For this episode of our ongoing podcast series we invite Vladimir Marinkovic to deliver a showcase mix from his Microgarden lab. platform.

Hailing from Serbia, Vladimir Marinkovic is a sculptor, designer, DJ, producer and owner of the independent record label Microgarden lab., a platform dedicated to deep and organic underground minimal music.

Born and currently living in Kragujevac, Vladimir has shown an interest in electronic music since the late '90s, when he started to go out at local clubs and be a part of the first parties in town. After his 18th birthday he travelled to Belgrade where he got involved with various organisations and festivals, managing legal events and illegal raves focused on house, techno and closely related genres. At the same time, he started producing his own tracks alongside friends from his hometown and the capital city. During 2010, he met Vedran Komm, with whom he developed a strong friendship and started working on the Dub'n'Ground imprint and podcast series while laying the foundations for his label Microgarden lab. and its sister venture Microgarden Deep, both officially launched in late 2020.

Aside from his own playgrounds, he also published some of his productions via pick.cell Records, Milimetric, Dub Collective Recordings, Animus, Low Rec, Boogie Recordings, Circles Digital Records, P.U.N.C.H.I.S., The Red Skull, Diagonal, Sinapsis Records, Clash & Splash and Borderline Traxx, among others.

In the last five years, Microgarden lab. and Microgarden Deep published 70+ titles, featuring artists from all over the world involved with minimal techno and microhouse production. This year, the first showcase events are also scheduled, as well as new releases from Adam Ortiz, Antonio Lombardo, Enzo C. Motta, Duky, Philipp Wolgast and Andrea Giuliani. Stay tuned.

f: Hi John and Kevin, it's a pleasure to chat with you today, how are you?
Beat Rivals: We're all good, thanks for having us.
 
f: Please tell us a little about yourselves, where you're from and how you started making dance music? 
John: I'm originally a South London boy, I grew up in Battersea. I've since settled in Surrey. My first dabblings with music production was at around the age of 16, making edits and stumbling across phase inversion.
Kevin: I'm from East London... and still am to this day. I've always loved music and got into it with a group of friends as part of a DJ group. From there I was introduced to some local vocalists and started writing and recording with them.
 
f: How did you meet?
John: there's a long and a short answer, me being a man of few words, I'll keep it short... I was working with Kevin's brother, Chris. Chris brought Kevin round to mine. Me and Kev hit it off straight away, our paths were so similar, and we had so much in common. From then we linked up most weekends.
 
f: Who did you listen to growing up and do they influence your music career at all today? 
John: My mum would listen to Motown, so that was always round the house growing up. Then there were the sounds of Jazz Funk and Reggae that my older cousins would list to while looking after me. As I got older, I got into Hardcore, Jungle, Garage, the geek in me would go down the sample spotting rabbit hole. Ultimately I am a sucker for a funky beat and bassline.
Kevin: I listened to a lot of different music as a youngster from break dance to happy hard core, house, soul music and popular music. My influences and ideas can be quite varied from Michael Jackson all the way through to The Nightcrawlers, however my love of house music has always been there.

f: How would you describe your sound?
Beat Rivals: Soulful, funky, Vocal.

f: What was your first release?
Beat Rivals: Our first release was in 2011 - Beat Rivals feat. Flexie Muiso ‘Why Do I’. The original isn't online anymore, but a remastered version is. However, our first track together, long before Beat Rivals, was in '94. That never got a release, but we do still have the DAT and may upload that at some stage, maybe to celebrate Beat Rivals 15th anniversary.

f: Which of your own tracks or remixes was the biggest labour of love to create / personal favourite? 
John: For me, my biggest labour of love has to be our version of ‘I Am Somebody’ with Lifford. I've always loved the Glenn Jones original. I could hear similarities with Lifford’s voice. We called in Valerie Etienne and Romina Johnson to take on the Jones Girls part from the original. Getting that vocal balance right, keeping it true to the original almost broke me!

