href="http://www.duderanches.com/">ranches the other night. That show reminded her of her love of horses. She hasn't mentioned them in a while. Which is surprising, as she was practically obsessed with them for a while. A couple years ago we actually looked into getting her riding lessons. We researched horse saddles, and thanks to this Manhattan Saddlery Review, decided on some very nice equipment for her. Of course being that she was a young child, her interest changed at the drop of a hat, and we never followed through with the lessons.

Now that she's a bit older, I would definitely let her have lessons if she wanted. I was waiting for her to bring up lessons while we were watching the show, but she never did. Maybe I'll surprise her for her birthday. I know she would absolutely love that. It's not a cheap hobby, but I think with a dedicated child it can be well worth it. When children take lessons and are doing what they love, their self esteem goes way up. It also teaches them a ton of responsibility. So, maybe riding lessons will be in her future. I also wanted to mention how darn cute she'll look in a riding outfit!

I have been wanting to upgrade my cookware for years, but it is so expensive. I have been searching the internet and website for the best prices on the All-Clad Copper Core sets for years. The copper core is really the best you can buy right now. I like it better than the full copper because the stainless that polishes the outside of the pots and pans makes them so much easier to clean. My mom suggested that we get the copper core instead of the copper because they cook just as good and don’t have to be constantly polished. I have to admit, they are not quite as pretty as the exposed copper, but they cook great! I went with Macy’s because they had a slightly different set than Williams-Sonoma. They also had a sale when I ordered them and I ended up getting fifteen percent off. It doesn’t seem like much, but when you are ordering one thousand dollars worth, it saves you one hundred and fifty bucks!

It is what people notice first about you, and can make or break a person's confidence. Blemishes or blotchy patches on the skin can result in years of torture for a young person, and can cause problems for adults as well. I have known many people that, because of their skin, were very depressed and down about themselves. I myself have never faced these challenges, and hope and pray that my daughter doesn't either.

Luckily for those that are facing blotchy skin, a dark spot cream will often help. Natural creams are great, too many products now use chemicals, and most people do not even know what they are putting on their skin. So I am a huge fan of natural products. I even use natural cleaning products where possible. I would love to see every person proud of their face and skin. It is, I think, one of the most important parts of our body, and we should treat it well. So definitely look into if it is something that affects you.

I think it's around this time of the month that people start giving up or saying to heck with whatever resolution they chose. So many people choose losing weight, to quit smoking, save money. I chose to lose weight, of course. I pick the same thing every year, and will continue to pick the same thing every year until I actually do it. I am still working towards my goal to lose 45 lbs this year. I haven't weighed myself, but I feel much better and I've been fairly good with my food choices. I am fairly confident, and will be weighing myself this weekend, so wish me luck!

My best friend on the other hand chose to quit smoking again, and has pretty much given up. So I'm hoping to get her back on track soon. I'd hate to lose my friend over a nasty habit. I'm sure she wouldn't want to lose me over my intense love of all sweet and fatty foods either. We wanna be around for each other for a long time. So we have to make healthy choices, as should everyone.

I hope you all are doing good with your resolutions and health choices. Leave me a comment and let me know!

This past week I have been waking up every morning with a ton of back pain. The pain kind of radiates from my lower back into my shoulders and neck. It's not fun. I'm sure my pain is nothing compared to my cousin's, who will be going to the laser spine institute soon for a spinal injury. I can't even imagine what he is going through. I guess even though we are in pain and suffering, we must always remember that someone out there has it worse than we do. Be thankful for what you are not going through.

She has been super interested in learning how to play the guitar lately. So I thought that it would be a great extracurricular activity for her. She's at the age now where she gets home, and is bored stiff. She's not all that into toys anymore, so a guitar lesson might just be the thing for her. Music ability runs in her family also, so I'm sure she'll be a natural! :)

I looked online at some bank and Network Installer Jobs today, and I might apply. I think not having the structure of having a regular job is detrimental to my well being. So this lady is about to get back on the job scene! I also need to get on the treadmill! lol!

