Hope you are doing excellent!! I am going to share my experience on Mary Kay® Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 20 in the Shade Beige 1. I have heard a lot about this Brand but never ever used any creams until yesterday. I recently came to know about a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant near to my place. She insisted me to try this Tinted Moisturizer and let’s see what I experienced after going through the product.

My Opinion on the Product.

The formula is Oil-Free, Non greasy, Light weighted and has a SPF 20, Lot of shades available i.e Ivory 1
Ivory 2,Beige 1,Beige2,Bronze 1,Bronze 2 .

Mine is Beige 1 because it just exactly matches my skin color, ivory would be too light and bronze would have been too dark for me. I ordered the Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 20 from a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. It does absorbs well and gives a glow to my skin not oily but a healthy glow, can be seen in the pics below. This product also provides UVB & UVA protection, plus point is it is suitable for all the skin types. It has a buttery texture, and very runny formula. So it blends really well . It also contains some Aloe Extract which doesn’t cause any irritation because aloe is good for skin. The Lasting Power is super awesome for more than 8 Hours. It doesn’t have any Fragrance. It has a Long Tip easy to remove the product. The Packaging is Quite Simple with a Pinkish Cream Tube and a Box. The packaging and Looks are very similar to Garnier BB Cream (Review Here).

It Gives me a Medium to Full coverage, I really don’t need any foundation over this, also it does lessens your dark circles , so people who have intense dark circles need to apply a Concealer over it.

My Likes:

· Shows up very natural skin, doesn’t feel like applied something on the face.

· Contains SPF 20 (although it cannot give you a complete protection from the Sun but not bad )

· Available in 6 Shades (Atleast more than Garnier)

· Approved by US FDA.

· Blends well, Non Greasy, Fragrance Free

· Gives me a glow on the skin.

· Travel Friendly

My Dislikes:

· Expensive

· Availability Issue

· Tested on Animals

Shake well before usage. Apply to a cotton pad and gently cleanse the eye area from the inner to the outer side of the eyes. No rubbing needed. Also suitable for contact lenses wearers.

My Opinion on the Nivea Gentle Eye Makeup Remover:

The Nivea Gentle Eye Makeup Remover comes in a matte light blue bottle, the formula is Oil Free and it is transparent, watery texture, very light weighted and it does removes washable eye shadows and mascara’s. This one is not good on waterproof cosmetics, I tried on my Waterproof MNY Eyeliner but even after 3-4 swipes it wasn’t removed completely. It is good for those who are not using much of waterproof cosmetics. It has a mild fragrance of a Body Lotion.

Pros:

Its Light Weighted, Oil free
Comes in a good quantity
Easily Available
Good for Sensitive Eyes

In the above pic i have used Washable Makeup and Not Waterproof

Cons:

Not efficient for water proof or long lasting makeup
Expensive

My Opinion about the product:

Frankly speaking I haven’t used them on myself yet, since I have recently bought this. But I did swatched it in the mall and on my hand while doing this review, what I found was

Colors are really pigmented, but it would definitely need a proper base before applying these eye-shadows The formula is non cakey, but some fall outs are expected. All the colors are super easy to blend, some does look glossy but actually there are no shimmers which I found really good. Most of the colors look similar when swatched on the hand. But I think may be I haven’t used any base underneath. The Staying Power overall is not bad too, This palette consists of both Neutrals and Pastels Shades which is good while travelling, It also comes in the a Matte Black , Sturdy Box which resembles a plastic case where in we keep our visiting cards but a little bigger in size. The detailed Ingredients and Quantity are mentioned behind the Box, which is really awesome.

The product has lots of variants like Sun kissed Bronzers, Highlighters, Glamour 88 Palettes, Eyebrow Kit , Eyelashes. All are available online in Fragrancedirect.co.uk or Amazon.com

Overall I am loving this product so far, I will soon do a Eye tutorial on this palette to ensure a proper understanding on the texture and shades.