Kevin: My personal favourite has to be our remix of Brown and Brown ‘Good Life’. Getting to work with Jocelyn Brown's vocals was a dream.

f: And your most successful release? 
Beat Rivals: A real slow burner for us, but by far our biggest streamer is Beat Rivals & Andre Espeut ‘You Are The Answer’. It never stops surprising us how much the track keeps on growing.

f: You’ve just released your new single, ‘Feels So Right’ with Andre Espeut, what can we expect to hear?
Beat Rivals: Andre's smooth vocals, backed up by the dream team of Valerie Etienne and Romina Johnson. Lush keys and funky bass, doing as per our brand "Keeping It Soulful".

f: What’s the inspiration behind the song?
Beat Rivals: Between us and Andre, we wanted a soulful House take on the classic Philly soul sound.
 
f: You have worked a lot with Andre in the past, how did you guys link up and will you be working together again in the future?
Beat Rivals: So it was a chance "non-meeting" of us at the Quantize 10th Anniversary party at Ministry of Sound. We got a message from Andre a couple of days after saying he saw us but couldn't get to us. From there we landed up getting together and writing. Andre is a joy to work with and no doubt there will be more tracks together.
 
f: What’s your favourite piece of studio kit? 
John: It has to be my Rhodes, which I have personally restored... Closely followed by my SP1200.
Kevin: The Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 08 is my favourite- it feels alive,  it’s hands on, full of character and analogue warmth It always sparks ideas straight away.
 
f: Who does what in the studio?
John: I'll generally take the lead on recording, although Kev is more than capable, it's just most of the recording tends to be done at mine these days.
Kevin: We both can get an idea together on keys and tend to share that role. Then it's bouncing ideas back and forth.
John: Kev also makes a good cup of tea.

f: Your label, Rival Beat Records, is now in its 15th year, what’s the secret to your longevity and continued success?
Beat Rivals: The label is 15, but we have 17+ years together before that. It is a love of the music and a way of life, along with a determination to improve and experience as much as possible.

f: As well as your own output, the label has featured artists such as Opolopo, Sean McCabe and DJ Spen to name a few. Who else would you love to see on the label?
John: Vocalist wise there are a few names, Darrien Dean is someone I really like, Josh Milan just has such a good voice. If it were to have someone remix us, the pinnacle would have to be Louie Vega or Dave Lee.
 
f: What has been your biggest triumph and your biggest learning curve in the world of music so far?
John: For me I could never imagine as a teenager making some pretty crude tracks in my South London bedroom ever being able to work with some of the best singers and musicians. Making music I can look back on with a huge sense of pride.
Kevin: In the beginning of our musical journey we had lots of rejections. The biggest thing I learned was to not give up, practice hard, when you get knocked down get up and try again. We did just that, and now we are working with lots of great artists and putting out tracks that will last forever.

f: Which dance track holds the most precious memories for you? 
John: Ollie & Jerry - Breakin' There's No Stopping Us. Memories of growing up, the early years of synths, but with real musicians and great vocals.
Kevin: I used to love listening and dancing to The Prodigy. The rhythms, Beats and baselines were fantastic. You couldn’t help but move.
 
f: Who are your top 3 current producers?  
Beat Rivals: There's the 2 that I mentioned earlier who I'd love to have on the label, both consistent at the highest level, Louie Vega and Dave Lee, the other is someone who is on a similar journey as us, with the same ideology, Pat Bedeau.

f: What else are you working on that you can tell us about?
Beat Rivals: We are currently putting the finishing touches to a Kele LeRoc track, which we are really excited about and another track with Hannah Khemoh.

Pete Bandit - Trying & Crying [Dirt Crew Recordings]

Pete Bandit is back on Dirt Crew Recordings with a strong 4-track. After his 2022 EP “Wild Feelings” and contributions to our 20th anniversary compilation and remixing “Petals In Sound,” we are super happy to have some deep new music by this fellow Dutch Berliner.

This new “Trying & Crying” EP builds further upon the creative course set out in his earlier releases, serving classically infused house music inspired by those who laid the foundations in the seminal scenes of New York, Detroit, and Chicago. The EP is meant to be more club-oriented than his previous work. The opening track, “Trying & Crying” is a deep excursion into solid deep New York style house from the mid-90s. As well as “No Control (Let Loose),” where a haunting vocal sample and lush pads and keys really pull us back to that golden era of house music. “The Meat Computer” adds a more solid Bass Line and this “spiritual” touch with its great percussion parts, which are rougher and feature a more forward-pushing arrangement. Closing out, we have a special guest appearance by Dr Sud, known for his deep jazzy outings on labels such as “Cognitiva Records” and “Q1E2”. He elevates “No Control (Let Loose)” in a special break beat and percussion frenzy, going deep, very smooth and beautiful!

