Keith Kamholtz's graduate thesis, 'Surrogate Mechanica', is a 1-minute commercial for a robot designed to carry a developing human baby in its transparent mechanical womb. This, of course, spares a couple the pain, hardship, and risk of carrying and delivering the child. This sort of technology could also potentially allow infertile couples and/or same-sex partners to have a family as well. It may be rather far-fetched, but hey, you never know!

The Early Modern Era of revenge drama can essentially be boiled down to key components, a chain of events that build around a core of recurring themes and archetypes. The setting is always a place full of corruption, especially from self-serving leaders: they are vice-filled; sometimes a touch unhinged, and unbound by their power, be it inherited or stolen. These villains harm others with a reckless passion and then move onto the next helpless, innocent victim. Inevitably, one of those victims get overcome with a spirit of vengeance that leads to an assault on the very villains that have been too powerful to previously confront. But, in turn, the very corruption that these heroes have faced warps their sense of justice to turn them into twisted versions of their previous virtuous selves.

This is a revenger. Batman meets many of these qualities, but he is also very different: he meets many of these components but fails to go over the line somehow. He is every bit a modern Revenger, from origin to setting to many of his stories, but in a way he has evolved from the roles of the early revenger and has created a new image of the revenger hero. His fight isn’t solely against the darkness of the world around him, but also the darkness within. And so, I would say, that Batman is the modern product of Revenge drama themes, a man against the law but not against his morals.

In March 2010 a ridiculously over the top with its Freemasonry/Illuminati connotations advertising campaign for a company named 63336, shows the people proudly displaying the mark 63336 tattooed onto their chest or other body part, with obvious clear reference to 666 the mark of the beast. The TV advert is full of Freemasonry and Illuminati symbolism, and even forms part of the company’s logo.

It’s well known, that the drinks industry is run by an elite group of Freemasons, and also in 2010, Heineken the makers of Strongbow Cider – blatantly included their allegiance to Freemasonry, in a impressive advertisement more reminiscent to a scene out of Triumph of the Will, a propaganda film made by Leni Riefenstahl, which chronicles the 1934 Nazi Party Congress known as the Nuremberg Rally which was attended by more than 30,000 Nazi supporters.

The initial “Green and Pleasant Land” of London's Theme for the opening ceremony was quickly deconstructed by rhythmic drumming and scenes which resembled a “Borg assimilation” of the landscape. As suited representations of the elite surveyed the scene with pride, the tree placed upon the Glastonbury Tor mock-up was uprooted to allow a flood of industrial workers to ascend from the underworld. It was nothing short of a destruction of nature and tranquillity, delivered with pomp and circumstance. As Kenneth Branagh stood on a platform surrounded by 9 columns of light, great industrial towers rose above the spectacle – reminding me of scenes from the John Hurt version of Orwell’s 1984.

Most people believe that when they buy something that they truly own it. However, when you understand the truth about maritime law, you will clearly see how this is nothing more than a system of control set up to enslave the people through fraud, subterfuge, and outright lies.

Historically, when people used gold or silver as actual currency, ownership of the object purchased transferred from the seller to the buyer. If a chair was purchased for $10 and the buyer paid in $10 worth of gold or silver, it was an even exchange and thus the buyer completely owned the chair. Today this is no longer true.

In 1913, the 16th amendment was ratified with authorized the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank (The FED). The FED then created the "Federal Reserve Note" which is not true currency at all.

In 1933 the United States was taken completely off the gold standard. Unknown to most, each U.S. dollar has a "lien of ownership" that follows it wherever it goes. This lien transfer's ownership of anything purchased back to the institution that created it, in this case the Federal Reserve Bank.

Article 1 section 8 of the U.S Constitution states that Congress alone has the right to "coin money". However, The FED is a private foreign bank and the U.S. dollar is not United States money, despite the fact that it says "Federal Reserve Note" on each dollar printed. This is very important to understand and set in mind.

Ever since the "ratification" of the 16th amendment and the creation of the "Federal Reserve note" nothing that you purchase is truly yours. Ownership of all items purchased ultimately reverts back to the "Federal Reserve Bank" or (FED) due to the "lien of ownership" or "Maritime Hypothecation" that is attached to every dollar created by the fed.

"By 1938 the gradual merger procedurally between law and equity actions (i.e., the same court has jurisdiction over legal, equitable, and admiralty matters) was recognized. The nation was bankrupt and was owned by its creditors (the international bankers) who now owned everything -- the Congress, the Executive, the courts, all the States and their legislatures and executives, all the land, and all the people. Everything was mortgaged in the national debt. We had gone from being sovereigns over government to subjects under government, through the use of negotiable instruments to discharge our debts with limited liability, instead of paying our debts at common law with gold or silver coin. Due to various sleights of hand perpetrated by crafty lawyers beginning in 1852, a change from the common law over to maritime law took place. This change allowed the courts to now take control of all commerce on land as it does on the seas. Because we are under maritime law, humans themselves are now considered "a vessel on the seas". This gave the government the right to ticket, tax and even deny people the right to a trial by jury and due process, effectively bypassing our guaranteed constitutional rights.

This maritime law now applies to money because of something called a "maritime hypothecation". An

"Hypothecation is the practice where a borrower pledges collateral to secure a debt or a borrower, as a condition precedent to a loan, has a third party (usually an affiliate) pledge collateral for the borrower. The borrower retains ownership of the collateral, but it is "hypothetically" controlled by the creditor in that he has the right to seize possession if the borrower defaults. A Maritime Lien or Hypothecation, sometimes referred to as a "tacit hypothecation", is a maritime lien on a vessel, given to secure the claim of a creditor who provided maritime services to the vessel or who suffered an injury from the vessel's use. Maritime liens are sometimes referred to as tacit hypothecation. Maritime liens have little in common with other liens under the laws of most jurisdictions.

The maritime lien has been described as "one of the most striking peculiarities of Admiralty law". A maritime lien constitutes a security interest upon ships of a nature otherwise unknown to the common law or equity. It arises purely by operation of law and exists as a claim upon the property concerned, both secret and invisible, often given priority by statute over other forms of registered security interest. Although characteristics vary under the laws of different countries, it can be described as:

1. a privileged claim,

2. upon maritime property,

3. for service to it or damage done by it,

4. accruing from the moment that the claim attaches,

5. travelling with the property unconditionally,

6. enforced by an action in rem.

This "lien" is both secret and invisible. It normally applies to ships at sea, but since all humans born in the U.S. are now also considered a "vessel on the sea" we also fall under this jurisdiction, as does our currency. How are we considered a "vessel on the sea" you're probably wondering???

When a ship pulls into a dock (in the water), it is assigned a "berth" which is "the space allotted to a vessel at anchor or at a wharf". The ship is also assigned a "berth certificate". Currency is exchanged for the offloaded goods delivered via the dock to the country taking ownership of said goods.

Every human being is born out of water from their mother's womb. The mother is sent to the delivery room to be delivered by the doctor (dock), and afterward the child receives a birth certificate by the country of birth which now indicates that person as a citizen. The child is literally owned by that country. How?

The doctor (dock) is paid with Federal Reserve notes, which contain the lien of ownership upon every dollar created, so even a child being delivered from his or her mother’s womb becomes the property of the institution that created the currency, in this case, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank. This means that the Federal Reserve Bank literally and legally owns everything purchased with those dollars, including you!!

STRAWMAN or straw man, as defined in Black’s Law Dictionary, 6th Edition: A front; a third party who is put up in name only to take part in a transaction. Nominal party to a transaction; one who acts as an agent for another for the purpose of taking title to real property and executing whatever documents and instruments the principal may direct respecting the property. Person who purchases property for another to conceal identity of real purchaser, or to accomplish some purpose otherwise not allowed. It is said that you can regain control by taking out a lien against your birth certificate.

There's no telling when the deception really started, but one of the first major events was the incorporation of the United States in 1871, with the final act occurring in 1878. It appears from the Statutes at Large that this was only the incorporation of the District of Columbia, but in the final act the phrase District of Columbia or United States is used making the phrases interchangeable and allowing the United States to operate as a corporation.

The so-called government is not the government created by the Constitution; it is a Corporation operating in COMMERCE for PROFIT.

Every transaction is now considered by the US, INCORPORATED to be a commercial transaction by fictional entities (fictions at law).

What is a Fiction at Law?

A fiction at law, or legal fiction, is an artificially created entity that is only contemplated in law. In other words, it is not real except in the eyes of the law written by men.

Legal fictions are the opposite of natural entities, such as people. A created legal fiction is endowed by the law to have some privileges that resemble the rights that people have, such as the right to hold property and to sue and be sued.

The most common legal fictions are corporations and trusts. These have been around for quite some time with their main purpose being to limit the liability of the people holding the corporation or trust, allowing them to NOT be personally responsible for their actions.

Legal Fictions are not compatible with the Common Law, which is the law our land was founded upon. In common law, everyone is responsible for his own actions and is held accountable and responsible for any wrongdoing (harming another in any way)

What does this have to do with me?

In 1933, the governors of all the states met to discuss the emergency declared by FDR and to support the new process that was being established. The government was in bankruptcy and had to be funded in its state of bankruptcy.

The governors made a pledge to the U.S., INCORPORATED to fund it. The pledge was that the assets and the energy of the people would back the government and secure the debt but there was one little problem. Natural living people cannot mix with legal fictions (corporations) so it was necessary to create a bridge between the fictions and the people to bring the people under and make them subservient to the government corporation.

When the governors made the pledge, they agreed to register the birth certificates of the people with the U.S. Department of Commerce. The birth certificate is the security instrument (collateral) used to back up the pledge. The legal fiction was created by using the name on the birth certificate and writing it in all capital letters, the designation for a legal fiction. Then, because of the pledge YOU were determined to be the surety TITLE 31 U.S.C. (the one who is responsible to pay) for the legal fiction.

So, when the government or any corporation uses any process whatsoever they are using it against the legal fiction, which they want YOU to think IS YOU. But when your name is written in all capital letters, IT IS NOT YOUR NAME!! It is the designation of a legal fiction that is an entirely separate entity. A living human cannot be a legal fiction, and a legal fiction cannot be a living human. One is real or natural; the other is created by law.

Whenever a government agency (such as a court) determines liability it is a liability of the legal fiction or STRAWMAN since everything is done in commerce. You are presumed, as evidenced by the pledge of your governor, to be the surety for the STRAWMAN and you must pay the liability.

You are the only one who gives value!

