I'm not surprised to see that international people are much the same like my folk back there in the village (malaya). The city guys there used to mock our village folk calling them closed-minded and get 'bumbling' when criticized. Well, same here. Same too many which now i know malaysia are not that backwards (in attitude - they seldom praise american, european, british etc. picturing them modern). Well, to me, Seriously; CaninusGirl have given me valuable information about the bull shark and saltwater croc which happen to be my favorite (among). If it's not for her, I wouldn't know the actual / correct info regarding the species. You guys carry on bumbling if towards her (and me, if)... but people like CaninusGirl are rarely found and need to be appreciate (i found lots and lots of people given wrong direction as if they didnt care i got lost... and tired - when travelling.) Keep up the good work girl / lady.

I can not believe you would say this. You are trying to sound educated by using the word carcharias carcharodon inplace of great white shark, but you are clearly extremely uneducated. First of all calling a shark a " hollow-eyed remorseless killer" is so extremely screwed up. Sharks need to eat, just like we do, and its one thing to show an image of a indured human, but showing a seal, that is so ridiculous, that is like saying that a sea lions are hollow-eyed remorseless killers because they eat fish. It is the same exact thing.

I cant believe you would say that about rincon. First of all rincon has NO recorded shark attack EVER. maybe you are santa barbara local and want to scare people out of the water, because everything you just said is bull. Santa barbara is known for sharks, but so what it is so extremely unlikelly to ever even see a shark in santa barbera. I have gone cage diving in south africa (the great white shark capital of the world)twice, and the first time when they chummed the water, not one shark showed up. and we were out there for hours. Also even if you were to see a shark the likelihood of it attacking you is almost 0. Infact there have been many human and great white shark encounters where the shark doest even do anything.

Even though sharks are been depleted from the sea and we need them for things to go right, I love sharks and I grew up with two of his nephew's. I got to see n touch the great whites tooth and still have my t shirt of his quest. I have an infatuation with sharks that very well may have started from this experience.