All tracks were mixed by Ariel Schlichter and mastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne.

Eddi Shkiper is one of the rising voices in the minimal house scene. With the Rustling of Mind EP, he signs a project with Fantastic Friends that is both subtle and powerful.

The tracks reveal an immersive sound narrative: organic textures, precise rhythms, and a hypnotic tension that captures the listener from the very first seconds. This EP perfectly illustrates his ability to combine dancefloor effectiveness with the richness of listening outside the club.

.JImi. - Pretty Thing EP [Fantastic Friends Recordings]

Since its beginnings within the Euphoria collective in the 90s, Jaime Torrealba, aka JIMi, has constantly explored the deepest corners of house and minimal music. A central figure in the Chilean scene, he has established his unique style: a subtle combination of stripped-back grooves, hypnotic textures, and a dub-techno approach that has distinguished him for nearly three decades. It is therefore only natural that JIMi today joins the Fantastic Friends family with his new project: Pretty Things EP. This EP presents itself as a sound exploration between minimal sophistication and organic energy. JIMi confirms that he remains an essential voice in the underground scene, loyal to his heritage while constantly seeking new artistic paths.

Holo - Astro [Last Year At Marienbad]

Last Year At Marienbad sub label Oath proudly presents the latest work from producer Holo, ‘Astro’, a spellbinding record built on ethereal textures, emotive purity, and endlessly danceable frequencies.

Based in Berlin, Holo crafts dance music that speaks in carefree whispers. His sound balances hypnotic emotion with strong compositional foundations, weaving synchronised melodic layers that move with the rhythm yet never feel confined by it. Rooted in the deeper side of house, his productions are enriched by intricate harmonic details that interlace intuitively, creating moments of instrumental magic. Originally from Melbourne, Holo, aka Hugo Horwood, has steadily shaped a sound that is unmistakably his own. Drawing from unexpected corners of pop, classic rock, acid, and 90s hip hop, he blends nostalgia with forward-looking dancefloor sensibilities. His breakthrough came in 2019 when his debut track ‘Atlas’ was uploaded to the influential YouTube channel Houseum, quickly capturing a global audience. The momentum continued with his debut EP, Atlas, on Lost Palms, a sub-label of UK house heavyweight Shall Not Fade. Featuring the deep house favourite ‘In My Dreams,’ which has since surpassed 3 million streams on Houseum, the EP cemented his reputation as a rising force in contemporary deep house.

‘Astro’ marks the next chapter in his evolution. As a cohesive body of work, it showcases the hallmarks of his sound while exploring invigorating new dimensions. The title track unfolds as an airy, free-flowing composition, its semi-stepping drum pattern framing delicate key melodies that shimmer with Balearic warmth. A distant saxophone adds a glowing, sun-soaked touch.

‘Spirits’ shifts gears with an uptick in tempo, steering toward an imagined dancefloor paradise. Layered drums anchor cascading filtered synths and lush strings, building a quietly powerful sense of grandeur.

Opening the B side, ‘Sympatika’ leans into an expansive groove before unveiling softly undulating pads and a more stripped-back yet deeply emotive melodic structure. Production Approach & Technical Insight

The EP reveals a strong emphasis on analogue signal chains and hardware-based sequencing. Drum machines are programmed with surgical precision yet retain a humanised swing, while synth layers suggest the use of modular systems and subtractive synthesis.

The mixing process is particularly noteworthy: each element occupies a clearly defined space in the frequency spectrum, with low-end elements tightly controlled and mids sculpted to avoid masking. Subtle use of reverb and delay creates depth without washing out the groove—an essential characteristic for club-oriented records.

A2 – Detroit

B1 – Maison

The production highlights careful EQ carving and dynamic automation. Pads evolve धीरे, while percussive hits are processed with subtle transient shaping, giving them presence without aggression.

B2 – Lost In The Moment

Arguably the most immersive track of the record, Lost In The Moment builds around a hypnotic loop that gradually unfolds.

Delay chains and reverb tails are used as compositional tools, not just effects—creating a sense of continuity and flow. The track demonstrates a strong understanding of tension and release through minimal variation.

