Hey if you can wait we'll be opening distribution in Scandinavia this Fall and one of the shops will be in Oslo if that is close for you. I feel kind of weird having you buy a suit without trying one on, so if you want to have size options and get to try a few sizes to ensure a propper fit you will hav ethat options in a few months. Jsut some information I learned of in the last few days that you might find helpful!

Thanks for the reply. I am Norway. I've checked the european dealers and considering euro/dollar rates, shipping and 25% taxes over the wetsuit (since Norway is not a member of the EU) the wetsuit would cost over U$1000,00. So I think it's easier to get one with you guys.

I'm 5'7" and weigh in at about 135. I surf mostly beach breaks and the la jolla reefs in SD. My paddle strength is pretty decent, i can keep up with the locals on a big day at blacks. Hows a 5'7" for my situation?

I have been using Patagear since the company started
The R4 suit I got from you guys is the best piece of outdoor gear I have ever owned. I have been using in Nor-Cal and winter drift diving on the Colorado River and Frying Pan rivers this winter where the water is 40 degrees. It is more flexible than any other wettie I have owned even my lightweights. I have the hooded version and what I really love is how little flushing there is. You can take a bunch of waves on the head and have almost no water move through the suit. I have come in after two hours in the water and had most of the inside of the suit still dry. If im roasty I just fold back the hood to cool off. I wish the brim on the hood was longer for sun protection I use a sun mask which keeps me mostly covered. When are you going to invent a surfing goggle? Thanks for commitment to quality I am sure this suit will stand up like my stand up shorts (thirty years?) and my great divider(20 years) at the end of the day the most green stuff is the stuff that lasts. Thanks for your sizing at 6-4 165 you are the only suit that makes something that fits. I like the key pocket but have always thought someone should come up with a dry pocket built in to a wetsuit. I use my patagonia fishing belt pack for water ect. but something built in at the small of your back thats 100 percent dry would be handy.Killer product...You would make your papa proud.

You should probably look at the 6'6 Huevo, it will have the foam you need to come off Oregon winters when you are in Mexico, it is stock at 20-5/8 x 2-1/2. Or you can look at the 6' Fark, it's faster, and has about teh same voume with dimensions coming in at 20-5/8 x 2-9/16. Check them both out and see what you think!

The biggest Fark is 6' X 20-5/8 x 2-9/16, considering you'll be wearing a wetsuit you should have plenty of board!

hey gang!

i've been riding a 7.2 mako for a couple years now and love it. only problem is that being a surfer in oregon the waves aren't always meeting the needs of such a high performance board. long story short, i'm looking to add to my quiver. something a bit more versitile and fun when its small and mushy. easy to paddle and fast. really like your FISH but i've had my eye on the FARK for a while. looks like a blast! any suggestions on your end for an oregon beach breaker @ 6'3 185? thanks so much!

hi need some board recommendations. I'm 5'3 145-150, I like the shape of the Huevo. What dimensions would you recommend for someone that resides in Oregon but also takes trips to california, mexico. was thinking 6'0 - 6'4. Want it to be easy to paddle/catch waves, as the fitness isn't always there but not too much of a log feel. I tend to surf in faster wave conditions. I'm open to other models too. cost$?

The Octo actually has a wider nose then the Mako – that's what you're seeing on the link, but what you are not seeing is the extra thickness under the chest on the Mako. Overall the Mako is on the thicker side through the nose of the board, but the Octo will have a little more surface area letting it race through the flat sections. The Mako has a bit more rocker and pulled in tail helping it hold in the hollows and the Swallow tail will actually add to the stability. Paddle wise the Octo will have more stability and have more glide.

We generally recommend sticking with the stock board dimensions since Fletcher has really spent a lot of time perfecting them and they’re guaranteed to work. If you're worried about the float I’d recommend going up in board length a couple inches (like the 6’6). The Quark will have a bit more volume then your Flyer and our board materials add a little more flotation, too. If you're still more interested in the custom option give us a call (805-641-9428) and we can discuss it and make sure we get something appropriately tailored to fit your needs.

Hi,

I am an Australian surfer living in singapore. I am after a 5'8 to 5'10 fish either a twin or quad fin. Unfortunately it is pretty hard to get your boards over here. I go to bali a lot and know the "drifter" shop stocks some of you boards occasionally... but I have never seen a fish there. What would be the best way for me to get one of you boards.