Since you are the only one who gives “value” to the birth certificate due to your labor, you, are the only one who can go to the bank and redeem and regain control of the birth certificate. Just like the car. The car gives value to the title to the car. You give value to the title, the birth certificate. Without you, the birth certificate is worthless.

Right now even though they have no legal right or claim or lien, the bankers control your “title”/birth certificate. Some say that you can regain control by simply filing a notice of lien against the birth certificate. It is said this is done every day. Banks file notices of liens with the department of commerce to prove and establish their interest in all kinds of property... homes, cars, tools, equipment. This is done very simply by contacting the secretary of state or dept. of commerce and filing a UCC-1 financing statement and listing the property as collateral, on the statement. The idea is that the same can be done with the birth certificate, which is your property. You and only you can file this notice of lien... you and only you, can determine the value of the property.

Since you are priceless in God's eyes the value of your UCC-1 should be UNLIMITED.

With all those raging hormones, every teenager is bound to “lose it” at one time or another. But a recent study suggests that adolescents’ attacks of anger may indicate something more serious than your standard puberty-related mood swings: nearly two-thirds of youth report having had a bout of uncontrollable anger that involved threatening violence, destroying property or engaging in violence toward others, and nearly 8% — or close to 6 million teens — meet the criteria for intermittent explosive disorder (IED), which is characterized by persistent, out-of-control anger attacks that can’t be explained by a mental or medical disorder or substance use.

The findings, by researchers at Harvard Medical School, came from national surveys of nearly 6,500 American teens, aged 13 to 17, and their parents. The researchers found that IED was more common than thought, and that it is severe and persistent; kids usually start showing signs of IED in late childhood and the disorder persists through adolescence, the authors say. IED in teens is also linked with later problems, like depression and substance abuse in adulthood.

The study found, however, that many teens weren’t getting the help they needed. Among the study participants, 38% of those with IED received treatment for emotional problems in the year prior to the survey, but only 17% of these teens — or just 6.5% of all teens who had diagnosable IED — had received treatment specifically for anger.

If IED could be detected and treated early, however, clinicians could help prevent a substantial amount of future violence and related mental harms, said senior author Ronald Kessler, professor of health care policy at Harvard Medical School.

To meet the definition of IED, according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a person must have three episodes of “impulsive aggressiveness grossly out of proportion to any precipitating psychosocial stressor,” at any time during their lives. In the current study, the researchers also used narrower definitions of IED that required attacks of anger within the previous 12 months and found that many teens met the standard. (The study excluded teens with other mental or emotional disorders like bipolar disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder.)

“It’s a problem because it really gets in the way of your life,” says Kessler. “There are lots of things people don’t get treatment for because it doesn’t really impact them. This does. The problem is an awful lot of people have it — more than I thought — it’s awfully chronic, and it’s impairing.”

The authors find that IED is not only underdiagnosed, but understudied as well. They write: “The number of PubMed research reports dealing with panic attacks is roughly 60 times the number dealing with anger attacks even though the lifetime prevalence of IED is considerably higher than the prevalence of panic disorder.”

Part of the problem may be that overly angry or aggressive people fail to acknowledge their own behavior. “I think one reason [IED] is understudied is that people who have these anger problems very often do not consider it a problem. They don’t go in for help. They may get arrested, but they don’t seek help on their own,” says Kessler. “Some things like this and other social disorders can fall through the cracks, and this is one of them.”

The authors say further research is needed to understand the risk factors for IED in teens and to improve diagnosis, screening and treatments.

The findings are published in the journal Archives of General Psychiatry.

Shows and Movies Changing Our Youths Behavior

Televison Shows Which, Through Mind Altering Messages,

Turn Our Youth Into Rebellious, Sexually Promiscuous, Self-Centered, Disrespectful and Desensitized.

The young cast members are paid to do nothing but party and create drama. With partying, comes drinking, mistakes, and confusion and this show is designed to “appeal” to the young viewers. MTV is glamorizing a lifestyle of drunken mistakes. We see out own everyday teen aged girls with their hair done up in the famous snookie hairstyle (The poof), trying to talk like Snookie, and even act like Snookie. These young girls must think that the Jersey Shore cast are just the coolest. I look at them and see changes in her personality. Why? Because look who their role models are! People who drink their problems away and let their hormones do the talking.

Another effect is that children begin to show bad behaviors, like fighting, using profanity, etc. For example, a reality TV show that airs on MTV called The Real World, majority of the roommates fight a lot and use profanity over the most idiotic and unnecessary things due to either misunderstanding or high intake of alcohol.

Pay close attention to what you see, because you have no idea how much it impacts you and your children as people.

"Noneducational" reality TV includes shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Teen Pregnancy, and My Sweet Sixteen. These prime time shows target youth, but they do not teach lessons. In fact, they do the opposite, since many young people think it okay to emulate these reality show stars.

These shows promote drinking and heavy sexual content. Nonetheless they air in the time slot that targets youth. Kids seem to be growing up faster than just 20 years ago; perhaps disrespect and aggression can be blamed on the influence of the shows they are watching.

Instead of fighting and being rude to each other, it would be nice if the characters in these shows could, for example, reflect how ten ordinary people come into a house and work together to make the quality of life better for everyone. They could show the reality of working together to pay the bills and keep food on the table. They could teach how to step in when something bad happens to someone else and help them get back on their feet in one way or another.

Video Games:

A study of video games found that the few female characters in those games are often highly sexualized—wearing tight revealing clothing and having unrealistically large breasts and distorted small waists. (Girls and Gaming, Children Now; 2000)

Video games and other media sometimes use prostitutes as characters that are targets for the male hero. In a game from the Duke Nukem series, prostitutes are forced to strip and are then killed. In the number one selling video game for 2001, Grand Theft Auto III, the player can "clobber" a prostitute with a baseball bat, with a new game technique, that allows the player to feel he or she is really doing this. In other popular media, prostitutes and strippers are often included to add scenes of female breasts and rear-ends on camera. These "games" offer viewers images of women and female sexuality associated with exchanging sex for money, and sex with violence.

Non-realistic and unhealthy body image:

The women seen most often in the media are fashion models, pop stars (singers) and actresses. (We don’t like the word "supermodel," ‘cause they really don’t do anything that super.) Many women seen often in the media, especially models and increasingly actresses, are seriously underweight, and many diet and smoke to keep their natural weight off. (A girl or woman who diets and is underweight can be undernourished, sometimes even losing her menstrual period. Prolonged loss of periods can lead to fertility problems---while constant or extreme dieting also carries health risks and can actually lead to long-term weight gain.) In a 1992 study of female students at Stanford University, 70% of women reported feeling worse about themselves and their bodies after looking at magazines. (A British study also had a similar finding.) Roughly 50% of teen girls in the U.S. read teen or adult fashion magazines. (Body Wars)
In movies, body doubles are often used to substitute for "imperfect" female movie stars (such as America’s favorite actress Julia Roberts, in one of America’s favorite movies, Pretty Woman). Eighty-five percent of these body doubles have breast implants. (Jean Kilbourne, Can't Buy My Love, 2001)
Scientific evidence suggests many women with breast implants have some adverse affects: pain, permanently deformed skin if implant is removed, loss of sensation in breast, interference with early detection of a tumor, and potential links with serious auto-immune disorders. Studies show that all plastic surgeries among teens increased by almost 50% from 1996-1998, mostly for girls. At the same time there have been more advertisements for breast implants and other surgeries, and more models, actresses, and singers as "advertisements" for the surgeries (think Cher, Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, Mariah Carey, and some have suggested, Britney). Words expressing hate and disrespect toward girls and women are used frequently in popular media, and especially on TV and radio. Use of words derogatory to girls and women like "bitch," "slut," "whore," and "ho" can be heard on many TV and radio programs, especially those watched and listened to by kids, including WWF (wrestling) programs, That 70’s Show, and Boston Public, as well as on the radio.
Advertisements from some segments of the fashion industry use images of violence against a woman and try to make it fashionable or erotic. An ad for jeans in Elle shows three men physically attacking a woman; an Italian edition of Vogue shows an ad with a man pointing a gun at the face of a naked woman wrapped in plastic; from an American skateboard manufacturer, an ad aimed at young men shows a man pointing a gun at the head of a female, along with the slogan "bitch." By age 18, the average American child will have viewed about 200,000 acts of violence on television alone.
The level of violence during Saturday morning cartoons is higher than the level of violence during prime time. There are 3 to 5 violent acts per hour in prime time, versus 20 to 25 acts per hour on Saturday morning.
Media violence is especially damaging to young children (under age 8) because they cannot easily tell the difference between real life and fantasy. Violent images on television and in movies may seem real to young children. They can be traumatized by viewing these images.

Media violence affects children by:

a) Increasing aggressiveness, rage and anti-social behavior.

b) Increasing their fear of becoming victims.

c) Turning them against their parents, making them disrespectful to their parents, elders and authority figures; sometimes even violent.

d) Making them less sensitive to violence and to victims of violence.

e) Increasing their appetite for more violence in entertainment and in real life.

Media violence often fails to show the consequences of violence.

This is especially true of cartoons, toy commercials and music videos. As a result, children learn that there are few if any repercussions for committing violent acts.

Parents can reduce the effect media violence has on children by:

Limiting the amount of television children watch to 1 to 2 hours a day.
Monitoring the programs children watch and restricting children's viewing of violent programs.
Monitoring the music videos and films children see, as well as the music children listen to, for violent themes.
Teaching children alternatives to violence.

Parents can help children develop media literacy skills by:

Helping children distinguish between fantasy and reality.
Teaching them that real-life violence has consequences.
Watching television with children and discussing the violent acts and images that are portrayed.
Ask children to think about what would happen in real life if the same type of violent act were committed. Would anyone die or go to jail? Would anyone be sad? Would the violence solve problems or create them?

Vatican analysts agree that the pope's butler, the mild-mannered 46-year-old Paolo Gabriele, could not have acted alone and is not the whistle-blowing mastermind.

Gianluigi Nuzzi, the Italian journalist who published the leaked letters, will not reveal his sources. And he's is not at all convinced about Gabriele's guilt.

"It's the Vatican press office that announced that many documents were found in the butler's home," Nuzzi says. "Now, if he is the whistle-blower he must be really stupid to hold on to all stuff. And it's very disturbing that the trial will be held in secret."

But even if Vatican trials are closed to the public, analyst Politi says, news of the proceedings will leak out and provide further embarrassment for Benedict.

