Just got kicked off of the friend's list of a so-called "Christian", because I chewed her out for simultaneously praying for the President, and inciting greater hatred for him at the same time. I don't care what your religion is; If you are truly praying for someone then you are also committed to investing in their well being. If you pray for our leaders, ACT LIKE IT!

I am so sick of so called “Christians” who spout off about Obama, who claims to be one of them, being Muslim… as if somehow being Muslim would make him any less American.

If the religious right wants to live in a theocracy, I say let them go make their own damn country and leave ours alone. The truth is that they make up a smallllll freakishly powerful minority and the nation would be better off without the judgmental chimpanzee-esqe poo flinging that they bring to the table anyhow. This is not to debase all Christians, but I am so sick I could spit fire, at people who talk out of one side of their head to embrace Christianity and who from the other side act so entirely unlike their Christ as to be the only people their Christ ever hated. WTF???? Man Steals Olympic Torch to Promote His Website!

Courtenay BC- November 2, 2009

A blogger and aspiring novelist in Courtenay British Columbia was arrested today in a bizarre attempt to cash in on free publicity for his website http://dudejustclickme.com

The man, Sevastian Winters, 38 borrowing a play from the folks at the gaming website golden palace, stripped down to his underwear to reveal the name of his website. Upon stripping, the man ran up to the relay runner carrying the Olympic torch and stole the torch, leading onlookers to gawk while police did their best to apprehend the man without snuffing out the torch.

Eventually satisfied that the game had run it’s course, Mr Winters in an unexpected move, stopped and handed the torch to an officer and promptly submitted to arrest while the crowd cheered. It was unclear whether the crowd was cheering for the man or for the police, but one thing for certain, his website, http://dudejustclickme.com is sure to get a lot of hits after the stunt.

In related news, that is exactly what you would have read if I (Sevastian Winters) had actually had the stones to pull it off. It didn’t happen. The torch is safe, but hey, it was a funny story nonetheless right? Pass it on!

Hypocrites - All the Way!

Hypocrites - that are easily shown to be hypocrites, drive me insane. we are all hypocrites in ways. However, ugh . . .

So, I had this "crush" on an older guy, let's call him Davd. I would always get way too nervous to tell him how much I liked him. He shared my faith. He liked kids. He seemed to like dogs.

The differences? Our ages and where we lived.

I finally got up the nerve one day to write him an e-mail. It was years later. I always thought he'd think I was too young, but I was finally 25. I could make good adult decisions at that age.

He wrote back and told me that he was in a relationship. I had no problem with that. However, he also wrote that I should try to find a guy much closer to my age than he because I was too young!

This made me really mad because somehow I found out who he was dating through all my social network stuff. This gal, Susan, was only one year and one month my elder! I've plenty of friends that are older than she is! Now, I'm too young?!?!?

Then, I found out that back in September, she had his baby. That fact is still all "aww," and what not, but honestly, it ticks me off because this guy is a guitarist in a fairly well known yet underground band. At least they don't profess to be "A Christian Band."

However, you'd think he would promote decent behaviors, one of them being sex after marriage, wouldn't you?

Well, Davd and Susan got married in April! The child was born in September! Yep, she was pregnant in January!

Some people just seem to get more hypocritical the longer you know them.

Okay, this totally pisses me off. It also grieves me. 4 boys with lots of others watching, gang raped a girl for 2 and 1/2 HOURS at a school in California during the Homecoming dance. That is not only awful in the act of rape, but in the fact that NO ONE DID A GOD DAMNED THING TO STOP IT! EVERY student who watched and did nothing should be JAILED. I don't give a shit how crowded the jails are. The fact is that we have raised a whole generation of kids who haven't figured out how to conduct themselves sensibly. NEWSFLASH people! This is the offspring of MY generation... My generation that is just now taking over the stewardship of the planet. That means these kids... the kids who are part of a generation that are pulling this shit, are 20 years away from starting to run the country. So listen up dumbasses:

1) If you are a man and you have kids, I don't give a god damn why you and their mother hate each other, MAN THE FUCK UP AND FATHER YOUR FUCKING CHILDREN! They need love. They need attention, they need DISCIPLINE, and leaving the raising of those children to single moms who are bone tired because either you aren't helping to raise them or worse, you bitch and moan about your little fucking child support stipend that you pay whenever the fuck you feel like it, putting extra strain on those mothers and thereby those kids. I don't want to hear anyone guys out there tell me how it's not just men. It's mainly men. So shut the fuck up and man up. if this doesn't apply to you, then move on.

