Maternity and Style , it seems like for some women is hard to adjust to their new pregnant body and this makes them make horrible fashion choices . One example of this is Kim Kardashian , her refusal to wear appropriate clothes make her look heavier and all around bad.

One of my favorite maternity brand is Isabella Oliver , they make stylish clothes that look comfortable and you can wear them post pregnancy so that makes them good buys.

So here is the look I created;

So I really like Vivienne Westwood Anglomania , I really love her tops and her cute dresses.

I also like Mulberry but that's another post.

I wanted to do a puffy dress, but I did not want it to be to girly and frilly . So this dress is perfect for that ,while it does have the big bow on the chest I think that the color and print stop it from looking like a child's dress.

I also added a denim jacket , because this gives it more of a rebel look even if the looks is still really feminine .

As you know I love a peep toe and a bow , and while it does have a giant bow on them is a not a super cute and girly bow is more structured than that.

And just some simple gold jewelry to finish the look .

I have been MIA , but I have not stopped making looks. I just forget to post them or don't know what to write.

I saw this really cute skirt and I love all of the little details , likes the pockets and belt. It sort of remind me of a trench coat , which is the point since is Burberry .

So I wanted a simple shirt that had some details that will make her stand out , so this white shirt is perfect. I love the neckline , is really sexy and it shows your collarbone and neck.

Since we are showing so much neck and collarbone , I wanted some really small earrings to not take attention from that.

I love crock texture clutches , so this Asos faux crocodile clutch is amazing and only $35.

I wanted some plain strappy sandals and a big time piece , I'm not 100% happy with the ones I found so I ended using this ones.

I love patent leather , pumps , peep toe and bows. So I obviously love them put together , the Steven by Steve Madden Rosale pump are perfection for me.

They come in black , magenta, blush and blue , I love all of the colors.

I would wear them with a short dress or a pair of cropped slacks and a blouse. You really want to use the outfit to showcase the shoes.

How can I wear a sports baseball cap and look feminine?

I decided to make a little collage of different looks which I think answer the question.

As you can see what makes the cap more feminine , is the women .

I'm a not a big fan of Rihanna's dress look , but she makes it work for her and her figure makes her look more feminine .

The girls with sunglasses are not wearing clothes that are consider super feminine but their other accessories pull together their look.

You can also add bold jewelry , I know big earrings are usually the go to jewelry but in this case the model has two necklaces that add a little extra touch to her small strap tank top.

Wearing your hair down is a plus , you can wear jewelry , sunglasses and bags that will make your look.

How to Rock Lace??

Lace is one of those things that can go wrong so easily , you can either look like your grandma doilies , your first communion or a $2 hooker.

So here are two looks.

This dress from HM , is affordable and really sweet. Is all lace , but it does not take from the simplicity of the dress. The dress is only £12.49.

You can add a vest and make it more modern , like I did . I like the tiers and the way it flares at the bottom tier.

At first I did not like lace jackets ,it was not my thing. But after looking at it and playing around with it , I started to like it.

This is super simple , all you need is a pair of cropped boyfriend jeans , a white top and some ankle booties.

You also need to complete the look a day clutch in a different color . This one is teal and I love it. A gold fringe necklace to make the top more interesting , small gold earrings and bangles.

Simple Color Blocking

I'm not one to go crazy with trends , I like to keep my clothes simple but I like Color blocking a little so I decided to create a look when I saw this really cute and affordable dress from is priced at £38.00

Mustard Yellow , White and Royal Blue are a really simple and cute combination in my opinion and not like the neon color most people are using.

Dress is a simple shift dress with a cowl neckline , which is perfect for small chested girls because it adds volume
The shoes are my favorites , I love wrap around the ankles shoes because I think they are super sexy.
The bag is a day clutch that is a close match to the Shoes and the jewelry are simple gold pieces.

Your Question : How to wear a Fitted Sport Jersey

I'm planning to go to a baseball game and I want to wear a Yankees fitted, but I want to add it to a tomboy/girlie outfit to wear to the game. Do you have any recommendations on an outfit?

There are very few things you can do to a sport jersey , add to it the fact that is hot.

So my recommendation is to wear it with some cropped jeans or Cargo pants , make sure they are fitted . Wear some flat sandals they are cute and feminine plus practical since the weather is super hot and they are comfortable , make sure they have texture or some type of application .

As for jewelry keep it simple , stud earrings you can be playful and buy a pair that has a shape of some type, I find them very whimsical.

Try to find a bracelet that has the same shape as the earrings.

My number one advice for girls going to sporting events , keep it simple and comfortable

I love the details on the dress the rushing on the top and the silver details are lovely. The bag gives you the something blue, the shoes look like dance shoes but I love the strap that sits across .

Vests , How Much I Love Them!

I think is quite clear that I love many things, Vests happen to be one of those things.

I think they are great with almost anything , from dresses to jeans.

So here is an idea of how to wear them.

I would never personally wear a cut our shirt , because I just don't like how they feel on my skin. They just make me feel weird. But you can wear them if you like.