The Top Line shades are mixture of Neutrals and pastels

The Middle Line Shades are a little darker version of the Top ones

The Bottom Line Shades are really Intense shades

Now ,The Blushers and Bronzers are all glossy and great texture but too light shades so i won’t be using these as intended but think of using them as a highlighter or blending the crease.

I really dint find the Brushes and the Applicators quite useful as they are the similar ones which we get in all the palettes

My Recommendation:

Yes , It’s a travel Friendly palette , Inexpensive, can be used by the beginners as well, Active Cosmetics is also known for their Lashes , so I think of soon buying the Lash and Eyebrow Palette.

Tips on simple Summer Looks

Summer brings with it a ghastly image of runny foundation, smudged Kajal and clumpy mascara. And that only seems normal with the soaring temperatures. What do you do then, if you’re the kind who can’t do without your daily fix? We got the experts to show you the lightest looks you can opt for.

Look 1

Ø Use a light moisturizer followed by a very light compact to keep the skin matte and fresh.

Ø For the eyes, use a hint of waterproof kohl and mascara. If you want to dress up, use winged-tip eyeliner or colors like green, blue and grey, apart from the classic black and brown.

Ø Use only a bit of the cheek tint, which is great for summer. If you use too much, it will streak.

Ø Apply a pop of color on your lips, directly or using a lip brush. A hint of gloss just at the centre of the lips gives a good finish. Using a lip pencil to fill in a natural color on the entire lip along with some pink gloss gives a subtle yet finished look.

Look 2 (My Favorite Look)

Ø Begin with a tinted SPF moisturizer. A BB cream is your best choice this season because it acts as your moisturizer, sunscreen as well as foundation.

Ø Use eye shadow in a neutral shade to brighten up your eyes. You can also use it on the bridge of the nose and cheeks to highlight your features for an evening look.

Ø Use a coral blush, matte or slight shimmer for day and evening both. Use sheer blush to make your face glow.

Ø Sheer orange gloss or tinted lip balm is a good choice for summers. Avoid wearing anything heavy or sticky on the lips.

Ø Choose brown, charcoal and plum pencils for light yet defined eyes. Add a dash of mascara (make sure it’s light and non-clumpy).

Look 3

Ø Massage your skin with a generous amount of moisturizer.

Ø Use primer to even out the skin texture and ensure a better finish for your foundation.

Ø Use a Concealer if required to cover any shadows or discoloration on the skin.

Ø Apply foundation with a brush. Set it with translucent powder for long-lasting results and to take away excess shine from the face.

Ø Use a bronzer to get a flush of color in an orang-ish-brown color.

Ø Apply a layer of eye shadow in toffee and caramel with groomed brows and add mascara on the lashes.

Ø Use nude, coral or toffee colors on the lips

How have you been? Today I would be sharing my views on an Intense yet beautiful looking palette from Deborah Milano. Most of you might not go for such bold or dark colors on eyes, but I really love dark and intense shades on my eyes occasionally or some time when I am in that frame of mind.

How to use: Used dry the finish is sophisticated and luminous, while used wet the result is metallic and visually dramatic.

My take on the Product :

The formula of these shadows is most pigmented and it does pops out the shade very well. These baked trio eye shadows come in a round palette with a see through plastic lid. The Staying power of this shadows is super awesome, I had applied this in the morning for the tutorial and it lasted for about 6-7 hours.

All the shades are shimmery and the most important quality of this palette is that it can be used even with wet shadow brush and the colors shows off really well, metallic & dramatic. I was amazed to see such colors, It has a Shimmery White, Shimmery Black and Shimmery Navy Blue (Oouch), Blue did I see blue …normally we see White, Black and Grey, but blue…I loved it when I swatched it on my wrist, the colors were really looking amazing. They all have a smooth touch and spreads easily over the eyelids.