2) Men, there is a TIME TO FIGHT. When you see a man mistreating a woman, bullying her, etc, I do not care if your children are with you or not. MAN THE FUCK UP. The only way to handle a bully is to kick their teeth in. PERIOD! Don't be nice. Don't be a little girl. Be mean. be threatening. Use a tire iron if you must. Violence against women and against people who cannot defend themselves adequately is fucking unacceptable. Don't go looking for a fight, but by god, stop minding your own fucking business. That could have been YOUR daughter at that high school. You think your daughter is going to grow up and be safe if you don't man the fuck up and teach these young punks that there is a piper to be paid when they pull shit like disrespect.

3) AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, SO I AM YELLING ALL OF IT! TEACH YOUR CHILDREN HOW TO MAKE GOOD AND RIGHT DECISIONS. STOP TEACHING THEM WHAT NOT TO DO BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH IT ANNOYS YOU. INSTEAD CHOOSE TO TEACH THEM TO MAKE DECISIONS THAT SERVE CREATION...THAT SERVE HUMANITY RATHER THAN THEMSELVES.

A couple was recently denied a marriage license by a judge in Louisiana because they are an interracial couple. This is crazy in 2009. What's more? The Ridiculous judge stands by his decision. I have NO time for anyone who has gone that far off of the reservation!)

This does NOT apply to ALL religious people. Someone trying to discredit me in a forum recently asked, "Sevastian, DO YOU HAVE AN AX TO GRIND?" Here is my answer:

Yes... I do have an ax to grind.... the same Ax Jesus used when he wove a whip in the temple and then USED it. Jesus came that man might have life and have it more abundantly, (according to your book, not mine) You people have turned the thing into a den of pharisees.

Jesus reserved all of his hatred and venom in life for the most religious people of his day. They thought they were right too. In their legalism... their zeal to force people into their brand of holiness, they completely obscured the view of the Holy ONE. Man does not find the creator as the result of being shown his sin... but of being shown abundant life.

Jesus said "The kingdom of God is at hand" There for those who would but reach out and grab it) It was his overwhelming mantra. he did NOT come into the world to condemn the world but to SAVE IT. People who need saving KNOW they are drowning without ANYONE having to tell them so. Jesus grew in favor with both God AND Man. People FLOCKED to hear him speak. When is the last time that "lost" people FLOCKED to hear YOU speak???

Don't give me crap about suffering persecution for "His name" unless someone is feeding you to hungry lions. Verbal retaliation after you beat people over the head with your morality on a personal or a political level does not constitute persecution. If your ministry doesn't look like the ministry of Jesus... if your ministry doesn't inspire the animosity of religious people and the ear of the " lost", then DUDE, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!

While unloading our shopping cart at the good 'ol "Big Box Store," (not the store's real name) I overheard a conversation between our cashier and another customer. What made my ears tune-in? H1N1, of course. Strangely enough, the cashier said that her doctor believes she has H1N1 Flu Virus and should be at home; however, the manager of "Big Box Store" had apparently told her that if she misses one more day of work, she'll lose her job. Seriously? My husband and I looked at each other in shock. The customer she had been talking to was rightly nervous and obviously trying to make a quick escape. Can you blame her?

As we proceeded to check out, the employee made no effort to cover her mouth as she coughed, hacked, and spewed forth whatever germs that she may be harboring. Sure, it could be the regular flu she tells us, but her doctor is pretty sure it's H1N1. Give me a break. Why is this store putting us all at risk of catching something none of us want? This is stupidity on a whole new level of stupid.

We stayed as far away from her as we possibly could, but I'm sure it was a vain attempt. It was as if she didn't care. I was, and still am, very disgusted by the entire thing.

I'm sure everyone else is just as concerned about this virus as my family is. A majority of us do the right things: we wash our hands, cover our mouths when we cough, avoid high risk situations as much as we possibly can, and we expect those businesses that we buy from to be just as diligent as we all are being. It's a sad sign of the times when anyone would rather risk it all and continue to work rather than telling their employer to shove it when faced with a potentially deadly virus that has the capacity to infect others. I know I certainly would.

Cursed or even “blessed” chain letters piss me off! You know the ones I’m talking about. They always say something like:

“If you send this to 50 people in the next 5 minutes, you will be sailing on your motor yacht (which by the way is impossible) by Christmas!”

