Ray J is milking as much publicity out of “I Hit It First” as he can. Which is to be expected. You don’t drop a song like that, given his history with Kim Kardashian and the fact that she’s currently pregnant by Kanye West, without expecting attention.

But Ray claims he isn’t concerned with how Kim and Kanye will react to it.

“I’m not thinking about that,” Ray said when asked about Kanye’s non-response. “We didn’t do this record to get a response from nobody. Like, we did this record for people to go to iTunes, pick the record up, when you hear it in the club, you go crazy. If you want to pop it on your iTunes that’s in your phone and have a crazy conversation about what it is, that’s what we did it for. We run an independent company and we having fun. … The thing about it is I’m not saying anything to nobody. The record speaks for itself. The record is so over-the-top that for us to go into the interviews and go crazy over some sh*t, it’s too much. Singer/model Christina Milian was out at the Staples Center last night (April 17th) for the Lakers final regular season game against the Houston Rockets and she was with her boyfriend, Jas Prince. But what got the blogsophere buzzing was what looked to be something big and blinging on her left ring finger.

Is it possible that Jas decided to put a ring on it?

C-Milli has looked very coupled up with Jas lately–even posing with he and her daughter in matching outfits last month. Her split from producer The-Dream a couple of years ago was famously contentious.

It’s great she can live again.

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake is reportedly looking to embark on a business venture with Rihanna involving the reboot of social network MySpace–but his wifey Jessica Biel is allegedly having none of it. An “unnamed source” claims that Jessy doesn’t trust Timberlake and Rih-Rih getting too close to each other.

“Jessica has had her trust issues with Justin, and knowing that he’s schmoozing Rihanna really makes her nervous,” the source claimed. “She’s told Justin that she wants him to avoid dealing with RiRi one-on-one and leave the negotiating to his business team, but that’s not how Justin rolls.”

But does Jessica have reason to be jealous? “He approached [Rihanna] recently with the pitch that he’d take some of the business pressure off her shoulders,” the source told The Enquirer. “But what he really wants is to bring her online business ventures – and her fans – onto MySpace.”

DMX’s controversial appearance on “Iyanla Fix My Life,” has been the talk of the week. On the show, X and his son had a bad exchange upon trying to re-connect on Iyanla Vanzant’s show, with X storming out and things ending worse than they were before.

The self-help guru has reached out to X, again, however, in an open letter to the troubled rapper.

“Beloved, I know we haven’t spoken since our time together in Yonkers. And what I’m hearing is that they are just waiting for the call. They are waiting for the day they get the call. And you know what I mean.

But I’m not waiting for that call. I’m calling on you, and I’m not going to give up on you. I will not stand by and watch my brother die. Over the years, I’ve worked with many, many people who’ve struggled with addiction.

Fantasia had a listening party last night in West Hollywood–and she looked great. The singer was joined by Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and The-Dream among others, as she showed off her new look and her new album, Side Effects of You.

Fantasia has had a rough few years, but it looks like she may be bouncing back.

She introduced a new track called “If I Was A Bird” and explained her state of mind.

“This song that I’m about to play is very, very, very dear to me. For some reason birds are here in my dreams lately. Eagles. They are in my dreams,” she shared. “I always say, everything happens for a reason. Birds fly free and I feel like God has turned me into a bird at this point in my life. I’m not going to carry any of that anymore. I’m just going to fly and travel the world, and tell my testimony, and not live in my past but look forward to my future.”

Draya is definitely focused on marketing her upcoming lingerie line. The “Basketball Wives: LA” star posted some new Instagram pics of her and her models in some skimpy outfits guaranteed to get guys’ attention.

She is becoming known for how little she wears as she is for how many fights she starts on her reality show.

Draya confirmed earlier this week that “Basketball Wives: LA” isn’t being canceled by VH1, despite rumors to the contrary. She also hinted that she be landing her own series on the network.

Rihanna has had to cancel shows on her “Diamonds” tour due to illness. The singer put the brakes on shows in Houston and in Dallas this week, and there are starting to be some rumblings that she’s battling more than just laryngitis.

That’s right, Rih-Rih’s fans think she may be pregnant.

Of course, nothing from the star has alluded to any chance of her carrying a little Chris Brown.

“I was sick since San Diego! I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f**ked up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different!” she posted. “I’m sad and disappointed about it! I had all kinds of plans for Houston!”

“Love & Hip Hop” star Shay ” Buckeey” Johnson is denying that she was beaten and bruised–and allegedly cut with a razor–during her fight with Erica Dixon. Dixon denied slicing Johnson, but claimed she gave her a vicious beating.

But Buckeey posted photos of herself after the fight to prove that she wasn’t beat down.

“LETS SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT!! This is what Im looking like 4/11/13! Apparently them PAWS need 2 go back in training!” she tweeted. “With and with out make up!! REAL WOMEN DONT TALK ABOUT IT THEY BE ABOUT IT!! SEE YOU WHEN I SEE YOU!!”

The Young Money brand is so strong–even their second tier acts are making major moves.

Or at least, YMCMB rapstress Shanell may have something major in the works. She told VIBE that she and her sister, D. Woods, may be making the big leap to reality TV.

“We’ve been approached about that several times,” she said. “I’ve tried to stay away from it but she’s open to it.”

“For me, it’s just about getting the right people to put it together,” she added. “A lot of reality TV has it pros and it’s cons. I just wanna make sure that when it comes to family we don’t have any wrong light shed on us.”