You need :

Vest , I love how feminine this one looks and how it shows of the figure with out screaming look at me.

Short Sleeve top, a simple tank top will do.

Your favorite pair of dark was jeans, every girl has one.

Accessories; They all depend on your style , I pick these because they have lot of small details and I find them fun.

You need a:

A medium size satchel

Stud earrings

Small bracelet

Big Ring

Sandals with chunky heels , they are more comfortable but you can change them for flats.

I love button up shirts , and I definitely love shirt dresses. They are cute , comfy ,and can look so great and effortless.

You can use this outfit for any occasion that requires casual wear.

So I'm combining them with other things I love cropped jackets and ankle boots , since we want to do things are easy to find at your local shops forget the brands and the birkin can be replace by your favorite satchel.

Remember this are just like shopping list , so that you know what you need and how it looks when you are recreating the outfit.

You need a simple shirt dress , if you are crafty you can turn a shirt you already own into a dress.

A short sleeve jacket , you can use pretty much any style . I personally love the safari style and the ones that have drawstrings.

As for shoes , I chose booties but you can chose any pair of sandals that you already own preferably with some texture to them.

For accessories keep it simple ,small earrings , a simple braided leather bracelet with a charm , some sunglasses and your satchel and you are ready to go...

Finally I have been able to get in the blog , for the last couple of weeks I have been unable to access my account since they were doing some sort of maintenance.

But I'm back , with a couple of new looks.

Nothing Crazy , really casual outfits you can use from going to the university to hanging out with the girls.

I love flowy tops, they are comfortable and look super cute. I like pairing them with jeans and lots of bangles , they make me sort of hoboish without looking like a hobo.

My answer
I think you can wear A gshock watch with almost any casual outfit that involves pants or jeans. Is such a strong masculine piece and I love mixing masculine with really feminine girly pieces. So I will do a silky camisole in a really soft color , some pretty earrings with maybe some stones , a blazer that is form fitting to accentuate your figure because bulky clothes takes away from our goal which is to make it feminine and a classic floral scarf . You can't go wrong with this combination , is pretty but the watch will give it an edge.

As for Flats , I'm an avid flat wearer . Now a days there are so many amazing flats that you can use from day time to night, personally I love the ones that have different textures ; I think they add the outfit an interest touch. Most designer and stores offer a flat option .

How did you get interested on designing?

Well I remember I started drawing in junior high but it was just really out of boredom. Then in high school I started drawing these anime characters. At the time, it was just fun and they were cute but the more that I drew the more I realized I was more interested in what the characters were wearing then what they actually looked like. I remember my aunt taking me to MOMA once and they had a costume exhibit and sitting up high on a swing was this stunning pink Oscar De La Renta feathered ball gown and I had such a strong reaction to it. I just thought to myself that is it. That is what I want to do for the rest of my life. From there its just been non stop.

What preparation do you have?
I haven’t had any formal preparation. I took a couple of sketching classes in college which I think influenced the way I draw now but as far as design its just all self taught.

What influences your designs ?
I am influenced by everything and anything. Some of the most random things have influenced some of my designs. A droid commercial, the font on the cover of a book, then more normal things like music, art, nature etc.

Describe your design.
I think that my designs are timeless and classy. Over the years I have realized that my strength as a designer lies in my dresses. I think that a multitude of women can wear them and that is what I want. I want women of every size to put one of my dresses on and have the same visceral reaction. I want them to feel sexy, unique and confident.. I love color and sequins and feathers and drama and you can tell in my designs. I rarely use black or white. I think that any of my dresses can be made in those colors but I think its more fun to experiment. Why have a little black dress when you can have a little pink one?

Describe the women who wears a Scott Emrich design?
My designs are for women with a strong point of view and sense of self. I feel that if you are wearing my clothing you have to own it. She is a business woman, a party girl, a celebrity, a mother…she is someone who enjoys life and enjoys looking good. She isn’t shy and that is perfect because no matter who you are wearing, you have to wear the garment not let the garment wear you

Who is your favorite designer?
I think it would be hard to just pick one. So I will name a few. I love Oscar De La Renta. I love the how feminine and timeless the clothing is and how its hugs a woman’s body. Its never too much or over the top. I love Marchesa the romantic quality that all of their garments have; it just makes you melt. I love Versace. The clothing is so tough and sexy without being ostentatious and I admire that. I could go on all day about designers, I really could. Ultimately, I don’t think that there is a designer out there that I don’t like or can at least appreciate what they are showing. I hope to someday be in the ranks of the designers I just mentioned

Where do you see yourself going as a designer or brand?
Where I see myself going and where I am actually going are two completely different things lol. This is a really tough business to break into, I really feel like a lot of the time it’s luck of the draw. I would love to work on my sewing skills and maybe get onto one of the fashion reality shows that are out there and try to make a name for myself. I hope that one day I am discovered and I can be doing what I love. If not in a couple of years I would like to own my own store where I sell my designs as well as younger designers trying to start out. Until then I will just keep drawing, keep working and keep hoping that my dreams come true.
