Yea, it could just be as simple as walking into a room or facing someone. The moral is just to cross the threshold which have been holding you back from doing stuff. Believe you me, the picture is much more beautiful from the other side of the hedge.

People are hesitant of exploring new things, well mostly. Everyone would say that they like taming new territories but not many work towards it. Don't know what they think? Possibly, waiting for some kind of force which would force them to do things, that they should do on their own. Yes, fear is not the easiest emotion to overcome, but when you do, it is THE most satisfying emotion. You know, I mean you people must have tamed some of your fears if not all. Some of you have admitted to your crush, as many don't. You of you may have jumped of a cliff into water or bungee jumping whereas many just watch others do it.

Its all about moving out of your comfort zone. I added two new territories to my list this month and to keep it going. There are many things I can do but it's just the deficiency of determination because of which I keep procrastinating things.

And the major event of the year, which probably or at least half of us wait eagerly for, is here or actually it has reached half way. We have completed 2 days of entertaining, fun filled, ego clashing and cliffhanging matches and another 2 are left, including the final.

Though, I know many of you may not be interested, but this is for me and I think I want this. So, here a little zest of the tourney till, now. GPL started with three teams – Smashers, Rock ’n’ Rolla and The Avengers, namely. Yea, we watch movies. We - Rock ’n’ Rolla, comprising majorly of players who won the GPL – 2011, started as the favorites and till now have very much lived up to the expectations. Talking of the format, all three teams needs to play two matches against each team, meaning four matches for each team. Leaving all the technical jibber-jabber, the center of interest today is the evenly poised condition of the open tourney as it reaches the last stage of the league matches. Rock ’n’ Rolla with 1-1 win-loss of the two played, Smashers with 1-2 win loss of the three and The Avengers with 2-1 win loss ratio will clash ego of the last day. All kind of permutation and combinations are in for this week till we all actually get to know what happens on this Saturday and the picture will be clear.

So, if you didn't get the seriousness of the game till now, these few will surely make you.

Hmm… well, that’s what exactly the greats and legends have gone through around the world, many a times in their life. Now, considering this, I’m confused to congratulate people like Malala Yousafzai(student and education activist), Pakistan or Razan Ghazzawi (blogger and activist), Syria.

The recent show rage and disruption caused against someone’s view on national activity (talking about the “bandh”) in India – the largest Democracy, as they (the government) boasts of as an opportunist, here and there, now and then. Well, if I was in shoes of people who control this, I would have chosen not to do anything like this and let the view of that “commoner” die its own little, pitiful life rather than trying to make an example out of the commoner and thus, giving one the much needed fame and popularity they needed to be the next activist or great or leader. You don’t want to give someone opportunities like this and give them that push which may push them across the threshold and then you have a new enemy in line.

I have no idea where I started from and where am I leading to. I’m all in for free speech but think if I’d be holding the position of a suppresser or dominant, I believe, I would have done a better job.

It’s great to have a couple of readers and thus, I believe this won’t land me into any kind of troubles.

With the title, I tried to wording my a thought, a feeling and an emotion. The feeling of believing, a conviction about the two truths of life. The truth of almighty and Love. Indiblogger - Delhi Meet / We Loved Rajiv Makhni

It was the Indiblogger Meet in Delhi today............. I think, I did write about it a week earlier. Any who, it was great which I believe, is becoming a pattern with the blogger meets these guys are organizing. Well, actually, they had planned for two Bloggers meet - one and also the first was for the Women bloggers sponsored by Dove and other sponsored by Spice Mobiles. So, a lot of women bloggers over stayed and made it - by far the largest gather of Bloggers under one roof that Indiblogger have organized in Delhi and I believe, we may have crossed the all time record too.

