It’s not too often that we see female celebrities creating male colognes, but Kylie Minogue is about to play a little role reversal with the launch of her latest fragrance, Inverse for Men ($42). The cologne, inspired by the “complex, colorful” men in Kylie’s life, launches in September in Australia, the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany.

The amber-oriental scent will feature top notes of frozen lavender, blood mandarin, and warm spices; middle notes of benzoin, heliotrope, nutmeg, and tonka beans; and base notes of labdanum resin, skin musk, patchouli leaves, condensed milk, and atlas cedarwood. I must admit: while the scent skews a bit masculine, I wouldn’t mind dabbing a bit of this hearty scent on my skin.

In fact, Sarah Jessica Parker once told The New York Times that her special blend of fragrances includes Bonne Bell Skin Musk ($14), an Egyptian oil, and “a fairly costly male scent.” That scent? It’s Comme des Garçons Incense Avignon ($78), an intense, heavy blend. What about you? Are you a fan of wearing men’s cologne, or do you tend to stay away from male-inspired scents?

Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner, Serious Colour Care. Its deep penetrating formula replaces the vital moisture needed to keep you colour fresh and vibrant. You can actually feel it working. Leaves hair healthty and manageable with a dazzling shine.

Talk about a little dab will do ya. WOW. That’s all you need, about the size of a dime of shampoo in your hand and you get lather like you won’t believe. Just a little more of the conditioner since it’s thicker. This means it’ll last a long time and since I’ve never spent such a high price for shampoo and conditioner that’s a very good thing.

I have very thick very dry hair and after 2 days my hair has never felt softer. I’ve not felt the tingling that others talked about and was looking forward to it, but hey it smells great and works great. I guess I’ll throw out all those partial open bottles of hair products that I’ve tried. Yeah, extra cabinet space. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

We larger women are already uncomfortable enough. I wish Spanx would make this bra in true plus sizes. I know we probably need more support, but I’d love something comfortable just to wear around the house. What appealed to me about this bra was that it has no hooks in the back, because those always itch. Oh, well. If I ever lose weight, I’ll try the bra again.

I am a plus-sized mom-to-be so I was concerned about how this would work for me. I have been really pleased with this purchase. I am able to continue wearing my jean capris the rest of this summer, comfortably, which is such a relief. I even fit into clothes a size or two down now (a major plus for women whose size fluctuates producing wardrobes of varying sizes).

I didn’t see any plus-sized women review this item so I wanted to be sure I did for those who come after me. Over a couple hours or lots of movement you may have to readjust — sometimes your pants (not the band) start creeping down a bit. But I have never had the band “fail” me or show my unbuttoned pants (yikes!).

It’s easy to wear, easy to adjust and most important: it’s comfortable!! Plus-size moms take heart — this item WILL work for you too!

I’m a new believer. I started selling Avon for the tax benefits of being self-employed but to sell it, I had to try it and after trying it, I’m converted. I never found a lipstick before that impressed me more than any other, but this Beyond Color did. I don’t know how long long-lasting are supposed to stay on but this color stays on me for at least 4 hours.. probably more like 6. It feels nice when it first goes on and doesn’t dry my lips out.

I knew you could buy Avon online from our individual representative websites (that we pay for) but had no idea you could get Avon from Amazon! Prices are basically the same except as a rep, I can back up a catalog or two and sometimes get you a better price as well as samples of products before you buy them.

Interesting that Avon has an Amazon store…. they didn’t tell me that when I signed up!

Where she really explored new territory was her hair.

She took it all to one side with big, sweeping curls. I’m personally loving it, but I wish she had touched up the color at the roots. Other than that, pretty flawless. Do you agree?

Today, WWD reports that the 27-year-old Sienna has just been tapped to be the face for a new fragrance from Hugo Boss.

Boss Orange, as it’s so been named, will launch in May, and it will be the fourth Boss scent from the Proctor and Gamble line. No word on the aroma, but my instincts are pointing to all directions citrus on this one. Of the forthcoming TV and print campaign, Miller said that the atmosphere was “relaxed and lighthearted…with lots of running around and laughing.”

Well, here are some tips to help ensure that your eyes don’t take the backseat when it comes to wearing glasses:

    * Less is probably more. You might be tempted to apply more makeup to compensate for the fact that your eyes are “covered” by frames. Keep in mind that glasses can emphasize everything from too much makeup to the tiniest of smudges. Just be sure to blend and go light-handed on the application. It’s all about balance.

    * Keep your frames in mind. If you have bold, thick, or dark frames, go with less makeup and more neutral tones like creams, sands, and peaches. If your frames are light or rimless, you can go with a little more makeup and choose bolder/darker shadows like gray or bronze.

    * Keep your lenses in mind. If your lenses make your eyes look smaller, you might opt for brighter, lighter shades. Dark liner on the upper lash line will also help provide further emphasis. If your lenses make your eyes look larger, a darker shade on the lids can help tone them down.

    * Avoid frosty shadow. Glittery and/or frosty shadows will compete with the reflective nature of your lenses. Plus they can flake, so it’s best to steer clear from them.

    * Keep your brows in shape. It only makes sense. Since your glasses sit right up against your brows, make sure they’re well-shaped. If necessary, emphasize the color with a brow pencil so they don’t get lost behind your frames.

    * Don’t flake. Consider using a creamy shadow if your powder shadow tends to flake. If wearing powders, be sure to tap into your skin so that they stay where they belong — on your lids and/or brow bone.

    * Lip service. If you’re wearing a strong frame, consider wearing a stronger lip color for balance.

    * Curl, girl. If your lashes are clashing with your glasses, try curling them so that they’re up and away from your lenses. Also, avoid length-increasing mascaras. Volumizing or thickening formulas will most likely work best.

    * Dark circles. If you have darkness under your eyes, glasses can sometimes make the problem stand out more. Wear concealer to help give the illusion of brightness under the eyes. So now, if anyone ever calls you “four eyes,” you can just smile and say, “thanks.”

I have tried a ton of candles out there- and these are the BEST by far. They are well worth the $25 price tag. The scent throw is amazing and the fragrances are really unique. One candle can fragrance your entire home. I always get a ton of compliments whenever these are lit. They are heavily scented (in a good way) and burn for about 45-50 hours. I also appreciate the simple glass jar. The box makes a great presentation as well. If you can’t tell, I think Votivo has it going on…

My favorites:
Red Currant: Lush, fruity berry with a tangy kick
Soku Lime: Pucker up baby, this one is fresh and zesty
Vanilla Grapefruit: Sweet and savory blend of sugared grapefuit
Teak: This one reminds me of my husband, warm and sultry
Wild Orchid: I’m not big on floarls, but this is a nice alternative- perfect for Summer
Creme Brulee: Rich and decadent vanilla swirled in brown sugar
Clean Crisp White: Smells like a warm fluffy freshly laundered towel
Rain: Spring all the way with plenty of ozone
