On Current Visit of OBAMA to India !!

U.S. President Barack Obama seems to have achieved something of a diplomatic coup during his India visit: He avoided any slip-ups that diverted attention from his chief mission – jobs for Americans and charming India.

But two big issues went unaddressed that show there remains much work to be done, despite the warmth of the visit, for this bilateral relationship to scale the new heights both sides say they want.

First, kudos to the President. In hindsight, his refusal to mention Pakistan on Saturday was smart from his vantage point; it meant that the issue didn’t dominate all three days of his visit and overshadow all others, as happened when British Prime Minister David Cameron visited India earlier this year. The trumpeting of commerce and jobs played well to both audiences and sucked up all the newsprint available for the weekend, along with some warm and fuzzy moments with Indian youth.

And Monday, he could say what India wanted to hear on Pakistan (no safe havens, prosecutions for the Mumbai terrorists) and on Afghanistan (we will not abandon you) while chastising the Indians on Burma in a way that the U.S. can now say to Pakistan that it wasn’t as if the President let India off the hook, either. Then there was the largely meaningless but rhetorically significant India-in-the-United-Nations-Security-Council line, which delighted Delhi.

The White House will be feeling very good about all this, especially as the visit took center stage in our newspaper and others in the U.S. over the past few days, with the Democrats’ midterm catastrophe receding into the distance.

There are, however, two caveats to this rosy scenario.

The first is what was established five years ago as the cornerstone of this new relationship: The civil nuclear pact between the two nations. This was something the Obama administration actually thought was done and dusted when it came into office two years ago, according to a senior U.S. official. But they found that several hurdles remained to make the pact operational in a way that would benefit U.S. nuclear power suppliers.

The Indian Parliament’s recent liability bill threw up another hurdle and furious negotiations have been underway for the past several weeks to get Indian regulators to find a solution that would allow U.S. companies to supply equipment here without fear of crippling liability should something go wrong. Mr. Obama said in his Parliament speech that “we are now ready to begin implementing our civil nuclear agreement.”

But there was no sign that the issues separating the two sides had been resolved, despite how hard the U.S. had tried to secure agreement before the President’s visit. A spokesman at the U.S. embassy couldn’t be reached for comment.

The other major issue that the U.S. had signaled it would like to see is greater access to India’s retail market, which is now very restrictive toward foreigners, especially multi-brand retailers such as Wal-Mart. Mike Duke, CEO of Wal-Mart had pressed the issue on a visit here before Mr. Obama arrived, arguing that permitting foreign ownership of retail stores like Wal-Mart in India would reduce prices, create jobs and modernize the country’s agricultural market and supply chain.

If foreign direct investment “in retail is opened up, we can contribute more,” Mr. Duke told a group of Indian executives and bureaucrats. “That’s why we support opening up the retail sector 100% to foreign investment.”

Montek Singh Ahluwalia, deputy chairman of the Planning Commission, at the time said the government was in favor of opening retail but didn’t say when or how. It appears that the when certainly wasn’t during Mr. Obama’s visit because retail, as far as we can tell, didn’t warrant a mention in any of the many communiqués distributed by both sides yesterday.

Pakistan got mentioned more often than retail and we know how sensitive that is. The new parameters for the relationship laid out by the White House didn’t even mention U.S. foreign direct investment in India but did mention Indian foreign direct investment in the U.S. A spokesman for Prime Minister Singh couldn’t be reached for comment.

As we said, overall Mr. Obama navigated the tricky shoals of his India visit carefully and effectively. But these are two high priorities for U.S. business that appear to have been shunted to one side in the interests of smooth bilateral relations. A test of the strength of the new partnership will be to see if these are revived and solutions are found or whether they are allowed to languish in the interests of maintaining the appearance of harmony in the new, indispensable relationship of the 21st century.

US and the developed countries need to take up the issue of corruption more seriously. Obama could have included ‘ reducing corruption’ as a necessary requirements among responsibilities for countries eying a UNSC seat. His conditions like Iran and Burma does not carry any relevance when US itself work closely with China - the worst human rights violator on the planet and the driving force behind Burmese and Iranian dictators.

1. humans are an economic resource. So why not discuss free flow of monetary investment and free flow of workforce investment together? If an Indian techie is accused of taking away an american job, then similarly Wal Mart will do to an Indian job of worker, artisan, enterpreneur..
2. US corporates are far too protected by their government. If french, Russian etc are fine doing nuclear business with India under existing Indian regulation, what concern should US companies have?

I would say opening to foreign investment in general, not just retail, as the conditions around foreign investment are still quite difficult — from approval processes, to visas, to land acquisition.

Another issue, more difficult to address, but related to the investment issue, is addressing corruption.

Why is the media not reporting on obligations enforced on nuiclear equipment suppliers in countries like US/UK/France? If nuclear equipment suppliers wish to equate india with a banana republic and get away with immunity, that can not happen. After Bhopal tragedy, people are wiser and so are our politicians. Let us not accept terms that we do not consider equitable

Pakistan Cricket is reflecting what this nation is standing for now, country has gone to wolves and morality stands where one young cricketer leaves team with out telling any one before last and most crucial match of one day series between Pakistan V/S South Africa in Dubai .Pakistab won Last match in a nail biting finish due to last wicket stands between Whab Riaz and Zulqarnain haider (WIcket Keeper) both were heroes of the match & Sries leveller but two days after that whole nation was shocked to hear that zulqarnain was missing from his room, suspence and speculation continued till evening when news brocke out that he was reached London, more shocking was his statement that he was given serious threat to life and his family by some un known persons for not loosing the match !!!
Zulqarnain is young but seems to be in intense pressuer or in some unknown fear in past two days lot of conspiracy theories are rolling , PCB has banned him for life, ICC wants to extract mileage by taking him in his cover and use his inside stories for maligning Pkistan Cricket..Toothless PCB and its croock cheif is busy putting last nails in the coffin of international cricket of Pakistan, his foolish antics and mishandling the issues has already put Pakistan ob the verge of BAN from international cricket...!
Pakistan as a nation is already on the brinks of being bankrupt morally and economically and our ambassadors of peace , our players were the only thing which use to make our nation proud and use to give a moment of joy here and there but since last one or two years they are being proved to be the main factor of embaressment for whole Nation , when they are found cheating on the ground or off the ground..!

Nation is dejected at the state of affairs way PCB is handling them. Mohammed Asif in his short career was found repeatedly guility of many ethical and criminal offences...if PCB has taken stern action against any of the players in the past the things shouldnot have gone or decayed up to that state.
PCB is being ruled by same old farted lot of beaurocrates and expiry date cricketers ,PCB cheif is cousin or close relative of a ruling party Minister and he has fixed his close cronies as Managers of every team which goes out side Pakistan. Pakistan lost his face when SriLankan team was attacked in broad day light in Lahore and international Cricket was shunned for this cricket loving nation, all scheduled tournaments were taken from the hands of Pakistan to Dubai and India ....!!!
Today Pakistan is most condemned team in international arena....Government lost its faith and face long time ago, common men in Pakistan is only thinking for next time meal for his family and children in this state no body is reacting on the plight of cricket in Pakistan..what Zulqarnain did perhaps every Pakistani would do if given a chance ....leave the country and seek asylum any where else even the Bangladesh will do.......!!!!!!

Brace your self for ringing bells of change and heavy boots at door steps of Parliament, than every thing will settle down at its place, judiciary will award them legitimacy of action, as usual, if not they will also be shown door for being a party against various governments, Media will start praising their bravery as usual, as we have seen in past, or they will be banned on one pretext or other, Politicians are weakest link in the string they are proven extremely corrupt by their track records, in all scams our known politicians are involved or their links suspected, they fail to under stand in past three years that whole nation suffered for democracy in long long dictatorial rules, they should have curb their greed but only those are fair in this nation who did not get any chances, once given they are as naked as new born !!!! Government is blamed for being inefficient and extremely corrupt ! From day one they gave every reason to quarters scaning democracy to prove them ineffcient, from restoring of judges, to inumerable financial scams against almost all Minsters and their coteries is order of day, it seems they do nothing except miniting illegal money, they are not concerned with evry day price hikes, rather they were instrumental in sugar , oil and floar price manvuoring , they fail to express sincerity in solving problems rather they tried to take advantage of situation by making heavy and doubful options to mint money , power crises they inherited and was hugely promised to solve in one year but problem's solution offered by an honorable No water, No Power minster was ridiculous and extremely unfair to already debit ridden nation , motive behind that move was as clear as day light ….they failed to see huge local coal reservoirs, they will leave with huge volumes of stories behind them but are the politicians only corrupt elemnt in society....!!!

We all are equally corrupt may it be beaurocracy of any kind, NGOs, traders and all other strata of society only those remain honest who didnt get hands on some thing, Our society is out right corrupt and that corruption is not only in money matters but at every aspect of social life, We misuse our powers, we are extremely biased religiously, ethnically and with pseudo insights all of us are doing one thing that is destroying this country....!!