Or

“If you don’t send this to 50 people in the next 5 minutes, your genitals will be infested by the fleas of 1000 camels.”

Now, to be fair, we all assume these sorts of pleas for attention to be the total bullshit they are, but the thing is… I watched way too much Fantasy Island as a kid. How do I know you didn’t have your stupid chain letter hexed by a voodoo priestess prior to sending it? What if I think it’s all bullshit, but it’s really not? Might I be throwing away millions of dollars, or inviting scorpions to consume the flesh of my innocent children simply for lack of a willingness to click a few buttons? I know its all bullshit, but what if it’s not? That pisses me off.

By the way, on a side note, if everyone who reads this sends this to 50 people in the next 5 minutes, I will be sailing on my motor yacht (I’ll find a way damn it) by Christmas!

Over-Packaging

Over-packaging pisses me off. Recently I bought a “Family Sized” package of a name brand over the counter medicine. When I got it home, I opened the box.

The box was portioned with a piece of cardboard. Two thirds of the box was empty. In the remaining 1/3 was a bottle of pills. I pulled out the bottle and opened it.

Upon opening it, I was then forced to remain the cotton balls that filled 80% of the space in the bottle so that I could get to the pills.

So the actual product took up 20% of 1/3 of the total size of the package. The drug company in question made the package bigger so that:

A) They could credibly market the product as “family size”, cuz a family that takes drugs together does (something that makes this sentence funny) together. Awesome!

B) They could make their logo big and pretty for me to see on the shelf amongst all of the other over packaged crap.

C) Give me a good reason to knock the push up bra and padded bras (which I won't do here, though that too is a form of over-packaging)(NO... that's NOT a sock in my pants.... shut up...I don't want to talk about it. )

Hey… I have a great idea…. Hear me out on this, because I really might be onto something: Instead of spending all of that extra time and money on raping the planet in order to market your product to me, Try this instead: MAKE A BETTER FRIKKEN PRODUCT! Do you think you can handle that?

1) Start a Company that Sells inferior product at just above market price and ships it to you from afar. It’s important that the product be inferior, because quality costs money, and that is unnacceptable.

2) Re-route your customer service calls to India in order to both save money on labor and remove yourself from close contact with yucky customers who are mad at you because you sent them an inferior product.

3) Offer low cost financing for that inferior product though a company that is separate legally from your company, but which bears your name. For example, if you are Dell Computers, set your financing company up as Dell Financial Services) (by the way, I’m breaking my own rule by using a proper name of a company here, because I am the one who gets to decide whether or not to invite a libel suit. I challenge Dell to sue me. They’ll lose. My site. My rules)

4) Make it impossible for your clients to talk their way up higher than 3 levels in the customer service.

5) Make it impossible for the departments to talk amongst themselves.

6) When the client stops payment on their financial obligation despite your company’s refusal to service the shitty product you sent them, cry foul. After all, They borrowed money from your financial company. That has nothing to do with your shitty product company. The client’s beef is with shitty product company… not Shitty Product Financial company.

7) Threaten to ruin the client’s credit if they refuse to pay shitty product financial company for the money borrowed to purchase shitty product from shitty product company.

8) If unable to collect through intimidation, send client’s account to a high pressure collection agency and go get a new victim…. Um… I mean client.

There you have it… You now know how to completely screw people without the benefit of KY Jelly. It works for Michael Dell of Dell Computers (and affiliate companies) it can work for you too! And oh yeah…. FUCK YOU MICHAEL DELL!

Toiler Paper Pisses Me Off

Okay... Im not about to stand on principle by starting to use my left hand or anything, but Toilet Paper pisses me off! Think about it.... if you buy it on sale, as I am committed to doing, you still spend like $8 for a 24 pack. now, I'm a guy, so I don't use all that much of it, but I have 4 female humans in my home. So a 24 pack of toilet paper lasts about a week.

At $8 per week, that is literally $416 per year that I flush down the drain. Sadly, that is more money than billions of people on this planet earn in a year. So while some poor lady in Southeastern China works 18 hours to make a buck in a day, my family, which is by no means well-to-do uses that much money to buy product with which we wipe our asses before flushing it down the drain. That seems wrong to me on a fundamental level. Never mind the number of trees cut down just to keep my ass clean.