It comes with an bend applicator brush which I haven’t used yet, it sort of okie-doke,

It comes in a sturdy palette and it is quite travel friendly.
Staying power is amazing .
Inexpensive.
Could be used wet but I've not tried it though.
The texture is very smooth and glides easily
I love the tiny shimmers it has.
What I have noticed in this particular palette is once the color is wiped out the shimmers are also gone whereas in many palettes tiny shimmers exists even if the color is being wiped off.
I especially bought this for the navy Blue color which is superrrr awesome.

My Dislikes:

My only con is a base should be applied with the dark shade.

My Opinion on the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector

Garnier has another variant with a new BB Cream in their Miracle Skin Perfector range that is oil-free and intended at oily & combination skin types.

I am using this BB cream from last 15-20 Days and what I have found is :

The formula is very Runny and easy to spread, unlike the original one which was too thick and creamy. I was not fond of the earlier one but this one I am in love with this Oil-free version. The packaging is quite thin and has got a pointy tip. This cream gives me a medium coverage , it does hides any redness and dark circles. The lasting power is amazing, it lasts about 5-6 hours for me. It doesn’t have any fragrance so I really like this little miracle cream.

The oil free texture mattifies my skin, I have a combination skin so I think this product works great on me. It also has UV Protection with 20 SPF whereas in the earlier one it clearly stated that it had UVA and UVB so this cream with SPF 20 dint sound great to me because have to use a separate sunscreen if I am wearing it in the day time. The earlier BB Cream never suited my combination skin. It used to give me a matte effect but more of a cakey side. I am so happy to say the Oil-free version is a completely unusual thing, it also gives a matte finish but it is very light on the skin and it blends so well because of its runny texture that no flakiness is visible.

I prefer the yellow tone of the Oil-free version. The color is also slightly lighter than the original. Main Advantage is it moisturizes the skin without adding a bunch of Extra Oil.

Cons:

In my opinion, had it got a pump dispenser for such a runny texture it would have been more comfortable.

Available in 2 Shades Only.

Recommendation:

I Would highly recommend this product, As its visible below the dark circles in my first pic has got lightened after the application, the redness near my nose area is diminished, also a visible difference in neck area too.

Today i am sharing an Important article with all of you. 9 Common Mistakes which can affect our skin .Women are often willing to suffer deprivation or discomfort in the name of beauty, but mistakes are often made and some of them can lead to lasting effects.

Mistake #1 “I’m tired, so I’ll just go to bed”

Disregarding this first rule of beauty is proof that you do not love yourself. Do not be surprised if your skin repays you with irritation, inflammation or, God forbid, pimples. Think of taking down your makeup and the cleansing procedures as relaxing, not exhausting. But be careful not to go too far. Squeaky clean skin is usually suffering from disturbed pH balance and hydro-lipid layer, which, roughly translated, is an open invitation for bacteria and a working order for all sebaceous glands.

Mistake #2 The rosy-cheeks doll

The purpose of blush is to enliven the face and to underline certain features. Some ladies think of it as an anachronism, while others use tons of it in an attempt to sculpt the nose and the oval of the face, while also making the cheeks skinnier. The result is a rosy-cheeked doll. The color of blush should also be taken into consideration. The effect of pink, peach or bronze-hued blush is more natural and elegant. The darker tones of blush have no enlivening effect, but can even make the skin look older.

Mistake #3 Rock-heavy eye lashes

If you have already applied 2-3 layers of mascara and it doesn’t seem to be enough, that means that your mascara is not of the best quality or it has expired. The right way to apply mascara is not to rub it on the lashes, but to follow their curve, evenly spreading the product along their whole length. Be careful with volume mascara. If you apply too much of it to the lower lashes it will begin to crumble and will make you look like a panda. If you do not apply it to the lower lashes you will look pale. Lengthening mascara also has a trick to it – wait for the first layer to dry completely before applying a second layer.