My goal this year is to lose 45 lbs and keep it off. That last part is the tricky part..lol. I'm making an effort to not eat as much and have been moving a little bit more. I really need to find the time to exercise, but I don't know when. It seems like I'm always busy running somewhere, or doing something for someone. I really need to make 2012 the year that I focus on myself...inside and out. Changes need to be made in my life, and I need to be the one to step up and make them. No one can do it, but me. So here's to a great 2012!

I went to several stores but I guess I was being too picky because the ones I ended up getting I probably could have bought at the first store I visited. I wanted our kids to have pajamas that complimented each other but did not necessarily match. I am glad my husband had our internet set up through Clear Odessa because after my search at several stores, I found the pajamas online. It was so easy to shop for them online and I was able to get the perfect colors and sizes without having to deal with any sales associates. My husband thinks it is too much to have our kids have matching Christmas pajamas, but I cannot resist because they look so cute in them and I wanted to take their picture for our Christmas card. It was a little different when we just had one child, but now that we have two children, I cannot wait for Christmas morning to see them in their pajamas opening up presents.

I've been thinking lately that our carpet really needs to be replaced. It's all matted down where the high traffic areas are, and does not look the best. It's definitely seen it's fair share of use, and we got our money's worth out of it. I've been thinking though, about replacing the carpet with alloc domestic laminate flooring. I've been thinking about getting a nice cherry finish. I think that would look nice with the walls. I have so many ideas for this house, now I just need the money...lol. That might help, just a little.

I'm in need of a new winter jacket, and I think after I lose about 20 pounds I'll reward myself with a new coat. Sounds good, huh? I think so..lol. The coat I have now, I like, but it's getting pretty old. So a nice new coat should be good motivation to lose those pounds. My New Years resolution is to lose 40lbs. If I get a new coat after 20lbs, what should I get after 40? I'll have to think about it. Any ideas? What have you gotten yourself for rewards?

I will be. Like always my New Years resolution will be to lose weight, roughly 40 pounds or so. I'm usually not very successful at these resolutions, but this next year I'm going to try really hard. Has anyone ever been successful at this? I personally don't know anyone that has, I don't think anyway. My friend did pretty good this year. Her resolution was to switch from regular cigarettes to electronic cigarettes. She did very good for about 8 or 9 months, but the last few she's been using both. I'm sure her resolution this year will be to go back to just the e-cigs.

So anyway, next year I will be getting back into a regular routine of healthy eating and exercising. I have a perfectly good treadmill collecting dust in the corner, so I might as well use it. The new year is a great excuse to start fresh and, at least for me, gives a ton of motivation to tackle what needs to be done. I need to lose weight. So I'm going to do it! My New Years goal is to lose 40 lbs this year. I will be successful! So what is your resolution going to be? How are you going to achieve it?

Just cover me in blue fur and give me COOOOKIES. My mom and the kids made sugar cookies the other day, probably 3 dozen or so. They are all gone. All of them. 3 days later..lol. I did have some help, but I have eaten way too many cookies. I definitely need to get back on track after the holidays are over. I weighed myself last week and I hadn't put on any weight, so I'm hoping that I make it through the holidays without gaining any, or very few at least. With all those cookies I ate though, I'm not holding my breath..lol.

I've known him since he was born, and he recently has been making me feel extremely old, lol, but I love the kid. I've always gotten him something for Christmas, as I'm referred to as an honorary Aunt by him. So lately he's been getting into music, and bought a guitar and some other music related things. His mom mentioned that he was looking at power amps the other day, and asked if I would mind going in with her and purchasing one, so I said why not. We looked at a site and found one that looked reasonable and good quality. So that's what I'm getting him. I didn't know what else to get him anyway..lol. So That's another Christmas present taken care of. Yay!

I'm not really sure why, but I'm not complaining. I already started my Christmas shopping, which is a record for me, I think. Usually I wait til the last minute and just grab what I can. This year though, I found some great deals on Black Friday that I couldn't pass up, they were exactly what I was looking for, for my kids. So I had to take advantage of that. I think over the next couple weeks I'll have all my shopping done, I hope anyway. I want to look into getting a panasonic home theater system for my boyfriend, and a few games for my kids, and a eBook for my mom.