As I said, I'm not about to stop using the stuff. I'm sort of trapped on that level. But it is something to think about. God's cruel joke? Why are humans the only creatures that cant pinch off the end with their sphincters and walk away? Toilet Paper pisses me OFF!

Unnecessary Intervention?

I live in a home with 3 dogs, 5 indoor cats, 3 outdoor cats, 2 rats, and a tank full of fish. I know from experience that pets make home maintenance difficult. Recently I replaced a piece of screen only to have it ripped 24 hours later.

Pets add wear and tear to properties. The animals are however, well fed and well cared for and well loved.

This week in Houston, 1,045 animals were "rescued" from a home that was apparently in disrepair. the problem is though, that the conditions of the animals themselves belies the article as given.

The animals shown in this clip are BEAUTIFUL, well fed, clean, etc. I have a hard time believing these animals should have been taken from a home on the basis of the fact that the home was disheveled. In my opinion, the fact that the animals are in good condition is the telltale sign of humane society abuse:

Okay... so you mean to tell me that it costs $9.8 million dollars to house 44 homeless people? Seriously? So 44 people are going to receive $222,727.27 worth of shelter each while thousands more are left in the cold with no roof? Someone needs to be fired for disgusting, wretched, gross, nasty, inexcusable incompetence.

They should have scrapped the building idea and instead given everyone EDAR units I'm not saying that the EDAR system is necessarily the best system but at $500 per unit. I am, however saying that the same 9.8 million dollars could have put a roof over the heads of 19,600 people throughout the province. So congratulations hot shots! You have managed to waste 9.8 million dollars on a building program that has no real chance of easing homelessness.Maybe someone will give you a fucking award for your altruism!

I am not surprised that the teacher, the subject of the following video has been reprimanded, but I have a problem with the fact that she was reprimanded nonetheless. These were high school students. Frankly, if by that age, a student is not able to process vulgar thought and to think artistically regarding vulgarity, then our society has failed those kids. The teacher should have been left alone. At least thats my opinion:

While Americans are whining about the dangers of health care, those of us living happily under a single payer health care system in BC Canada have our own worries when it comes to government Oppression…the dreaded HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).

Currently BC residents pay both a PST (provincial sales tax) of 6.5% on certain goods and services, as WELL AS a 6.5% GST, a federally mandated sales tax that initially was supposed to be temporary, so 13% gets tacked on to pretty much everything except food and pharmaceuticals… and even some of them are taxed. Highway robbery, but it comes with no surprises.

However, the Campbell Government in Victoria has decided to combine GST and PST into a single pay sales tax to cut down on paperwork, but in so doing, they have also decided that by applying a 1% dab of KY jelly on the end of the bill, they can bend BC Residents over and fuck us all right up the ass with long, hard, meaningful strokes. The plan? Drop the total rate to 12% (good, like KY) followed by “making it easy” on businesses that sell multiple types of goods and services, by making everything taxable

My family goes through about $1800 per month worth of food. With 5 people eating, adopting the HST will raise the total food bill from $1800 to $2016, costing me an additional $216 for food per month, or about $2600 per year. That of course will be offset by a 1% drop in other things, but the total savings from the drop in my case comes out to about $200 per year. So, with some fancy footwork and a lie about 1% savings, the government of British Columbia has figured out how to rip $2400 per year, $200 per month out of my family budget.

To make matters worse, it appears that the provincial government will be doing this without referendum, meaning that the people don’t get a say until such point as the premiere, Gordon, the con-artist Campbell calls an election, which he doesn’t have to do for about 3 more years.

HST is a rip-off and it pisses me right the fuck off!

Michael Moore is a Big Fat Hype Machine!

Okay, I know that I’ve just sent everyone into a tail spin because everyone expects me to shoot from the left, but listen up, because I’m not a leftist or a rightist. I shoot straight from my gut.

Last night, Jay Leno interviewed Michael Moore (I watched the pathetic show out of morbid curiosity. I give it half of a season. It’s like the man forgot how to conduct interviews)

Michael was on the show to promote his new dysentary and… Wait what? Fine… “Documentary”, called “Capitalism: A Love Story”. It’s all about how unfair it is that 1% of Americans own 99% of the weatlh and 1% have to split the other 99%. He used an analogy of a pie on a table with 10 pieces. One guy takes 9 pieces and the other 9 people in the room have to split one piece. What Mike, the Socialist, Moore forgot to tell you was that there are plenty more pie fixings in the cupboard, if you will just get off your ass and make another fucking pie!

