Are You Quitting The Wrong Thing?   </title><content type="html">&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;How hard is it for you to quit?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Sometimes it seems like we have it backwards.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We tend to quit on the things God is telling us to do that are good for us and yet we fail to quit the habits and things we know are not good for us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;People tend to hold on to habitual sin even though they know it is bad for them and they let go of reading God's Word and living life according to His Word even though they know it is good for them.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;It's time to get it right.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It's time to let go of those things that are not of God and to pick up those things we know God has told us to do.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The thing is, change is never easy.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Have you ever heard the saying, old habits are hard to break?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It is true.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Letting go of habitual sin is hard to do and starting all over doing a new thing can also be hard to do but we must try.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If we step out on faith doing what God has told us to do, we have to trust that God will step in and help us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Quitting should not be hard when it comes to sin and easy when it comes to the things of God.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It should be hard to quit on God and easy to quit sin but we have become desensitized when it comes to sin.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;People in the world look at sin as normal behavior and they look at serving God as abnormal.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Our perception of life and how we live life has to be different from the perception of the world.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Let God be your normal and let sin be abnormal when it comes to it operating in your life.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Be uncomfortable when it comes to sin.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Sin should not be your comfort zone.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: red;"&gt;SCRIPTURE MEDITATION&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in; text-align: center;"&gt;2 Corinthians 1:4&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in; text-align: center;"&gt;“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;R. margin: 0in;"&gt;God's desire is for us to be led by Him and His Word but the devil's desire is for us to be led by him and his words?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Who's words are you following?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;What is speaking to your life?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If what is speaking to your life leads you into sin, that is of the devil.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If what is speaking to your life leads you to be holy as God is holy, that is of God.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It really is that simple.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The process of doing it is not simple but God was very clear about the line between holiness and sin.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Difficulty comes in when we try to come up with a compromise to justify our sin.&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Some things we try to bring into our lives are obviously noticeable that they don't fit in our lives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We have to learn how to let go of the obvious people, places, and things that are out of alignment with God, His Word, and His will for our lives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We have to learn how to let go so that we don't occupy space nor time for what God is truly trying to bring into our lives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We have to let go so that we don't delay God's blessings.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Remember, God is trying to do a new thing in You, for You, and through You and it comes with the process of growth.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Just like a baby tooth has to come out for a new tooth to grow in it's space, so it is with the things of God.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We sometimes must let go of what has been occupying space in our hearts, minds, and lives in order for the seed of God's Word to grow so that He can do a new thing in our lives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;The Bible tells us to endure.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The situation tells us to give up and quit.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;What voice are you listening to?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Are you listening to the voice of God which is fueled by meditating on His Word or you listening to voice of your situation that is fueled by your emotions?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Life can be hard sometimes but even in the hard times, God is still there.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We may not understand why we have to go through what we are going through but we must always remember, God is on our side.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He has promised to take care of us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He has promised to shield us and to protect us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He has promised to make a way for us.&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;We have to understand what is included in our salvation.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We have to know that our salvation includes preservation, protection, and deliverance from danger.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It also includes supernatural assistance from God.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;When you believe something, you take it as fact.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;You take it as what is known and proven to be true.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Do you believe God?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Are you taking His Word as your truth?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The Bible documents God's truth.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It shows us how He divinely intervenes and supernaturally provides.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It shows us what He will do for those who put their trust in Him.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It confirms who He is and what He will do.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We just have to accept His written Word and let it be the foundation for the truth we believe and stand on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;So often in life people (including us) get caught up on what we don't have that we think we need but the question is, do we really need it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;God said in His Word that He knows the things we have need of and He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Instead of getting caught up and disappointed in what we don't have, we have to switch our focus on God and trust Him to supply those things that He knows we need.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;We have to learn how to trust God completely and that means trusting Him to be the source and resource for our lives.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;What is it about you that is threatening your enemies around you?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Could it be the light and the life within you?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The thing about light is that it exposes darkness.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;What darkness is it around you that you are exposing that is causing your enemies to feel the threat of your presence or should I say God's presence working in you and through you.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If the light within you is never being seen then you pose no threat to the enemy and there is no need for him to target you or attack you.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Don't be moved by the threats or attacks of the enemy.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Know that you are covered by the blood of Jesus and remember, your shield of faith is able to quench every fiery dart of the enemy.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The enemy will shoot his fiery darts but they can't hurt you or harm you because God is on your side.&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;Doing what God wants us to do will not always be easy.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;There will be times when you are called to pray when you just want to lay in bed and sleep.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;There will be times when God tells you to walk in love when the person He is telling you to show love to has many attributes that are unlovable.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;There will be times when God tells you to forgive someone when all you can do is think about how they hurt you and you tell yourself what they did was unforgiveable.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;But remember, we are called to do what God wants us to do and that can't be based on our emotions and our feelings.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; margin: 0in;"&gt;When God tells you to pray, remember, someone prayed for you.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;When God tells you to walk in love, remember, you are loved.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;When God tells you to forgive, remember, you have been forgiven.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;