Mistake #4 The shiny face

We should clarify that the shine created by light-reflecting particles in foundation or face powder is not the same as and should not be mistaken with the unpleasant shine of oily skin. The former makes the face look bright and fresh, while the latter makes the face look dirty and untended. Shining of any kind should be avoided in the T-zone. If you wish to look like a runway model, then you will have to master the secrets of bright, glowing skin. You can add cream highlighter or silver face powder to the inner corner of the eyes, the upper lip, the area above the cheekbones and along the hairline.

Mistake #5 Neglecting the brushes and applicators

Applying foundation with your fingers is convenient but it is not always right. Some makeup like blush and eye shadows are better applied with the appropriate tools. This way you can be sure that your makeup is done properly and that you will not look like an enraged Navajo. One of the advantages of applicators is that they use less makeup. Some of them are especially designed to follow the curves of the eyes or face. The round rouge brush for example has a dome-like shape with shorter hairs at the edges. The eyebrow brush, which looks like a tiny slanted hoof gives the eyebrows a natural look.

Mistake #6 Fighting against visible wrinkles

The standard rule of prevention certainly applies here. Wrinkles are much easier to prevent than to treat. The aging process begins not at the age of 25 as was previously thought, but much earlier than that. The oxidation stress, which is a result of free radical action and UV rays, is the culprit. It’s easy to imagine how it works – just visualize a piece of apple browning in contact with air or a work of iron getting rusty. So the best friends of contemporary young ladies are not diamonds but antioxidants.

Mistake #7 The UV victim

You will easily recognize her – she looks like Donatella Versace’s twin sister. There is a difference between an even bronze tan and the skin of a dry prune. Many ladies limit their sun exposure and make up for it in the tanning beds. Their belief is that tanning beds spare them from the dangerous UVB rays of the sun. My Opinion:

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil is a much hunted product, my shade is 623A Purple Velvet which is a Glossy Purple Shade with a grey Undertone, It has a creamy, non-crease formula that glides on smoothly and can be used as both an eye shadow and an eye liner. These Jumbo pencils are opaque and can to be used as a base underneath the eye shadows.

The texture of Jumbo Eye Pencil is slightly sticky but being a cream formula it’s easily blendable. It comes in a plastic white tube with all the details from Made in to the ingredients which I loved. Transparent Cap/Top helps us to identify the product easily. If applied by itself it lasts for about 2 hours..Because it smears away, therefore to maintain the color it’s always advisable to use a shadow on it. If your eye shadow is not pigmented as required try to use these as a base and it would look awesome.

Pros:

· Base for the eye shadows or pigments

· Does not crease or dry out

· Apply it lightly for a wash of color by blending with a finger, under the eyeshadow.

· Creamy texture highly pigmented, some shades are perfect for the waterline to open up your eyes.

· Is available in an astounding array of shades for day and night as well.

· Jumble an eye shadow and eye liner all-in-one

· NYX is a Cruelty free cosmetics brand.

Cons:

· Major con for me is I don’t have a sharpener. L, wish to get it soon.

· Lasting power is poor if applied by itself also it leaves a stain behind.

In the below pic, the sunlight is directly on my Eyes hence it is looking more Pinkish whereas in the above pic , i am a bit far away from my window.

Products i have used to create above look : I have used NYX Jumbo Pencil Purple Velvet as a base ,Pinkish Purple Eye shadow from Inglot Shade no 386 for this Look., Colossal Kajal, Maybelline Gel Eye Liner and Colossal Mascara.

Recommendation:

Yes I highly recommend this product there are also other shades which are worth trying Black Bean, Slate, Yogurt and Milk (Milk is definitely the highest selling Jumbo Pencil )

Now coming back to my blog, Oiling hair is a practice followed by women and men since long throughout the world. This practice makes hairs stronger, softer, and shinier. It can be done either with a small amount of oil as a leave-in treatment, or a larger amount can be used and then washed out after it has worked its magic.

Today I am going to review a product which is useful for people who frequently color their hairs or for those who wish to keep their colored hair look glossier and shinier.

My Product today is Garnier Fructis Oil Replacement Color Last Double Nutrition.