About the Meet

The high points of the meet where the opening welcome by Anoop (The zombie) from the Indiblogger team and everything just went up and up after that. Rajiv Makhni - the famous guy from GADGET GURU - took it over from there and then, taken to new heights by Karan Singh, of whom I hadn't hear of earlier but won't be forgetting after today. Rajiv with his wit and presence of mind hosted and kept the show high though out the time and Spice mobile offering free phones, helped him pretty well. Karan Singh, the mind reader, only god and few intelligent people in this world know how he played games with people's mind. I have not seen anybody do that kind of stuff - LIVE. And performing LIVE isn't easy.

These were all high points. A few low points were the discussion in which I was involved about "Mobile Security". I could see people all sitting in front of me were eyeing me as if they are counting the ribs they were going to break after it. This is caution note cause if you see people talking trash and cursing me for those painful moments...... yea, I know it... it was painful for me too.... I lived them too.

I thing which upset me most was not getting my "30 seconds of Fame" and probably, would have disappointed a few others too. So, a big BOO HOO for that from me.

I wish I had some pics to share but I have a bad camera and don't want to ruin the image I have created, probably.

Anywho, to finish it up, it was the BEST Indimeet I have attended and mind it cause this was my sixth IndiMeet....... how many have you attended huh..... ????? huh ????????

Howzat Cricket

Being a cricket buff, Howzat Cricket had to do really good as game for me to like it. And for change, it did. I have gone through different online games but ESPNCRICINFOR's Howzat Cricket is the best cricket simulation available online.

I have been hooked to Howzat for more than a couple of months now and been enjoying and getting a bit addicted to it. Plus, because Howzat works with Facebook, I can play the same with my friends. I can challenge them, brag about my achievements in the game and just about anything which I choose.

The game lets you hit shots all round the park. Though, I specifically like the one offered through the "off-side". The bowling style of bowlers does change really well according to their international namesakes. So another way, for the people who love cricket, to have fun.

Snow White and the Huntsman

I did try to save my weekly expense on movie this week so that i could spend it on the two movies releasing this coming Friday, though, couldn't as I was getting bored to death today - Monday. I went down to watch the newly released "Snow White" movie. One of the primary reasons to choose the movie ahead of others was Charlize Theron on the posters,though, I did see Kristen Stewart in cast but I'm more of a Theron fan than I dislike Stewart.

Charlize Theron's being part of the movie was enough for me. I have been a great fan of her and have been missing her from the big screen since a few years. Primarily cause of her movies doesn't release in India that easily and Hancock was the last Theron movie released in theaters given that Prometheus is yet to release in India. The only movie of Kristen Stewart I liked was "In the Land Women" but then she had a small supporting part in it. It was good to see Chris "Thor" Hemsworth, whom I recently saw in "The Avengers". I hadn't hear about Rupert Sanders "Director" about much earlier, so no comments for him.

The movie takes a bit darker take at disney's fairytale of Princess Snow White. I liked how the movie starts. It has pace which remains with the movie for most of the part. Being a fairy tale, good graphics and animations was pretty much given. The action sequences in the movie are good starting from the first one when the King saves the "Ravenna" (Charlize) from the Dark Army which proved as a trap, till the one in the end between the wicket witch Ravenna and Snow White (Kristen). The characterization of both the characters played by Charlize and Kristen is pretty strong and where as, Charlize did a brilliant job with it and shows her experience and talent which bring the character to life. Though, Kristen failed to do so and seemed pretty weak at few moments. Her lack of experience showed through her portrayal, though, I'm not trying to prove anything less of her, she did have her moments in the movie but lacked the maturity. She was looked beautiful and innocent to be easily related to Snow White, though, the same she couldn't do with her performance. Chris Hemsworth was good with his part as the huntsmen. He plays the guy who saves the Princess and then, falls in love with her beauty and innocence.

The second half of the movies moves it focus from the Witch to the Princess which kind of killed the movie. Though, it is a movie which i recommend but that's only because of Charlize Theron.

I Can't Go On, I'll Go On

I have no idea why I picked this title for the post, possibly, it won't be relevant to the things I'll be keying ahead. But, that's what I believe is the title about, doing the things you like, even though, you suck greatly at'em.

