Offset Released On Bail

Offset paid $17k for the privilege of being released from prison. Offset is officially out of jail. After being arrested last night, there was some speculation about when he might get out, but Cardi B has now posted a video on Instagram Live of her and Offset with the caption "Home." Cardi B isn't the only one announcing Offset's return home. Quavo tweeted "H E H O M E."

There was a possibility of Offset not being released today, due to the fact that the power went off during his arraignment, but according to TMZ it continued by flashlight and Offset was released. He was originally arrested on Friday night, with his bodyguard Senay Gezahgn, while the two were driving in Offset's Porsche. The cops pulled them over for an alleged illegal lane change which Offset's lawyer, Drew Findling, denies. He also denies the existence of guns in the Porsche, for which Offset was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of weapon during the commission of a crime. Findling emphasizes that "[Offset] did not commit any traffic offense and he certainly was not in possession of any weapons. This was an improper arrest and I believe in his innocence."

Offset posted $17 thousand this morning in bail and is free chill at home with his wife and newborn. His court date for the charges is as of yet unknown.

Black Chyna, who is infamous for her own sex appeal flaunting, might be feeling slightly embarrassed by her mother's recent twerking video. Toni hopped onto IG Live to broadcast her poppin' skills from a car's front seat. Her songs of choice were "Bodak Yellow" by Cardi B and "Boo'd Up" by Ella Mai. The routine performed to Ella Mai's banger was the lewdest. Toni legit filmed herself flicking her kitty towards the camera to then lift her fingers to the lens as if the viewer could smell them through their screen after the fact. She smiles and seems amused through the whole thing. Then again, most people wouldn't be able to keep a straight face while witnessing such a display.

To some, it seems as though this puts Blac Chyna's whole career in perspective. Since Tokyo Toni is the tree, the fruit that is Blac Chyna was bound to bear some of the flavor fed from her roots. These women have every right to amuse themselves and entertain the public with their sexual antics. Of course, there is still the question of how Chyna's own daughter, Dream, might be affected by the publicized content of both her mother and her grandmother petting their kitties for all to see. This might have something to do with the kid being kept away from her grandmother.

Offset Reportedly Arrested For Gun Possession

The Migos member was reportedly caught with at least one weapon in his car.

Offset and the Migos have been having an amazing year so far with the release of Culture II and their individual success with feature spots. In fact, the group has shaped the culture so much that Set decided to immortalize their influence with his daughter's name, giving his and Cardi B's daughter the name Kulture. Unfortunately, the recording artist suffered a little bit of a setback today as he was reportedly arrested for possession of a firearm in Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.

TMZ is reporting that the rapper was nabbed after being pulled over for tinted windows. What is usually a minor infraction or a warning ended up bringing Offset to jail as the cops discovered at least one gun inside the vehicle. As a convicted felon who is currently on probation, this is a pretty bad violation for Offset. The publication is stating that he is still behind bars in the state and there is no current information about possible bail or a timeline on when he will be released. According to TMZ, neither Cardi or baby Kulture were in the SUV at the time of his arrest.

Offset had just performed the other day at Dana White's son's birthday party. They say bad things come in threes, which appears to be the case with Migos as both Takeoff and Quavo reportedly owe the state of Georgia thousands of dollars in taxes. Hopefully, everything is cleared up for Offset soon. As details emerge, we will update you.

Offset Is "Very Concerned" About Cardi B and Kulture After Being Arrested

Offset's lawyer delivered his messages to the public.

Offset, of Migos, was arrested last night and has been charged with the crimes that many a rapper have been stuck with: possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of weapon during the commission of a crime (the crime being the possession of marijuana and an illegal lane change). After much speculation, Offset's lawyer, Drew Findling has finally come out to address the public (through an interview with People magazine) and get the rapper's side of things heard. The lawyer said of the charges: “He did not commit any traffic offense and he certainly was not in possession of any weapons. This was an improper arrest and I believe in his innocence” and said also that Offset is "holding up as best he can considering the circumstances and knows he has not broken any laws. He is going to have his day in court.”

The arrest is very bad timing for the rapper, who just had a child, named Kulture Kiari, with his wife Cardi B. Offset's lawyer shared a message concerning Offset and his feelings toward his family outside: "he is concerned, very concerned, about [Cardi B]" and “of course his new baby is his top priority as well as his other children."

Offset will likely be released Sunday morning, since his jail has been posted already. He was expected to be released on Saturday morning, but there was a power outage in the jail.

In celebration of the Air Jordan 3's 30th anniversary this year, Jordan Brand has released several iconic colorways and there's still much more in store in the coming months. Among the 3s set to release in the second half of 2018 is a "Triple White" aka "Pure White" colorway that is now scheduled to arrive at retailers this week.

As the name suggests, the kicks are built on an all-white tumbled leather upper, similar to the "Pure Money" Air Jordan 3s that were unveiled in 2007. However, this upcoming pair lacks the hits of silver and “Pure $” branding, and it features a translucent blue outsole. According to reports, the kicks will be releasing on Saturday, July 21st for the retail price of $190.

Major retailers such as Foot Locker, Footaction, Eastbay and Finish Line will have the kicks in stock, as well most other sneaker boutiques and Nike retailers, including Nike.com.

Chris Brown lets his little lady shine. Chris Brown is currently on the road for his Heartbreak on A Full Moon tour and it seems as though his daughter Royalty has been joining him for the ride.