"The pope in the last six to seven months has let happen so many scandals about money and [transparency], that now the Roman Curia and Catholic public opinion is in great disarray, everybody asking, 'What's going on?' " Politi says.

Like 9-11 we are told the lie and chose to believe it. The Godfather 3 was actually telling us the truth of a corrupt Vatican, and an honest Pope who was going to clean it up but he was murdered while only in papacy for 33 days.

This is not the first Vatican Scandal but the one which first drew media attention

In the early 1980's, the Vatican Bank scandal erupted in Italy, bringing to light corruption of unprecedented proportions within the Catholic Church's hierarchy.

The scandal was covered on a daily basis by the Italian press, but very little was ever mentioned in America, as a veil of silence, still existing today, protects Vatican corruption from ever getting into the mainstream and even the alternative American press.

In fact, the bank scandal which brought down the Bank of Ambrosiano in Rome, leading to the execution-style murder of the bank's president, Roberto Calvi, came on the heels of the assassination of Pope John Paul I. With John Paul I out of the way, the corruption in the Church continued as usual with Archbishop Paul Marcinkus of Chicago, head of the Vatican Bank, given a clean slate and protection from Pope John Paul II.

Further, researchers surmise Calvi was killed - found hanging with heavy bricks tied to his body -- because he was preparing to spill the beans on top-level Vatican and Italian government officials. These included Marcinkus, members of the Jesuits, P2 Masonic Lodge head Licio Gelli, and members of the U.S. government and intelligence community, all working hand-in-glove to defraud the Italian people and the European banking community.

Michele Sindona (66), the most important economist and banking expert of the 70's in Italy, died in the high security Voghera prison in Italy - after eating his dinner.

After the collapse of Sindona's 'Banca Privata Unione' in Milan and the 'Franklin National Bank' in New York, the financier was arrested in America and sentenced to 25 years imprisonment. Even though he strongly contested it, Sindona was extradited to Italy. "I am not going to survive there for long," he said. "It was murder," his lawyers now claim.

In their opinion, suicide was ruled out.

Yet, Michele Sindona had top class contacts. Not only was the Mafia and the illegal secret lodge P2 under his influence, but Sindona also made big business with the Vatican. His friendship with Bishop Paul Marcinkus, who controls the considerable finances of the Vatican, was a thorn in the side of Pope John Paul I. The Pope had emphasised several times that the profiteering of the Vatican bank was not according to the will of Christ, and that the money belonged to the whole church. After the Pope's mysterious death, the rumours that the high banking circles like the Mafia or P2 had had a hand in the affair, increased and are still circulating. Archbishop Marcinkus was already under the wing of the Jesuits, and had been previously tagged as a CIA/ Nazi spy working underground in Poland to sell out his people, along with liberal priests who were sent to concentration camps and killed.

Furthermore, it must be noted that Archbishop Marcinkus, who died when he was 84 in Phoenix, Arizona, was at the heart of the bank scandal, having been indicted by Italian authorities for fraud as well as being suspected of having a hand in the murder of Calvi, found hanging by the neck under the Black Friars Bridge in London.

Although Calvi's death was classified as a suicide, a proper investigation was never conducted. Family members still pursuing justice claim he was murdered by the Vatican-led Illuminati, who feared Calvi was not going to go away quietly and take the fall for his bank's demise alone.

Looking back, the story was big Illuminati news back then in Italy, with Archbishop Marcinkus indicted and at the center of both the scandal and the Calvi murder. However, with bribery being an important part of the Vatican arsenal, Marcinkus' case was never brought to trial, as he Vatican paid more than $250,000 to the Italian government to have the case dropped.

Meanwhile Marcinkus, under the cover of night, was given diplomatic immunity by the Vatican and U.S. government, quietly being shipped away to a Catholic Parish in Phoenix where his activities were limited to saying Mass and the Rosary.

Although Marcinkus was far away from the Rome scandal, the story and Calvi's murder always haunted him until his death last year. Italian prosecutors, as well as this journalist, were hot on his trail, trying to secure an interview just prior to his death.

As for the Rome prosecutors, they recently re-opened the Calvi case, bringing several Mafia members to trial last year for their alleged involvement, as well as trying to secure testimony from Marcinkus, vital testimony being blocked by his Illuminati handlers.

As for this reporter, never allowed to interview Marcinkus in the early 80's by order of the Vatican, it was this publication's intention, better late than never, to go to Phoenix to meet with Marcinkus. A dialogue to secure the interview was being conducted with a family member only 10 days before Marcinkus was found dead at the age of 81 of an apparent heart attack in his room at the Phoenix Parish.

During the dialogue with the close family member, who insisted on Marcinkus' innocence, this reporter said he would give the Archbishop the benefit of the doubt, promising to ask questions about who then were the real culprits and promising never to release Marcinkus' video-taped testimony until the Archbishop passed on.

Leaving the conversation 10 days before his death at the point where the family member stated Marcinkus was aware of the Arctic Beacon web site and this reporter's stories, this reporter was told Marcinkus would be asked, despite his frail health, if he would consent to the interview.

Unfortunately, shortly thereafter it was reported in the Associated Press, local Phoenix papers, and the Catholic press that Marcinkus had suddenly died of natural causes due to a heart attack, passing away quietly in his sleep.

When the family member was later asked if anything suspicious was found regarding the Archbishop's death due to the interview requests by both the Rome prosecutors and this reporter, the family member denied anything suspicious, saying he only knew what was being reported by the Church, which was that Marcinkus had died of a heart attack.

With Marcinkus now gone, researchers and this reporter surmised the Jesuits were most likely pulling Marcinkus' strings since they control Freemasonry with the only names logical to pursue being the Jesuit General himself, Fr. Peter Hans Kolvenbach and one of his trusted henchmen, Jesuit Bishop Pavel Hnilica.

Among those linked to Calvi was Archbishop Paul Marcinkus. Ordained in Chicago, Marcinkus was posted to the Holy See in Rome, and served in the Vatican Secretariat of State.

Among those on trial in the murder of Roberto Calvi is gangster Flavio Carboni, considered a "fixer" with ties to police, political groups, intelligence services and the Vatican. Banco Ambrosiano backed a risky construction project Carboni had launched in Sardinia. He also admitted being with Gelli in London with Calvi after the embattled banker had fled in the wake of the Ambrosiano collapse. Skeptics say thatCarboni was a close friend of Calvi's and had no credible motive for carrying out the murder.

He rapidly moved up within Vatican bureaucracy from personal papal bodyguard to head of the IOR -- a post he held from 1971 to 1989. There he worked closely with international financier Michael Sindona to expand the Vatican's portfolio of international holdings, transforming the Institute for Religious Works into a quiet but reliable shelter for questionable capital. Sindona, laundering money from associates in organized crime, funneled huge sums of money through Banco Ambrosiano and the IOR. The Vatican Bank also worked closely with the United States government as a cover money conduit to groups like the Solidarity Trade Union in Poland. Thanks to Marcinkus, Sindona was to become a "man of confidence" within the Vatican who enjoyed unique access to officials of the Holy See, even the pope.

Michael Sindona had been among Calvi's patrons at the Banco Ambrosiano, and helped expand the small "Catholic bank" into an international financial institution. Sindona's financial manipulations make a story of their own, and investigations after the Ambrosiano collapse would document how his elaborate international network of banks and offshore companies served as vehicle for laundering dirty money earned from everything from heroin traffic to "soft money" investments.

Perhaps the most mysterious character in the Calvi saga was Liccio Gelli. A former member of the fascist Black Shirts Battalion and liaison between the Mussolini regime and the infamous Herman Goring SS Division in World War II, Gelli survived the conflict and amassed an impressive list of contacts. He also obtained sensitive information on hundreds of key political, military and financial figures not only in Italy but throughout Europe, Latin America and elsewhere thanks to his access of files from the Italian secret service (OVRA) and possibly British Intelligence. Gelli helped to smuggle Klaus Barbie, the infamous "Butcher of Lyon" to safe haven in Argentina, and even managed to sell his services to the CIA and NATO. He also ingratiated himself with the regime of Juan Person in Argentina.

In 1963, Gelli began the takeover an obscure Italian Masonic lodge, Propaganda Due or P-2, and using the blackmail files of the OVRA and other information, began aggressively recruiting members of the military and intelligence services, as well as key financial and political figures. (The Grand Lodge of Italy quickly severed recognition ties with P-2 when it learned of Gelli's activities.) P-2 expanded its operations to Argentina, Venezuela, Paraguay, Bolivia, France, Portugal and Nicaragua. Associated of Klaus Barbie were recruited, as were leaders from death squads operating in Latin America. One member was the notorious Jose Lopez Gega, an Argentinean clerical fascist who also ran a cocaine smuggling operation into the United States.

Gelli, like Sindona, enjoyed unprecedented access to the Vatican thanks to his close friendship with Cardinal Paolo Bertoli of the Holy See's Diplomatic Corps. Bertoli is known to have introduced Gelli to Paul Marcinkus. Another close associate and member of this "Gang of Four" was Umberrto Ortolani, a former OVRA Intelligence Officer and co-patron for Calvi while he was moving up in the Banco Ambrosiano. Ortolani was also tied to a secretive Roman Catholic order known as the Knights of Malta, and was elevated by Pope Paul VI to the status of "Gentleman of his Holiness." He also sponsored Liccio Gelli for membership in the Knights of Malta.

As the scandal enveloping Calvi and the collapse of Banco Ambrosiano unfolded, police raided Gelli's private offices on March 17, 1981 and seized a treasure trove of documents including one of the membership lists of P-2. Among the 962 members identified in the papers were 43 generals in the Italian armed forces, eight admirals, 43 members of Parliament, all of the heads of the respective security and intelligence services, editors and publishers of major Italian papers and, of course, Michael Sindona and Roberto Calvi. Word of several other lists eventually surfaced, and one P-2 member "went public" with charges that key functionaries of the Holy See were involved in the clandestine group. The cell was shut down by prosecutors amidst evidence that Gelli and P-2 were establishing a "state within a state," and were plotting what amounted to a fascist coup. He eluded police for years, was captured in Cannes, then escaped prison and then died.

After being sentenced to life, Sindona prepared for his appeal in which he finally wanted to disclose everything. This would have been disastrous for 500 international personalities - for those who made quite a profit from Michele Sindona's banking exploits. He was sentenced to life in prison and his unexpected death would arrive in a harmless china cup of coffee offered - but unknown to him - heavily laced with deadly cyanide within the walls of a Milan prison.