B3 – Willy

Closing the EP, Willy introduces a slightly more playful rhythmic structure while maintaining the overall aesthetic.

Off-beat elements and groove variations give the track a dynamic feel. Technically, it showcases precise timing adjustments and groove quantisation, resulting in a fluid yet controlled rhythm.

Rooted in analogue aesthetics yet forward-looking in its construction, the EP bridges raw machine funk with intricate rhythmic abstraction.

With a catalog that resonates deeply among vinyl collectors and selectors alike, Circus Company continues its legacy of curating forward-thinking electronic music, balancing experimental textures with dancefloor sensibility. This release sits comfortably within their ethos, pushing sonic boundaries without losing its physical, tactile groove.

Production & Sonic Architecture

Weirdo Active stands out through its meticulous sound design and analogue-driven workflow. Mixed by Flabbergast at Studio Cagibi, the EP carries a warm, saturated low-end paired with crisp, articulate highs—suggesting the use of outboard gear and analogue summing techniques. The stereo field is handled with precision: percussive elements are subtly panned to create movement, while bass frequencies remain tightly centred, ensuring club compatibility.

The mastering, handled by SeeYou Mastering, preserves dynamic range while enhancing clarity and punch. There’s no over-compression here—transients breathe naturally, giving the grooves an organic propulsion.

Visually, the release is framed by the refined aesthetic of République Studio, whose artwork mirrors the EP’s abstract and slightly surreal sonic narrative.

Tracklist Analysis

A1 – Timecrowave

Opening with a warped oscillation that feels both playful and disorienting, Timecrowave unfolds as a study in controlled chaos. Syncopated drum programming anchors the track, while modulated synth lines weave in and out of phase, creating a sense of temporal distortion—hence the title.

From a technical standpoint, the track excels in its use of LFO modulation and filter automation, producing evolving textures that never quite repeat. The groove is subtly off-grid at moments, giving it a humanized swing that contrasts with its machine origins.

The breakdown introduces granular delays and spatial effects, expanding the sonic field before snapping back into a tight, driving rhythm—perfectly engineered for late-night dancefloor transitions.

B1 – Serpentoute

Darker and more introspective, Serpentoute dives into deeper territory. A rolling bassline slithers beneath layered percussion, while eerie pads and reversed elements create an almost cinematic tension.

The production here leans heavily on textural layering: multiple synth voices occupy different frequency bands, carefully EQ’d to avoid masking while maintaining density. The result is a hypnotic, immersive experience.

Notably, the use of subtle distortion and saturation adds grit without sacrificing clarity—a hallmark of refined analog processing. The track evolves gradually, emphasizing atmosphere over peak-time explosiveness, making it a powerful tool for selectors who value storytelling in their sets.

Boa Nova Festival Unveils Full Lineup for London Debut Celebrating Brazilian Music

In a celebration of Brazilian music, The Columbo Group unveils the full lineup for Boa Nova Festival, taking place at Leyton Jubilee Park on Friday, 22nd May 2026. The inaugural edition of the festival brings together seminal artists who represent the breadth, diversity, and vibrancy of Brazil’s contemporary music scene, featuring a lineup comprising exclusively Brazilian artists.

Set across two stages, Boa Nova Festival will be headlined by three pioneering Brazilian artists, João Gomes, Liniker and Mari Froes, coming together on a single bill for a unique London event. The lineup will also feature a range of talent from established names to emerging artists, including A Música De Tim Maia, D. Vyzor, and a very special guest to be announced. A second, dance-oriented stage, created in partnership with Baile Funk Culture, will feature Caio Prince, Th4ys, Bronka, DJ Patife and Mango & Ginger. The festival performances will span contemporary rhythms, electronic influences and Brazilian grooves, reflecting the range of sounds shaping Brazil’s current music scene.

The Boa Nova organisers comment on the festival’s first edition:
“After years of sold-out shows at the Jazz Cafe for London’s Brazilian community, we’re excited to bring our most ambitious lineup yet to an outdoor celebration of Brazilian music this May Bank Holiday.”

Boa Nova Festival is curated to place Brazilian music on equal footing with London’s established festival culture, giving both emerging and established artists a platform to connect with new audiences. In addition to live performances, Boa Nova Festival will feature immersive activities designed to bring to life multiple areas of the festival and engage audiences throughout.