We've already seen videos of the four-year-old attending his dress rehearsals, and more recently we saw that he invited her on stage to say hi to his thousands of fans. The latest update on Royalty's tour adventures is a video Chris shared to Instagram that sees his special lady posing on the red carpet, and it's too cute.

You can hear the number of photographers asking her to smile, look at their camera and she's taking it all like a pro - check it out below. "I think with me, the main thing is probably patience," Chris said when explaining what his daughter teaches him.

"With me, I always want stuff done right now—'Let's get it done, let's get it done!' but, you know, being able to be a father and, you know, seeing my daughter, you know, from those gradual stages, from crawling to walking to saying words now, you know, learning different things every day is kinda just teaching me patience."

Eminem just can't seem to get the selfie thing down.

It's always a little funny when someone in the older generation doesn't understand how to properly get into the trends of this generation. Take the selfie, for example. Staring at yourself was limited to mirrors and reflections just a decade ago, but now, millions of people around the world spend hours literally staring at their own face. Many of the older heads have made snide comments about the youth's obsession with looking at themselves, but others have embraced the relatively new phenomenon. Eminem, who is 45 years old, has been struggling to get his selfie game on point for a few months now.

Marshall Mathers is way too intelligent to actually be having a hard time adjusting to selfie culture, but we'll play along with his hilarious and awkward pictures for now. Em is currently across the pond in the UK for performances at Twickenham Stadium. While in London, Mathers invited Ed Sheeran to join the stage with him. The two undoubtedly performed their single "River," which was featured on Em's last album Revival. After the show, Em, Sheeran, and 50 Cent got together to take a selfie. Em is almost completely cut out of the photo, but Sheeran and 50 are front and center. Sheeran even reposted the selfie on his own Instagram, and included 50's favorite phrase, "get the strap."

Chris Brown is infinitely impressed with Lil Wayne's lyrical ability.

At this point in both of their careers, both Chris Brown and Lil Wayne can be considered among some of the greatest to ever pick up a microphone. While few can consider themselves lucky enough to be included as one of the GOAT's, Chris Brown seems to believe that his "Loyal" collaborator is the greatest of all time because of his ability to consistently find creative phrases to rhyme with tricky words. Songwriting can be pretty difficult at times. While some choose to write from the heart, others flex their mental with hard-hitting bars that make you think twice about what you just heard. Weezy F is absolutely among that second category.

In a repost of Lil Wayne's "Bloody Mary" lyrics from his Juelz Santana collab earlier this year, Breezy was clearly impressed with how many terms Wayne could find to rhyme with "suicide," going on and on with each bar going harder than the preceding one. Captioning his upload as "THE FUCKING 🐐!," the singer's fascination with the New Orleans recording artist is clear. Since the two have been on a number of tracks together throughout their careers, it's clear that a mutual respect exists between both Brown and Wayne.

Drake Remains No. 1 On Album Chart, Future & Meek Mill Debut In Top Ten

"Scorpion" has earned the largest second week of sales in over two years.

Drake's Scorpion has maintained its position at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a second week, Billboard reports. The album has moved 335,000 equivalent album units, down from 732,000 last week. Only 29,000 of this week's figure comes from traditional album sales while the rest is the result of streaming. The album has earned the largest second week of sales in over 2 years. The last project to do numbers this big in week two was Adele's 25, which moved 1.16 million in its follow-up week in 2015. This makes for Drake's 23rd week at No. 1 on the album charts. The only two rappers ahead of him in that category are Eminem (32) and Jay-Z (25).

Future's Beastmode 2, which was a stream-only release, debuts at No. 3 with 57,000 units. The project is his ninth to hit the top ten of the Billboard 200. It is also the highest-charting album released as a streaming exclusive, surpassing Chance The Rapper's Coloring Book which debuted at No. 8 with 38,000 units in 2016.

Meek Mill's Legends Of The Summer EP has debuted at No. 9, making it the fifth of the Philly rapper's projects to hit the top ten.

It's a rap-heavy week in the top ten with Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys at No. 2 (71,000), XXXTentacion's ? at 4 (51,000) Cardi B's Invasion Of Privacy at 5 (44,000), Juice WRLD's Goodbye & Good Riddance at 6 (41,000), Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Everything Is Love at No. 8 (29,000) and Lil Baby's Harder Than Ever at 10 (27,000).

YFN Lucci Was Allegedly Arrested In Atlanta This Weekend

Rappers and police have a long history of beef. In fact, the creation of hip-hop can be attributed to a counter-culture movement that directly challenged the establishment and the justice system. For decades, rappers have spoken about the hip-hop police, a special task force created to stalk Black men with money in the industry. In a video that has been making its round online, it appears that YFN Lucci had a run in with the police this weekend.

Lucci was allegedly arrested in Atlanta on Saturday night. According to The Shade Room, Lucci was taken to the Atlanta Detention Center, but bonded out this morning (July 15). In a video attained by TSR, a lady can be heard commenting on the arrest while recording Lucci being detained by police. The footage is blurry, but Lucci appears to be wearing the same outfit that he was seen rocking on his Instagram Story on the same night. A subsequent social media post features Lucci saying, "The police was hating on me," while showing off one of his rides. Other than that quick reference, Lucci has refrained from speaking about the arrest publicly. The details of the arrest have yet to be released. This is not Lucci's first encounter with the law. He was arrested last year for fleeing police, and also had a run-in with the law alongside Reginae Carter last month.