When his new congregation in Arizona were asked about his dubious business dealings, they all refused to believe it and went on to tell the reporter how wonderful and happy they were with their ailing Pastor. They saw him as a faithful smiling cigar-smoking priest from far away Chicago who enjoyed a regular game of golf around his Sun City gated retirement community in the Phoenix Archdiocese. Maybe even some of their sons happily caddied for him.

Sun City, Arizona, has a modest population of just 40,000 people.

This former heavy weight of Rome (once called the guerrilla) lived comfortably in his $400,000 bungalow, with outdoor swimming pool (owned by the diocese of Chicago), and played golf in their exclusive and private lawns, while still enjoying Vatican diplomatic immunity; he was known by his American parishioners, as "Fr." Chink. Before his death on the 20th February 2006.

A Vatican "offical" made a trip to see him, and was able to collate some of his "papers," before returning back to Rome.

Yet during this period in his office in Rome at the Institute of Religious Works (IRS), he quickly earned the sobriquet of "God's Banker" which of course he wasn't, but I'm sure he enjoyed being called it all the same. And into this shady religious world such names as Calvi, Sindona, Paul VI and John Paul II, would be named for the first time in the press and even some, criminally indicted, as financial rascals.

The death in Phoenix, Arizona of Archbishop Paul Marcinkus aged 84, brought to a final close (well almost) of a disgraceful period in the history of the Roman Catholic Church.

A MURDER PLOT REVEALED?

Beginning in 1998, the Calvi affair was back in the news when the family of the late financier had his body exhumed. The new autopsy confirmed that Calvi was murdered elsewhere, and his corpse then hanged from beneath Blackfriar's Bridge. Investigators caught a major break in the case when in December, 2002, Mafia kingpin Antonio Giuffee told police that Calvi was murdered in part for absconding with mob money being laundered through Banco Ambrosiano.

It is known that as the bank collapsed, Calvi approached friends in the Vatican to cover losses. He allegedly told associates in the Holy See that unless Ambrosiano was protected, he would expose powerful men in Italian finance and politics. Calvi disappeared the day after those frantic phone calls to the Vatican, along with the briefcase packed with sensitive documents.

Leading the effort to solve the mystery of Roberto Calvi's murder has been Carlo Calvi, the banker's son who left Italy in 1977 and now lives in Montreal, Canada.

His father, says Carlo Calvi, "was a dynamic businessman but not a good judge of people."

Police and prosecutors zeroed in on four suspects now on trial: Flavio Carboni; his former girlfriend Antonio Giuffee; and Pippo Calo and Ernesto Diotallevi, two "fixers" with close ties to the Mafia.

There are concerns, though, that the four could be scapegoats for a wider conspiracy, and that significant aspects of the case implicating the Vatican, government agencies, other banks and special interests could be conveniently ignored. The judge in the current proceedings, Mario D'Andra, has been vehement in demanding a swift trial.

"Let's try to keep in mind that this is a trial about facts that happened almost 24 years ago," he declared. And Carboni's attorney, Renato Borzone has argued that there is no proof of his client's participation in any murder, charging Italian prosecutors with "relying on a phony testimony by turncoats" in order to make their case.

On the opening day of the proceedings, Borzone told the court, "Today, a new battle begins to find the truth about Calvi's death.

Carlo Calvi theorizes that while mobsters may have executed his father, "the murder was organized by politicians. The Mafia had simply the role of carrying out the murder."

Questions linger not only about who killed Roberto Calvi, but who ordered the murder.

The birds offered the first hint of danger in the tiny Vatican State.

On Jan. 30, Pope Benedict XVI released the traditional two doves as “a sign of peace to the city of Rome and to the world” from his papal apartments; instead of both flying away one hesitated for a long time before it flew off and the other made a quick U-turn and flew right back into the room. Curiously enough, there were crows flying overhead. A crow, “corvo” in Italian, is an uncomplimentary term for informants. Paolo Gabriele, the pope’s butler who has been exposed as the source of confidential information leaked to the Italian media since the beginning of the year may actually be a scapegoat. On May 23rd, Gabriele was arrested, detained and questioned within the secure walls of a room in the Vatican. On Sunday, days after his arrest, more documents were leaked to the Italian daily La Repubblica, giving credit to the suspicion that he (Gabriele) was the fall guy or a pawn as in a chest game of strategy in a Vatican game of thrones and conspiracy. It is speculated that Gabriele was the messenger at the service of much bigger players who were trying to loosen the firm core ground of which the Vatican was formed on and to hurt the center of the Vatican’s power. In a letter accompanying the 3 new documents, the anonymous provider indeed does say that Gabriele is simply "the usual scapegoat" and states that his or her intention is to "drive out the real culprits from the Vatican” and points a finger to Msgr. Georg Gaenswein, Benedict's personal secretary, and Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, his secretary of state as the actual top players who intended and planned the documents to be leaked. The source warns that the new papers are just “three of the hundreds of documents in our possession” that could be damaging to the Vatican. The documents published Sunday include two written on Gaenswein's personal letterhead. The text, however, had been whited out as a step the source said he or she had taken in order to protect the pope. In the accompanying cover letter, the source says the documents prove that Benedict is being served by an "inept staff." There seems to be more than one Judas in the Vatican.
The Vatican’s Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone is accused by many in the Vatican bureaucracy as the Curia of wielding too much power. Many of the leaked memos were directly or indirectly linked to him, and reveal an almost dictatorial role within the Vatican that goes beyond his role as the Vatican’s “prime minister.” Cardinal Bertone spoke out for the first time against the scandal that has been nicknamed “Vatileaks” during an interview with TG1, one of Italy’s biggest newscasts, and was very straightforward. He called the leaks a "ferocious, biting and organized attack on the pope.” Cardinal Bertone also said that the pope "is not letting himself be scared by these attacks, whatever their nature."

In a rare interview with the Italian Catholic magazine, Famiglia Cristiana, Cardinal Bertone, the Vatican's secretary of state, accused the media of "intentionally ignoring" the good things the Church does while dwelling on scandals.

"Many journalists are playing the game of trying to imitate Dan Brown," said Bertone, referring to the best-selling author of novels such as "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons". "They (journalists) continue to invent fairytales and repeat legends," he said.

Cardinal Bertone said the media were full of "pettiness and lies spread in these days," adding that "outside Italy people have a hard time trying to understand the vehemence of some Italian newspapers". He said the Church was "an unequivocal reference point for countless people and institutions around the world" and added: "This is why there is an attempt to destabilize it".

Cardinal Bertone said that the image of the Vatican as a place of intrigue and power struggles is false, saying: "The truth is that there is an attempt to divide that comes from the Devil". At a briefing with the Vatican's chief spokesman, Father Federico Lombardi, an Italian reporter contested Bertone's portrayal of the media, telling him that the leaks scandal started with a letter in which an archbishop complained to the pope about corruption in the Vatican. Several leaked documents allege corruption in the Vatican's business dealings with Italian companies that were paid inflated prices for work in the Vatican, rivalries among cardinals, and clashes over the management of the Vatican bank.

Lombardi said that while he did not want to make "generalized condemnations", he believed that some of the coverage of the Vatican was "not founded on objectivity”. Earlier this month Lombardi acknowledged that it would take time to restore trust within the walls of the Vatican and to heal the damage to the Church's reputation caused by the leaks scandal and the subsequent arrest of the pope's butler.Gabriele was arrested on May 23 and has been interrogated several times by a Vatican magistrate who must decide whether he should stand trial on charges of aggravated theft.

Bertone said no cardinals were suspected of involvement in the leaks scandal.

He also denied allegations by Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, the former head of the Vatican bank, that he was ousted because he wanted the bank, officially known as the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR), to be more transparent.

Bertone repeated the Vatican's position that Gotti Tedeschi left after a no-confidence vote by the bank's board because he was a divisive and inefficient manager.

Vatican police have arrested Pope Benedict XVI’s personal butler following an investigation into the leaking of sensitive church documents, it emerged today.
In a scenes worthy of a Dan Brown thriller, the butler identified as Paolo Gabriele, 46, was held by gendarmes after a special commission of three top senior cardinals had been appointed by a furious Pope Benedict to identify the source of the leaks which have caused severe embarrassment.
Gabriele, who has been at the Pope’s side for six years, is one of the German born pontiff’s closest members of his inner circle which totals just four lay people and four nuns and he is always at his side – he is so close that he and the nuns who look after him are described as the ‘pontiff’s family’.

It is believed that Gabriele, who is known by the nickname Paoletto (little Paul) was held as he arrived for work at the Papal apartments in the Apostolic Palace behind St Peter’s and tonight he was being held in custody – the first time in years the Vatican jail had been used.
Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said a man had been detained with ‘documents in his possession’ adding that he was not supposed to have them and he went on to describe him as ‘a lay person and not a member of the clergy’.
The arrest of Gabriele comes just days after author Gianluigi Nuzzi published a book on the leaked documents called Sua Santita (His Holiness).
The Vatican had condemned the book as ‘criminal’ and the printing of the documents were a violation of the Pope’s privacy it said.

Nuzzi hit back and said that the files were not private and were documents between states and he added they had been given to him by people who work inside the Vatican and in a reference to the Bible, he said the sources wanted to ‘get the moneylenders out of the temple’.
Today’s arrest came just a month after Pope Benedict turned detective and appointed a special commission to investigate the series of damning and embarrassing leaks of sensitive Catholic Church documents from the Vatican as it still tries to recover from the priest sex abuse scandal.
Dozens of documents including private letters to the Pope have found themselves into the hands of the Italian media in what has been dubbed, unsurprisingly, Vatileaks.

By coincidence on Thursday the head of the bank, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, who is already under investigation for money laundering resigned after a vote of no confidence and initially there were rumours that he was the person responsible for the leak of documents.
The scandal began in January with the publication of leaked letters from the former deputy governor of the Vatican City archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, in which he pleaded not to be transferred after he had exposed what he said was corruption over the awarding of contracts.
Archbishop Vigano was deputy governor from 2009 until last year when he was moved to Washington DC to be papal nuncio in the United States. He had written to the Pope protesting the fact adding that it would bring an end to his efforts to ‘clean up’ the Vatican.
Earlier this year there was even a report leaked which claimed a plot to assassinate Pope Benedict had been uncovered although this was dismissed as “absurd” by Father Lombardi who threatened to take legal action against the TV station that screened the documents.
The Pope was said to be ‘shocked and saddened’ at the constant leaks and it led to him appointing the cardinal commission which worked with the Vatican gendarmes and lead to the arrest.