Coming to my original point back , we have most corrupt system of judiciary at lower levels , we hoped that with change in upper judiciary and its loyality to change system, what we are witnessing as common citizen that judges on a ego trip after their restoration, there is no change in system of judiciary at grass root levels, a common man is insulted, grinded and squeezed by this very same judicial system at Tehsil, district and all levels of Justice, our most corrupt institution is Police and lower judiciary, where cases are sold rather decided on the basis of law and rules written in the books of law, all higher court judges are well versed with problem people face at lower courts and they them selves were promoted from a lower court gradually to higher courts, all respectable judges have experience of being a Lawyers except few they how a common man pays to their Peons, readers and other contacts to get Dates and decisions............And what change they have brought in that system in past 5 years of revolution they are creating, from the day of restoration to this dates they have tried to paralyse adminstration due to their faults but is that the solution ! What will happen when an other Martial Law is imposed due to their Egoist stands against Adminstration , end result is clear every one is playing at the hands of those forces which never wanted civilians to rules...!! they always started campaigns against democratic governments from day one and all parties consiously or unconsiously playing at their hands...!!!

Third party in this game is media, We are having a very insane and rabid media , who is unable to handle their newly found Liberty of expression, since last decade Pakistani public has seen witnessed a huge & mushrooming growth of news channels, we are 70% illetrate Nation but evry one among is a honrary PHD in Political Science may it be a Pakora vendor in Hala's Shahi Bazaar or a so called Dr so & so sitting in a cosy Tv channel show or a ever changing stance as a chief editor of a largest circulating new paper of a BIG group of publication every one wants to run geovernment according to their views, the Pakora seller of Hala or a clerk in primary school and 50 plus news channel anchors most of them paid for their propaganda views and rabid attitude on their programs are responsible for Death of democracy in this country , amny of those salheen are enjoying illegal percks due to their backmailling qualities, they remain in close cercles of governments and heads of states, they purchase clothes from highest designer shops and except plots and percks from govrnments of the day, they portray as most honest persons of the nation but they are all equally black inside, do not want name any one , govrnment records are their how many of them got plots from variuos governments in Past 40 years of their honest and un blamished career of journalism, how many of them are on pay roll of one or other agency or party or group, there are very big names who want to change the mood of listners and fabricate their attitudes towards government of the day by their columns or by vomiting poison on their tv shows.....!! if democracy derails they should also be equally accountable for derailing this very poor nation back to square one, some of them will get minster's port folio others will get plots or get allotted huge houses in the names of their spouses or immidiate family members or any other bribe as “Bakhsish” for job well done....but they should also think at their role in democracy's failure in this country......!!!

Opposition parties and Parties in coalition of this government are either right fully or silently responsible for imminent down fall of this government , some of them are in parliament others on streets they never won enough seats to make achange but they always found a chance when a uniformed person is in power , they are also responsible for democracy's fall often because they are the people who got their chances when democratic forces are booted out, our religious parties remain in power most of the time as most of time this country was under the rule of a uniformed crusader...!!

The largest coalition and friendly opposition and ruling party in largest province is also dragging nation towards Martial Law, although their leadr is expressing his views for in house change but he knows very well that time for in house change is fastly runing out of hands and their anticipated turn of ruling is also runing away very fast, world is changed almost at 360 degrees than was in 90s, in nintees they got two turns each but this time they may not get that chance too, because this time we are already in severe men made and natural crises, beside that in their own party , there are many with fake degrees, many of their parlaimetarians are involved in corruption, credit card theft and they are not totally free from corrupt allegations, if their chief Minster reaches every where at Rickshaw, cycles, Ching Chee it may give political mileage and Personal photo shoot opportunity for their CM but many see as media stunts because where ever he goes he is followed by TV cameras on vehicles while Super CM is trying to reach on Cycles and TONGAs !!!!

MIAN Sb may be sincere with Democracy and a politics of tolerance and have a changed vision but many have doubts in minds, as their own past record is extremely doubtfull in terms of financial corruption, tax returns , Ego problems and their wrestling with Judiciary, Civil and Military Managers of country..what they did with a finest chief justice of Pakistan is not in a distance past !! how they pay for their personal publicity and media image is also not hidden from any one...!!

Same is with self exiled Leader of an ethnic party trying very hard to prove itself and political and national force but right from their birth todate they are a autocratic and strictly fascist organization, they have failed to create impression on me and many others who know their real face, they were fabricated by agencies and is strictly a non democractic organization, how people are forced to vote for them is known to evry citizen of our financial capital,How they back mail their coalition partners and severe ties with them if their demands are not fulfilled, how they summon people to attend their function is known to all, have you seen such an organised public meetings where minsters. Party leaders and public sit as statues in front of telephone sets for hours in an strict like Primary school children or like an army cadets sitting in a well disciplined class room !!! the call for revolution to a nation devastated by huge catastrophe , illiterate, leader less and rudderless was as a huge farce and many know true meaning of that call, they plundered the whole budget od Sindh for ten years , not spend or allow to spend a single penny on interior Sindh the dictator of last decade was an ethnically sick man too , he gave them free hand to plunder Sindh's rights , they want martial law so that they should re start their looting game, they are still doing the same but now seems to change their mind due to problem they are feeling with current government is they do not want Sindhis to come to Karachi.....as they did during Swat crises, they fail to hide their true face when issue comes to other than a particular ethnic group comes to Karachi...they have inducted thousands of their workers illegally in various lucrative government posts , with out legal qualifications and fake degrees ..WHY NOT OUR TV CHANNELS SALHEEN ANCHORES AND HYPER CONSIOUS JUDICIARY TAKES SUO MOTO NATICE OF TARGET KILLING IN KARACHI AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE INDUCTED AT HIGHER POSTS BULLDOZING THE RULES AND WITH FAKE DEGREES.....why Not 12 May carnage on the arrival of Same chief Justice is being investigated by a SuoMotto...!!! Why Not MUSHARAF is being Charged for tyranny For Last COUPE and 12 years of illegal rule. By a set of SUO MOTTO.!!!

There are many elements in our Society equally corrupt but no one is thinking about them, only onus is on current government , what they dont know is may be there comes an in house change but it will be for limited time and same campaigns will be run against politicians again just to reach ultimate goal by pushing Pakistan again in darkness of Martial Law for another decade...!!

Their is huge corruption is our Bureaucracy , their legal perks and undue expenditures is huge burden on this poorest country's tax payers, regardless of their status as civil or Military they are huge curse on economy, with rise in ranks they cause huge indent in national budget if counted, there is accountability an check on expenditure and now what we spend to save them , many of them do not purchase a Tab. Paracetamol from their own pocket but claim billions of medical expences in fake billing , even a relatively new department, who earns sizeable money and is lable one of the most honest rather unusually honest institute of this country is no exception , there is paramount corruption in that department but most of that done legally as white collar crime and full documentation,but they will kick out an honest Officer who never claim a single perk but same department left him to die when he or she has Cancer for dying penny less.....This is shame less action , How can be that department free of corruption when it can not help its own honest , straight forward and sincere employee, that department is quoted as only honest department by international donors and its models are being replicated, lot can be proven and a lot is done behind the closed doors as legal right.

Education and Health is most neglected sector economically , we never gave priorty to them, our priorties are Nuclear bombs, submarines and aeroplanes for every tom, dick and harry on higher seats

What is this?

I am living in Islamabad twin cities since 1988 but I love Rawalpindi more than Islamabad because it is more like a city than Islamabad and it has some flavor of Hyderabad , hence it is always that at least I will once drive into pindi’s bustling roads and bazaars.

it is since last two years or so that Beggars whose numbers were limited that were always on the roads , speed breakers and halts, but than since last two years you have started seen the professional beggars with wipers and other tricks to get some money out of your pocket, but what I am seeing since last one years or less there are small kids who look from middle class house holds they are there on these halts every where and this situation is heartening, I licked to cry when a Girl aged about 6 or 7 years just like my own daughter came to my window and said please give some rupees , khuda ki qasam khana nahin khaya subh say!!!! Tears came to my eyes , I refused to talk to her and what ever was in my pocket I kept on her small hands and moved away ??

Reading daily in papers that poverty is reducing in country ! which country they are talking about ??

Where are those poor turned in to middle class?? It seems we are getting more middle class in to poor, more poor below poverty line every day.. it is quoted from Hz Umar the second khaliph , that if even one dog sleeps hungry on the banks (as far as) of FIRAAT or Dajla I will be accounted for, Hw can I sleep a sound sleep than!!! I wonder how our beloved monster like president sleeps than in these circumstances does he has any acumen what is happening on our roads and hamlets, Pindi is city which we both share has he ever seen this shame full naked example of poverty , does he realizes what is going on in his country where his security engulfs billions of Rupees per annum and an innocent fairy like girl was begging at mid night on the Chandni chowk !!!

Our ruling elite and their families does nt know the price of living in today’s Pakistan does they?? I bet they does not, if they know they can not translate it in their minds while an officer of grade 17, 18 ,19 or 20 can not live honestly how can a clerk, naib qasid and small vendor !!