Next week I'll be putting up the Christmas tree!! Fun!

We've kind of been doing the weight loss thing together, but I told her she really needs to focus on quitting the cigarettes. She's convinced that if she does that, that it will be even harder for her to lose weight, which is common from what I've heard, but I still think she needs to do it. In this day and age, no one should be smoking. We all know better, we all know it's bad for heath.

I want to help her, and she's convinced she can't do it on her own, but she also can't afford to buy any of the products to help. So I looked up some Ciggarest Reviews and I think I might go ahead and get some of that for her. I really want her to stop, so if I have to spend a little bit of money for her to accomplish it, then I think it's well worth it. I'd rather have my friend for years and years to come, then a little bit of money, that I'd probably waste in one or another anyway..lol.

Are you ready?! I'm certainly not all the way ready, but I have a good start. Which is making me feel a lot less stressed. I am quite worried though, that I'm going to indulge too much on the sweets. Right now there is a box of cookies on my table, that my mom bought...and I've already had one. It's so hard not to just grab one on the way by. UGH. I really am going to have to practice some self control. How are you all doing with the holiday eating?

If you need ideas for easy and effective ways to improve your homes security, check out http://www.HomeSecurity101.com. I found great tips there for manageable home safety solutions. For example, did you know that most break-ins occur between 6 am and 6 pm? Thieves are looking to get in while no one is home. They want to get in and out without being seen. Most people are away at work during this time. This is especially scary for stay-at-home parents and people who work from home. Protect yourself by ALWAYS keeping your doors locked. It’s shocking how many home invasions occur with people at home and the intruders are able to gain access through an unlocked door. I would assume that most intruders are as shocked as the homeowner when they meet. I’m sure that when the thieves come in they aren’t looking for a cup of coffee and some conversation. Whether or not you are at home during the day, take steps to make it look like you are. If you are home, turn lights off and on in different rooms. If you aren’t home, install timers on lamps and overhead lights to give the appearance of someone being in your house.

At first she scared me, because I thought something was seriously wrong. She apparently had a huge water leak in her bathroom and didn't know what to do..lol. She just moved there not too long ago, so she doesn't know any of the companies there. So I did a quick search for http://www.thesteamteam.com/ and found that they looked like they might be able to help her. Then she told me that her bathroom floor was an old wood floor, so another search for wood floor water damage austin and I got her all hooked up.

She's not the most internet savvy person to begin with and she didn't have her laptop, it's in the shop for a broken motherboard. So I was happy to be her phone a friend. lol. I'm used to doing that for my brother, but usually it's just for the Sunday crossword puzzle for him..lol. Yep, he's a cheater. I said it. My brother is a cheater at the crossword puzzle. So if any one else would like my phone a friend services, let me know!

I was applying my mascara like usual and for some reason, all of a sudden noticed that they were looking kind of bare. I'm thinking about getting some kind of eyelash growth product. I've always loved my eyelashes, they've always been full and long, so this is not sitting well with me..lol. I must grow some new lashes! lol!

I already took advantage of a deal online and ordered my daughter her big Christmas gift. I'm still looking around and hoping to find a deal on equestrian riding apparel for her, but nothing so far. I'm gonna keep checking back throughout the weekend, and hopefully I'll find something. I love shopping, and it's even better when you're getting a good deal. Right? yes. It's awesome. I'm also looking for deals on laptops. So if you see anything good, let me know!

A day where you stuff yourself silly and then lay around and complain about how full you are, until you eventually fall asleep. After your little nap, you wake up and proclaim that it's "pie time!". hahaha. You gotta love Thanksgiving. This year I'm having dinner at my boyfriend's house. His parents are up for out of state, and he's making a nice big dinner for all of us. It should be a pretty good day. I hope everyone else has a great day!

I'm excited about that. After we split that was one of the things that concerned me and so I'm happy with how it turned out this year. Next year I will not be as happy..lol. The schedule will switch and I'll have them for Thanksgiving. Which will be nice too. Today though I'm focused on Christmas and getting my Christmas invitations together and ready to mail. I had a burst of holiday cheer, so I figured I might as well put it to good use. lol.
