Thank you for all your emails. Im doing pretty well now. Been back to the hospital today for another blood test and should get a call for the Warfarin Clinic before 5pm today with the results.

Hi everyone.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and sorry I've not been around. A few weeks ago I was lay in bed watching a bit of TV whilst my other half was watching a film downstairs. For no apparent reason the muscles in my chest went in to spasm...or so I thought at first. The pain just got worse and worse until I couldnt bear it any longer. I was crying as the pain hurt so bad that I couldnt breath without unbelieveable pain. My 12 yr old daughter came in the room and saw me crying and asked if I wanted her to fetch her dad I said no as he was watching his film...thankfully she ignored me and told him anyway...before I knew it I was in an ambulance with a canular in my arm..morphine and oxygen which I thought was a bit much for a pulled muscle lol. Tho it soon became apparent with the pain it was more than a pulled muscle...

I thought I was having a massive heart attack. At the hospital it was manic with Drs and nurses all around me and I must say for the first time I got scared. Then I was given clot busting drugs and told I had clots that had passed through my heart in to my left lung and for every clot that went through my heart it felt like another heart attack. I was admitted to a ward and then the pain got worse still so they were giving me morphine every hour and I was told I had more clots now in my right lung. I could bearly breath and only managed with lots of oxygen and even more morphine.

Almost 2 weeks later and feeling a bit better but still on a massive dose of Morphine I was allowed home. I am now off the Morphine but still undergoing treatment with blood thinners and I have to have bllod tests every couple of days whilst they try and find the right level of thinners I need. It should be a 6 mth course but they now say I have to stay on the thinners for life due to my lack of mobility but thats a small price to pay for my life.

I am now slowly building up my strength and today is the first day on the computer but I hope to be back to making a new kit and freebie very very soon.

May I also take this time to thank Paula from the bottom of my heart for all the support and phone calls so she could stay up to date and more than anything for continuing to run the store single handedly as well as looking after the designers and redesigning the store and zen cart. The success of the store has been solely because of you Paula and I really do appreciate everything you do and continue to do. We could have never had started this venture without you xxxx

I have never been a defeatist so I am coming back fighting. We are in the process of setting up a brand new store.

Thanks to the unbelievable talent of a 15 yr old lad called Nick we are in the processes of setting up the stores pages etc assisted by Paula and myself. Although the name is similar (The Creativity Shack) thats the only thing in common. The rules of the store for designers are very different from most. At the moment the store is far from ready but we have a store blog and forum (you are more than welcome to join the forum now) now set up.

We are hoping to get the store up and running within the next week or so. We have to work around Nick and him attending school so he can only work when he gets home. I cannot express enough our gratitude to Nick and all the time and effort he is putting in to get the store up and running.

We already have a list of fantstic designers that have already accepted our offer to join the store but you will have to wait to find out who they are hehehe and we are in the process of trying to build up a CT team as well. We are always on the look out for new designers and CT members and we are in need of a CT manager.

So the offer to designers

We do not have any contracts for you to sign as we feel that its better for you to design because you wish to not because you are contracted to.

We will only be doing a maximum of 4 collab kits per year. One for each season that way you are not under pressure to design for us and can consentrate on your own kits and making your own income.

There will be no set up fee, no monlthy fee and we will only take 15% of your sales just to put towards the up keep of the site. The rest of the cost will be absorbed by us

If this interests you please email me at admin@thecreativityshack.com with a lil bio of yourself and a sample or a link to where we can view your products just so we can see what your style is. We welcome designers that are new to designing/selling as well as ones that are already established but just wish to expand their sales

If you wish to join our our laid back team again just send us a lil bio so we can all get to know you a lil and samples of your work or a link where we can view one or two of your LO's

The Creativity Box

As most of you know I am no longer part of The Creativity Box as I was locked out my own store, forum, yahoo group etc but thats by the by. This post is to verify what I have and more importantly HAVE NOT DONE

Mandy text me and called me names I'd rather not repeat and said I have deleted the store. Firstly I had NO access to the store in any way shape or form so was NOT in any position to do anything to the store. After several txts between mandy and I and Mandy speaking to the host company she has now appologised as I had NOT done anything to the store it is a SERVER issue. So I would be greatful if I am not accusing of ANYTHING unless you have the FULL facts and EVIDENCE of what it is I am supposed to have done.

This situation is one that I would rather leave behind as a part of my past. I have NOT and would NOT be as childish as to do something to another store (plus I was in no admin position to be able to do anything to any where as that was all changed whilst i was in bed with a migraine) I am in the processes of setting up a new store so I have just picked up and moved on (Not that that was MY choice) It has cost me a further $166 (£109) to set up another store . So I am happy my name has been cleared.

I hope you will all stop by when we open as from my point of view it will be business as usual. I wish Mandy and her shop all the very best and as far as I am concerned that is the end of the matter.