Resultant debit is increasing in every one’s life , not only our Government is debit infested but each and every one among us is heavily under one or other sorts of debit and now another cyclone has to strike in few days its of annual budget who will be as always tax free! No new Taxes will be announced!!! But it will indirectly crush us under more taxes (Indirect also) , more debits and more dishonesties!!!!!!!

Does General & Proud politicians Of so & so Party.. have any Idea what they have done to us?

if They ever come to know that how many mothers have sold their bodies to get one times meal for their kids or taken prostitution as profession to fulfill needs of their homes than if They are human beings They should go mad!! they have this type of courage inthemselves??
I don’t think so that any of our rulers has this material in them by default…. They are insoluble plastics of a material, super human beings and there eyes are on bigger cause of moving Pakistan to the ranks of developed nations which they will do by making half of country impotent and half of ladies prostitutes!!

Burden of shame !

We talk more and do nothing, we have a very big Ministry of Social welfare & Special Education where only paper kingdoms are built and they flourish too but across the dream oceans!!!!
In 30 years of its inception they have failed to curb issues of social and moral ethics, they have a vast net work built but it is only wastage of paper, tax payer’s money and resources!!
In last thirty plus years they have built and running some 100 centres of Special education and strangely it is only department where Teachers are given selection grade for gossiping and fan fare they attend in the name of duty , the whole empire is erected on the expense of poor & special children , I will write in detail the in side out stories but some other time.
Ministry of Social welfare & Special education has two big Divisions including several sections ,one big Directorate of Special education and other is social welfare wing with its separate DG and many directors and a huge empire of Bait ul Maal.
Social welfare is supposed to take up issues regarding all social evils and arrange, research and create solution for their curb.
What they are doing and their performance is a very big and debatable issue today I want to point out towards an other disturbing ,humanitarian crises which pinches me daily when I cross in to Rawalpindi from Islamabad or vice versa.

We can easily see the hordes of young masculine and
feminine she males and eunuchs on every road halt in the Rawalpindi and they just mushroomed in past two or three years, before them, these Road points (CHOWKS) were covered by the families of wanderers , mostly small girls and boys and than young adolescent teen aged girls, just started gathering there and these points become commercial hub of activities for small flower sellers, wind screen cleaners and beggars, demanding few rupees on one pretext or other ! Than some smart girls started gracing the road halt, they earned hefty sums daily by just standing on one chowk or other of Murree Road.
Than suddenly these He-males and She-males started appearing in hordes and they pushed the girly workers to far corners on the road in front of us, daily commuters on the Murree road!!!
Every body knows who are they and what they do despite asking for money from the road users, there are at least

hundred of them on the crossings from Islamabad to Rawalpindi to Committee chowk, because they are afraid from Islamabad police so they don’t come to Islamabad but at each entry point from Islamabad they have displaced ladies who use to have Qabza on these points.
One of them is Anjuman who doesn’t look like Anjuman from any corner of her body except from her thighs and protruding abdomen ,she has a husky masculine voice , an other Resham, than there are Sridevis, Madhuris, now a days Katrinas and Reemas, following the names of bolly wood and lolly wood chicks!!
obviously they do not have begging as their only trade and these names are not their original names , these are identities given by their Gurus !!
History of eunichs is as old as mankind it self , they started with birth of human beings because we are always at risk of producing genetically abnormal children , they are either abnormal sexually or they are born with the mind of a male in female or vice versa and history is full of such characters and specially Islamic history is full of them.
If we will see the past of great Mughals, umaids, Abbassids, Ottomans and all other great dynasties they have personal body guards and attendants in their harems called “Khawaja Seras” and some of them became so influential in these Muslim dynasties that they have changed Rulers at will and were main figures in side political intrigues of palaces of our great Muslim rulers.
Traditionally in sub continent when Moghals gave way to Britishers of East India company , in initial days of Raj, gora sahib also kept these Khawaja seras as their personal attendants but with time and modernization they also took of f their patronage and only the local rulers and Nawabs kept them as symbol of pride and as tokens of old traditions.
With 1947 whole scene was changed and they had to earn their living by singing on the eve of marriages and child birth across the length and breadth of sub continent.
There can be groups in a city connected to a central Gurus where they live in secluded houses under the patronage of that guru who himself is a senior Khawaja sara , I have seen their “Marhis” in Hala and Shikarpur near our Mohallas, we as children use to make fun of them when they came to Bazaars or on some local child birth functions, but now I regret my being involved in theses acts as a child because I feel as responsible as any one to disrespect the fellow human beings !!
Why they become such, has a scientific back ground as each of us knows we have certain numbers of chromosomes fixed in our body ,when a child is made equal number of chromosomes from male (father) & female (Mother) join in to make a fetus of them one pair is sex chromosomes, one comes from mother and an other from father they are called “X” & “Y” chromosomes, if both chromosomes are X than the child born is female or Girl, but if one chromosome is X & another is Y ,than baby becomes a male , so the genetic formula for a male child is always (XY) and for female or Girls is (XX). Any thing other than that can change the make upof baby , some times in early phase of child’s making at cellular levels in first 12 weeks , hormonal influence, drugs and infections can arrest the normal development of the child and despite being male his appearance can be feminine or vice versa…..some times they chromosomes duplicate and child has XXX inspite of XX , or XXY inspite of XY for being a normal male, these children are born with rudimentary genitals, feminine bodies and masculine bodies in males, there are many syndromes in Medical science which can be identified like Klienfelter’s Syndrome, super female syndrome etc,etc.
These abnormalities in genetic make up can lead to child’s phenotype (physical) appearance but many of them are treatable by plastic surgeries and hormonal treatments.
An other way of making a male in to female or a female in to male is also greatly under practice, when qualified surgeons, endocrinologist ,gynecologists make various operations, hormonal therapies and artificial implants to change the appearance of a man or woman to look like opposite sex.
A lot of normal appearing males or females feel them selves uncomfortable in their original sexes , like a male feels he is not a male , he is comfortable in ladies company and want to be a female, so they undergo these type of operations but after changing sex they can enjoy copulation but never procreate, actually many of them are actually females in wrong body or males in wrong body too.
But what we are seeing on our cities, villages and towns ,many of them are actually genetic abnormalities but also among them many are transvestites (males wearing clothes and attitudes of females or vice versa), or she males ( changed general appearance under hormonal influence & artificial implants) ,medicines allegedly change their appearance to look like opposite sex and Silicon implants make their breasts looks & feel like a women, or same hormones (sex hormones ) can change a woman’s appearance to a male by hair growth and slimming their bodies to male like appearance, these are not completely transformed but half way.
An other crude form of sex change is illegal operations done by some medical practitioner by castrating their male genitalia and after that giving them hormones at least 50% of them die during or after those operations performed in substandard ,hidden places under un sterilized conditions and on the recommendations of local GURU’s by their confident Dr. half of them die due to Tetanus or some other serious infection and sepsis in very miserably, this is being done in Pakistan and India at many places and mostly young boys attached and attracted to lives of Khawaja seras are brain washed and they willingly consent and arrange money for such operations and rituals are performed before and after the success full make over, whole thing is strictly kept secret even if he or she dies.
We are socially inept nation and full of many types of Taboos , we still see homosexuality as disease while science proves it a genetically determined condition, any genetic condition is not disease, social and surrounding environment determines one’s personality up bringing , we are afraid to talk on issue which is endemic to our every town, village, city or Mohalla !! Hundreds of children and adolescents are raped daily willingly or un willingly in length & breadth of Pakistan.

Its high time to take many issues in to account including ones we called taboos.. like our able ministry of Social welfare and Special education should take the rehabilitation of those unfortunate human beings in to their list of beneficiaries, its high time now that we start taking serious note of plight of fellow beings.
A media campaign should be run in print & electronic media for general public awareness, that if a child should have abnormal genitalia it should be examined by an expert Pediatrician and child surgeon many of these conditions after genital and genetic examinations can be modified and many of them can live a comparatively normal life.
All children regardless of sex and status screened for atleast 10 diseases which is practiced internationally ,that will drastically reduce our rate of mental and other disabilities, NA should pass the regulations in this regard and every new born should be screened in first month of his life and every new born should be seen by Pediatrician and his or her genitalia should be examined.
All Pregnant ladies should be examined routinely for fetal developmental abnormalities and they should have right to terminate pregnancy if the child has gross malformations and his future life is heavily dependent , his parents should have right to terminate that child legally.
All fetuses and new born should be genetically examined for occult syndromes.
First step in the right direction will save many lives and will reduce not only our populations of handicapped, which is unfortunately one of the highest in the world , also will decrease the populations of wandering eunuchs.
Also is needed curbs on illegal surgical measures, which are being done by non qualified quacks for sex change , that is crime against humanity, many of the young males(genetically) or females (genetically) does offer huge monies to these under ground quacks and many die after the surgery due to complications of rough procedures and septic techniques, its horrible and pain full death which should be controlled by government.
Those were few preventive measures, this social evil needs curative measures too for that Social acceptance, registrations and equal rights , vocational trainings and respectable jobs are some aspects of therapeutics.
Concerned ministry is authorized to start a pilot project and start today, its never too late for a good deed to do.

this is what I think , what I feel about issues in my country Pakistan, this is my catharsis on day to day events, injustices, Crimes by higher ups which are committed in this country in broad day light & how I feel & react about that.....its my view & how I want to resolve an issue ....60 year old pakistan is raped frequently by her own sons in Arms...