Vatican prosecutor Nicola Picardi was questioning Gabriele and the news was dominating Italian media with many describing the arrest as an ‘earthquake within the Holy Sea’ although some questioned if he was perhaps being made a scapegoat.
Sources said that sensitive Vatican documents had been recovered from father of three Gabriele’s home inside the Vatican.
But Paolo Rodari, an expert on Vatican affairs with newspaper Il Foglio, was sceptical of his involvement and said: ‘I know Gabriele. He is a nice guy but I don’t think he would be behind this. I think he may have been imprudent and taken the odd document home but he is not the main person.
‘If you ask me he has been made a scapegoat just to satisfy the media. The documents found at his house were from the Pope’s personal correspondence but a lot of the leaked documents have come from the Secretary of State’s office and he would not have had access to those.
‘This is all part of a plot to discredit Pope Benedict and Cardinal (Tarcisio) Bertone (Secretary of State) and I think it has been ordered by senior figures from within the Curia who may have exploited Gabriele but I personally don’t think he is the driving force behind Vatileaks.’
A Vatican spokesman added that the Vatican did have cells but said he had ‘no idea when they were last used’.

I'm not joking.

Even Beyoncé is now in on it. I don't want to tell you all of what I know, right now, because they are watching. As a matter of fact, I had a huge battle with the others for a long time and I must admit, they are powerful. But there needs to be someone, anyone, to stand up against them and for world to be restored back into peace and harmony once again.

Hmmm… How can I put this. Well, all Lady Gaga's video, even Beyoncé's new video, XTINA, Miley Cyrus. They are all of a sudden very dark and satanic! There are tons of hidden messages in the video and symbols that prove that they worship Satan. Please don't take this as a joke. It is not and itis serious. The government even now has a way to send out frequencies on your TV that you cannot hear, yet it highly affects your brain and mixed in with all the visuals from the music videos, you become hypnotized without even realizing this. That sounds crazy right? Well it's true. I've been studying about this for the past seven years now and kept quiet about it for a long time, except when I chat with other groups of people I know they also know about the others if I told you the entire thing, it will really blow your mind away, but I feel it is so important for people to know that it's happening to them.

This all leads to the urgency of what the government knows about the 2012. Of the world ending. It's not exactly what you think. There's a lot more to it, I wish I could tell you, but like I said, I will post more blocks to hint to you little by little of what I know and who I come in contact with to find out even more stuff about this. There has been something going on it sets off the red alert urgency signal so that's why all the pop music videos are becoming more and more satanic and the artists involved are joining in with the others so they know what they are doing. Have you guys heard the term sell your soul to the devil and you get whatever you want? Well that's actually true, however the devil is real. Rihana, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, XTINA, Miley Cyrus, and yes even Taylor Swift amongst hundreds of others are now part of the allegiance. It's all hush-hush but I know about it, and I know maybe some of you guys know about it as well. I won't say it, like I did on my twitter back then, cuz when I did, all of a sudden Twitter block my tweets so no one could see them, and MySpace is also blocked all my bulletins about this stuff. Crazy right?

Anyway, the reason behind them doing this with the urgency of the music videos is because they need to turn your brain into mush, so that you just become a vegetable, a robot, a zombie, under their command and not realize it. Have you guys seen the movie eyes wide shut? Well it is very similar to that as well as the movie devils advocate I'm telling you, this goes far beyond just entertainment is a lot of thought the ship going on right now behind the scenes, the conspiracy theories and leading up to the world ending. You would be shocked if I told you which celebrity has the same bloodline as the devil God I wish I could tell you more. But for now, I will stop and continue another time.

Just keep in mind next time you see all these music videos, if you watch it too much, you too, will be infected and become a zombie, a slave to the government, without you even realizing. As for Lady Gaga, she has the most satanic messages and videos. They used her and use her music and say it's art but really it's to mindfuck for you like her new Alejandro music video. My God, I couldn't even begin to point out so many symbolic signs of devil worshiping and symbols that link back to the others.

I for one, was sent on earth from God. To be one of his angels to try to help this world that is half white and half dark. There is right now a critical war between good and bad. I am on the good side, and that is why they're always trying to get me. Anyway there's more I have to tell you about the frequency they are sending out via your TV, your cell phones and many more that send radio waves into your brain to start turning you all into zombies and enslaved under the others.

Now I was nasty and to write this blog as I know they are forever watching and are very powerful. I feel as a human being, people have a right to know what is happening to them and I am here, God sent me here, to fight this war against the darkness and these people who practice satanic rituals, that is now being shown on your TV for even your children to watch exhibition what I mean, Lady gaga hung herself in one of her music video awards with blood dripping everywhere! Now on her new Alejandro cover there is a devil like man can dream her naked, lifeless body, with a huge slit on the side of her and blood. Yet people think that's okay because it's "ART?" no.

My father has been nearly paralyzed by arthritis on is neck and a month later by a painful urinary track infection
The same day I received the news of my daughter's condition, I received a letter from disability refusing my case. Now I must appeal it and request a formal hearing before the Disability Judge.
I believe my daughter has started using drugs again.

My Good Old Days in New York

We have all noticed that Prego and Ragu jars have shrunk in size just as corn oil has yet the prices remain the same.

In fact, packages are shrinking on aisle after aisle in grocery stores such as familiar products, like Skippy Peanut Butter. A standard 18 ounce jar of the peanut butter is being replaced by a very similar looking, but smaller, 16.3 ounce jar, but the price isn't getting smaller.

Coke boxes use to cost 2 for $5.00 and now just one box will cost us anywhere from $4.00 - $5.00

Milk? Sky high! It is hand in hand with gas prices.

Those of you with babies and elderly who must use pampers have to dish out almost $30.00 for a box containing 18.

In the last couple years we’ve seen the size of some cereal shrink from 14oz boxes to 12.25 oz (translating to about two fewer bowls per box)

Telephone booths are a relic now, even in New York City where they were as in your face as yellow cabs so everyone is now forced to purchase some kind of mobile telephone.

My 83 year old father refuses to make the transition into modern times so if he were out at the grocery store and had forgotten his list, he could not call his home to ask mama what it is she needed from the store. Rebooting the television's cable is treading into the unknown for many of the elderly meaning, if no one is around to do that for them, they are without cable until someone can go over to unplug the box and reset it for them.

Speaking of cable, bundles begin at $99.00 but by the following year, the price climbs to $150.00 and for what? To surf through reality shows promoting sexual deviance, alcoholism and violence.

Ipads, Smart Phones with applications and other technology have replaced the more simple life style we could all equally enjoy. Now our customer service calls are screened by automated answering machines which place us into a Que for 2 to sometimes even 8 minutes before we get to speak to a real person. Technology has replaced man power and deleted jobs yet we wonder why the unemployment rate is so high.

I remember a time when people would purchase a television, bring it home, plug it in, turn it on and they were able to watch it. Antennas to place on top of the television for better reception were also purchased; if not, a wire hanger would suffice. If there was a problem with the set it was an easy fix; just pull open the back of the television, look into it for the tube which had blown, remove the tube, take it to the television repair shop, purchase a new tube for a few cents and then return home to replace the blown one with the new one. There was no mandatory cable in order to view television like there is now; granted, there were only perhaps 13 channels to watch but they showed good stuff, not the garbage reality shows that monopolize television these days. What was wrong with The Green Hornet, The Dick Van Dyke Show, I Dream Of Jeannie or Bewitched even? Why do the elderly have to pay for cable service when they would never even venture passed the basic channels anyway? Couldn't basic cable be offered free of charge to our elderly? Some day we will all reach that age, the good Lord willing; we will remember the days of our youth and perhaps ask for forgiveness.

Back in the days, the kids went outside to jump rope, ride bikes, metal skates and sleds or play chalk games like hop scotch or skully until it was dinner time and later would watch some of those television shows I mentioned above. Now a days, the children are playing games on their Xboxes or on their Iphones, laptops, phone applications or Ipads, and never getting exercise or fresh air. Most children are raised on McDonald's Chicken McNougets and fries or pizza where before, mother would have a nice home cooked meal waiting on the table where we would sit at the table to have our dinner together as a family. If mother worked, it was usually because she was in with the times, keeping up with the women's liberation movement but most old school traditional families lived in the manner that the father went out to bring home the bacon and mom would fry it up in the pan.

Unfortunately, the way prices have sky rocketed, the single family income is almost just a vague memory and everyone who is of age in the household is expected to go out, work and contribute.

I miss the good ol' days when life was more simple. Yes, it had it's troubles and we struggled but we did so equally. It seems like just yesterday that we could travel and not pay for our luggage but our dependence on other countries for gas has made it a sacrifice for travel where it use to be a pleasure.

I will go on and on as time permits me to update this blog but for now, I will leave you with a few songs and some photos of life when it was more innocent. I have lots more to insert into this blog to make your experience a memorable blast from the past. So...keep coming back!

Ever wonder why law enforcement, attorneys or anyone who works for the judicial system never call the police?

It is because they know that if they call the police, someone will be arrested and if they are calling regarding a domestic dispute, it will definitely happen and after hearing the story from all parties involved, it may even turn out to be you who is the one whom they will arrest!

Never ever call the police to respond to a domestic dispute if you love your husband, wife, daughter, son, mother, father, live-in partner or whoever is living under the same roof as you and you are having a heated argument involving throwing things around the house or at each other. Calling the police to come to your house to diffuse a domestic dispute is a no no because for certain, someone will be charged with let's say, battery then read their miranda rights, handcuffed, placed into the rear seat of a police car with no leg room at all, booked, finger printed and issued an orange colored jailhouse uniform and big white baggy underwear which other people have worn before.

The person's life who is arrested will become a nightmare lasting 7 years from that point on.
There is no bond for a battery case so the person arrested will have to remain in county jail until they go before the judge. Take note that if during the altercation there was a person age 65 or older involved and that elderly person was hit with, even an article of clothing that was inadvertently swung and which and left a mark on their body; if they tell police of that occurrence, the person arrested, who swung and hit the elderly, will now be charged with battery on an elderly person, possibly even aggravated battery on an elderly person since the article swung could be considered a weapon.
Once apprehended or sombody with a habit of going into public records arrest site for their local sheriffs office finds out a informs the person that they have an active warrant and the person turns themself in, well there begins the humiliation and financial difficulties mentioned above for the mow, inmate with their picture on internet's Mug Shots site and a slew of financial stress.