Any who, after working for two successive weekends, which doesn't mean I didn't on the weekdays, I had a weekend of this time. I kind of enjoyed it - my style. Went for dinner a few good places. Laid back and saw a few movies I had in my collection of movies-to-be-seen. But it was the news I got sometime in the evening on Sunday. Its about the next Indblogger meet to be held in Delhi, which a bit unusual cause they don't do Delhi this time of the year and cause the Indi team doesn't like the heat of the Delhi at this time of the year.

Well, hoping that this time the Indimeet won't be lonely as was the last one which is why missed the Bangalore Indimeets as i have attended 3 Indimeets there and a few people know me by my name.

Also, the reason for this post just to announce that this space ........ is not dead......and I have taken up my blog again and many of you people will be seeing a lot of this blog around the places soon.

Joyous Enough To Forget Being Alone

I can easily call this was one of the best weekends I have had this year and now, that I try to recall, I will call it the most Favorite weekend till day, 2012.

To start with, I and my team had a good or better than good win over a better than good team in an official cricket match which was organized by company. It's more of a cricket tournament with four teams and each team plays all others. So, this weekend the tournament was kick started and it felt to start on a winning note. This also marks the first win for me as a player for any team in official cricket matches organized by my office. P.S. I have lost two previous matches. But, this tournament will a whole different story and I'm going to make sure it does.

Other than that, Sunday, second day of the weekend, was super exciting which was started by one of the best suspense and thrill filled Indian movies I have ever seen. I heard strong recommendations and brilliant reviews for the movie and after watching, I was going rounds about the movie among my friends.

However, watching brilliant cinematic performance was soon overshadowed by an even thrilling, cliffhanger of a cricket match between India and Pakistan. They all call matches between India and Pakistan as the "Mother of Matches" and so, truly agree to it.

I feel very elated after such a great weekend that it doesn't bother me that I didn't have anyone to share this joy with.

Bachpan After Pachpan

Childhood - "Bachpan" is said to be the best part of your life. You don't know what fear is, you don't have to be responsible for anything or better, other people are held responsible for your deeds. It is the carelessness which I miss the most. When there wasn't any hesitation. You don't really mind people watching while you were throwing tantrums at your parents. It was the damn "maturity" which ruined everything.

Any who, I'm way past my childhood and into the maturity zone, though, I do feel I'm kind of stuck in transition which is the worst, believe me.

I have also learned that old age better than childhood. The carelessness comes back to you. Responsibilities goes down the flush as the new generation takes over. Same was my thought when I saw these children come out and enjoy themselves in the middle of a huge crowd.

The event was organized under the name of " Bachpan after Pachpan " by High Street Phoenix, Mumbai. This flash mob of people aged 55+ rocked the place. They stood tall and presented an example for the people around them. It's hard to get those small little happy moments in this busy life and many of us loose them while regretting over the bad ones. This is one of those moments.

Watching these people on video induces an energy into me, though, I don't prefer to dance - not as child or even as an adult - and don't even planning to do something like it in the future, but yea, it did something to me. I do to have a spirit like this when I reach this age.

Any who, I wanted to take this spirit to as many people as possible and that's is the reason, I've shared this video with you all. Kindly, take an minute and I know a minute would be enough.

The Day and Night - Amritsar

The trip to Amritsar was not a well planned or thought trip. Just a back up plan which was taken up after PLAN A didn't work out. Even though, this was an ad-hoc kind of trip, it went pretty well. I hated the travelling part which, I admit, I hate a lot, always.

The trip started with an early morning in Delhi Railway Station. It was a hazy morning, however, as if the somebody knew that we're about to leave and cleared all the fog by the time we left home. We reached the station on time and so did the train. Cause we had to catch the train early - it was a 6:00 AM - so, I took the blanket out and slept through the journey - wasn't in the sight seeing mood @ 6 in the morning.

Any who, we reached Amritsar on time, no matter how unbelievable it felt to me but it was true. After hearing so much about Indian trains, I had such a bad perception of trains reaching in time but at least, for a day though, it proved wrong.