In Past three or four years I have written for many Papers, for electronic media and on my Blogs on Blogspot, but since yesterday I have signed up for wordpress.com blog, I was unable to decide what to write on that , writing is my passion as is painting, Medicine and Music ..second January has already started and its nearly 4.am….just finished watching an Indian movie “PAA”,…….I have habit of crying while some thing emotional comes up, I love my country (silently…not with music band !!)very much…why I was crying was not the emotional high drama in the movie but because I am associated with an other failed system where people like me are called fools because we want to correct it be cause I believe America is great because Americans worked hard to do that,,& china is great because Chinese worked hard to make their country and Now Indians are doing the same with same vision and frenzy…perhaps we are still in fetal phase……!
I wrote Taray zameen par when I saw the movie produced by Aamer khan eminent Indian actor & producer….that was not movie review but with reference to that cute flick I tried to explained about system of Disability management and its flaws in my mother land…today when I saw a brilliant performance in an other bollywood flick called PAA…I was shocked to see Amitabh bhachan in the role of Progera afflicted child of 12 years with body of an 18 year old, (ACTUALLY A COPY OF Benjamin buttons story with Indian masala) but movie reminded me that why we are not able to do what Indians can do…we have full net work of institutes in country from divisional levels to sub-div levels may it be a Federal institute with huge budget or Provincial with meager budget or an NGO institution with huge foreign aid…..do they have any progress rather than twisted and fantasized SUCCESS STORIES !!!!!!
Progera is very rare genetic disorder in which body ages so quickly that child dies in early teens if not in his or her, first decade, while Dyslexia was a subject of Taray Zameen par or (STARS SCATTERED ON EARTH)….it’s a very common condition as opposite to first one…very easily manageable and person can attain a very normal life with a little help while Progera afflicted kids are also Very normal when born but their body decays more quickly than any normal physiological life cycle…it quickens every system of body including brain which may be of more than normal intelligence than other kids of same age, in teens usually systems start exhausting like an old man of eighties do ,they may start Diabetes , coronary syndromes, lung diseases , Asthmas, allergies, bone, Liver and spinal problems and decays as senility brings them to normal humans and die early due to physiological causes…
Countries develop due to people with vision and Ideas, alas we have lost that track, we are producing morons in every walk of life , from Politics to fine arts ,exceptions are always there.
India is supplying 80 percent of world’s soft ware and 80 percent of us use computer for gaming and porno surfing religiously.
They are like us , same race , same genetic codes and same culture but what lakes in us is commitment and vision.
our state owned education system is totally flopped and private system is also decayed exceptions are always there!!!!
But exceptions can not make a country advance,,,, making a cancer hospital in Lahore and university in Mianwali is a commendable job but it can not change our destiny…making a city ‘s roads, drainage system, Airport & A Cricket stadium can not change our destiny !
A good governance in the one and only developed province is also commendable but it will not change the destiny of my country,…..they are good but myopic visions , it will only make difference when Imran Khan will make a university of same standard in Shikarpur or Khuzdar and Mardan and Shabaz Sharif will agree to NFC award on the basis of Poverty, under development and resource generation , leaving a fraction or a few decimal points in the favor of small provinces will not effect money they are minting from federal divisible pool…… !
Maligning Asif , paying money to rabid media will never benefit my mother land rather than that money should be spent to IDPs of Swat, Waziristan and malakand and above all Cheif justice shouldn’t level the scores and be involve at judicial reforms at micro levels of Tehsil and Districts where the most corrupt institutions are Courts. Even in NRO the beneficiaries were terrorist with murder, hijacking and extortion charges and no one is willing to bother them….why not all of us speak the whole truth and make it our New year’s resolution…
Government should also line their policies in people of Pakistan’s favor than in their own favor… democracy is again under threat and hawks are already out on rampage to destroy it…..most responsible is current political party in government to over come their short comings …not to make base less speeches by over a hundred federal ministers while we can do a good example with only 10 to 20 ministers……!
BB does not laid her life to give benefit to political morons just think over it and act wisely…..!

These steps are needed to strengthen society and give oppressed 180millions to have restored their faith in system these few steps can take our country out of self destruction course and change the mentality of those Millions who want to get Pakistan out of managerial mess.
System of Special education started in 1986-87 when a dictator ordered settings of institutions with stroke of his pen because his own daughter was a hearing impaired, since than a long distance has been covered and some disabilities has colleges too but does they really impart education and re habilitation of that level and standard ? ….they can see inside them…how fake and twisted their success stories are…each institute is holding most children for more than 20 years especially in two classes of disabilities Mentally retarded and Hearing impaired TURN OVER IS VERY NEGLIGIBLE…….IN MR Education is kept at back stage because it’s a complex subject and there are over a 100 sub categories in Mental retardation only but in hearing impaired children, most of them have a normal brain with Audio switch shut down or blocked some where in cerebral paths…they are not abnormal they are absolutely normal children with only hearing loss (most of them)..there education system is also totally flop specially in Government’s Special education centres and cetres of Excellences.
We will elaborate the system and its flaws later on some time.
What is needed first is to devise a system of screening at the time of birth for at least 10 most common causes of disabilities which can prevent millions of handicapes to roll out on roads and later on increase populations of beggars or if they get chance to get education and rehabilitation at some federal institute they will end as psycho paths…just a bill is to pass in parliament and sincerely a new born scan in first month of life can prevent million disables.
For serious malformation and genetic disorders we can have fetal scanings and chromosomal studies while in utero…..these two steps only can reduce our disability ratio to minimum.
If there is a will there is always a way to deal the issue this is huge task but we have suitable skill and infra structure we have to stream line our wills and broaden our vision in available resources we can change the whole scenario of disability management but remember we need vision to act wise other wise we will keep raising disables may they be physical, mental or more dangerously psychological and today they are every where in society with bombs and pens…….saim

Baluchistan.

On the edge of volcano!!!

It was a nice autumn morning of Quetta, when Aslam Mirza woke up as usual in his sprawling mansion where he lives now a days with his partner for life khadija & one maid servant, he has been living in this city since he was five and came to than a serene town in late sixties with his father and family, he did his schooling here ,his family is settled all over Pakistan, a sister in karachi and one in Lahore, younger son studying in a university in Islamabad and elder in UK for his MBA.

That morning he completed his usual chores ,took break fast,saw headings in local paper and left his home to settle some issues at his Poultary farms behind Airport,his driver came to pick him up and he left his home at 10 Am, his usual time for business, He and his family has friends all over Pakistan in almost all nook & corners ,Baluchistan was his adopted province so he has friends in hardline baluchis to establishment of Pakistan.

Just half an hour after he left his home a terrible news reached his home, He was gunned down along with his driver ,both died on the spot .

Ongoing crises in Baluchistan has played havoc with the lives of people living in Baluchistan since3 the last four Year, it augmented with the death of Nawab Akbar Bugti, problem goes on & on, the history of Baluchistan issue started the day this nation was born.

Pakistan establishment was never comfortable with Baluchis, Baluch chieftains accepted Quad-E-Azam’s invitation to join Pakistan voluntarily provided there Tribal status is respected & not disturbed, baluchistan was divided in to Pashtunes, Baluchis which included Makrani Baluchis and at that time Part of Baluchistan was ruled by Sultanate of Oman i-e areas of Gawadar & Pasni.

Later on Ayub Khan paid sum to release Gawadar and Pasni from Oman but they still have huge influence in these areas.

First insurgency was in 1948 which was done by than Khan of Qalat Mir Ahmed Yar khan which was brutally controlled by Ayub Khan than COAS.

Baluchistan comprises about 44% of land area of Pakistan with 770 Kms, long coastal line but according to Population census of 1998 it makes only 5%of total population of country(6.5Million) with 2/3^rd living in rural areas.

Ethnic make up of Baluchistan includes 54.7% Baluch , 29% Pashtune tribes and 7% settlers, Baluch Pashtunes imbalance created by 2 million refugees from Afghanistan has almost destroyed the fabric of Baluchistan and now leaders of Pakhtun khwa Mili awami party demands separate Pashtunes Province in Baluchistan that has caused rift among Baluch and Pashtunes because these refugees posses properties and ID cards and naturally has occupied the rights of Natives & a cause of demographic imbalance.

When Mir Ahmed Yar khan declared State of Qalat as independent in 1948 & refused to merge with Pakistan. Army Garrison in Balochistan was ordered to annex the state and arrest the Khan. Prince Karim his brother started first Armed insurgency in 1948, He was also arrested and imprisoned, in 1958, the army arrested Nauroz Khan triggering guerrilla movement.

Baluchis by nature are free people, they have resisted every move which tried to encroach upon their right and land, by 1963, Pakistan army decided to built new Garrisons in Balochistan as they have successfully caged Sindh, but Baluchis strongly resisted their moves, The Guerrillas led by Sher Mohammed khan Marri established Guerrilla camp over 45000 sq Kms. those guerrillas ambushed convoys and bombed trains, The insurgency came to an end in 1969 when Yahya Khan with drew the one unit scheme.