Let’s see what the company Claims:

Nourishes your hair for a better color, your colored hair is protected and color lasts longer.

Grape seed oil: for intense nourishment from deep within the hair fiber.

Acai berry: enriched with anti-oxidants to preserve color and prolong vibrancy and shine.

Result: Your Colored hair is protected from excessive aggression. Your hair looks healthier and shinier, with a fresh, fruity fragrance.

Price: 200 ML for 4 RO ( appx 500 Rs)

My Opinion on Garnier Fructis Oil Replacement:

I have been using this product since two months to give my frank opinion on the product for this review

Firstly, the product claims that it’s an Oil Replacement with Double Action... Since I sometimes color my hairs it’s good to apply a product which protects my hair color and prevents the color from getting off quickly after several washes.

This product keeps up what it claim…It does gives my hair a sheen and it does make my hair color lasts for several more days from the actual staying power of any hair color. It has a fruity fragrance (L) and the formula is super creamy.

Oil makes our scalp greasy but this product is not greasy at all. It can be used once in a week.

It is not a product which increasing your hair volume. It is just good for a glossy finish. You would really find your hair looking much healthier and soft.

Ingredients:

Cons:

· Fruity fragrance which I am not fond of on hairs like I cannot just apply that fruity fragrance for more than 30 mins because it really annoys me. I would have tolerated it if it really helped me in increasing my volume but again this is a biggest disappointment.

· Expensive though.

· Not a travel Friendly tube.

Recommendation:

Since the benefits of different oils are many its better if you do a small research relevant to your own hair and scalp issues, such as dandruff, enhancing volume, itchy, flaky scalp or falling shine etc.

Whether I would buy again ?

No I wouldn't because of the above mentioned cons.

Hope everyone is doing fine. I was actually surprised with the Lip color Shades which Lakme and Elle18 have recently launched. They have actually come in action past few months. There was a time when Lakme was commonly available, whenever I used to go for shopping, I used to just get Lakme ONLY ever since new brands have taken over Indian market they have lost their attention. Good they are back in action. Even I have not got much of Lakme but recently I got two Elle18 Lippies out of which I am gonna review one today.

I had always been using Neutrals/Pinks/Corals on my lips but never tried such a bright color. I bought this because Elle18 products are easily available + they are good quality & of course affordable as well.

My Shade today is Elle18 Color Pops - Roasty Red 15

What Elle18 Claims:

Elle18 is a color cosmetics range launched in 1998. Elle18 Color Bombs is an exciting and funky range of color cosmetics and has been designed for young trendy girls. The range designed in cool shapes has explosively vibrant colors for lips, nails and eyes. The products are packed with the goodness of Cocoa butter, Jojoba Oil, Rose Water and Almonds.

Elle18 Color Pops - Roasty Red 15 Details

A blast of color with the punch of cocoa. The intense moisturizing core in the center protects and cares for your lips.

My Opinion:

The formula of Elle18 Color Pops - Roasty Red is very creamy and moisturizing because of the balm built-in inside the stick. The color is Red with orange undertone. It has no shine but due to the balm it appears a glossy finish. It has a sweet smell, which really doesn't bother me since it goes off in some time. Normally, I don’t like wearing bright or dark lip shades, I like to keep myself a bit on a natural side. The packaging reminds me of Mac Lippies.

It glides smoothly on the lips and doesn't settle between the cracks, but it leaves a stain behind.

The Lasting power is just of couple of hours but good for a product so cheap and branded too, I am sort of okay with the texture and the whole thing, not actually in my favorites.

I Remember, I used to buy these when I was in college, at that time the packaging was something in Pink but the formula used was almost the same. This really is best option for college goers because it’s quite affordable and it has a variety of shades.

Price: Got it from India for Rs 100 /-

Quantity: 4.3 ML

For proper defining of the lips I have used a lip liner from Revlon color stay in the shade Red.