First thing, we did was to check in and eat and eat a lot, as we haven't had since morning and won't be for a long time. Then, we went in to re-visit the history and the remains of carnage which took place @ Jallianwala bagh (Search wikipedia for information about Jallianwala bagh). Being there, made me felt that how badly was the remains were maintained. The Martyr's well for full of coins and many more things which people threw in. There was a tall red monument which was build in the middle of the Bagh with no information about it. I didn't know what to even call it.

We went on to visit Darbar Sahib - better known as The Golden Temple in English and Swarn Mandir in Hindi (Search Wikipedia again for more), which felt a bit strange to me as Darbar Sahib is a Gurudwara, however, when I read more about it, Darbar Sahib is originally called Harmandir Sahib. So, I thought may be that is the reason about calling Darbar Sahib a Temple. Anyway, all the questions were rested as I entered the premise. I could see The Darbar Sahib, shining in the in the middle of the holy Sarovar, even though, the Sun was a bit dim and the weather was murky. I clicked and clicked a lot. We had wait in the line for at least an hour and half which gave me the chance on watching The Darbar Sahib while the sun set and in the lights too. As this was my elder brother's second trip to The Darbar Sahib, so we had a good tour of the Gurudwara. We went to see where The Guru Granth Sahib have been placed and experienced the peace in every corner of Darbar Sahib. We came out of Darbar Sahib with a lot of peace. Then, walked around the Sarovar a couple of times and back to the inn.

We didn't had much time to visit the Wagah Border, however, we did have enough time to a renowned Dhaba - place to eat - in Amritsar, called Kesar Da Dhaba. I had seen the place on TV during an episode of "Zayaka India Ka" (Flavor of India) and yea, was excited about being there. Everything they serve was drenched in Desi Ghee which may have not enticed a lot of people but it did to me and my family. I stuffed myself so much that it wasn't easy for me to get up and thinking of reaching back to the inn felt wasting a lot of time. However, to digest all of heavily fried and drenched in butter food, we decided to walk to the inn. Well, it felt as of this was the exciting thing we did in Amritsar, but, there was still a small trip we had to make - to reach the station @5 in the morning. Dilli's chill was good to us but it wasn't the same in Amritsar. It was cold, really cold. I believe it was less than 2 degree's at time. I was shivering like never before.

I had register for KFC's bucket of Fiery Grilled chicken via Indiblogger on Monday and received my coupon by Saturday. If you remember that a couple of Saturday back, we had a Lunar Eclipse. Though my mom, believes too much into the eclipse affecting our lives, I insisted on getting the voucher redeemed the same day. I had to, well, not convince but persuade her which was successful. So, it was fixed that it will a KFC's Fiery Grilled dinner at home.

Me and bro drove to the KFC and presented the voucher and one which was surprising that the girl behind the counter didn't ask any question. She took the order and we waited. My mom being a vegan, we had to pick some veggie food which was not a big fuss. We asked the people at KFC to hold on to our order by the time we come back. When I offered to pay for the order, they suggested to do that when the order is completed. Good for me.

We went out and bought the shudh-shakahaari food. We came back to KFC, payed the bill and took the hot, grilled chicken to home. When at home, I took out my wallet and phone to keep it on the table, I realized that my phone was missing. And just like you see it in the movies, a string of events flashed, at the end of which i realized that I forgot picking it up after the payment. Because late hours - 9:00 or 9:30 - there was no one to tell me to pick it up plus the guy who took the order went behind while i was collecting the "chillar".

I drove back to KFC with my heart in my mouth cause I love my phone and it is a hard earned phone of my own blogging money, as don't get much writing opportunities. I went into the KFC and thanks to that guy who held the phone with himself and showed me as I entered. At that very moment, it felt it as if I have opened the gate to Heaven and there was this angel with wings and halo, extending his hands towards me with phone.

