f: Hi Minow, it's a pleasure to chat with you today. How are you?

Minow: Hello, the pleasure is mine. I’m very happy, thank you and very grateful for my music and for the people who support it.

f: Please tell us a little about yourself, where you're from and how you started making dance music?

Minow: I’m Mexican, born in Mexico City, and I’ve always had music by my side. My grandparents loved to dance, and I grew up in a family where dancing and expressing yourself through music is completely natural. Interestingly, my brother and I are the first formal musicians in the family, but everyone carries and loves music in their own way. I’ve been dancing and feeling music since I was very young.

f: Who did you listen to growing up, and do they influence your music career at all today? 

Minow: When I was a kid, I listened to a lot of 80s Disco music. My dad is a huge fan and always shared it with me. On the other hand, my mom’s side of the family was more into Latin music, salsa, cumbia, those kinds of rhythms. Then, when I was 13, I discovered Tiësto (Elements of Life, Copenhagen 2007) through a DVD my dad gave me and that completely changed my life. From the moment I saw that rave concert, everything shifted for me.

f: How would you describe your sound?

Minow: I would describe my sound as a groove. I am music, I am groove. A deep, immersive Latin groove, sometimes with Latin vocals that stay in your memory, sometimes only groove, house with deep sounds 

f: What was your first release? 

Minow: My first release in my career, “Love,” over 11 years ago was a track where I was starting to explore sounds leaning more toward deep house, while still blending with classic house. Today, it’s a song that reminds me of the whole journey and my beginnings. I have a special connection to it.

f: Which of your own tracks was the biggest labour of love to create / personal favourite? 

Minow: My personal favourite is “Únicos,” a track where the conversation you hear in the break is actually me speaking with an older man on a beach in Ibiza during the summer of 2022. He talks to me about life, about being free, and about valuing what makes you unique in this world.  

f: And your most successful release?

Minow: My most successful release so far until now is “Si Tú,” released on Nervous Records, where I also had the honor of having a remix by Rafa Barrios. It’s a track that has been played all over the world and definitely marked a big moment in my career. 

f: You’ve just released ‘The Bass’ EP on Circus Recordings, what can we expect to hear?

Minow: In this EP, you’ll hear Minow in 2026, full of house and groove. It’s a project with Latin sounds and essence, with 3 tracks, "The Bass", "12AM" and 'Parchado", all fused with pure house energy, creating a unique atmosphere for dance and feel the music no matter where you are.

f: Are you pleased with the results of all 3 tracks, and do you have a particular favourite?

Minow: I love all three tracks equally, although I have a special connection with “12AM” because when I play it, I can see how it transports people somewhere else. It becomes a true dancefloor experience.  

f: How do you typically go about putting a track together?

Minow: I usually start with percussion and drums, listening and testing sounds. Then I move into a solid kick and a bassline that really locks me in and makes me move. Most of the time I’m actually standing in my studio, feeling whether the track truly makes me dance.  

f: What’s your favourite piece of studio kit? 

Minow: Lately I’ve been using the Elektron Digitakt II, and it’s been amazing to experiment with, the variety of drums and sampling possibilities for building live sessions is just incredible.  

f: What’s been your favourite gig of the year and where are you most looking forward to performing soon?

Minow: A few months ago, we had an incredible party weekend at Lost Beach Club, one of my favourite clubs in the world. We hosted a collaborative event with my label and connected with Montañita’s unique crowd, it was something truly magical. And Making my debut in Ibiza soon would be huge, I’m working hard towards that.

f: Do you have any big goals for 2026?

Minow: To connect more with the world through my music, to grow my presence, and to share House Music Bro, my label, with a wider audience, meet and perform in new places around the world , new cultures, new residencies new music.

f: Who are your top 3 current producers?

f: What else are you working on at the moment that you can tell us about?