Pros:

Reasonably priced
Available in huge range of shades.
Travel Friendly, Light weight.
Staying power is good

Cons:

Ingredients are not mentioned on the product L
Color Shade is not visible from the Outer packing

My Final Verdict:

I am not that fond of these Lippies but would definitely try colors before buying something in high end.

Good Evening!! Hope everyone is doing fine. Who doesn’t have Dark Circles, Tan Patches and Spots? There may be only some of them blessed with glowing and healthy skin. But for many of us those problems have become our nightmare. For permanent solutions we have to visit doctors, eat a healthy diet, use skin cream which is a lengthy procedure and ultimately we have to do but for a temporary solution the best way to hide them is to conceal them by using a good Concealer or eraser. Today many such products are available in the market, & Out of those many, I have found the perfect shade and texture for myself. So I thought I would like to share my views on it.

MaXFactor has one such product which is a temporary solution for all the above problems

My Opinion:

The formula of MaXFactor Erace Concealer is not very creamy but not too thick, this Concealer can be easily blendable with fingers. This product covers the dark circles, dark patches and any redness visible on the skin. For best results apply a translucent powder on it.

I personally wear this under my eyes and it lasts for several hours. It’s really good for people who have oily skin because it gives a matte finish. It does not have any sparkles or glitter or any shimmer. It’s better than all the high end products, seriously this Concealer does it all. The packaging is like a lipstick tube with blue and golden color at the outer part.

It has a very light powdery fragrance which many won’t be fond of. I really don’t mind the fragrance as far as the product works fine for me.

It comes in a smaller size of a lipstick packaging, I have compared my Revlon Lipstick with MaXFactor Erace and you can see the difference below.

Price: Made in Ireland. Not sure about the availability in India but I got for 3 RO in Muscat (Approx 430Rs in India).

Quantity: Not mentioned

Pros:

· Covers Dark circles, Pimples, Spots, It gives medium to full coverage

· Travel Friendly, Light weight, Small in size can fit anywhere easily even in a wallet.

· Inexpensive as compared to other high end products.

· Glides easily with fingers.

· Gives a flawless effect.

· Long Lasting.

Cons:

· Dry Skin people couldn’t use this because it would be hard to blend on them.

· Availability Issue.

· Fewer variants to choose from.

· Quantity and Ingredients are not mentioned on the product.

My Final Verdict:

I am in love with this product and surely would buy again, Give it a try if possible. As I have mentioned below, people with oily and combination skin can go for this product. Also if anyone suffering from any skin problems should consult doctor before using all such face products since the ingredients are unknown,

My Opinion on Gold Dust:

· The shade is a proper Nudish/Beige with some sparkles in it. It turns orangey shade on me.

· It has no smell and taste also the formula is not sticky

· It does last for couple of hours and leaves a Nudish stain behind but with no gloss, so I have to keep retouching to get that glossy finish on my lips.

· The packaging is slender and well-designed, with a semi-matte black cap with a transparent tube which shows the shade perfectly.

· The wand has a small sponge applicator brush which picks up good amount of product.

· I usually love Nude /Natural colors with pink or brown undertone.

· With this shade I had also applied a very light Lip Liner just to define my lips properly.

· I personally believe that this shade would be perfect on any Nude Lipstick or with Revlon Color stay Smooth Nude Shade.

· Major con of this product is , it cannot be applied as a lipgloss on any lipstick coz It would change the color of your lipstick from the actual shade to some gold finish look.

Recommendation :

I would recommend this shade particularly for those who like nude lips with an illusion of sparkles.

· It catches the light, the silver tone is really prominent, but otherwise this nail color has the prettiest pale silvery mauve tone.

Hope you all are doing very well, My recent purchase is Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Lipstick in the shade 016 Heart Breaker. It's a dark fuchsia pink, perfect cool-toned raspberry lipstick..and yes it is perfect shade for summers too.

What Rimmel Says on Lasting Finish Lipstick

What makes this lipstick different from all the others? "The improved formula incorporating Color Protect technology gives up to 25% more color impact. Enriched with 50% longer-wearing color-boost pigments so you will turn heads wherever you go.