Okay, it wasn't that filmy but if you know me, I'm a big movie buff and if, I had shot that scene, it would have been exactly the way I described above.

I suck at ending or climax or closing, so I think i'll leave this at -- Today, I had my second Fiery Grilled.

Pimp My Workstation

I believe everyone wants it - to get their workstation / cubical pimped and pimped good. I would surely love to get one. I have so many things i can get rid of or make them look different. My machine needs a technical pimp for sure. In an era of the second generation Intel processors, I'm still using the old Dual Core processors. Then , may be few more hundreds of GB to my hard disk would be a great help. Some, I don't know what or which things, however, things which can make it look like a smart cubical.

To get my cubical pimped, I'll be participating in the "Pimp My Cubical" contest held by Contest Factory. I'm already registered with them and working on the video nowadays. You can check the Pimp My Cube Contest and roll in to be part of the contest. Then, you can call your buddies in as I'm and increase your chances of winning. Plus shoot a video of your cubical, make it look as pathetic as it can be, so that the judges at CF can rate them as the worst video and hence, rating it the winner and taking on the tough task of pimping your cubical.

Still didn't get the things I tried desperately to make you understand, then, try the video which tells you each and everything, again.

The day which could have been

This day could have been another of those hundreds of days when I would just lay back, watch a movie or talk to someone on phone or chat the hour out. But don't know why and where got this energy to sit down and try to post an update on my BLOG............. sometimes, it just seems delusional that I'm a blogger. There have been pretty few event in past couple of months which can support that hypothesis.

Believe me, I'm not at all busy, though, I think I have found someone to spend this time and somewhere to spend this time at. In the meanwhile, I have doing a few things. Such as, getting excited for Indiblogger meet this coming Sunday, getting over the dismal loss of my team against the rivals at work in a game of Cricket for which was kinda my fault but it's good that not everyone I knew was watching me perform. Well, when I think about it again, I believe it was the best thing about that Game.

I have also been keeping up with my movies. Some of the recent movies I'm proud of being seen are The Adventures of Tintin - The secret of the Unicorn and Rockstar. Both being directed by people I admire for their work. Tintin is being presented by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson and Rockstar is directed by Imtiaz Ali.

Event though, I have few more things to share but need to get on with my daily routine. So, until next..........

Lately It Has Been

May be, its about time. It have been pretty long time, since, I have updated my page. I have been keeping up with my blog and I know it does take some toll of me too. I like writing or, say, updating my blog because this is the only instance where I try my creative mind and try to type. This keeps me in the habit of learning new words and better way of expressing my self. This was the mojo which was keeping my typing consistently last year. Though, I think i have lost it now. Its not like i have busy with work or life. My life and work still sucks the same way as were last year, if not more.

~~May be~~ Naah, It's surely me. I have been lazy. I have been doing nothing more these lately, then ever. Lying around and just thinking of any and everything. Don't know why, but i have a hunch that one day the lying around will help me. God knows what will that day be like.

May be someday, my life won't be like my inbox with only spam mails and nothing meaningful.

One of the things i miss here, after coming to home from Bengaluru, is the advanced technology, especially the POS systems. I missing taking my card out and paying because shop with POS's also accept cards, well generally. When I saw 127 hours, the movie by Danny Boyle, the one thought which was going round and round in my mind was can I, in my wildest dreams, do this? No, not axing my arm off my body, but to travel into a country side with no signs of humanity around, alone.

Then, may be I am not cut to be like this but i would certainly love to do something similar one day. Moving away from the culture and all the noises, somewhere far enough, quite enough for one to hear oneself. No wonder people retire and move to places like these and take a much deserved break from the hectic schedules of life and just indulge in the air and calmness.

Though, i feel its still to early to say something like this but I would certainly want move to a place similar in the latter years of my years. Well, being a googler, i tried googling my thought this instance again and found some interesting results. The one on the top was Boulder real estate, which seemed like a great place to escape to. You can find the various or may be all of the Boulder CO homes for sale and choose the fittest for your pocket and dreams.