The Jamiat ulema-i-Islam and National Awami Party in 1972 demanded more rights for ethnic Baluchis in Government, because as a result of 1971 election NAP & JUI made governments in Balochistan which were dismissed by Champion of democracy Z.A.Bhutto and imposed Governor’s rule over Balochistan that move again triggered a wide spread resistance & hue & cry in nationalist factions of Balochistan. This was third insurgency by Balochis against Pakistani establishment it led to killing of more than 5000 Balochis and 3300 soldiers.

The 4^th Insurgency continues till to date, it was started when Leader of Jamhoori watan Party Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti along with nationalist Mir Balaach Marri demanded for greater autonomy to province and hold over its resources and also to stop military from making new bases in Balochistan as Balochistan was never a field of battle and is surrounded by friendly countries and provinces, that demand was refused by Pervez Musharaf latest dictator Pakistan’s long Military rulers, he refused to cede to the demands of Baluch people and tried to nip them in the bud, that caused wide spread resistance against dictator’s regime and his nature of killing each with gun, Musharaf ‘s actions are still continued and he is responsible for killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and scores of Baloch are killed and property worth billions of dollars destroyed since 2005 and still continued.

Policies of Musharaf has caused wide spread hatred and deaths among Baluchis, since than an other issue of ethnic killing is at the highest in Balochistan , specially in Quetta against Punjabi setllers and among ethnic Hazaras , on the average 1 person is killed in Quetta daily may it be a Panjabi, a Pathan or a Hazara but a million dollar question is why a Barbar (punjabi) in Jhatpat, a school Teacher who is also a punjabi in Sibi and a lower order functionary from Punjab in Khuzdar or any other area in balochistan is not killed why it is killed in Quetta only?

Another Bad result of Musharaf’s policies which he persuaded is that moderate sane element among balochis were sidelined , he relied on religious bigots to strengthen its hold in province and root away moderates & used iron hands against nationalist and killing of 80+ Nawab Akbar Bugti is one example of Musharaf’s egoist and apolitical Ghunda style of autocracy .

He illegally allotted hundreds of thousands of acres of land in Gawadar to civil and military beaurocrates so benefiting outsiders at the expense of Balochi people, as they did in Sindh .every one who retired from Military has to get Land in Sindh not a single Sindhi or Baloch has got Lands allotted in Punjab or NWFP since 1947 ? that is why the feel of colonialism is never gone from Sindh and Balochistan.

The military has reportedly sought 11000 acres of land in in Gawadar to construct what it calls a Combined Defense Complex; the other projects in Gawadar will displace 70,000 balochis from their ancestral land.

Musharaf had another project in mind he wanted to sell every available land to his cronies inside and outside establishment, he also sold sindh’s Islands which are vital for biodiversity & for the survival of fish, prawns and mangroves population, He also annouced Soanmiani port in May May 2007 at soan maini , 70 Kms from Karachi, The Balochistan assembly unanimously passed a resolution against ports construction but brute continued so that like HUB Soanmiani should also become property of MQM as they had already extended up to Thatta & engulfed hub town in Karachi, now coastal expansion of Karachi towards further Baloch areas was his true wish ,He has time and again proved himself more loyal to linguistic and terrorist organization than their founders!

How much insensitive are our rulers to the sentiments of common men and smaller provinces and their grievances is proven from the facts that Islamabad kept rubbing salts on the wounds of Baloch people , that Balochistan Levies were banned in the Musharaf regime from the most districts of the Balochistan and later on merged in Balochistan Police, that move was widely resisted & created another episode of resentment against the centre because Baloch thought that Levies were familiar with Local customs and traditions and serve the communities well than predominantly Non Baloch Police !!

Military Operations on going since Musharaf regime and past has always caused resentment among locals, this time it added fuel to already worsening situation in baloch youth & commoner. It also caused & triggered interprovincial tension as army is predominantly Punjabi.

In January 2005, military operation was initiated to suppress the armed protests by tribal militias ,consisting mainly of tribes men following the gang rape of a Lady Doctor Shazia Khalid on Jan.7.2005, allegedly by an Army Officer and accomplice!!

In December 2005 The full scale Army operation following the firing of eight rockets at a para- military base outside Kohlu, which is a strong hold of the Marri tribe during Musharaf’s visit to the area on 14^th December 2005, Paramilitary troops started aerial bombardment at Kohlu on 17^th December, 2005, they claimed to fire at strong holds of militants but by the mid June 2007 it was in international and national reports that 400-500 innocent Baloch people were killed in those operations by that time.**

According to Baloch Nationalist Party (Mengal) which is popularly known as BNP-Mengal group on 12,December 2006 that at least 3000-4000 Baloch youth were in custody of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies.

Thousands of Balochis were imprisoned and tortured and killed by eight year long repressive regime of Musharaf and in 2006 than interior minister admitted to have around 4000 Baloch in custody!!!!

Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, the head of JWP was killed in an army operation on august 27,2006 and his sons were not allowed to inherit his property and funeral was allowed in controlled and shrouded way, it flame a wide spread simmering hatred against federation in to a volcano against centre and Punjab.

Saleem baloch was arrested in February 2008 and remained in custody for eight long months ,he is Senior vice President of JWP, in 2006 crises group reperted courtesy HRCP numerous incidences of intimidation, arbitrary arrests, torture, disappearances and Extra judicial killings in Balochistan , incidences were markedly high in Balochistan than any other part country they reported 92 total disapearances in country and Balochistan share was 69 out of that in Jan 2006 and in December 2006 report was 242 total disappearances country wide among them Baloch share was an alarming 170 !!

Baluchistan remained most neglected in the post Partition era while Bengal and sindh also share same view, but it was most marked during Zia & Musharaf’s regimes, no concrete measure were taken during the floods and cyclones during June-July 2007, Death toll 180 in July and it has risen to 420 in September.

Using the National Disaster Management’s data , a local NGO, RDPI has portrayed a very dismal & heart breaking portrait of relief efforts of government, according to RDPI there were only seven relief camps in whole Baluchistan in June and July ,while sindh has 108 camps, though the Baluchistan was more hardly hit !!

During that emergency over 5000 villages in Baluchistan and 1400 in Sindh were badly hit, losses in Baluchistan were amounted to 417million dollars , about 5000 roads were washed away in Baluchistan alone.

Because of its faulty design the newly built and much projected Mirani dam flooded vast areas in Turbat, Naseerabad, Kharan and other southern districts of Baluchistan.

Baluchistan has never been financially independent despite its huge natural resources and reservoirs and 700 kms long productive coastal line, fisheries and ship breaking industry, if only fish industry were developed in past 63 years Baloch were financially independent, it has large reservoirs of Natural Gas, minerals, coal, and oil some tapped, some trapped and some yet to be found , Balochistan produces country’s 40% energy requirement but some years back most of Baluchistan were without gas facility and large areas import energy from neighboring Iran despite the fact that their Gas is pumped to whole country, 80% of province energy needs are met from biomass energy !!

Till recent months Baluchistan was receiving only few rupees (Rs 38/Million BTU) on royalty of its huge Gas supply in comparison to royalty given to Sindh (140) and Punjab(80-190/M. BTU in PKR). Despite another fact that job to Baloch youth are banned as per policy on their gas fields!!

Baluchistan is heavily in debited to centre and its debit has reached to some 417million $s, it drastically reduces the already scarce financial resources for development, on the contrary it receives very meager amount from federal divisible pool which is still being shared on the basis of population alone not on the basis of need and area or on the basis of income generated, so Punjab the most developed and industrialized , educated and most resource full gets 53.36 % from federal divisible pool while Baluchistan gets only 5.11% and Sindh gets 23.71% while it gives centre 72% of income.

Social indicators of Baluchistan are also drastically poor according Ministry Of Finance it has lowest Literacy rate country wide, fewest education institutions and lowest ranking in gender parity index, the average literacy rate in age 10 and above is only 36 %!!

According to multiple cluster survey conducted in 2004,over 3/4^th of females and 2/3^rd of males over age 12 were literate compared to national percentage of 52%, according to survey one quarter of districts in Balochistan have their female literacy rate in single figure! Dera Bugti has only 2% female literacy rate and its lowest in country !!!

Poverty levels are also alarming in 2003 it was 41-47% in Province while national average is 35.71% according to white paper on budget 2009-10.

Health facilities & facilities of clean drinking water and sanitation are a dreamily scarce in a province who is 44% of Pakistan’s land, only 35% of children gets full immunization and its EPI survey report, Infant mortality rates and maternal mortality rate is comparable to least developed areas like Somalia.

According to a youth development survey young people of Baluchistan are twice less likely to get jobs in comparison to their Punjabi counterparts and federal quota of Jobs goes mainly to Punjabis , even seats of Baluchistan are occupied by Punjabis on the domiciles of Baluchistan in centre and in Baluchistan on bogus documentation.