Price : In Oman, 2.3 R.O Approx 320 Rs , but its way cheaper in India guess it is somewhere Rs 215 from Slassy.

My Take on the Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Lipstick:

The texture of the lipstick is creamy and quite moisturizing. It does not last for 8 hours as described though. I wore it all day yesterday and re-applied about 2-3 times throughout the day, which doesn't really worry me.They have wide range to choose from.

I really love this color, well I'm pretty overwhelmed with Rimmel's lipsticks they’re affordable and have great pigmentation & lasting power. It is a bit drying so ensure you have a balm on underneath. The packaging is simple, fairly sturdy. I am pleasingly surprised by the sweet, bubble-gummy smell of the lipstick! Once you apply the lipstick on your lips, the scent will fade away in a matter of minutes. It’s creamy and super easy to apply, gliding on quite nicely. Their lipsticks are well priced and I think they are fairly good quality.

Cons:

The color does last but tends to fade slowly, I think I’ll try a lip liner with it next time and give it a go.

To conclude with, it’s a nice girly shade and I will continue to use the shade I have and may possibly purchase others in the future.

My review today is on an Eye shadow Palette from NYX.

My Opinion on the I dream of Barbados:

NYX is a brand with some excellent quality eye shadows. I dream of Barbados is part of NYX’s Caribbean Collection of eye shadow palettes which contains 5 eye shadows .This particular palette is cool-toned, purple and lilac themed. There is a light-medium pale lilac with a frost finish, charcoal-black with a silver sheen , Barbie pink with blue undertones , cool-toned bluish gray with a soft frost sheen, and a fuchsia-purple with a satin sheen.

Of all the palettes I swatched at the counter this was the most pigmented one.A mix of purple, pink, grey, and black.Great for a purple Smokey eye.Colors are great together. The pigmentation is super (unfortunately there is some fallout).

What NYX claims about I dream of Barbados :

Like a sunset blazing over a tropical beach, these collections each of five best-selling NYX eye shadow colors are undeniably dreamy. Each of the different eye shadow palettes is inspired by an island getaway. Expect rich pigments, lasting payoff and jet-set glamour.

· Can keep experimenting with this palette. It seems like every-time I wear it I create a different look with it.

· All 5 shades are well pigmented.

· You can use the 3 colors for day and the other 2 colors to darken the eye makeup for night.

· Really love how compact it is. And yes, I'm planning to get more the next time I buy from NYX again

Cons of I dream of Barbados:

· Little fallout

· Base has to be applied before applying them

Would I recommend I dream of Barbados?

I HIGHLY recommend this one. An Ideal Palette for a Purple Smokey Eye.

My Opinion on MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara

Since I got this as a gift it is too tiny (5.3 ml) (sample size). It comes in Gel formulation. The mascara has a fiber brush that is extremely good at coating your lashes with the product and at the same time separating them. Normally we wiggle a lot to separate our lashes but here I dint give any effort because the wand is very nice and easy to use. As you can in the picture it is dome shaped wand which helps us curl our baby lashes at the start and end of the eye. The consistency is not too liquid and not too thick... I have naturally fine but long eyelashes hence I don’t use an eyelash curler so I found that ALOT of mascaras clump on me. I usually apply 2 to 3 coats of the mascara, my lashes look extremely natural. Here in this case you don´t have to use eye make-up remover with oil and don´t have to rub like crazy to get this off….But people who are looking for a dramatic effect can avoid this. Its sort of a standard black mascara that doesn't flake or give you raccoon eyes, gives you definition/length/volume and holds a decent curl.

My Likes:

· Gel consistency is super awesome.

· The packaging is very much like "Max Factor" with gold and black finish.

· It comes in 3 Variants i.e. Black / Brown Black / Deep Blue

· When applied, it gives me dark, defined and perfectly separated lashes..

