So I'm gonna have my husband do that pretty soon, maybe sometime this week. I also need to empty my micro sd card so I can actually take some pictures...it's plum full. In case you're wondering, I will not be posting those horrific pictures here..hahaha...so don't worry, you don't have to be afraid the next time you stop by..LOL!

Love It

If you are looking to keep track of your calories and exercise online I highly recommend Fitday.com. I discovered it last week, and love it! You might have to spend some time entering food nutrition info for a little, but I think it's worth it. You can track your food, exercise, enter weight goals, it's just an awesome sight! Try it! Oh, and it's free!

To Do...

Tomorrow I have a laundry list of things that need to be done...including laundry...haha. I also have to run to the drug store, the grocery store, the hardware store to look for a AC filter, and clean really, really bad..lol! Seriously is a disaster in here.lol! It looks like a tornado hit. Well two little tornadoes did hit...they did a lot of damage too...lol. Kids, you gotta love em.. Yay! I was quite pleased when I stepped on the scale and saw that....lol! So my calorie counting and treadmill are paying off! I'm very happy about that. So along with that good news, and a fun sledding party this weekend, the weekend was very good. Lots of fun!

Sometime this week we have to take a run to the mall, I want to get a few things. Some new pants, as I cannot seem to keep mine up..lol! The hubby wants to get some stuff....a movie, project management software, and something else I can't remember..lol! I think it's going to be a busy week. I also have an appt on Wednesday. So it's going to be a fun week..lol! I am so ready for it to be gone. It's nice for a little while, but after about a week I'm usually sick of it. The tree has actually stayed up longer this year than any other year. Usually it's down the day after Christmas. The funny thing is it's usually only up a week before Christmas. This year it was up the first week in December....we were on the ball this year. The hubby even got out there and hung the Christmas lights outside fairly early. Usually he's risking his life(with minimal life insurance I might add) in ice and snow with a ladder hanging up the lights..lol! Anyway......it's time for this stuff to come down......not right now...but probably tomorrow...lol. Right now I'm busy blogging and watching Mythbusters....you have to have priorities..hehehe.

Motivation Anyone????

If you need a little bit of motivation...take a look at these before and after pics from People.com. We have a house we rent out to some family friends, and it seems like every month we are over there fixing something. It's getting tiring...lol! My husband was just over there the other fixing a leaky sink. He's made more trips to the hardware store for plumbing and electrical supplies in the last 6 months, than he has in his whole life probably. Ok..maybe not ...but it seems like it..lol! A couple of friend's and I have been talking for months about taking a girl's weekend and going somewhere fun. Well we might do just that...maybe...hopefully. I 'm hoping that we can go to Toronto. We've been looking at some Toronto hotels and shopping centers and stuff, and it looks like it could be a fun weekend for us. I'm really really hoping that we can work something out, because I really need a weekend away from everyone. A friend of mine decided that he is going to do just that. He's going to go back to school to get his degree that he never finished. Just like everyone else, he had some things come up and never ended up finishing college. He's always regretted it, so he decided that now is as good a time as any. He decided that an online degree from Western Governors University is the way to go for him, since he has a weird schedule. I think this is going to be really good for him, and before he knows it he will be the proud owner of a online IT degree. Hopefully that will help him get a better job, which will help him tremendously. I think this new year is going to be good for a lot of people!

Happy New Year!!!

Well it is officially 2010. I am hoping that this is the year that I lose all my weight and get healthy! I'm pretty confident in it. I've been doing pretty good lately, and am hoping to continue that into the new year. Over the last year I managed to drop almost 30lbs, which I'm pretty happy about. Now I just need to continue dropping. I have slacked off on the treadmill lately though, so I need to get back on that. I also need to come up with some healthier meals and go grocery shopping. Oh also on the list is download some new tunes and redo my playlist....gotta have tunes for the treadmill..lol! I hope everyone has a great year!!!!

Monday Can't Come Soon Enough......