Minow: A lot of new music is coming full of solid, immersive groove. I’m really happy creating tracks that move me, and I’ve had the chance to see that people enjoy them just as much as I do. I can’t wait to share them with the world.   A radio show is on the way, new music on the label and unique parties with our community.

Max Sinàl - Healing EP [Soul Quest Records]

More than just a collection of club-ready cuts, Healing EP is a deeply personal body of work. Opening with “Reflection”, Max sets the tone with smooth, lush, deep house built around warm Rhodes chords and a rich, rolling groove. Longtime friend and collaborator KingCrowney adds soaring trumpet lines, elevating the track into a heartfelt conversation between keys and brass… timeless, musical and deeply soulful. As the title suggests, it mirrors a period of introspection, setting the emotional foundation for what follows.

“Maya” shifts gears into deeper, jacking territory, driven by a punchy, garage-inflected bump. PARIS, June 2026 — The era of painting as mere "image production" is over.

In a landmark act of intellectual sovereignty, visionary artist and theorist Wallace Woo now presents his first physical manifestation. — a movement that returns the act of creation back to the Earth Matrix, where visual expression yields to the gravity of mineral accumulation.

This is not a new style. It is a restitution. A surrender of human ego to the silent, crushing authority of planetary time.

Opening June 5th at the Espace Temple in Le Marais, Woo's solo exhibition, Stalactite: Part I - The Silent Practitioner of Time, is not a request for dialogue. It is a hostile takeover of the aesthetic narrative, establishing new laws for the future of art history.

The Verdict on History: 'Dimensional Blindness'

Simultaneously with the exhibition, Woo releases his registered theoretical manifesto, The Dimension of Sedimentation (ISBN: 978-988-71890-2-2). This publication has been officially archived in the permanent collection of the Hong Kong Public Libraries — a formal recognition of its status as protected intellectual property.

In this text, Woo transcends the historical limits of 20th-century abstraction, identifying its traditional boundary as 'Dimensional Blindness' — a state where artistic consciousness remained tethered to two-dimensional surfaces and transient emotional gestures.

“I do not manufacture images,” Woo states. “I work with the laws of time and gravity.”

Geological Abstractionism is the cure. It does not ask for interpretation; it imposes a new physics of painting.

The Five-Dimensional Coordinate

Woo's work introduces a multi-dimensional coordinate system, moving beyond the flat plane into what he terms "Cave Time" —a spatial dimension forged through decades of Vipassana discipline. His "Four Methods of Transformation" (Wind, Fire, Water, Earth) act as the operating system for this new art form, channelling human consciousness into fossilised mineral structure.

Each painting is a temporal anchor. It reminds us of the vastness of the Earth and the smallness of our existence. To transcend the limits of human emotion, we must enter the Fifth Dimension.

A Sovereign Intervention

Staged in the architectural silence of Espace Temple Gallery, this exhibition stands as a sovereign intervention against the "accelerated amnesia" of the digital age. Woo's work grants a mineral dignity to human patience, serving as visual records of time that refuse to be consumed instantly.

This is only the first chapter of a larger conquest. The second part, scheduled for 2027, will shift focus toward outward expansion and ecological material studies — anchored by a series of cross-disciplinary dialogues with scholars, including a geologist, an archaeologist, and a glaciologist.

These conversations, along with the complete blueprint of the movement, will be published in a companion volume, Stalactite: The Clamorous Stillness (ISBN: 978-988-71890-0-8), marking the next phase of Geological Abstractionism's mission to return creation to the Earth Matrix.

About the Artist
Wallace Woo is a Paris-based contemporary artist, theorist, and the founder of Stalactite Aesthetics. Formerly in fashion, he turned to meditation and material practice after a period of profound silence. As the pioneer of Geological Abstractionism, he explores the intersection of the Vipassana discipline and material sedimentation. His work is recognised for crystallising time into pigment—each painting a temporal anchor, a quiet record of duration.

