Alright, here’s the deal. For the first time ever, we’ll be releasing a limited edition NOFX deluxe box set that contains 18 classic NOFX 7”s. Many of these titles have been long out of print, such as Don’t Call Me White, All of Me, Louise & Liza, Timmy the Turtle, Pods & Gods, 13 Stitches, etc. Artwork for each 7” has been spruced up and new vinyl masters have been cut. View the box set cover below and order yours now as the Fat webstore has a ‘special edition’ with each 7” being pressed on a different, special vinyl color. On release day, April 24th, the ‘standard edition’ will be going gold, available in stores. Additionally, Ian Anderson, drummer of DEAD TO ME will be having a HARSH VIBES art show in the museum. DTM will screen print a limited design for anyone who brings a light colored shirt, or garment of your choice. This is a one night only event and starts at 6PM sharp! “We were holed up in Nanton, Alberta, Canada recording for over a month with award-winning producer and new friend, Steve Loree at Crabapple Downs. Our main idea for Westwinds was to create an all-electric album for our fans (to follow the all-acoustic record, Shine Not Burn). The goal was to release a great collection of songs that would not only make all of us McKenzies proud, but to also make that point that we’re not going anywhere anytime soon.”

COBRA SKULLS and DEAD TO ME are heading to Australia on a four state, nine day tour kicking off on March 28th in Adelaide. Check the dates HERE! Additionally, Tony Teixeira (Shotdown/ex-Nothington) will be filling in on guitar for the Cobra Skulls on both the Australian Tour and their upcoming New Year’s Eve show with Dead To Me.

STAR FUCKING HIPSTERS teamed up with Boots Riley of The Coup on the groundbreaking song, “9/11 ‘til Infinity,” from their new album From The Dumpster To the Grave. They recently collaborated on a video for the song, which you can watch HERE! Read what SFH vocalist & guitarist Sturgeon had to say about the collaboration:

“We met Boots Riley through our friend Miguel in Oakland. Star Fucking Hipsters were playing a very smokey little warehouse space and Boots came down and rapped a couple of songs through one of the tiniest and almost completely broken P.A. systems with Miguel accompanying on ‘old-timey’ guitar. We knew that nobody would really be able to hear our vocals during our set and we could only fit the drums and our singer on the stage, but what is now ‘9/11 ’til Infinity’ was our instrumental opener at the time and Boots liked it and agreed to rap on it after we were done playing.

“He was, for sure, my first choice out of any hip-hop artist to collaborate with and although it took us a long time to finish the record, this track is a favorite of mine. Also, we had a pretty fun time making the video and discussing everything from the newly spawned ‘Occupy’ movements to how Boots got his nickname. It’s always a great experience when you meet other artists that you respect and they are completely down to earth — and then you even get to work with them.”

You heard it right, The Lawrence Arms have announced 2012 touring plans! Check the dates here and read what Brendan Kelly had to say about it below!

In 2011, The Lawrence Arms only played two shows, once with the mighty Dead Milkmen and once out in SF for the Asian Man spectacular. It was, all things considered, a pretty slow year. Now, in the opening moments of 2012, in honor of the apocalypse, we’re gonna go ahead and straight up DOUBLE our entire last year’s worth of playing out in January alone. That’s right! We were talking and we realized that we haven’t played Detroit since the day Oh! Calcutta! came out (which was 2006, for fucks sake!) We haven’t played Cleveland or St. Louis since the fall of that same year, and we couldn’t very well play around the midwest without doing a hometown show…SO I’m happy to announce The Lawrence Arms 2012 Megalithic Mondothon World Tour dates, which include, and are limited to the aforementioned Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit and Cleveland. Uh, yeah. That’s it. Also, I don’t know when we’re playing again, so get over here if you’re interested. And we’re bringing the Holy Mess (winners of the "sweatiest nutsack in Pennsylvania [group category] three years running) and LORD (featuring Rob Kellenberger from Slapstick, Tuesday, Duvall, Smoking Popes, Colossal, Slugbug, the Quickness and the Reason etc.) along for the ride, so hold onto your panties/jockstraps. And so forth.