· Its available in waterproof

· The wand (Called as High Tech IFX Brush) which comes in it is quite easy to hold and it evenly coats individual lashes, even those hard to reach ones at the corner of your eyes and for lower lashes as well since it has got perfect dome shaped brush.

My Dislikes:

· I am not sure about the availability in India

Would I recommend MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara:

Yes of course…I know ladies do wish to have beautiful eyes and mascara plays the important role into it…so try this one and I assure you won’t regret buying it.

My Opinion on Oriflame Triple Core Lipstick:

Oriflame’s Triple Core Lipstick in Ravishing Rose is a peachy pink color on my lips it shows very neutral pink … it’s an everyday wear look. It’s really creamy because of the balm inside the core and can glide very smoothly..it clearly reminds me of Revlon’s Lip Butter in Pink Truffle (Can see the picture here) . Almost similar shades….but Oriflame’s Ravishing Rose have some silver shimmer in to it… The texture is quite velvety and rich that enables really good spread and application of the product . Staying power is just 2-3 hours without eating or drinking. The lipstick outer packing is similar to Lakme Absolute range.

Pros:

· The color is rich and has a variety of shades to choose from.

· Quite light weight.

· Can be used with a Lip liner for just a sexy pout.

· Easily available through websites like Snapitoday / Oriflame Representatives.

· I am fond of the shade, it would suit many skin tones

Cons:

· I found it quite expensive

· Staying power is just 2-3 Hours

· I was not loving the packing... Moreover I found the packing very low quality.

· Precise color shade is not visible through the outer packing.

. For a visible color 2-3 Swipes is a must.

Final Verdict:

Since i am fond of neutrals and nudes i loved this shade..but found it too expensive.

Hope you all are doing fantastic. My review today is on my favorite cream eye shadows Maybelline’s Color Tattoo 24HR stay Edgy Emerald and Pomegranate Punk.

I have already done a review and swatch on Maybelline’s Color Tattoo 24hr stay On and OnBronze

Lets begin with What Maybelline says about it:

For Best Results

· Illuminate. With fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards. For added drama, darken as desired.

My Opinion:

Get to apply very smoothly and evenly, it has a really creamy consistency that enables really good spread and application of the product without having to layer it or worry about it catching on itself. When I applied it on me, the color lasted for a full 12 hours without fading or creasing with a primer. The texture is quite creamy that it can be blended with fingers or with a sponge applicator.

Price : Rs 350 in India

Edgy Emerald is an Aqua-teal with a shimmery finish.

Pomegranate Punk is a warm Cranberry /Plummy shade ideal for Indian Skin tone

Pros:

· The color is pigmented and has a variety of colors to choose from.

· Really quick and easy to apply

· Inexpensive

· Easily available through websites and stores.

· Can be used as a base underneath the powdery eye shadows.

· Only one color also comes out good, no need to apply any other eye shadow.

· Flawless, shimmery, natural-looking coverage, long-lasting wear.

Cons:

· To open the jar it is confusing... I thought it would be on the opposite side... The label is on the bottom side also.

· Can be used with a sponge applicator or with bare fingers. Brush would become messy.

My Opinion :

It is easy to blend into the skin even though it is highly pigmented so I would recommend applying a little and building it up. It has some shimmer in it which makes the blush great. I in fact love this blush on my skin tone, it gives such a pretty glow with a sheer wash of color and it blends so very well. The brush included with the pack is not very dense and it hurts me when I apply it on my cheeks.

My Likes:

· Blends Well

· It’s a bit shimmery, which doesn't make me use any highlighter

· Good for summers

· Total 6 colors to choose from.

· Good for Indian Skin tone

· Can be applied with fingers

· Very Inexpensive as compared to other brands

My Dislikes:

· It can be a little dusty /Powdery .

· Would love if a small mirror is also attached.

· The brush that comes with it hurts me. (this is my personal opinion, other may not be affected depending on the skin)

Would I recommend:

Yes, I found it suiting my skin tone and inexpensive too for a better quantity.
