Cards made for Pink Stampers

I created these cards for the Pink Stampers. We get together just about every week and make cards. Each of us makes one or two cards and supplies enough for everyone else. We come away with six cards plus our two. We have a great time and it is so much fun to be with your friends.

Vicki is doing a card class this coming week at Scrapbooks By the Sea in Pawleys Island. Scrapbooks By the Sea is under new ownership. Congratulations, Rayann Culp. I hope you all had a very wonderful Christmas. I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! I plan to try and post to my blog on a more regular basis this year. I have joined a couple of challenges for 2009 and plan to post my challenges here as well as on Splitcost. I have made some bookmark calendars for the new year to give to my Women of Faith Group at Christ Community Church.

Certified Xyron Instructor

I have been certified to teach Xyron classes at AC Moore. The picture above is the project that I will be teaching on June 12th, from 2 PM to 4 PM. The cost of the class is $15.00 + cost of supplies. You can register for the class and get a supply list at the Myrtle Beach AC Moore. Hope those of you in the area will sign up for my class.

Mother's Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Mother's Birthday. She didn't want us to tell anyone her age. Her friends don't know how old she is but all the family does. We had a great time on the beach at Oak Island, NC. Mother's sister, Lucille helped us celebrate. Also with us was my daughter, Dawn, her husband, Jay, and her two sons Trey and Gavin. Robert helped to get every thing together. There was even fire works on the beach. We told Mother that they were just for her. Thanks for stopping by.

Shop Til You Drop

Ladies, I learned a new card technique today from Terri. I took her technique and did this card. This is a 4 1/4 X 4 1/4 card.
Brown is 4 X 4 and the white is 3 3/4 X 3 3/4 as well as the patterned paper. The circles are 1 1/4 ". The stamps are stamped in brown and colored with markers. The circles are inked with sponge dauber. Flower and matching brad was added to the patterned paper as well as the ribbon.

This cute little fish is by Artful Legacy. We had fun this week with this new stamp. Denise had an awesome make & take Friday using this same stamp. She used a different technique.

This card was made Saturday. I don't know yet which of my friends will receive this. The stamps are from Artful Legacy. The carrots in the middle are colored with stickles and pop dotted. The saying is also pop dotted. Card base is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and folded in half. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.

I'M Back!!!

I know it has been some time since you have heard from me. A lot has happened since my last post in November. The week before Christmas my mother was hospitalized. After sitting in those hard chairs in the ER, they did not have a room for my mother, so she spent the first night in the ER. Well from sitting in those chairs and driving there, I developed Sciatica. Well long story short I was in the bed for over three weeks. My mother recouped faster than I did. My wonderful husband had to do everything, run the business, house and look after me by himself. So you know I did not get any creating of cards done. The office work is behind and it is time to start on taxes. Oh, me. I did receive some get well cards and I will be sharing those with you.

It has been several months ago that SC had a challenge with Gamsol Magic. I had never tried this before so I copied the tutorial and got the necessary supplies. This is the card that I created with this technique. With a little more practice this can be a very interesting technique. Thanks for stopping by today.

Nature is the Art of God

This card is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. The tag is stippled, stamped and tree punched. Double sided adhesive was put behind the tree and gold leafing added. It was then layered on a green piece of card stock and trimmed in shape of tag. Fibers were then added to tag. Card was stamped with leaves in Versamark. I taught this technique at Make and Take at Artful Legacy in Surfside Beach. At this time of year it is a great embellishment for fall cards. Thanks for stopping by today.

Vickie Meadows held another great card class at Artful Legacy. These are a few of her cards that we made. Reminding us of the time of year it is and all the sights and sounds that go along with fall. It is a time to give thanks for all the blessing we have been given. It is a time for family and friends. I can not forget the turkey. My birthday just happens to be on Thanksgiving Day this year. Oh, the years to go by fast.

This is a very interesting technique. This was made in Vicki Meadows card class at Artful Legacy this month. Alcohol inks are dabbed on glossy white paper 4 X 5 1/4 inches. After the inks dry Cuddlebug the Birthday folder on paper. Apply brown Stazon on paper by running pad over piece. Brown adheres to the raised areas. Adhere this to black card front and brown card. Birthday stamp is stamped on white 1 1/8 in. circle and attached to 1 1/4 in. brown circle and then to 1 1/2 in. black circle.

Ship on Vellum

I think this ship is great for a male card. It is stamped on vellum in black Brilliance. The dots and birds are stamped on the white underneath. It is then layered with black and gray on a black card 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. This was cased from a card by Vicki Meadows. This is an Artful Legacy stamp. Thanks for stopping by.

Bird Card

I thought this little bird was adorable. Card is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. Basic Gray DP, ribbon, brads, SU word punch, square scalloped punches used in this layout. It can be used for most any occasion.
