I liked the book because:

I liked it because it’s a beautiful and sad love story all at the same time.

1. Favorite childhood book? I had a few.

2. What are you reading right now?

I’m finishing up the Uglies series which I really enjoyed. The world would be an awfully strange place if everyone was turned “pretty”.

3. What books do you have on request at the library?

I just got my last one, Tiger Lilly by Jodi Lynn Anderson which I can’t wait to start! It’s about the love story of Tiger Lilly and Peter Pan before Wendy came into the picture, as told by Tinkerbell.

4. Bad book habit? I never have a bookmark so I always grab random things that are near me. For example a receipt, paperclip, scrap paper and most recently tweezers.

5. What do you currently have checked out at the library? Too much.

6. Do you have an e-reader? Yes, I have a Kindle Fire because I like reading e-books and watching netflix.

7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once? I prefer one at a time although I have read 2 at once. I find that if I just read one I can really immerse myself in the story.

8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog? Nope

9. Least favorite book you read this year (so far)? I was not a fan of these.

10. Favorite book you’ve read this year?

I have more than 1.

11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone? Not too often. I would say I did when I started working in the teen area. I hadn’t really read any YA but now I’m hooked.

12. What is your reading comfort zone? Sci/fi and classics.

13. Can you read on the bus? I’ve never tried it but I’m sure I could. I always read in the car on road trips.

14. Favorite place to read? In bed.

15. What is your policy on book lending? I don’t mind at all as long as it’s returned.

16. Do you ever dog-ear books? I did when I was a kid until I came to love books and didn’t want to damage them in any way.

20. What makes you love a book? I’m not sure exactly. It has to have a good flow. I love books that without realizing it I have completely tuned out the world around me and am now living inside the story.

22. Favorite genre? I tend to lean toward historical fiction but I’m loving Dystopian books lately.

31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews? I think everyone has different taste so one person can hate it and it could be someone else’s favorite. So even if I don’t like it I try not to give it a bad review, just an honest one.

It took me a while to get used to her writing style but once I did I actually liked it.

49. Do you like to keep your books organized? I keep them loosely organized at home. Paperbacks separated from hardbacks and I try to keep all the authors separated out by the first letter of their last name. Otherwise it’d be impossible to find anything when I look for them.

51. Are there any books you’ve been avoiding? Not really.

52. Name a book that made you angry. Books have never made me angry. Situations in them have though. I do, on occasion, find myself yelling at a book the way a person does while watching a movie.

54. A book that you expected to like but didn’t? Twilight. It was OK, but I wasn’t ecstatic over it.

55. Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading? Those cozy mysteries. The ones with the crazy titles that make me laugh, such as The Crepes of Wrath by Tamar Myers, On What Grounds from The Coffee House Mystery series by Cleo Coyle or Knit One, Kill Two by Maggie Sefton. The titles crack me up and they’re usually shorter paperbacks so they don’t take long to read at all!

Tell us something about the book: This is such a gr8 story about a boi and a girl and there love of music. You think its going to be like a love story but its not. its all about music n livin with hard things in life like when family dies. And they use there music to heal.

I liked the book because: I didn’t expect the ending

I liked/didn’t like the book because: I didn’t like that it’s not true. The girl was scared of everything.