Only 25 % percent of rural population of Baluchistan gets electricity even in this electronic age ! It has meager means of communication too, it has 22ooo. Kms of metallic and shingled roads but province gets very little amount for their maintenance.

The centre is treating Baluchistan it is a culture medium for hatred , Baloch have every right to ask for remedies and immediate actions to redress their grievances from rest of Pakistan, its sane and very vocal new born media, its intelligentsia and its political & democratic government and forces to redress their issue immediately and stop army action in DeraBugti- Kohlu areas and priority development in these and other areas of Baluchistan , Establishment of Pakistan should see the writing on the wall, killing, arresting and torturing innocent and vocal political activists is not the answer to the question.

What was done in East Pakistan should never repeat in Baluchistan, we should learn from past and our mistakes, otherwise we should not blame on other to interfere in our internal affairs.

Long we have proved a sore thumb to little provinces and to our neighbors we have re think and re draft our long standing, dictatorial policies internal and external, now its time to change those policies, maybe we need a new constitution based on social justice and equality to all members of federation otherwise writing on the wall is clear and it is blocked and looks green only to color blind!!

POLITICS UNDER ATTACK & HUMANITY UNDER THREAT IN PAKISTAN
Whole country is mourning the deaths of innocent Pakistani citizens, police men on duty & political workers or Jiyalas of PPP !
It was mid night between 18 & 19 October when two blasts rocked and ended whole day’s jubilations and celebrations of PPP workers and supporters of Zulifiqar Ali Bhutto’s daughter & HIS cause. Country men has forgotten the corruption charges and inefficient governments of His daughter and second time in 21 years of this troubled and poorest country’s men women and children had welcomed her by creating new records of political rallies in Pakistan. Ms Bhutto was visibly happy, jubilant and moved on her welcome procession so she forgot threats to her life , which were being extensively propagated by Political allies of President Mushraf, since the time when she announced date to come back.
Pakistanis from all walks of life started pouring in to Karachi from every nook and corner of Pakistan on the morning of 18th October, Karachi witnessed its largest crowds ever , stretching and overstretching the main Sharah-e-Faisal avenue and its tributaries, She reached Karachi after nearly 08 year’s self exile, at about 2PM local time and procession started nearly 40 minutes after her arrival , whole city was on holiday and millions out poured on Sharah-e – Faisal to greet their leader, whole day there were dancing, singing and expression of happiness on people in Benazir’s procession and on her Leader’s faces.
Pakistan has under gone rapid change in last five years, Media was not so powerful when she left, now there are nearly 50 channels in local languages and English, The rapid reporting and live coverage has changed altogether socio-Political environment in Pakistan in past few years, Today the most important monitoring and accountability Factor in Pakistan is not opposition or Government’s departments or Public accounts committees but its Print and more than that Electronic Media. Government is not annoyed with Politicians but only with Media because 80% people are addicted to Tube and choice of channels available is wide, Media has started educating people of Pakistan on every countable issue, live debates, analysis and minute to minute coverage of events has created difference of opinion and people’s interest in Government’s and Opposition’s functions.
It started from 9 March 2007 and events after that give strong evidence that how deeply has Media penetrated in to Pakistani Psyche !! Media gives them choice to select from right and wrong by educating them, Media is not party but it’s a tool of information. Things are quite different Now and this process can not be reversed by any one !!!
Karachi carnage took away lives of 140 innocent Pakistanis…question is not that WHO did it??
Was it a Suicide Attack or Not? Lot has been written and speculated in print & electronic media in Past week after the killings.. Investigations are going on,Its for expert in field to decide,investigate and trace the culprits.
There is one thing clear that we are being sucked in to a whirlpool of terror & Terrorism and the road is leading us to an ultimate doom!!!
Who ever did it, was not enemy of Benazir or PPP but he is enemy of whole nation……these blasts were carefully crafted and meticulously executed , what I feel is that BB was not their only target ! Target was Pakistan, certainly a group of people is trying to hold this nation a hostage to terrorism, they want us to get frighten so that No body comes out of their homes, No Political procession or gatherings should be held any where in Pakistan, none of the leaders can dare to come out and go to their voters for facing the electors, their campaign, if any should be limited to indoor drawing room politics and nation should be derailed from process of attaining full democracy.
If we get their message & get terrorized, than they will come out openly Do what ever they want and kill every one who opposes them, they will destroy our National fabric beyond recognition in a few months time, they will close all girls schools,colleges and universities and do what they are doing in swat or in parts of fata.
I am happy what I have felt after the blasts, that not only Political leaders but common men, women and even children are not frightened but they are mourning with a visible anguish on their faces, whole nation including all sensible political players are mourning , the most sensible statement came from BB it self, when she talked about national reconciliation among all political parties, civil and military beaurocrasy , civic organizations and common men to rise above personal and political bias , she called to end personal animosity on the basis of political or ideological differences.
Whole world has condemned the attacks, including calls from presidents and prime minister’s of many countries, nearly whole Pakistani political leaders called BB and her lieutenants for condolences and UN security counsel passed a resolution and directed member countries to help Pakistan in investigations of the Karachi carnage but unfortunately there are people in our politics who are taking advantage of the situation out of their personal bias against BB & PPP, I feel pity on their character , what ever may be our political differences Karachi tragedy is a national tragedy and most heinous of the crimes committed against humanity , every body killed & wounded was a Pakistani citizen their loss is our loss, its not loss of a party or an individual its loss of whole Pakistan,I can not imagine what would have been the result if attackers should have succeeded in their ugly plan, it was not BB who was going to die alone, whole leader ship of Pakistan Peoples Party was on that vehicle and should have died and god forbid I can not imagine what shape Pakistan would have taken after that. Sindh and most of Pakistanis believe Zulifkar Ali Bhutto as their leader, even two decades after his death and people have never forgot him and at the same time never forgiven his killers, its only ZAB who has kept his daughter alive in our politics, even after two time failures in government and a long line of corruption charges on her self and her spouse.
These are defining movements in our history , when we are slowly inching towards real democracy , cases in supreme court may take any shape but one thing is sure if we stand united and keep pressing towards democratic path we are going to achieve it sooner than later and only democracy is a procedure which will give us a respectable place in community of nations and only by the means of real democracy and freedom to live in what ever manner one wants to , will certainly put us on the path on progress. CAPITAL IN SEIGE BY RULERS.

Living in Islamabad was infact a pleasure and previlage in Pakistan, I love my choice, although people like me can not own a House in Islamabad for next two three centuries , even than it has been a pleasure for me , since 1988 to date, tried to leave this city two or three times but could not remain away for a long time and have to return to my city of joy.
I love its peace and tranquil environ, life seems at ease in Islamabad The Beautiful. People like me will accept my point of view that since last year or less than that ,since March 2007 this city has lost its peace full face, now every other day suicide bombing is in fashion, it has been risky to go to public places, weekly bazaars and Parks, more than militants an extremely unpopular Government is trying to prolong its not so nice rule in this country and in their foolish desperation they have make them selves a Joke!
Their joke of security situations has made our lives miserable on streets of twin cities.
Only today on 27th September, when our enlightened QABZA group President is going to Election Commission for filing of nomination papers whole city of Islamabad is in grip of fear, I saw hundreds of school children , office employees of government and civil bodies walking by foot in FASTING crossing to & from Islamabad & Pindi!!! Who was going to snatch his nomination papers these innocent school children or helpless and fasting employees and citizens of both cities.
In past 20 years of my Islamabad citizenship , I have not seen government servants hating their own establishment so much that , most of the citizens are always talking politics.
Since 9th March, 12thMay and 10th September a lot of water has gone out of our government’s most of thin legitimacy claims , President claims to be honest and man of Principles but he himself has broken all his towering claims about every thing he talked and defied in last 8 years , He and his bunch of faceless cronies have done every thing shameless in the book of ethics and latest was today !!
Before today on 10th September , he broke all records of decency and finesse of human dignity by deporting and humiliating Mr. Nawaz Sharif , he was not only degraded but tortured too b Elite forces on Airport and every order was coming from President house itself , like same orders on 12th May carnage in Karachi.
For People of Pindi, Islamabad and adjoining areas it has been norm of the day that Police places Tankers, truks and sand on the roads leading to Islamabad so that no one could reach Islamabad and President could claim proudly that People are not supporting opposition !!!
There is a proverb about dictators that when they loose popular support they create an aura of it in his surroundings, same is case with this commando , he has locked all norms of decency in his closet, life of common men was never so miserable what seems today, corruption is rampant at every stage of good governance and most of the people can not live decently from what ever their means of earnings are.. Pakistan is in state of chaos except from members of Q-league, high officials and hundreds of cabinet members and 1% elite of country, there is civil war in Fata and writ of government is lost in FATA and adjoining areas of FATA, upto SWAT , we have witnessed carnage of LAL MOSQUE and suicide bombing at will in side sensitive and combed areas of highest security zones does the failure of government has any other means to prove !!!
It seems Musharaf will leave hard way and when finally he will go he will leave permanent scars on our nation’s mind and body for sure.!!
What makes me sad is my city will loose its beauty for ever….