If during the time between when the police were called and they arrive, the person who was aggitated and slinging clothing or other items leaves the premises, law enforcement can not make an arrest but they will write a report of the occurence and once they turn it in, there will be a bench warrant issued for the person who committed battery. If the person whois charged with battery does not turn themself in, any team of police officers may return to the premise at any hour of the day, since that is the last known address of the person charged; most likely at 6 o'clock in the morning with a search warrant and look throughout the home in order to apprehend and arrest the individual charged. It is a very intrusive action for a misdeameanor or even for a felony; which the battery charge becomes once an elderly person has been struck and injured.

ONCE ARRESTED
The handcuffed person arrested is marched to their assigned location different from the large space where processing takes place and left to fend for themselves in a large room full of unknown characters, bunk beds and a faded brown wooden desk in the center where one, sometimes 2 correction guards are seated like a school classroom where the teachers desk is front and center except on a jail is on a much larger scale. The person arrested, now an inmate, most likely has the top bunk, so if they are heavy, it will be a problem climbing onto it without pissing off their cell mate who has the bottom bunk. The person will shower in a military like bathroom where there are around 20 showers without the curtains for privacy. Lunch is a sandwhich consisting of perhaps 2 slices of processed balogna between 2 pieces of white bread, no mayo; only a tiny white cup with a scoop of marjarine and a small white container of water with some coloring and flavor to wash down the dry sandwhich with. When county jail becomes too full, it is not unusual for a corrections officer to awaken the newbie inmate in the middle of the night or morning, group them together with other inmates with chains around their waists, shackled ankles and handcuffed; then transpored to a larger jail, perhaps a prison via a dark bus; they are then led into a cell occupied by 1 other inmate, door slams shut and locked. It is all quite a trauma to the human psyche. On their court appearance; ususally via internet, the entire court hearing process is quite confusing and nobody explains the process except not to speak unless asked a question by the judge and your choicesare explained to you in a way that gives you no other option than pleading, "no contest." If you do plead no contest, the judge may place you on probation for a year and ordered to attend anger management classes ($20 a week) on top of showing up weekly to your probation officer at the Salvation Army if you live in Tampa with another $25 in hand. If you plead, "not guilty, "you will do the jail time until a hearing is set. Everything is very fast paced in the courtroom since there are othesr behind you waiting their turn to appear before the judge. District attorneys, public defenders and bailiffs are systematically moving papers and people around like pieces on a checker game; the persons in handcuffs never seem to be clearly informed or given enough time to think about their chioces and then suddenly the sound of their life crumbling becomes an audible reality when they hear the judges decision ordering them to pay this or do that for a certain amount of time then offered a few choice words of advice and onto the next case.

Remember the meter reader, Roy Kronk who found little Caylee Anthony's remains? He was summoned and questioned by police on numerous occasions and seen and even at time treated as a suspect in Caylee's murder; later on down the line during the court hearing he was accused of moving the little girl's remains to the location she was found at in order to collect the reward.

The Way I C It: It is a sad day when citizens cannot trust the police to assist us or another individual for fear of being involved in the crime commited or to have someone that we love, perhaps even ourselves to be arrested which will ruin their lives with a stain which will not go away. I for one have learned that lesson and will only call the police if I have been injured by a stranger or if someone in my household has passed away in the house. Hopefully law enforcement will believe me and help me and not adopt in their thinking that I was making up a story or was a participant of whatever the crime. Sad to say but this is my truth, if I see a dead body on the street or under a hedge, I will keep walking and call annonymously from a pay phone.

2 Little Sparrows Build Nest In My Plant Watch Them Hatch

2 little sparrows made a nest in our plant in the patio. The mother sat in her nest for almost 2 weeks without coming out and her mate use to come in to bring her worms. All of a sudden, there was a lot of activity! Both mother and mate were flying in and out of that plant all day and into the evening. They returned each time with worm in beak. Easter Sunday, I snuck my camera in past the leaves while both birds were out gathering their meal and to my delight, I saw 3 baby hatchlings. I included some videos as well as photos, especially of the interesting hatchlings.. They are a bit shakey because I was so nervous that the adults would return, spot me and then attack but you even get to see them grow and fly away.

PRETEND ILLEGAL DRUG SELLING IN SECOND LIFE

I love being a Second Life citizen and find it to be an enjoyable manner to express creativitey, to earn extra income, to showcase and sell your art, photographs, scultures and paintings. It is alsoa great manner to be able to communicate and make friends with people from around the world but one thing which disturbs me at the moment is that I found more than 5 location (sims) in the grid which are promoting illegal drugs. Yes, it is pretend and the owners are not actually sending the citizens real drugs to mail out but still, it is very distressing to me to have found more than a few places like these which are being created; worse than that, being allowed.

If citizens have never used or sold drugs in real life, Second Life gives them the opportunity to make believe doing so.
As I mentioned above, I have discovered more than 5 sims where Second Life citizens can purchase pretend cannabis, heroin, cocaine, Xtasy and even hookah.
There is also a link they can click on to become vendors and make a profit by selling the owner/creators drug products.

I did not include the slurl locations to them for obvious reasons.

I have included some photos below. You be the judge. Should this be allwed or am I just a prude?

A Snake In The House

I was visiting with my parents and was on the computer when my mother walked in and calmly told me that there was a snake in the house. I looked up at her in disbelief as I stood up. "A snake? Where?" She led me to the area between the living room and the kitchen counter to where the snake was nestled against the wall below the counter top.

Yipes! To some it may not have seemed to be so big a snake but to a family of hometown New Yorkers, it was one big uninvited house guest! "It's just a garden snake" I said coolly" no use creating a panic but I didn't know what kind of snake it was at all and I was frightened of it. My parents are both in their 80's and obviously did not know how to rid their home of this creature, so it was up to me to do it. "Wait," I said as I ran into the room where my purse was and quickly returned with my digital camera in hand. "What the heck are you going to do with a camera?" My dad was clearly annoyed that I ran back with my Olympus in hand. Did he think I had gone to pull my Snake Charmer Flute out of a wicker basket from the room?

I asked my mom if she had a pair of gloves so that I can wear them to pick up the snake but after I had the gloves on and bent down towards the snake, I had a rapid change of bravado when I saw it lift it's head and look directly at me, knowing that I was the one to contend with. Was it going to lunge at me, how far it could stretch during it's leap?

"Dad, a broom! Could you get me a broom?" My father went out through the sliding glass door in the living room and returned with a worn out broom but didn't hand it to me. "Help me! I can't do this alone!" I heard the urgency in my voice as well as my dad's. "Que tu quieres que yo haga?" My father was asking me what I wanted him to do in Spanish with the same nervous sound in his voice that I had previously had when asking him to help me. I asked him for the broom and he passed it over to me. My mother must have realized that this was a woman's job because she quickly left and returned with her own weapon, a dried up old gray mop which they also kept out in the patio area.

It was on now!

I leaned forward and pushed the broom into the snake's middle area but it stretched out further. My mom was towards my right and instinctively lunged at the snake with her mop as well, assisting me in pinching it against the wall. My dad realized that we had not done anything more than to arrest it from moving from the place it had been at all along and he yelled out to us in a more urgent voice pitch, "Pero saca lo pa fuera!" "But take it outside!" How in heck was I going to do that without removing our weapons from it and picking it up? I asked my mom to remove her mop and told her that I would keepit pinned. Once mama stood clear, I tried to sweep the snake towards the entry door but it slithered side ways as both my parents yelled in unison for me not to let it get away; I was screaming also. Our adrenaline was pumped, my fathers eyes were bugged, my mother's face, determined as she backed me up with her dried up mop in hand. The snake had now, slithered under a table in the foyer.

The picture below is where it had found shelter at but I photo shopped a snake image and pasted it onto the photo I snapped of the location it was hiding in. My mother removed her dry twigs decoration from under the table where she displayed her candle decor and I was able to continue sweeping at the intimidating slithery pest again.

The picture below is photo shopped just to give you an idea of where the snake had later hidden once we were in pursuit. I couldn't very well let go of my broom to capture this Kodak moment.

"Dad, abre la puerta! Open the door", I shouted desperately as once again, I pinned the snake under the broom. My 83 year old father, in his blue house shorts, white wife beater and slippers opened the entry door. Wfile standing outside, he leaned his frail body forward and held the door opened with the tips of his 3 middle fingers. I lifted the broom up and off of the snake and struck it as if I had been playing golf and trying for a hole in one. The snake hurled into the air and down to the floor again, everyone screamed as it slithered, prompting dad to let go of the door. Papa was now standing outside and my mother and I inside screaming as we both got busy pushing the snake under the door with our beat up broom and mop. It really was a hilarious situation. Mom and I pushed and pushed at the snake, all the while I was yelling for my father to open the door and telling him that we were trying to shove it outside but that he must open the door. Mother was the one who opened it after realizing that dad, was certainly not going to place himself in the line of fire and have that snake landing at his feet. As my mom held the door, I managed to sweep the snake out. Mama then released the door and I pushed it shut. Now I am yelling out to my father, afraid to open the door again. "Dad, is it gone?" "No, it's still inside the house"! Papa was still yelling. Inside the house? No, it couldn't be, my mom and I were in the foyer in the same location where we had finally managed to push it through the bottom of the door. Very slowly, I opened the door and suddenly the snake dropped back into the foyer. Mom and I screamed and jumped but I kept sweeping at it with the broom. The door was now held ajar by mother. I frantically swept and golfed and screamed until it finally landed outside by the welcome mat.

Papa was yelling at me to push it towards the furthest area from the entry way. He words jumped out in Spanish. I understood his level of intensity because the snake was now slithering all over the place and much faster than before; it could still make it's way back into the house. I alternated from sweeping to the golf swing until the snake finally landed inside the stone pit to the right of their condo's entry door. "Kill it," my father yelled out, 'Pour Chlorox on it," he continued. "It's gone dad relax, they were here first you know. We live in Florida, you should have been long adjusted to living with all these creatures by now," I said as I walked back into the house, knees trmbling.

My father followed me in as he continued admonishing me for not throwing bleach on the rocks. "Now it will return during the night," he said. "It won't come in here dad, it will find it's way towards the grass soon." It's just a garden snake, I added, 'they do not bite." I hoped.

"Yeah, they don't bite but I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night because that thing has worked it's way back into the house, crawled up the bed and wrapped itself around my ankles."

"Dad, you know that's not going to happen." As I walked towards the room where my purse was, I could hear my mother mumbling about how they have to find a new place and move away now. Drama queens run in my family.

