Indian actresses as prostitutes

2012-02-07T05:15:00.000-08:00

Most Indian actress regard the prostitute's role as one of the most challenging in their career. While Vidya Balan has expressed her desire to play a prostitute, Rani Mukherjee is Bollywood's favorite prostitute, she has done the role in three films. Of late, Anushka Shetty as a prostitute in Vedam made most men skip their heart beat. Rekha however, has been Bollywood's best prostitute on-screen with the memorable Umrao Jaan. It is quite a challenging role to play and only a few actresses are able to dignify the role without going over board or appearing cheap or fake. There is nothing like bad acting to spoil the role.

Rani Mukherjee played the prostitute in three films -Mangal Pandey, the rising, Laga Chunari Mein Daag and Sawaariya. But she looked her hottest in Rising.

Tabu has played prostitute in the award winning Chandni Bar.

The role of the prostitute has become immortal by Rekha in Umrao Jaan.

Bipasha Basu did the role of a call girl in No Entry. Bipasha also played prostitute in Omkara.

Aishwaya Rai played the prostitute in Umrao Jaan remake but the movie wasn't successful.

Kareena Kapoor played the foul mouthed prostitute with a heart of gold in Chameli early in her career.

Madhuri Dixit played a dignified prostitute in the 2002 superhit Devdas.

Neha Dhupia has also played prostitute in many films, Julie, Ek Chalis ka Local and De Dana Dan.

Sushmita Sen played prostitute in Chingari.

Anushka Shetty as prostitute in Vedam made her look gorgeous like never before.

Vidya Balan may have not done a prositute's role as yet but the talented actress is game for it. See her in a prostitute's getup for a new movie.

Wedding bells are set to ring for actors Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh in March. The excited actor says she was left speechless when her long-time beau popped the question to her after a hard day’s work.

Sanjeeda, who plays an oppressed wife Sejal in Sahara One’s Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage, can’t stop raving about the way Aamir proposed to her. “I wasn’t expecting a proposal from Aamir that night, especially when he had waited long hours for my shoot to get over and I too was drained after giving back-to-back scenes that involved portraying a lot of mental trauma and crying. As I came out of my shot, he stood in front of me, went down on his knees and proposed marriage. That was it, the moment of my life,” said the 27-year-old. I don’t have words to express how am I feeling currently. It’s so special and amazing that our relationship is culminating in marriage very soon,” she added.

Aamir, who teamed up with Sanjeeda for dance reality show Nach Baliye 3, is equally upbeat about the D-day, the date for which is yet to be finalised. Divulging details about his proposal, he said, “I asked her to marry me gifting her a customised diamond engagement ring and then took her out for a romantic dinner date. All the while she was speechless and just flowing in the moment and when she finally accepted the ring, the moment was so intense that both of us had tears in our eyes.” For now, Sanjeeda has started shooting in double shifts for Piya ka Ghar Pyaara Lage to make up for shooting schedules she would miss due to her wedding, especially since both of them have plans to host an elaborate sangeet and mehendi ceremony.

Aarti Chhabria- an angelic beauty!

2011-08-28T00:23:00.000-07:00

Personally:
Aarti Chhaabria was born on November 21,1981. A known face in the modelling industry and a Bollywood actress, her fresh sugary sweet look instantly melted the hearts of many people of india

Aarti Chhabria is capable of speaking many languages english(of course) hindi(why not!), marathi, gujarati and of course her native language sindhi. Do not confuse her with someone related to Dilib Chaabriya.

Professionally: For quite some time, there was not much going for her, but Aarti Chaabriya has still held out strong on her own. She had debuted with Lajja back in 2001. After this she featured in some forgettable movies and stupid roles in movies like Raja Bhaiya,Ssukh, Shaddi no.1. But now it seems she has got meat in forthcoming releases Hey baby, Milenge Milenge and Shoot out at Lokhandwala. Shoot out at Lokhandwala has turned out to be a hit. but Aarti Chaabriya has got little to do in this movie. She plays the role of a bar dancer with two hopeless items songs and a small love-making scene with Tusshar(?).

Aarti Chhabria sexy without being too slim or fat. She is naturally slim and does not tend to put weight..In fact the hot and sweet Aarthi has curves at the right places. This stylish diva has an angelic sexy appeal in her. Aarthi's assets:
1. Her quicksilver smile
2. Her long legs...........
3. Her long and silky hair.
On sex appeal, we can give her...7/10...How do you rate her? Let us know.

Aarthi Chabriya reveals her talents