MONKEYS IN BANANA REPUBLIC!!

It seems a bunch of monkeys ARE ruling Pakistan (infect has been ruling most of its time!) it is monkeys mood swings which are never predictable, he can be laughing at one moment and running with a dagger to kill some one the very next time.
There is no doubt in it that we are a BANANA republic , when I was a child I use to think that Banana republics are those which produce a lot of Bananas like south American states and Far eastern states, we also produce world’s best Bananas in Sindh….! But with growing of conscious I know that not due to Sindh’s tasty Bananas but due to our Armed commandos we are a Genuine Banana republic, as we are always in sea of problems and prone to or occupied by Monkeys ! and those unpredictable Monkeys can do any thing they are able to kill 80 year old politician on personal hatred , they can serve exile terms and enforce it contempting any court of LAW.
They have no respect for any rule and bear no principles,.
They claim morality lessons for others and have no moral obligations attached. I will add to definitions of banana republics that it is always ruled by Monkeys!!
Three days back what happened on Islamabad Airport was confirmation of the fact that we are all cowards and till we do not acquire human habits we should call our selves Monkeys….!
Nawaz sharif is not a Good man him self but he does not deserve the treatment he was given by government on his arrival, that only confirms the fact that we are not only coward but our whole system is in the hands of monkeys.
President is having personal hatred against Nawaz and he was afraid that if he will come people will storm Islamabad & same mis calculation about his popularity was in the mind of ex-PM but what he did not realized, was the fact that he was leader of a coward nation so he was shocked at the reaction of government and his party and People!!!
Same happened to ZA. BHUTTO in same city of Monkeys and cowards, he had euphoria that people will run havoc to ZIA if he dared to touch him, but in the end he was hanged in a false case & doubtful judgment given by Apex courts of Pakistan !!!!
He was more dashing and aristocratic than Mr. Nawaz , his daughter has learned the formulae to live with monkeys by being openly coward, she does say that “Power rests with People” but doesn’t believe in her lines , she is all set to sit with dictators and bypass people’s verdicts!!!!
Mr. Sharif committed a blunder by requesting and having signed a deal of exile for 10 years if he was allowed to leave country with whole family. Now his deal is a living curse on him, he showed no character as a national leader when he went away from his workers , he kept denying the facts for seven years from his supporters , now suddenly he tried to clarify his position just before leaving from London to Islamabad !!!
Newton said in third Law of gravity that each “action has equal and opposite reaction” so what he sowed he has to face it on his arrival , cunning ness is met with equal and opposite show of coward ness from his supporters by opting to remain home and Government which immediately sensed that no one is going to react except few , packed him back to Jeddah Palace, where he will remain for next three years to complete his term in a golden cage…!
He was seen crying but he should remember that he did it for him self and we are coward nation ruled Monkeys, We did what monkeys do. That is why it is called Monkey business…

We have lost the thin line between Ethical and non Ethical, at every step and corner of our lives. Every one among us wants to earn billions and that too in shortest possible time and way. We kill for money, even officially we killed many people just to get 5000USD for one killed or captured Al-Qaida or Taliban activist, many a innocent people has been killed or given to US forces of terror just to please our masters , Our Army is called Bounty Hunters in international circles, Pakistan is largest contributor of forces for UN Peace mission , sole motive is money for sending forces every where in world. Our Politicians have no Ideological farces they can change loyalties more faster than our President changes his stand!
Our Politicians once in Power, there only motive is to show their powers and earn as much dollars as he or she can, they are masters of white collar crimes & untouchables. General public does what their superiors do, every one at his stature is more corrupt than his predecessor!!
Medical Profession is one of the most noble of all professions, our doctors has turned it into most ugliest of all trades (Personally I do not think it as profession, it is a service, Art and religion for me & few others with same inborn error, for us it is motorway to NIRVANA.) every other Dr is mal practicing one way or other , getting commissions from laboratories and adjacent Medical stores, Prescribing un due medicines and spreading Hepatitis, just to earn more money and rise their Financialstatus.
Now since last decade or two, we have earned our reputation as ORGAN TRADERS, and with grace of god and our inclination to every thing bad, we are among top few illegal trade centers of the world!
Pakistan is among five top illegal Kidney suppliers, Doctors in this business are billionaires, they are untouchables and fairly practicing angles like Dr. Adeeb ul Hassan Rizvi has no say when they want to formulate a bill on Organ trade, because Government wants to legalize the trade not banning it on strict terms. They want to BAN on selling on the face but there will be no restriction on DONATIONS!!
A debit ridden peasant will donate kidney to huge Arab Sheikh from oil rich Gulf state or from America a GORA sahib will come to Pakistan after deal is matured on internet or through middle man which is mostly a Doctor working as agent in Middle east or in States or European country, the deal pays them handsomely while donor is paid just 20 to 50 thousand Pakistani notes.
A village near Lahore called Sultan Pura has almost its all adults males sold their one kidney! There are cases of organ theft in private hospitals, patients admitted with one problem or accidents with some internal bleeding or even appendicitis are later come to know that some one has taken out their kidneys while operating for one thing or other.
There are cases of one going to some big city for some job and is lured by a woman , person takes her to hotel or goes to her place where he is drugged in drinks and when wakes up he found his kidney removed.
We are at our lowest ebb of ethics as doctors and as a society, Organ transplant bill is postponed again for reasons better known to government since last Ten years!
Dr Adib Ul Hassan Rizvi the known transplant surgeon of SIUT is vocal against governmental bill to curb organ transplantation which he says will open a legal avenues for illegal transplantation, which is a nearly 1 Billion rupees industry now a days. At least we are doing weekly 50 transplants in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi and on average yearly 2000 transplants are being done in our country!! Out of which about 500 are legal and kidneys mostly donated by blood relatives!! Remaining 1500- 2000 are done illegal and donor is paid 20 to 50 thousand and most of the donors remain at loss and could not achieve what they dream after selling their Kidneys!! To pay debit or get free from bonded labor at farms or brick kilns wide spread in Punjab, this menace is yet not spread in sindh and Baluchistan where poverty is more severe than Punjab.
Pakistan seems to get popularity and progress in all things unethical and BAD, there is a powerful lobby which is resisting bill against organ trade even if it is tabled in assemblies it will be deformed enough to accommodate illegal trade and legalize it !!!
There is huge rackets involved in this trade and has direct involvement of retired Army generals mostly doctors. One of them is doing weekly 5 to 10 transplant right near the house of COAS in Rawalpindi and has agents all over the world and on internet, these agents are paid handsomely than Donors!! The Dr is untouchable because he is from forces and no one can question his ethics.
I have only mentioned about Kidney Transplantation but China ,Indonesia are already in business of Liver Transplant too , may be we will soon get involved in this type of Transplantation too, why these people come to Pakistan from at least 20 countries of World from Mid-east to north America? Answer is simple we have our agents there and cost of transplant is very high 40 to 50 thousand $ in these countries or donations from Blood relatives , which is only way to do it ethically from living relatives, or wait for cadaver donors, for that type of donations there is huge list of waiting people on dialysis, Going to Pakistan , India, China, Indonesia is very easy and cheap solution, they pay 10 to 20 thousand $ for whole business and go home healthy, they have no concern how they got it because they pay for it, like paying for a designer suit !!
Just today one jobless person’s story is surfaced in a paper who was robbed off his kidney for 1Million Rupees, in a Rawalpindi Cantt hospital by a Private surgeon, hospital belongs to a Rtd. General donor was paid 1Lac after operation and relieved from hospital in three days! Than no further money was given and an ASI of Police robbed him of his payment and poor man is with out a penny he lost his kidney in free, there are hundred of such stories if investigated when donors are given nothing or peanuts after his kidney is taken out.
Supreme Court and civil society should react strongly to curb this practice and cancel the Licenses of such Doctors who practice illegal kidney Transplantation!!
Transplant tourists must be discourage by society and these Doctors must be declared social out casts, we are earning bad names due to very few people, who think money is answer to all ills , they have already earned billions in this illegal trade and many more are joining this illegal and un ethical and un Islamic trade..if the things remain same soon we will be celebrating an other ”VISIT – PAKISTAN Year “ for transplant tourism and Government will organize Organ Bazaars like Sunday Bazaars to sell Kidneys, Liver, Lungs, Skin, Cornea and may be small infants as eating delicacy!!!!!!
Our Export Promotion Bureau will be organizing “Human Organ Trade Fairs” at potential buyers countries and run promotion campaigns on the grounds that our Kidneys and livers are best in world!! IF PPP’S CHAIR PERSON Mrs. BeNazir Bhutto’s Petition is accepted to be heard by new born supreme judiciary of Pakistan than it is certain that a verdict in favor of political parties to establish and work in side FATA jurisdictions will be given because already political – religious parties are working inside FATA , they6 had their presence since long in Madersahs & masjids of the area . JUI (F) & Jamait Islami of Qazi Hussain Ahmed have their elected members from that areas, which give these parties un due edge over other parties in political arena of Pakistan.
FATA areas have come long way from 18076 AD & 1901 when these areas and NWFP was created by than viceroy of INDIA lord Curzon , by separating than Punjab province ‘s areas adjacent to Afghanistan and baluchistan.

