Another gifted piece from Gentle Fawn - this lovely blazer. It's seriously the perfect transition piece for this season, as it's so lightweight and it goes with everything in my wardrobe. I love the baggy, unstructured fit of it - gives it more of that boyfriend look don't you think? If you can't see so clearly, my Wildfox tee says, "let love rule." This shirt is definitely a vintage inspired gem, throwing me back to the good ol' Woodstock days, when love, peace, and music conquered all. Hey, I'm all about that. Love trumps everything, in my world at least. X, A.

So I decided to title this post, "Neverland" - as this shirt (especially the collar) reminds me so much of Peter Pan. For those of you who sadly missed out on that Disney classic, "Neverland" is a magical place where you never grow up. There's always times when I feel like going to a place like that, where time doesn't matter and you can just stay young forever. We all have stresses in life and sometimes feel that we want to be little again and return back to the days when life was simpler and more carefree, but as Carrie Bradshaw says, "the best we can do is breathe and reboot." Here we have it! Another gifted piece from Gentle Fawn - this little blue sweater is so great for layering and can really be worn all year round. It's so lightweight and easy, definitely thinking of wearing it this summer on the beach over a bikini. I got these floral print skinnies at H&M about a month ago, I just love the relaxed, loose fit on them - these jeans are certainly a trend that have been in full bloom lately. These Sperry Top-Siders are the perfect modern twist on the classic boat shoe that all of our daddys know & love. The metallic hue gives the outfit such a touch of completeness, don't you agree? Happy Tuesday everyone!! So sorry that I've been MIA lately, I was in New York for the weekend for a family affair, had so much fun, but so glad to be back in my city of angels! I recently received three adorable pieces from Gentle Fawn, a contemporary clothing line that speaks for people who follow their own paths in life (take me for example). Moving to LA from New York was a huge change for me, but it's exactly what I needed to get a different perspective and I've never been happier. It's so important to choose your own path in life and to always follow your heart, no matter where it may lead you. I really love Gentle Fawn as they manage to create a line with the perfect blend of functionality and great designs, mixing together both urban elements and elements from nature as well. So yeah, I received this dress from them - I just love everything about it, especially the faded floral print it's got going on. It's a very different piece, one that is unlike anything I own so I was happy to throw it on and style it up for you guys! New posts coming this week featuring more Gentle Fawn pieces!!

True Religion x Chic N Rock Look #3

So here is my last outfit post from my collaboration with True Religion Jeans for Coachella 2013! I hope you all enjoyed these few posts featuring some awesome pieces that True Religion had sent over to me prior to the music festival (that was hands down amazing by the way). This vest is most certainly my favorite piece that I received from them. I know I will be living in it.. but actually though. I love the distressed feel of it, as it almost gives it a retro feel - sort of a throwback to the 70's, agreed? I purchased this floral dress at a flea market a few months ago. I remember first laying eyes on it and falling completely in love with the print and the colors. So I thought this entire outfit really symbolized street style at Coachella (at least what I picked up from it) - which was carefree, bohemian chic, free-spirited, lightweight, fun, and feminine. True Religion had sent over another pair of denim shorts that were unfortunately a little big on me but I'm trying to shrink them since I'm obsessed with them, so if that works then I will definitely be featuring them in an upcoming outfit post. Xx!

Here it is! My second outfit post for my awesome collaboration with True Religion! Aren't these shorts just adorable? They're definitely my favorite item out of the pieces they sent over to me. I just love the floral embroidery stitches on them, as they give the shorts such a girly little touch - oh and they're just too perfect for music festival season, agreed? This is one of my favorite shirts as I'm such a big fan of butterflies, as I think they symbolize freedom, growth, and most importantly (as it says on the shirt itself) - change. Change is something we all need to embrace every now and then. Change brings us new opportunities and new beginnings - which is what life is all about. Xx!

I was lucky enough to receive a free ticket to Coachella Weekend #2 from them and part of my duties was taking street style pictures at the festival and styling some awesome pieces that they sent me, including these denim shorts. I love the wash on them - so perfect for summer (oh and I'm really digging the way they're frayed). I decided to go with a bohemian, hippie theme here by incorporating this adorable fringed shirt & these suede booties that have the fringes on them as well. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

So for those of you who haven't seen "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" - let me just tell you, it is one amazing movie. It's a coming-of-age comedy-drama film, one that I promise will stay with you forever. I never read the book so I had no idea what to expect from the film, but I was honestly so blown away by it. I also love that Emma Watson stars in it, as she is one of my favorite actresses (huge Harry Potter fan right here). This video above is the final scene in the film.. I strongly encourage you to watch it. It's just so powerful and so relatable. I know that whenever I watch it, tears stream down my face as it's so incredibly heartfelt. It's sad yet uplifting, and leaves you with chills all over your body. Nothing like a great movie clip to really put life in perspective for you. It teaches you so much about love, trust, and hope - the things that truly matter in this world. Hope you all enjoy this & definitely try and get around to watching the full movie if you haven't yet. Xx!

So I received this adorable bag in the mail from Yes Walker, a website that offers a great collection of bags and shoes for us accessory-obsessed girls. Oh and did I mention that it's extremely affordable as well? Be sure to check it out.. I can guarantee you'll find some goodies. This bag here is the "Push-Lock Satchel." Hi everyone!! Sorry if I've been MIA lately.. I was at Coachella all weekend! OMG, it was amazing. Literally, cannot even begin to express to you in words how much fun it was. It's literally a different world, between the music and just the overall atmosphere - it was perfection. Let's just say, I will definitely be back next year, the year after that, and so on (you get the point). Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to bring my big camera in so these iPhone pictures are the best I can do to give you guys a glimpse into my Coachella world this weekend. So here it is - the last outfit post from my Mixology Spring 2013 Lookbook Photo-shoot!!