On Side A we have the title track "Look At The Cross", an introspective composition that smoothly blends light and darkness, grounded by a distorted, deep message that drives the rhythm. Expect lavish moments of speech-driven intermissions, elegantly complemented by gliding beats and ethereal textures designed with a minimalistic aesthetic in mind.

On the flip, "Something Inside My Head" goes full groovy, unleashing a pumping vibe perfect for late-night sessions. The vocals are sampled from Cuba Gooding's 1983 EP "Happiness Is Just Around The Bend", balancing restraint and release with purpose. The atmosphere remains weightless yet emotionally charged, while the overall flow is simply brilliant and hypnotic. Look deeper, listen closely and you can find some hidden messages.

OBEAH, David Ness, Petru Birladeanu - Cernobîl

40 de ani precum o detonație.

La 40 de ani de la dezastrul de la Cernobîl și, în același timp, în anul în care aniversează 40 de ani de viață, Andrei Bucureci (OBEAH) lansează single-ul „Cernobîl", o piesă postpunk / hip-hop / electro-dub construită ca o transmisie sonoră despre memorie, contaminare și ecologie.

„Cernobîl" este construită în jurul poeziei ecologice semnate de Florin Dumitrescu, din volumul Sentimentul naturii (2023), și devine o compoziție colectivă: David Ness (Scoția) – synth / voce / bas, Lana Arnăutu – inserturi vocale rusești, Petru Bîrlădeanu – beat, mix & master, iar vocea lui Andrei Bucureci este înregistrată la Foreign Humor Productions (Matei Tibacu Blendea). Rezultatul este o piesă cu structură de electro-dub, tensiune post-punk și ritm hip-hop, care funcționează ca o coloană sonoră pentru un peisaj post-industrial.

Crescut în Râmnicu Vâlcea („Hackerville"), pe fundalul transmisiunilor TV despre accidentul nuclear și al filmelor cult de serie B în care mutația devenea metaforă culturală, Andrei transformă această memorie vizuală și afectivă într-un material auditiv contemporan. În lectura poetică a lui Dumitrescu, natura nu mai este un refugiu pastoral, ci un corp contaminat, antropizat, aflat într-o degradare lentă și tăcută. Piesa preia această idee și o transformă într-un „sistem nervos" sonor.

„Cernobîl" marchează simbolic 40 de ani de la topire. Semnalul încă transmite. Single-ul este disponibil gratuit pe Bandcamp, iar publicul este invitat să susțină muzica independentă și să devină parte din această transmisie.

feeder sound exclusive premiere: George Heerd - Magic Forest [Totoyov]

Brazil-based record label Totoyov returns to its vinyl-only series with four heavy dancefloor hitters produced on the shores of the Black Sea by the Romanian artist George Heerd. Titled "Magic Forest" and arriving in a limited number of copies at selected record stores worldwide, the 12" already enjoys massive support from some of the biggest names in the scene, with the mastering being signed by RV Audio and the artwork by Juliette Siraj.

Experimental electronic artist and multi-instrumentalist Killian Walsh announces his new album ‘Ise’, led by the opening single ‘Let’s Float’ featuring his daughter Elise SW. The album title, ‘Ise’, is derived from the Irish word for “she”, serving as a gesture of respect to the women in Killian’s life. A deeply personal body of work shaped by loss, reflection, and renewed connection to music, it sits alongside a global wave of underground producers currently pushing raw, analogue soundscapes and genre boundaries forward.

‘Ise’ reflects a wide emotional spectrum, moving between fragility, reflection, and moments of clarity, tracing a period of personal change and emotional processing. Musically, the album draws upon a broad spectrum of electronic styles from Killian’s past, incorporating elements of Ambient, Trance, House, and Techno, along with reflecting his background in traditional Irish music. The project was developed with support from collaborators in Dublin, Berlin and Australia, including work with seminal producers and engineers Tobias Neumann and Johannes Manuel.