The programme will showcase the energy and vibrancy of Brazil in London, with experiential activities across the festival. Live samba drumming will provide a carnival atmosphere, while performances including Samba de Malandro, Carnival-inspired shows, Brazilian Axé, and Brazilian Funk will celebrate the dynamic sounds and rhythms of contemporary Brazilian music. Attendees can expect a lively and colourful experience of Brazilian culture in a London setting.

A variety of Brazilian food and drink vendors, including Aroma Grill and Broll Grill, specialising in traditional Brazilian Churrasco, will complement the experience with authentic dishes and flavours, offering attendees a taste of Brazil’s rich culinary heritage.

Skipson - Back In The Box EP [La Peña]

After a five-year hiatus, German record label La Peña returns with a fresh title signed by Berlin-based DJ and producer Skipson. Titled "Back In The Box EP", the record includes six stripped-down tracks that find themselves somewhere at the intersection of downtempo, deep house and minimal, making them intriguing functional tools perfect for the afterhours. The artwork is signed by Aoki & Matsumoto.

Founded by Arno Völker in 2007 as a platform for friends to meet up, live jam and release the music they love, La Peña steadily grew into a record label, with the first vinyl being pressed one year later, in 2008. Aside from the label head himself, the collective also includes artists like Carsten Schuchmann, Christian Burkhardt, David Schaller, Dorian Paic, Fimo, Frank Heinrich, Martin Swanstein, Miguel Ayala, Moritz Piske and Sascha Dive. There's also an offshoot venture linked to the main label named La Peña Shots, which enjoys an extended catalogue featuring top names in the underground electronic music scene.

Known for his laidback, morning sets at Berlin's most renowned venues, Skipson elegantly blends various genres with modern minimal aesthetics, smoothly balancing release and tension on the dancefloor. Over time, he released some of his music through labels like Quintessentials, Raum...musik, Maria Colors, Deep Vibes Recordings, Rue De Plaisance and DreamAwake.

Side A opens with the warm sounds of "Boomerang" laying out a chilled groove led by a gliding melody and tight-cut vocals, followed by "Thx To The Universe" which picks up the pace and goes straight to 124 bpm of pure harmony and nostalgia as shuffling wood snares merge with sustained pads, ethereal vocal inserts and crisp drumming patterns. "Won't Go" switches gears, dropping an immersive mix of minimal, deep house and funk, perfect for making the dancefloor move in the early hours.

On the B-Side we first find "The Bliss", and, just as the title implies, expect an amazing cut that samples Gotye's 2011 hit "Somebody That I Used to Know", elegantly chopped, pitched down and mixed with a punchy, low-slung rhythm to which an adventurous whistling is added to create an immersive composition. Next up, "Yeah" lowers the tempo and brings broken beats and soulful samples to the journey, while "Melougy" closes the release with clockwork minimal beats and textures that seem transferred from the early '90s into a modern layout designed for those special 9 AM moments at any party.

Italian maestro CASSIMM lands back on Toolroom with ‘Anything And Everything’.

In recent years, he’s established himself as one of House music’s most consistent and reliable producers with regular high-rankings on Beatport with records such as ‘Valerie’, ‘Over You’ and ‘Hear Me Out’ to name only a few. Swiss label Mormorio returns with its 6th vinyl-only release featuring Zurich-based artist Aline, who drops two original tracks that move between subtle grooves, reduced textures and a warm, driving flow. MOR006 is backed up by remixes from Paul K and Lorik, each bringing their own perspective to the record and drifting into deeper territories while keeping the essence intact. The result is a balanced release that works as well on intimate dancefloors as it does in late-night sessions.

Part of L.E.T Music collective and label head at The Pluto Question, Aline has been active in the underground scene for quite some time now, always delivering the good vibes. Her DJ sets and productions embrace the minimalist aesthetic while incorporating influences from breakbeat, microhouse and techno, creating a distinct fusion of tension and release.

With a focus on promoting artists from the minimal techno and microhouse scene in Switzerland, Mormorio Records' vinyl discography slowly expands, including titles so far delivered by Mikhu & Lorik, Fulvio Cala, Mjulev, Lepaya and Hux, with remixes provided by NTFO, Kaufmann, Cosmjn, Alci, Vern, Giorgio Maulini, Traumer, Zlatnichi and Dragan.