TODAY, 3/21/12

Again, my mother walks in to tell me that there is yet another snake outside of her door in the stone pit; once again I go to see. Sure enough,a small black thinner snake nestled against the wall of the pit; it was much smaller than the one my mother and I had swept away yesterday and yes, once again, I grabbed my camera. I took close ups of this one since it was so much smaller and was not in the house.

My mother came out with a gallon of bleach in her hand thinking the I would drown the snake in it but I refused saying, "No mom, I am not going to burn a creature to death." "But what if it comes into the house again?" She asked. I walked outside and noticed a man wearing an orange colored construction hard hat having a smoke beneath the shae of a tree. "Excuse me" I said, 'do you think you could help me?" The man walked over and I explained what was occuring, including yesterday's event. He smiled, asked where it was and followed me in. This is what happened next.

At the tender age of 14, I was a member of the Young Lords Party/Organization. YLP/YLO was thought to be a political radical gang by many, especially by law enforcement, the judicial system and politicians. My idea of them at that time is that they were a large group of intelligent young Latino leaders striving for a better quality of life for Hispanics and other minorities. Mostly consisting of Puerto Rican college students who were fed up with the injustices carried out by the system against Hispanics and other people of what was then known as third world nations due to racist and bigoted ideas, this group of students banded together, grew and created an organization who were hell bent on making to make things right for their people and for Hispanics to be treated equally. The Black Panthers Party were already an organized group who were making quite a bit of noise against injustice to blacks as well.

My attraction to the Party was provoked by my having a teen crush on one of the male members, who to me was cute and looked so good wearing his YLP green beret. On a side note, he never even knew I was alive. Anyway, I was welcomed and became one of their a go-fers, just like any of the other young kids who walked into the Bronx Division Headquarters office on Longwood Avenue. I was handed a stack of the Party’s Palante newspapers to sell on Southern Boulevard, the largest and closest neighborhood shopping strip. All the stores were there and I would have access to many of the people they wanted to educate. I was glad to do it because I really loved wearing the green beret, symbolic that I was a member.

My mother was very much against them and even more afraid of my growing interest and admiration for the group. She warned me over and over again to keep away from them and told me that she did not want to know that I was on Longwood Ave or Southern Blvd with those 'titeres' (hoodlums) but I did not listen. I felt they were doing something important and I wanted to be a part of it. Going to Jenny's house to do our homework together was my reason for leaving after school to pick up my papers. Mom was pleased that she had gotten through to me. I would take the long way around to Longwood Avenue. Jenny lived a different direction from it and mami always watched me through the window, so I had to make it appear as if I was walking towards my friend’s house, then I took a detour and continued on my way to do my job. I recall a time when THE PARTY had a plan and all of us were to have a share in carrying it out. I was very excited by it because they even allowed the go-fers to partake. For the first time, I felt like I was going to actually assist in making a change for our people. I felt important and grown up.

At midnight, I quietly got out of my bed, got dressed, lifted up my mattress to pull out my green beret with my Young Lords Party button affixed on the front and placed it on proudly my head as if I were wearing a crown. Quietly as I could, I pulled my coat off of the metal hanger in the closet, making sure it did not clang against the other empty ones beside it. My snow boots were next, gloves and then, like a cat treading quietly yet decidedly on its pads, I slipped out of the house. Two of the older female members of The Party, were outside waiting for me when I came out of the apartment building I lived at. I followed them to our designated area, which was just 1 street over upon receiving my instructions, got to work. Assisting the females who will remain nameless for obvious reasons; meaning that, after 20 something years who could remember? I began taking garbage cans buried in snow from the alleys of the buildings and dragging them out to the center of the street where we then dumped the waste into; we continued doing that for about an hour, maybe even longer! It was a mess and looked even worse because of the white blanket of snow on the street. My two escorts returned me home safely and after we were done doing what I now know to be, criminal mischief. Before entering the door, I made sure that I had wiped my boots dry, wiping off any wet spots around the top and exterior once inside and to also place all my clothing back into place. I think my mom must have suffered from OCD because she knew where everything was, which direction they were pointed towards when she laid them out and any other little detail about the items; she would have made a great private eye. My drenched socks which still had frozen chunks of ice attached to the bottoms, I had to hide under my mattress. I can still recall the wonderful rush of pride and accomplishment racing through my body as I lay in bed looking up at the ceiling until sleep quickly entered to claim me.

You may wonder why we had carried out an act of criminal mischief in our own neighborhood. Back in the 60's there was still a lot of racism and it was not only limited to black people but to Hispanics and the Asians as well. The dominant Hispanics in New York City were the puertorriqueños during that era. Ever watch West Side Story? The Puerto Rican gang members were, The Sharks and the white gang members were, The Jets. The Hispanic communities in the Bronx as well as in El Barrio in Manhattan were never taken care of as were the communities where the Anglos lived. Our garbage would be left to pile high in the streets for days until the sanitation trucks would finally be dispatched out to our neighborhoods and take care of business. When it snowed, our streets were always the last to be plowed, sometimes never. Suffice to say that is the reason the Young Lords Party gave out the trash assignment the night I snuck out. They/we had taken drastic means. I always wondered why, if a 14-year-old could understand that concept, why then did so many grownups, not? That night, all of the members of the Young Lords Party had the biggest party ever! Together, we had left a huge mess over all the streets of the Hispanic communities of New York City... and Guess what? The sanitation trucks were all out there the following day and all of our fathers were able to drive to work and our mothers were able to walk to the grocery stores safely without having to climb over snow mountains.

The Young Lords Party had succeeded in forcing the plowing of our communities, removal of trash. We were here and not going away. We had caught their attention.

Sometimes, Drastic Times Do Call For Drastic Means.

NEVER SAY NEVER

Growing up in the South Bronx, I saw many things that most people only see while watching a movie or television.

There is the sweet memory of an organ grinder who stood below our window squeezing out his tunes, later sending his little green monkey dressed in a bell hop uniform with shiny round brass buttons to climb up our fire escape in order to collect the change my parents would toss into his little red cap.
The day came when I never saw the organ grinder or his monkey again.
They had been replaced by young teen-agers breathing into paper bags which covered their nose and mouths. This was a sign of the changes in time.
My parents did not allow me to go out and play anymore unless they were standing outside chatting with neighbors, reading the paper or flipping through a magazine.

I recall when the nice neighborhood community where I grew up in changed.
The police officers who wore white gloves and served as crossing guards for the children to get to school safely were replaced by the white powder named, heroin who stole our safety away and threatened us with death.

When the 60's rolled out and the 70's came in. I was now a teen-ager and saw many of my friends drop out of high school to later learn that they had died of a drug overdose and it frightened me. I would never use drugs.
I would never try something that while standing upright, would make my eyes close, my mouth hang, my voice slur and cause my knees to bend, suctioning in my torso lower and lower towards the ground into a squatting position and yet never falling to the ground.
I felt bad for the parents of those friends who had died of a drug related cause. Back then, it stigmatized and disgraced the remaining family members.
To think of it now, one would believe they had a Scarlett Letter sewn onto their clothing while in public.
I would never become an addict and be spoken of in the past tense, referred to as the one who died of a drug overdose. How humiliating!

Smoking was cool back then. Almost all the grown-ups smoked. Why, even Father Connolly and Father McDonald smoked!

One of TVs favorite dad's could be seen occasionally puffing away on The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968). Both Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore smoked Kent Cigarettes in commercials on The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966). And unbelievable but true is the fact that The Flintstones (1960-1966) had a tobacco brand as a key sponsor for a time. There were even commercials which showed the animated characters smoking Winston cigarettes.

Remember, Joe Camel, also known as Joe Suave and Joe Cool? Yeas, the ugly camel cartoon promoting Camel cigarettes which teenagers dubbed as, chest breakers; and who can forget the slogans made popular by television, radio and print publications?

"You've Come a Long Way, Baby" (Virginia Slims), "Come to where the flavor is" (Marlboro), "Blow some my way" (Chesterfield), "I'd rather fight than switch" (Tarreyton), Winston tastes good like a cigarette should" (Winston) and dozens of other snazzy catch phrases bombarded millions for years; even though one was more ridiculous than the last, the most laughable had to be L & M's claim that it was "Just what the doctor ordered."

Guess grown-ups were never educated enough to experiment on products that were to be ingested before releasing them to the public back then.
Never, did I think that cigarettes were also a cunning deceitful drug camouflaged by clever marketing to lure, capture and kill as heroin did!
Never imagined that while watching all the ugly as I smoked, that I too was becoming an addict, something I vowed never to become.

Nicotine is a drug and cigarette smoking is an addiction which I have had for 30 years and am still battling to end. Never say never.

Lesson learned:

Never say never.

Jennifer Grinnell, Michigan furniture delivery dispatcher turned fashion designer in cyber space, never imagined that she could make a living in a video game. Grinnell's shop, Mischief, is in Second Life, a virtual world whose users are responsible for creating all content. Grinnell's digital clothing and "skins" allow users to change the appearance of their avatars -- their online representations -- beyond their wildest Barbie dress-up dreams. Within a month, Grinnell was making more in Second Life than in her real-world job as a dispatcher. And after three months she realized she could quit her day job altogether.

Now Second Life is her primary source of income, and Grinnell, whose avatar answers to the name Janie Marlowe, claims she earns more than four times her previous salary.

Grinnell isn't alone. Artists and designers, landowners and currency speculators, are turning the virtual environment of Second Life into a real-world profit center. "It's not just a game anymore," said online artisan Kimberly Rufer-Bach. "There are businesses, nonprofits and universities" taking advantage of the online world.
With users now numbering over 130,000, game-maker Linden Lab estimates that nearly $5 million dollars, or about $38 per person, was exchanged between players in January 2006 alone. Working in Second Life is "the same as working in London and sending money home to pay the rent for your spouse," said company CEO Philip Rosedale.

Today, Anshe Chung Studios has 80+ employees managing thousands of rental properties, helping design new 3D virtual chat rooms, and making tons of money on virtual to real currency exchanges. Anshe was the first person whose virtual property exceeded a real world value of 1 million dollars, and Anshe Chung Studios is perhaps the single largest third party developer of virtual property ever. Hers is a model for a new kind of online mogul: not one who makes the games, but someone who works inside the system to make a killing. Anshe Chung is a digital life mogul. Who wants to be next?

L$ can be purchased using US Dollars and other currencies on the LindeX exchange provided by Linden Lab, independent brokers or other resident users. The Linden can be exchanged for US dollars or other currencies on market-based currency exchanges.
Linden Lab reports that the Second Life economy generated US$3,596,674 in economic activity during the month of September 2005, and as of September 2006.
Second Life was reported to have a GDP of $64 Million.
In 2009 the total size of the Second Life economy grew 65% to US$567 million, about 25% of the entire U.S. virtual goods market.