I’m so sick of people who assume Rich People are bad because they are rich. I’m so sick of poor people that think that rich people somehow owe them something. That’s crap. You know what? While it may not be true in other places, in America, ABSOLUTELY ANYONE can get rich, using the principles of finance. Getting rich isn’t about getting a big paycheck. Read the Richest Man in Babylon. Getting Rich is about managing that paycheck in a way that creates riches no matter how small that paycheck. Anyone who disagrees with that is…NOT RICH.

Anyhow… back to Michael Moore: Michael Moore is not only a pompous, self righteous blowhard. He’s also a hypocrite. On top of that, he insults people with his fashion choices. I’m not just saying he’s a bad dresser. I’m saying he literally insults people with his fashion choices. In his attempt to market this ridiculous idea that he’s just like us, he has created a fashion image that looks nothing like us, but which he apparently thinks we will buy into. He apparently thinks that by dressing like a baffoon, he can show how much he has in common with the general populous. In short, HE THINKS YOU DRESS THAT WAY!

What Michael fails to tell you is that he is PART OF THAT ONE PERCENT. The guy is filthy stinking rich and gets paid more money from the wallets of poorer people every time he makes another one of these formulaic movies wherein he disses anyone with fame, power, or riches.

I’m not saying the man never makes a good point. Even a broken analog clock is right twice per day. I’m saying that a man as rich as Michael Moore has no business making a film about the injustices of capitalism.

We are a Democratic Republic. And thank GOD for that! These people giving uninformed or misinformed speeches in the guise of asking questions are proof positive that it's better to hire people to govern us than it is for us to govern ourselves.

I repeat what I have said previously: When the people of the United States disrespect the institutions that they themselves have created and upheld, then the end of the nation is eminent. Sacred respect for those institutions is the only thing that gives those institutions the power of governance. Joe Wilson desecrated not only the office to which he was elected but the halls of the United States Congress and the Presidency of the United States in that moment, and anyone who has supported that action through donation is a traitor to their nation.

Okay, so maybe that title is a bit over the top. That said, the following video pisses me off in more ways than I know how to adequately describe. I will give it a shot though. First the video...then my followup:

Okay... so where am I pissed?

1) A speech by the sitting President of the United States commands a higher standard of respect than a speech by a FORMER President of the United States. This is NOT about respecting the man, but rather respecting the office.

2) The title of the piece is "Parents Protest Bush Event". That is NOT what the fucking video is about. This is not a damned "tit for tat".

I don't even know how to go about explaining the difference to people too thick to inherently GET IT. So as I said before... ARRRRRRGGHHHH!

Jon and Kate Plus Hate is ridiculous. I don’t know why anyone bothers to interview either Jon or Kate. Jon (suitably named, though Dick would have worked too) said on Camera recently that he despises Kate…and this is "news".

THIS JUST IN: Cheating bastard that left his wife and EIGHT children has justified himself to a point that he now blames her for his fuckups!

Give me a break! Surely there is SOMETHING on this planet more entertaining!

This show is bad parenting at it’s worst. Not only will these kids grow up in a single parent home. Now they also have to grow up with video evidence that Daddy hates Mommy. Get those fucking people off of the god damned airwaves.

Since when did we get the idea that our culture is any less cruel and indulgent and delighted by people being ripped apart than the Romans in their coliseum! These people aren’t NEWS. They are hurting… and the news is only adding to the pain of the innocent. ‘Nuff said!

Drooling dumbass drivers really get me worked up. A vehicle is a serious thing to be in, not a damn toy. And guess what morons in Denver North Carolina, just because you married your cousins, don’t mean you work for NASCAR. Slow down and pay attention to simple things like a turn signal.

This is a rant directed at drivers everywhere but Denver NC boasts the dumbest drivers in our fine state. If you don’t use a turn signal then you are loudly proclaiming that simple laws do not apply to you, that your shit don’t stink and so fourth. Well what you are called is a one armed son of a bitch whose family tree has no limbs on it.

My new favorite thing is people going as fast as they can behind you when you are making a turn. That way you either have to fly into the turn or get ass ended by some moron of less than normal intelligence.

Respect the road and obey the traffic laws that are there to protect your dumb ass. I had to quit carrying my gun in the car for fear of doing the world a favor in some road rage.