7. Noth waziristan Agency.
There are five Frontier regions adjacent to Tribal areas called FRs, they are Peshawar FR, Kohat Fr, FR Bannu, FR dera Ismail Khan & FR Tank. They are governed by Governer of NWFP who is nominee of Ferderal government of Pakistan.
The area remains important link between central and south Asia , any one coming to India has passed the Khyber Pass and has to deal with tribes of Khyber may it be Aryans, Huns, Greeks , Arghons, Takhans, Mughals, Abdals, Durranis, Sikhs or English !!
We will review the recent past of the Area , when English started First great game in south and central Asia due to Economic and geo political reasons, in early 19th century almost whole India was under their belt except Sindh, Baluchistan, Now NWFP belt, north west belt and Punjab was under Sikh ruler Ranjeet singh, Sindh and Baluchistan were under Kabul nominally Sindh was a free country under Meer Talpurs of Sindh and baluchistan under their Sardars.
Sindh was annexed in 1843 and Punjab in 1849 finally when they faced humiliation in First Anglo- Afghan Wars, just to ensure their constant access to Kabul and safe passages to their troops to Afghanistan and through them to Central Asia what they got was more than that as areas were rich in agricultural potential.
The wily Britain, became aware of the Tribal temperament of our now tribal belt and realizing their fierce love for independence , did very little to curb them, they just keep them under few obligations and mostly allowed them to rule them selves than a representative administration from centre, just to keep terrain leading to Kabul open., British wanted to keep that terrain open and to use tribal people as buffer against any Afghan invasion from that side.
Tribal area emerged as specially governed area with in North West Frontier Region, which was carved out of undivided colonial province of Punjab on November 9, 1901, by Lord. Curzon, the than Governor General of INDIA for administrative convenience, British decision to carve out a separate province of NWFP was based on realizations that it was difficult to exercise more rigid control administratively over that area than to other areas in INDIA. British officials guided Lord Curzon that due to distance from capital city of Punjab Lahore it is difficult to control these areas effectively . British believed that new province with its Capital in Peshawar could effectively subdue the rebellious Pashtunes through carrot & stick policy of “Gora Sahibans”.
In fact truth is that Governor General Lord Lytton (1876-80) has a dream to “March on Tashkent” and so a plan to institute a new province in frontier belt of India’s North western frontier regions of Peshawar and Baluchistan, answerable directly to central Government of India. Lord Lytton could not materialize his plans but Lord Curzon acted upon already researched and recommended plan to make a new province, Lord Curzon (1899-1905) for that purpose visited Peshawar in the spring of 1901. He held a series of meetings with local elders and leaders that culminated to make this province called NWFP, it was also decided that new province will have two categories of territories , which were to be administered separately : the settled Areas comprising the districts of Hazara , Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan and the Tribal areas comprising the districts of Political agencies of Khyber( established in 1879), the Kurram (1892) and the Malakand Division (1895) which comprises the areas of Dir, Swat and Chitral, at the same time agencies of North and South Waziristan were also created.
So NWFP comprised Settled areas and Non Settled or Tribal areas with two different sets of administrations. This term was also from British legacy , they called areas Settled because of their administration ease and non settled due to their administrative difficulties, settled Areas accepted writ of government and agreed to pay taxes while non settled areas kept their honor (NANG) and refuse to pay any Taxes to government and preferred to keep their independence. The former was called (QALANG) as Syed Akbar S. Ahmed a renowned Anthropologist of INDIA says.
When British took Punjab in 1849 they have to make to devise a new set of governance in Northwestern frontier which had a predominant tribal population. The territory was initially put under direct control of Board of Administration at Lahore and raised to a Division status, under a Commissioner, in 1850. the areas specified in this arrangement were districts of Peshawar, Kohat and Hazara, each had a Deputy commissioner. Bannu and Dera Ismail khan were not in that arrangement, they were part of Leyahh Division of Punjab at that time.
Even with deputy commissioners at these districts British found it hard to contain warring pashtune tribes’ men. When NWFP as province was established in 1901, British made a two tier system of administration for the province one dealing with settled areas which were under Chief Commissioner and other for tribal areas under the Governor General through the same authority, Peshawar was natural choice for both area’s head quarter , placed directly under supervision of Foreign department of government of India. Malakand agency since placed under NWFP, remained a provincial subject while those located with the border of Afghanistan (Durand Line- 1893) become part of Indian foreign affairs and treated a central government ‘s issue.
NWFP administration was different than in rest of India, British took care not to disturb the existing tribal systems in both areas of frontier and infact did every thing to to ensure perpetuation of the highly iniquitous feudal system obtaining in the areas, for instance khans in settled areas and Maliks in tribal areas become power colonial instruments of state administration. As in the British principalities, the landed gentry in settled areas became power full instrument of revenue collection, maintenance of Law & order and spreading European traditions in few cities of new province. Urban administration was garrisoned by the Army, stationed in cantonments of few urban Centers, Apart from this a small but brutal police force was established and placed in small & scattered police stations mostly in urban areas, People in rural areas were controlled through the Jirga system under the local administration. The Khans were patronized through by the British government and Titles of Khan Bahadur, Nawab, Knight Hood and even cadre services were awarded to to them and their sons and scions to ensure their loyalties to colonial authorities.The Khans maintained liaisons with local authorities and even collected information on their behalf on important matters for government.
The Maliks were installed as the counter part of Khans in Tribal areas , they extended same services to Political agents who in turn extended government’s honors, courtesies, and favors to men and tribes of their choices. Political agent was government’s representative in areas with vast and kingly powers at his disposal, he was all power full to maintain law and order in his agency or area. Comparison to officers any where else in India.
Maliks, Tribes and individuals were even helped monetarily to keep them sincere with RAJ. they were responsible for maintaining security infra structure in their areas & helped to maintain peace in their areas.
The British administration in NWFP operated in three forms, First The Civil administration dealing with day to day administration and policy matters, maintenance of peace and general administration, took priority over other services, this was looked after initially by Chief Commissioner and later by Governor, assisted by a ladder of Civil and Military beaurocrasy.
The second in order was the Criminal affairs, initially controlled by judicial commissioner, and later on by High court and Civil courts at lower side. The Third in order was Fiscal Side which was dealt by the revenue commissioner whose collection during colonial raj was limited to income from agricultural products, excise and few other duties that also in settled areas of NWFP.
The Judicial administration devised a special rule for governing NWFP – The Frontier Crimes Regulations in 1872. The FCR was periodically revised as and when the need arose. First in 1887,than in 1901 to cope with changing requirement. It limited the powers of Judiciary and empowered Deputy Commissioner and Political agents, they also had powers to institute a Jirga, comprising a few elders nominated and presided over by DC or PA them selves to adjudicate any civil or criminal nature cases, its jurisdiction extended to Pathans and Baluchis of Settled and Tribal areas in NWFP & Baluchistan.
The nature of cases referred to Jirga mostly were of imperial concern to justify coercive exercise against a tribe or an individual who posed or was likely to pose administrative problems for state, it also served as penal code in many tribal feuds, murders, violation of tribal customs, debts, claims, matrimonial or land disputes, etc in this difficult area.
The British tried to hold effective control at that area which was corridor to Central Asia which was centre of the game for English minds, they tried to enforce control over tribal belt on the south east side of the DURAND–LINE, Thus the British created a new Military force comprising roughly one third of local tribes men with different names like Levy, Khasadars, Scouts, Militias, Rifles etc etc, Militia was Frontier constabulary later on. These forces were stationed in garrisons in and around each agency Headquarters, like garrisons were established at Shagai for Khyber agency, at Miramshah for North Waziristan, Wana for South waziristan, Malakand, Khar for Bajaur Agency, Parachinar for Kurram agency and Shabqadar for Mohmand Agency.
Mostly British Army officers from Indian Army led these forces, except the Frontier constabulary which was established later than these forces but received officers from Police as a policy, The two third men for these levies were imported from Indian regiments. Wana & Razmak were later on became regular cantonments of Indian army.
People of North west frontier regions of British India never welcomed these changes and even creation of new province of NWFP and various dissectory measures by British to make newer regions, agencies , Divisions and districts were largely un welcomed.
Hindues were an elite class in those regions, they had education, business and liaisons with authorities, they were urban elite of Frontiers they did not liked separation from Punjab , they wanted merger with it instead. Many in Hazara and Dera Ismail Khan were also against the decision. The Muslim leader ship in Frontiers were traditionally averse and against any decisions taken by British. Even today many bemoan against the British who Draw many lines on Pashtun Lands and divided them in to NWFP, Baluchistan, Tribal Agencies and above all “Durand-Line” , even today when I was writing these lines President Hamid Karazai of Afghanistan was talking against Durand Line(1893 -2007) , which is now international border between Pakistan and Afghanistan , he was telling his views to international news men that Pashtunes have never accepted this line as Dividing line among Pashtunes of both sides, they are against such boundaries!!
One the one hand he speaks against such lines and on other hand he cries on insurgency from other side of the line.