Killian Walsh’s forthcoming full body of work emerged without a defined plan. Following the sudden deaths of his wife and, three months later, his father, Killian found himself turning to music as a way of processing grief. What followed became an organic, cathartic process, resulting in an album that documents an emotional journey through loss, introspection, and gradual renewal.

“There wasn't a grand plan to make an album. I was hit with the death of my wife quite suddenly, and then within three months, the death of my father, and my world was absolutely turned upside down, and I was completely cracked open. The paradox of being completely cracked open is that's when the light can come in. That light was music. This album is effectively the story of the journey of my grief, realising that grief is a form of madness and all the emotions attached to that.” - Killian Walsh

The new single taken from the album, ‘Let’s Float’, introduces the LP’s emotional offering. The track was inspired by a moment shared between Killian and his daughter, Elise, who features as the vocalist on the track, during a family swim in the sea following the passing of his wife. During the swim, both experienced a similar sense of stillness and reassurance, which later formed the foundation of ‘Let’s Float’. The release captures that moment of quiet clarity, translating it into a piece centred on hope and connection.

‘Ise’ as a collection presents a multi-genre body of work that reflects both personal experience and artistic development. Each track on the album contributes to a wider narrative, illustrating Killian’s evolving creative identity while documenting a period of significant change. The forthcoming release of ‘Ise’ introduces an exciting project rooted in lived experience, combining emotional depth with a broad electronic sound palette, as Killian Walsh continues to establish his presence within the wider electronic music landscape.

Lizwi is widely recognised within Afro House, with early collaborations alongside Da Capo and a release on Armada Music and support from industry leaders, including Black Coffee. Her catalogue of work to date spans seminal labels such as MoBlack, Get Physical and more.

Her collaboration with Joezi, ‘Amathole’, gained widespread attention in 2024, generating significant online engagement and leading to a Russian-language version with Filatov & Karas that achieved strong radio support. On the touring circuit, Lizwi has performed over 200 shows across Russia, including the Tavrida Art Festival, alongside international appearances in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey, Morocco, Thailand, Bali, and Mykonos.

Tommy Veanud is the alias of Artem Dunaev, also known as Prime Punk, an international DJ and producer with over 15 years of experience. He has collaborated with artists including Molella, Idd Aziz, Lizwi, Yves V and Burak Yeter, and performed at Ultra Europe in 2024.

Since launching the Tommy Veanud project, he has surpassed three million streams, with consistent Beatport chart support and backing from artists including Hugel, Meduza and Marco Carola. His touring history spans 12 countries and 25 cities, including Amsterdam, Ibiza, Tokyo, Phuket, Moscow, Goa, Bahrain and Macau, with performances alongside artists such as Volac, Goom Gum, Shapov and Alexander Popov, and affiliations with labels including Bunny Tiger, Redolent, Exx Muzik and Cafe de Anatolia.

‘UNqamlezo’ will be released via TV Recordings on 30th April, 2026, marking the next chapter in both artists’ growing and respected catalogues of work.

Marking the 51st release on Lescale Recordings, the latest EP puts the spotlight on Marrakesh-based DJ and producer Yahya [Les Vilains Enfants] delivering a refined selection of minimal, deep cuts shaped by his distinctive fusion of his roots and contemporary electronic grooves. Having grown up through sound engineering and piano, the record unfolds through textured rhythms, subtle melodic layers, and an organic sense of progression that reflects his evolving artistic vision. The EP also features a remix by fellow Moroccan artist Ousseki. Known for his dual life as a doctor and producer, Ousseki brings his signature acid-tinged sound and hypnotic drive, transforming the original into a pulsating, otherworldly journey.

Digging through hundreds of records and digital tracks, the process becomes something closer to archaeology. A snare or a kick from a forgotten beat, a bassline stretched into near-abstraction, a memorable guitar rhythm or an easily recognisable melody overheard in a dream make the ingredients that blur the lines between what we remember and what we feel in the present. They are also the tools of a scene that thrives on tension between memory and reinvention.

