Karachi: NICL scam: FIA arrests absconder Aamir Hussain

Aamir Hussain , a key accused in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) multibillion scam, was arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Karachi, Geo News reported Thursday. According to FIA Sindh Director Muhammad Malik, Hussain was taken into custody in Karachi, adding that the agency is in contact with the Interpol to arrest other absconders including Ameen Qasim Dada and Khalid Anwer

Peshawar: Antiques seized, 2 arrested

The police seized 400 years old antiques worth of millions of rupees during search of a passenger van and arrested two persons on Thursday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Tariq Habib and Station House Officer Riaz Ali told the media that the passenger vehicle was intercepted on a tip-off. They said the relics were kept in secret cavities of the vehicle and were being transported to Islamabad from Afghan Colony situated in the limits of Faqirabad Police Station.