Does anyone else just wish you could pack a suitcase and leave for a couple days...by yourself? I do. I wish I could pack up my Samsonite luggage, check into a hotel, soak in a jacuzzi tub, order room service....and most important of all....not listen to screaming crying kids for 2 whole days....ahhhh that would be heavenly bliss..lol!

I swear all my kids have done the last 4 days is argue...and I'm not exaggerating...lol! I think I will actually be glad when the weekend is over and my 6 year old goes back to school. I know, that's a horrible thing to say, but it's the truth...lol! I need some quiet! The kids are easy..toys. Cameron is getting a tool bench, a light up bear, some new cars probably, and he really needs new clothes...I'm sure he won't be too excited about those, but oh well..lol! Kaitlin is going to be a little tougher I think...so far I think she's getting a new leapster game, some movies, books, and more art stuff, she also needs some new pants.

The tough people to buy for are the ones we don't see all the time, like parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. I'm sure we'll get gift cards for some, edible stuff for some..like pepperidge farms stuff...Padron cigars, movies and cds...nothing to awful expensive, but it does add up eventually. Next year...everyone is getting cards..lol! That's it..just a card..lol! I'm sure the kids will understand. Yeah right! LOL!

Oh..My Poor Tummy....

I have abused it, over and over, this weekend. Everyone eats too much this weekend...lol! Tomorrow is back to normal. I'm almost looking forward to it..lol! I'm sure I'll feel better....cause right now...I'm not feeling too hot..lol! I hadn't been there in a long time....so I started looking at stuff. Not that I have any money to buy anything...lol! Obviously I checked the "free" category first. In there was a free motorhome...I thought cool! Until I saw that the "free" motorhome was looking for someone that had experience with rv repair. So..it obviously was broken..lol! Figures! So I moved on to the "pets" category...like I need anymore pets..lol! There were so many cute little fluffy kittens in there. I wanted to take them all, but of course the hubby would not like that at all. Well neither would I, after that first litter box cleaning..lol! So anyway...my reunion with Craigslist didn't result in getting anything, but it was fun for a little while..lol!

Good Luck...

I was just reading an article in our local newspaper about a new hobby store that opened up recently in our very small town. They are offering some of the older hobby stuff like coin collecting, model trains, that type of stuff. I have to say they are brave to open up a new store in this town. Almost every new store that opens..ends up closing up within a few months. I guess they have been getting pretty good business so far. So, that's good. Hopefully they make it. I guess they even had a business plan writer write them up a business plan. So they seem to be taking it pretty serious. Which is good. I'm hoping they are here for years to come...I'm sure the kids will enjoy it when they are old enough to get into hobbies.

Black Friday Shopping...

Since I was in pain all weekend, I obviously missed out on Black Friday shopping. I've only went once before...and that was enough for me..lol! I'm not real big on huge crowds of people. Especially people that are trying to push and shove their way through everyone. The one year I did go people were pushing and shoving and a couple of cardboard displays full of Lego buckets got knocked over...it was chaotic to say the least..lol! That's why I will be doing a lot of my shopping online this year. No crowds, no long lines, and I can shop in my jammies...it doesn't get any better than that! LOL! So will you brave the crowds or shop online?

Thanksgiving Weekend..

Well, today is the last of the long Thanksgiving weekend. I would like to say that I had a ton of fun this weekend, but I didn't. Thanksgiving dinner was very good. The turkey was delicious, the pies were yummy...all was good....and then "it" happened. I stood up from the table to take care of my plate and a pain shot through my back like someone took a butcher knife to me. It was horrible!

So I have spent the last 3 days laying on the couch. Its been SO much fun....yeah right! lol! ugh! The pain meds helped a little, but not nearly enough. I basically spent all weekend on the couch trying not to move a muscle..lol! I hope your weekend was much better than mine!

Back on Track....

I'm happy to say I'm back on track and feeling pretty good about it. I've been doing good eating wise and started back on the treadmill. Yay for me! lol! It feels good to be back on the right track and I feel so much better already. So I'm happy.