Casimir von Oettingen, better known as CVO, is the driving force behind the Bladehouse and Paulum record labels. Renowned for his vibrant productions and distinctive remixes, he has remained a committed presence in the underground scene for over a decade. Here, he samples Buddy Rich Big Band's iconic song "The Beat Goes On", recorded live in 1967 with the drummer's daughter Cathy Rich on the vocals. Although the track has been covered and reinterpreted by many artists throughout time, this modern club-oriented edit has all it takes to make anyone start dancing in seconds.

Dragutesku - DRGS03A [DRGS003]

If you've ever wondered whether hip-hop and minimal techno could truly collide, consider this a definitive example. Known for dropping several edits of this combination on his early untitled DRG Series, Dragutesku's take on Missy Elliot's "Lose Control" feat. Ciara & Fat Man Scoop hits hard even today, as it has been on rotation at countless small parties and big festivals around the world. The original track was released as the lead single from Elliott's sixth studio album, The Cookbook, in 2005.

Emi / Colm K feat. Elaine Dowling - Basics

More than ten years ago, Colm K, one of Ireland's most respected DJs and producers, returned to the "Basics" alongside Elaine Dowling on vocals for an amazing soulful single, released via Bastard Jazz Recordings together with equally inspiring dub, trip-hop and drum'n'bass remixes. As a true fan of the genre, local artist Emi sampled the track and delivered his own low-slung version, bringing the original vibes to the minimal scene, where it has remained stuck in the minds of thousands to this day.

Gathaspar - Op. 3 [CHYPRE002]

With releases on Thema, Amam, Made Of Concrete, Nilla, Howl Stamp, Curtea Veche, Freude Am Tanzen and Mikro Records, Germany-based DJ and producer Gathaspar is definitely a prominent figure in the electronic music community worldwide. Rooted in a distinct brightness and indescribable elusiveness, the productions released via his own Chypre Records passed the test of time with ease as the rhythms and textures became a hypnotic affair hard to ignore. This edit focuses on Bahamadia's iconic track "Biggest Part of Me" from the artist's debut album Kollage, released via Chrysalis Records in 1996.

Kirik / SiR - Hair Down feat. Kendrick Lamar

As an offshoot release from his usual edits published via Memory Remains, Kirik's edit of "Hair Down" by SiR feat. Kendrick Lamar perfectly captures the contemporary sound of American R&B, smoothly distilled into a dancefloor version where the artist's fingerprint sound is meant to take the original into a different type of club culture, where sharp drumming patterns and funky basslines expand on the genre with style.

Lauter / Miles Davis - Générique

Carefully rearranged and transformed into a modern electronic music anthem by Jacque Saravanté aka Lauter, "Générique" by Miles Davis carries a distinct emotional weight, no matter the genre it moves through. Rooted in jazz and blues, the original was recorded at Le Poste Parisien Studio in Paris in 1957 as part of the soundtrack to Louis Malle's film Ascenseur pour l’échafaud, composed by the legendary American trumpeter. The Glasgow-based artist keeps to the intimate sound of that recording while rendering a breezy variation perfect for the afterhours or laid-back afternoon sessions.

Makebo / Planet Funk - Chase the Sun [Shanti Mansion]

Yet another major hit of the '90s, Planet Funk's "Chase the Sun" got millions dancing and rejoicing to the irresistible groove this composition brought forward. Now strip it down, elegantly play with the measures and you have Makebo's remix released via Shanti Mansion, diving deep into minimal aesthetics while echoes of the original can be easily identified and enjoyed even today.

