decades and will for more decades to come.

$10,000 Nixon Watches Awarded to Maloof Money Cup Winners

As you know, the Maloof Money Cup went off over the weekend and P-Rod and PLG were victorious. Not only were they victorious for winning their respective contests, P-Rod street and Pierrr Luc Gagnon, halfpipe — these guys got some insane Nixon hookups worth $10k a pop!

To go along with the gobs and gobs of money floating around in this event, Nixon worked with the man behind the Maloof Cup, Rob Dyrdek to produce these lovely time pieces that even Donald Trump would get a rise out of. Both the watches are the 51-30 model featuring a custom 300 meter Swiss-made automatic movement with 23 karat gold platedstainless steel case, sapphire crystal and custom rounded bezel set with 76 white baguette diamonds equivalent to one and a quarter carats. These unique pieces are additionally highlighted with genuine white stingray bands and custom engraved casebacks.

According to Chad Dinenna, co-founder and marketing director at Nixon, said these things are two of the most expensive watches that Nixon has created thus far. Check out some zoom steez below in the gallery:

Maybe I’m just a little obsessed with the over the top granny style sunglasses, but the new Honeyrider series from Electric is HOT. They come in 4 colors, black gloss, white gloss, orange sorbet, and my favorite, seafoam!

Each has a gradient lens in either grey or brown, with the electric logo etched along the top corner edge for added style. They’ll fit right in with my curly afro-style hair… now I just need the platform shoes. You can nab ‘em at Tactics Boardshop and qualify for free shipping.

I called up Jeremy Heit the other day to talk to him about Raen optics and to see if they would be interested in working with Seshn. Jeremy is a mellow cat to say the least and I could hear the passion he has for his new company behind his voice.

Raen, pronounced ‘rain’, was founded by Jeremy and his brother, Justin. Jeremy was a pro surfer and involved with sales and marketing while his bro has a marketing and branding background. They both have alot of drive and are going to change the eyewear game up a bit with Raen. Their first shipment of product comes in on the 24th of July and we are eagerly awaiting it’s arrival.