I don't know why I get off track, because I do feel so good when I am eating right and exercising. It seems silly to not do it, when you're doing it..if that makes sense. Probably not, oh well..lol! I've been reading on the internet about how to lose belly fat too. That's definitely a priority around here..lol! Well and from every other part of my body too...ok maybe not my wrists..I like them...that's the only part I like though..LOL!

Motivation Needed....

So to pump myself up a little I've been looking at diet sites, before and after weight loss stories and pics, staring at the weight loss diet pill bottle that's sitting on my counter..lol! Can't seem to make myself take it though.

I have to say its all working though...starting to get in the mindset again. I think that is the most important thing. I do good when I'm really motivated and in the right mindset. If I start to waiver at all...it all goes out the window...I really need to work on that. I also need to work not letting 1 bad day..turn into 6 or 7 bad days..ugh! This diet thing is hard...lol!

Well.....

I started off with good intentions today. Water, yogurt.....and then my mom walked through the door with peanut butter doughnuts...yeah..you can probably guess what happened from there...LOL! Darn it!!!

I didn't do too bad for dinner ...turkey sub from Subway. So that was ok..but no treadmill today. Ok tomorrow will be better. I did a few baby steps today to get back in the game. Tomorrow will be a big leap...lol!

Should be Interesting...

One of my friends just recently received a pair of Kettlebells in the mail. I'm really curious to see if 1. she actually uses them..lol! 2. to see if they work...and 3. if she survives the workout..LOL! I've heard a lot of people talking about them lately...saying that they are an excellent workout. So I'm curious to see how it goes with her. Maybe if she survives I'll get some...I know the hubby has been wanting to try them too...so that's just one more excuse to get them..lol! Anyone have them? How hard was the first workout? Did they kick your butt? lol!

It's What?

I can't believe its November! That seems crazy to me...in my head its still June or July...and 6o to 70 degrees...lol! Yeah, yeah, I know...its not..in fact it snowed today. I hate snow. Have I mentioned that before? If not...I hate snow...I'll say it again, just to get it out there for everyone to hear. Soon it will be Christmas, then New Years...and before you know it...it will be November again. I hate snow!!!

Since its getting down to the end of the year, I've started thinking about stuff that I did not get accomplished. Stuff that will be added on to the list of stuff to do next year. Like replace the bathroom floor, replace the floor tiles, dig up the fence in the backyard, finish the trim work. So much stuff...I could go on and on and on...well you get the point...lol!

I'm not even going to get myself started on Christmas.....ugh!!! Not going there today..lol!

Weight Loss Stories

If there is one thing that gets me motivated its a good weight loss success story. I love reading them. I love looking at the pictures. It really makes you think....yeah I could do that...If she/he can do it. I can do it! So from now on I'm going to try to post a success story every once in awhile...hopefully it will get the motivation flowing..lol! So check out the link above!! You never know, maybe one day I'll post my own....

Fun Times Ahead...NOT!

So I have tons of fun stuff planned for this week. Like taking down Halloween decorations, calling for a life insurance quote, cleaning out closets, giving the dog a bath, and a tackling a mountain of laundry....ugh! Not my idea of a fun week...especially the giving the dog a bath part. I usually end up wetter than the dog...lol!

Wednesday is also my dd's snack day at school, so I need to figure out what that's going to be. Whatever it ends up being, it's going to be easy...I know that..lol! I am definitely not up for anything complicated this week.

Oh! I almost forgot the best one...paying bills...Oh what fun!! LOL!

Where's That Tooth Fairy?

Have you ever had a dream where your teeth fall out? I have and it is very weird..lol! Now they(whoever they is) say that if you dream that your teeth are falling out it means that you are having anxiety relating to your appearance or how others perceive you. Which I think makes sense.... kind of....lol!

My friend has had this happen in real life though, not a dream....well she wishes it had been a dream...lol! Her tooth kind of just fell out last year. She of course did a search for implant dentist Plano and found a great dentist to replace her tooth. She went around for a couple weeks with it missing...lets just say for those two weeks ...nothing was funny..she didn't so much as crack a smile...poor thing..LOL!