Marwan Sabb & Joey Daniel / Michael Jackson - The Closet

We all know the fact that Michael Jackson was one of a kind and his timeless songs were remixed by many, many artists over time. Just like this one right here! Played by top names in the scene, Marwan Sabb & Joey Daniel's edit of "In the Closet" incorporates tech house, microhouse and minimal elements perfect to heat any dancefloor at the right time. The extended breakdowns and the reverberated vocals deliver a trippy sound, while the punchy drums and weaving bassline complement the journey to perfection. The original is included in MJ's otherworldly eighth studio album, Dangerous, released on Epic Records back in 1991.

Monthy Nolan / Nina Kraviz - Tarde

Aside from her high-octane DJ sets, Nina Kraviz has also explored downtempo music, bringing the track "Tarde" into the spotlight in 2023. Weaving layered beats and rich textures with fleeting, ethereal vocals, she shapes a hypnotic journey centred around the concept of LOVE like never before. On remix duties, Hungarian electronic music veteran Monthy Nolan elevates the original to new dimensions, blending minimal finesse with progressive energy into a sound primed to ignite the dancefloor.

Priku / Depeche Mode - Little 15 [EEE]

In 2018, the mysterious record label East End Edits or shortly EEE, released its second untitled vinyl containing only one track on Side A. That track is actually an edit of the famous song "Little 15" released by the renowned British band Depeche Mode in 1987 as part of their sixth studio album, Music for the Masses (Mute Records/Sire Records). The reinterpretation takes the original into minimal territory and is credited to Atipic's head chef, Priku.

Quenum / The Police - Can't Stand Losing You

Cadenza and Access 58 co-founder Quenum is an established artist with a career that spans more than three decades in the electronic music scene. His extended experience can be felt directly when you hear his sets or productions, as the music he mixes and produces speaks for itself. In this case, we have an immersive edit of "Can't Stand Losing You" by the acclaimed British rock band The Police, a song featured on the group's debut album Outlandos d'Amour, published via A&M Records in 1978.

Ricardo Villalobos / Soda Stereo - Nuestra Fe

Ricardo Villalobos is well-known for remixing or incorporating old-school favourites into his artistic process, whether in productions or DJ sets. Most of these tracks remain unreleased, but somehow they manage to appear online, just like this one. Here, we see Ricardo sampling "Nuestra Fe" by the Argentinian rock band Soda Stereo and transforming the original into an extended minimal journey where you can still hear the vocals from time to time, along with other more subtle elements.

Sojo / Charly Garcia - Raros Peinados Nuevos

Hailing from Mexico, Sojo is a DJ, producer and owner of two record labels, Figure Negra and Miauw! Records. His music incorporates minimal techno, microhouse, ambient and experimental elements as he likes to explore and combine various genres to create distinct sonic experiences. On this track, we see him delve into the works of the Argentine rock musician Charly Garcia, specifically "Raros Peinados Nuevos", a track from the artist's third studio album Piano Bar released in 1984.

Subit / Mihaela Runceanu - Fericirea are chipul tău

Being an architect of the avant-garde minimal sound, local artist Subit has always been seeking to achieve a futuristic musical dimension that has yet to be classified under a particular genre. His edit of Mihaela Runceanu's classic hit "Fericirea are chipul tău" reveals a warm and steady-paced composition designed with minimal house and breakbeat influences, while the vocal chorus is elegantly modulated and subtly faded in the mix. The original song can be found on Mihaela's second and last official album Pentru voi, muguri noi, released by Electrecord in 1989.

Ubbah / Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box

Released as the first single from Nirvana's third album, In Utero, by DGC Records in 1993, "Heart-Shaped Box" is one of the most iconic songs the American grunge band delivered, reaching the top 10 in many countries around the world. Ubbah's edit keeps to the original, while switching the sound to a chilled microhouse-infused groove perfect for maintaining energy in the early hours at any party.

Unknown - Got Your Dirty Money [CATERINCA02]

Alongside r.organic and Nihil Sine Musica, Caterinca is a label part of Organic Society based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This particular venture is focused on releasing untitled and limited vinyl materials that contain edits of well-known songs, without disclosing the name of the artist or artists behind the production. Side A of the imprint's second pressing from 2022 features the funky vibes of Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Got Your Money" feat. Kelis and produced by The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo).

