2010 Tsinghua University Ranking

THE- QS World University Rankings recently unveiled the 2010 top 200 universities in Asia. To the surprise and dismay of many Chinese, Tsinghua University, the most prestigious universities in the Chinese counted out of the Top 10. On the other hand, two Hong kong-based universities lead the regional university rankings, and Japan enjoys a landslide win with 57 universities listed within the Top 200.

Times Higher Education, a British publication that reports specifically on issues related to higher education, in association with Quacquarelli Symonds, annually published the THE - QS World University Rankings, and it is also considered as one of the most authoritative universities rankings, although the practice of ranking universities is increasingly contentious and accused of prejudice in these years.