Gross Resident Earnings are $55 million US Dollars in 2009 - 11% growth over 2008.

Second Life gives companies the option to create virtual workplaces to allow employees to virtually meet, hold events, practice any kind of corporate communications, conduct training sessions in 3D immersive virtual learning environment, simulate business processes, and prototype new products.

Religion

Religious organizations have also begun to open virtual meeting places within Second Life. In early 2007, LifeChurch.TV, a Christian church headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma, and with eleven campuses in the USA, created "Experience Island" and opened its twelfth campus in Second Life.

With more and more people cashing in on Second Life, the most pressing question may be, how many can benefit before the boom times end? Wharton professor Dan Hunter, an expert on law and virtual worlds, said Second Life's relatively small size makes its economic future hard to predict. But virtual worlds are becoming spaces where "globalization of services can occur," he said. "In SL, services are valued. 'Hey, I can provide something that someone else wants! And I can make money from it!' The expansion of the economy is almost certainly going to be dependent on expanding the service opportunities." This, said Hunter, "can be generalized to a range of services -- a tremendously important trend in employment in the 21st century?

What We Take During Our Journey Through The Scene

How I Manage My Baggage

Yesterday, when we were infants and children, our world, though different in technology, rules, statutes, fashion, economy etc., was not unlike today.  Yesterday, today and tomorrow will forever be a learning experience. Our first teachers were our parents, siblings (if any) and any others who lived in our homes as we came onto the scene. We relied on them to shelter, nourish and keep us safe.   We also seem to have picked up many of their habits, practice them to this day and unwittingly and still respond to triggers which bring us back to that time.   After all, those were said to be our formative years. Fact of the matter is that, we continue to form changes as the years go by.
During our growth process, we often have strained relationships with our parents.  Wondering why this was so in many families, I pondered on it arrived at my own explanation. Perhaps it is because we, the now adult children, were slowly becoming to our parents, the Keepers of their Consciences. After all, weren't we the ones who witnessed first hand all their parenting blunders? Today those blunders are the ones which line the layers of our adult baggage; they are the underlying reasons why we adversely react to certain triggers in our adult life. The blunders our parents made when they were young and raising their little ones, (Us) became the basic material (the lining) in the formation of our well hidden carry-ons which we dragged along with us throughout the rest of our lives.  Stuffed into those carry-ons, went our earliest bad experiences; lessons of things which hurt us or made us feel uncomfortable.
ie: vanity, neglect, cruelty, rage, ridicule, shame, abuse, isolation, dominance, racism, alcoholism, adultery, drug addiction, disrespect etc., which gave us unpleasant feelings as our small bodies and minds were forming.
Adult Baggage. Don't ya just hate it?
Attempting to open up that carry-on and eliminate the junk can be difficult if we do not know what to look for. One thing not to look for is, blame. Blame exsists in our conscious mind. When we blame others like, our parents, for the way we are today, we are choosing to do so and thus, depriving ourselves the opportunity to advance into becoming responsible, healthy, loving and forgiving adults. Placing blame on someone for the way we now respond to circumstances or situations is equivalent to not trying to succeed because in doing so, we would be triggering unpleasant memories of our past. A cop-out, a way to dodge holding onto the reins and jumping the hurdles we must in order to get to the next is all finger pointing is.
A good practice to cease placing blame and finger pointing would be to accept our individual experiences of childhood days and embrace them as small puddles we had to skip over in order to reach the other side where the all the big people are. What about all the experiences we have collected and stored as heavy stones inside of that now, huge adult suitcase which we call, baggage? Well, it would be much simpler to handle if we changed the way we viewed those experiences and saw them as good things which taught us a lesson and helped us to become a better individuals. Let's change the appearance and content of our baggage. Instead of a huge bulky dull colored canvas bag full of a bunch of heavey stones which were hurled at us at different points in time, let's lighten the load by carrying instead a light-weight colorful nylon sack filled with aromatic flower petals and potpourri which we have collected as momentos of times when life gave us important instructions.

If we simply changed the perspective of how we view and interpret our experiences while 'on the scene', the stones which once weighed us down become as light and lovely as flower petals and makes our hike on the scene the experience it was intended to be.

Today, I Was Blessed By A Smile.

Today has been a great day.

I gave out the remainder of the toys I collected for the Toys For Tots Drive and left some books on the coffee tables throughout the treatment facility (DACCO); just so that those waiting may have some reading material to flip through or even take home to keep if they wanted.

On the way home, I decided to stop and do some groceries. As I entered the Publix Shopping Plaza, I noticed something that was out of the ordinary. An African American woman was slowly walking along, wearing a knit cap which barely covered all of the thick matted hair she tried to hide beneath. Her burden did not seem too heavy that she could not manage, nor light enough to allow her to walk at a brisker pace; I couldn't help but think that in those 2 large plastic bags, she must have everything that mattered most to her. My heart sank as I felt her aloneness, especially during this holiday season and thought,
"There, but for the grace of God, go I".

She reached me as I was looking in my trunk for a very special gift I had held on to for just the right person. As she neared, I turned towards her, held out my gift and asked, Would you like a Bible?" She smiled as she looked down at the burgandy vynal cover with gold letters, showing the large dark gap inside her mouth which replaced the area of a set of shiny white teeth which once enabled her to tear and chew her food and share a sense of pleasent feelings with others. It was a smile I was not accustomed to, it was one which touched my heart and brightened my day. I handed her the bible and still smiling, she accepted it and thanked me. I hurried off to do my groceries.

When I was done shopping and on my way out, I noticed the woman I had given the bible to had taken a seat by the sliding glass entry doors. I imagine she must have needed the rest and that she must have walked a long way down Dale Mabry Highway before reaching the Publix Shopping Plaza. I walked by her with my shopping cart unnoticed, as she was busy playing some sort of self invented game, continuously patting a white straw against her knee. During my drive home, a gnawing thought came over me; I kept thinking of that woman, her toothless smile, her bible and how I had just handed it to her as though it were just some extra book which I needed to get rid of. The thought continued until I entered my parking area and it told me to go back to the lady with the tender smile and dedicate the bible to her on the inside cover. In spite of my other thought (The little evil one) which told me that she probably would not be there if I returned, I felt that I just had to return to the lady with the enchanting smile. I had to correct my wrong and treat this woman with respect and honor. I also wanted to show the same regard towards the bible I had presented her with. I will do this! The bible I had given her was meant to be hers and must be treated as the valuable gift which would accompany her and bring her comfort throughout her journeys. Never turning my car off, I made a U turn, exited out through the gate and headed back towards Publix. The lady was still there in the same seat, playing the same game upon returning.

I walked over to her with my pen in hand, standing before her now I said, "Hi, remember me"? The lady looked up at me and smiled again as she nodded her head in recognition. That gentle smile. "I would like to dedicate the bible to you in writing. Would you let me do this? May I have it for a moment"? She seemed very eager to oblige as she quickly began going through her 2 bags which were on the seat beside her. She had a cup of coffee in her hands which I warned her to be careful not to spill over as she searched. Smiling, the lady handed me her bible. It was nice to receive such a genuine smile. I asked if I could sit beside her to write; she nodded her head and mumbled something inaudible to me. I then asked what her name was and though she had to repeat it to me a few times, I finally understood it to be, Nadine.

I began to fill in the area with her name which says,
Presented to___________________________ I then asked her for her last name and she hesitated awhile before deciding that, Smith would be the easiest surname for me to understand as she blew out consonants and vowels through the spaces in her mouth. I read out loud to her what I had been writing including my first and last name as well as my wish for her to be blessed today and always. After including the date, I looked up at her and asked Nadine if she knew anything about Jesus. Nadine nodded and mumbled, "Yes, I know". "So you know that He died for our sins then"? Again she nodded and presented me with her timid smile. "Do you accept Jesus as you Lord and Savior Nadine"? She looked at me seriously and responded, "Yes". "Good. You know you are never alone with Jesus in you. Right"? Again, she nodded and seemed to repeat some of what I had just said. "Okay then"! I leaned over towards Nadine, put my arm around her and cheek to cheek, hugged her. "God Bless you Nadine, you will receive many blessings this New Year. Remember that and remember to read your bible". I returned the gift of a smile to this woman, waved at her and walked towards my car, praying for her all the way home.

Nadine blessed me with her gift of a gentile and genuine smile a few times today. I am grateful that I can be humbled and that I have been brought to remember that there is not one of us who is higher or better than the other and that God loves us all equally.

A person of any age, race, color, financial and social status will fall victim to addiction if not careful. It will take your reasoning away. Nothing matters to the addict anymore but their next fix. It will take your life away. Loving, tender individuals who had great and promising futures have died due to drug abuse, drug dependancy and drug addiction. friends. Families go through emotional roller coasters, financial hardship and even illness due to drug use of their loved ones and old friendships become strained until they must all retreat from the addict in order to heal themselves. It will ostresize the addict in their community. Neighbors begin to keep a watchful untrusting eye on the addict in their community for fear that their homes will be broken into.

How to know if you are addicted to Oxycontin

OxyContin addiction is often (but not always) accompanied by physical dependence, withdrawal syndrome, and tolerance. Physical dependence is defined as a physiologic state of adaptation to a substance. The absence of this substance produces symptoms and signs of severe withdrawal, including insomnia, anxiety, and diarrhea, muscle pain/bone pain, restlessness, involuntary leg movement, cold flashes with goose bumps, vomiting, nausea and severe stomach cramps. Large doses can cause severe, potentially fatal, respiratory depression.

More people now die of oxy abuse than of heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine abuse combined. There were some 11,000 oxy-related overdose deaths in 2007 (the latest national figure available), a tripling since 2000, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, in Atlanta.

"The number today is much worse," says spokesman Humphreys. Emergency-room visits stemming from prescription-drug overdoses doubled from 2004 to 2009, when they topped 1.2 million, report federal health officials. This year, hospitals in the United States are reporting a surge in withdrawal symptoms in newborns.

Real Life People Whose Lives Were Claimed By Oxycontin

In April, oxy abuse claimed the life of "New York Rangers enforcer", Derek Boogard, who was enrolled in the National hockey League's drug treatment program.

"Batman" actor, Heath Ledger died in 2008 of a drug overdose that included painkillers; oxycontin being 1 of them.