Unknown Artist - Edit Piaf 03 A [Edit Piaf]

Edit Piaf is a mysterious record label based in Barcelona, which has brought forward a couple of limited and uncredited vinyl titles that can be found out there only by their catalogue number. On the third pressing, Side A features samples from "Respect", a 1995 track recorded by French hip-hop act Alliance Ethnik (K-Mel, Médard, Gutsy, Crazy B, Faster Jay).

Unknown Artist - Flöte [RAL]

Combining Romanian folklore with low-slung minimal that passes the 10-minute mark, Side A from RAL's second limited pressing is a true dancefloor banger that has been enjoyed by thousands of people worldwide. Titled "Flöte", the track is truly hypnotic and genuinely merges traditional music with modern aesthetics, sampling "Suită din Țara Moților" by Dumitru Fărcaș. Rumours say that this EP has been produced by Romanian artists Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu.

Unknown Artist - Ijzeren Rots [Digwah]

"Riders on the Storm" by The Doors is one of the most sampled and remixed pieces of psychedelic rock out there. This pumping edit has been released by Digwah, a white label focused on publishing house and techno versions of classic hits from cherished artists and bands. The author remains unknown and the track can still be hard at underground events even if it came out almost eight years ago.

Unus Emre / Sade - Somebody Already Broke My Heart [Satya Records]

Unus Emre is an accomplished DJ and producer who embarked on his musical journey in 1999. His sound traverses house, deep house, tech house, melodic house, deep tech and minimal, captivating audiences all over the world. His edit of Sade's "Somebody Already Broke My Heart", published as a free download via Satya Records, keeps to the warm and soulful sound of the original, which was released on the band's 2000 album Lovers Rock by Epic Records.

Phonox Announces Circulate, a Multi-Venue Series Connecting Three South London Venues

Phonox announces the launch of Circulate, a new forward-thinking summer event series that connects three South London venues, Phonox, M.O.T., and Jumbi, into a day-to-night programme. Curated as a distinctive new format designed to challenge industry norms, Circulate will move audiences across each venue, bringing together different environments, musical programming, and communities within one cohesive experience in South London, elevating the capital’s clubbing landscape.

Alex Drift - Curiosity (Chapter 1) LP [Electromantica]

With Curiosity (Chapter 1), Alex Drift presents the first selection of his own productions from the past 20 years, which he painstakingly recovered and reworked following a devastating data loss. Some of the tracks are over 15 years old; they have been remastered and modernised, blending indie dance, tech house, and electro. The result is a collection of timeless tracks that work just as well on the radio as they do on the dance floor.

The album is an invitation to view life with open eyes—even when it seems chaotic, uncomfortable, or unpredictable. It celebrates curiosity as the driving force that guides us through light and shadow: from the deceptive harmony of everyday life (Floating Harmony) to the liberating lightness of a summer jam, all the way to the radical honesty of Sold My Soul to the Devil. Each track tells a story of connection, courage, and the courage to stay true to oneself.

Curiosity (Chapter 1) is the first part of a 20-Track journey. An album that conveys not just music, but an attitude toward life: wild, honest, and full of hope.

Alex Drift stands for a straightforward, clear, very melodic and catchy electronic sound. His main focus at the moment is on boogie house beats, disco basslines and catchy vocal hooks. Alex Drift likes to leave his comfort zone and try out other genres like Drum & Bass or UK House to challenge himself, try out and discover new things. Alex is no newcomer to the field of electronic music and has been living in Berlin for 20 years and was Part of the eclectic Music Scene. There he has already released under different pseudonyms on labels like Vinyl Vibes Records, Vienna Scientists, Ministry of Sound or Stereo Deluxe and won 2nd place at the Land Rover Music Award.