Side A opens with "Hook Up Peacock", a vibrant, stripped-down composition, powered by punchy drums, a meandering bassline and gliding complementary layers based on highly modulated vocal samples that add extra flavour to the rhythm. On the remix, Paul K takes the original into a darker dimension where the clockwork percussion seems interlocked with expansive, grainy textures and delayed vocals, creating a mysterious and hypnotic atmosphere.

On the flip we first find the vibrant and dissonant vibe of "Bafo", evoking a subtle feeling of Laurie Anderson's "O Superman" as the track unfolds, twists and turns into a slow-burning tool best fitted for late-night selections, while Lorik's reinterpretation dives deep in a dub-infused territory, making the original cut slide into cosmic sonic affairs, as it bounces through the frequency spectrum with style.

Dr.Nojoke returns to Klangscheiben with "Tegli", his most intimate release on the label to date. Packing five tracks designed with the artist's fingerprint sound, the mini-album can be described as a portrait of stillness in motion, a place, a feeling or a walk you don't want to end. The warm and hypnotic sound evokes an ethereal realm Where the Water Remembers.

Previous collaborations include appearances on several VA compilations as well as three standalone releases, namely Clusters & Clouds (2014), Kakawawa (2017) and Oiroa (2022).

Founded in 2004 by Thomas Bäz aka Demas, Klangscheiben is a Berlin-based label dedicated to deep and functional underground electronic music built for dancefloors and headphones alike. Over two decades and 77 titles, the imprint has cultivated an impressive roster of artists from Berlin and beyond, releasing music at the intersection of deep house, microhouse, minimal techno and experimental club sounds.

As the track slowly reveals its intricacies and offers an ever-evolving atmosphere, we drift and begin to wonder. Here's an insight from Dr.Nojoke himself:

I created "Aharam" and the other four tracks around three or four years ago, without any particular theme in mind. Later on, when Thomas of Klangscheiben and I were putting the tracks together, he asked me for a photo for the cover. I suggested a photo of my favourite place in Berlin, a swampy area in the north of the city, which I have loved since childhood. I took the photo in mid-February, when the last traces of winter were still visible. The photo has a very deep personal and emotional meaning for me.

My track titles are mostly abstract and open to different interpretations. They reflect a mood for me, and they must sound interesting, just like all the small sounds in my tracks. They all have a specific sound. "Aharam" evokes something in me. I have some images in my mind, but I won't share them with you because I want you to have your own. Thanks for listening. Where his previous works painted imaginary islands and speculative shores, Tegli draws from something real and close - a winding stretch of water on the edge of the city, quiet and unhurried, flanked by reeds, bare trees and winter light. Animal tracks in the snow. A sun sitting low. The kind of place that asks you to slow down and listen.

And so does this music. Dr.Nojoke's signature organic warmth runs through every track - carefully chosen sounds that feel lived-in rather than designed, grooves that breathe, textures that shift like light on cold water. His storytelling through sound remains precise and understated, never overstating what the landscape itself already says.

Since 2005, Frank Bogdanowitz aka Dr.Nojoke has been working on technoid sound-sculptures with an experimental and minimal approach based on his archive of self-made sounds and field-recordings. Through processing and editing, he defines a groovy, hypnotic and deep musical style he calls CLIKNO. At all times, he attaches great importance to unusual and random harmonies, melodic structures, polyrhythms and polymeters, non-stereotypical sounds and hook-lines, which willingly break up clichés.

His live performances may feature instruments such as old radios, crushed plastic bottles, Jew's harps, souvenirs and toys as he celebrates the joy of finding special sounds in everyday objects which are not usually appreciated for their musicality. For this approach, he's considered a true experimentalist as he always delivers a unique experience which blurs genre categorisation. You can find his works on labels like Archipel, Sleep Is Commercial, Pluie/Noir, Saraw, Miden, Goldmin, Destroy All Monsters, Minim.all, Resopal and his own playground CLIKNO, to name a few.

Titled "Ghosts of Azerbaijan", the record delves into a vibrant combination of minimal, breakbeat and tech house where deep rhythms and textures elegantly merge with exotic instruments, gliding from enveloping atmospheres to dancefloor-ready sounds.

With more than 25 years behind the decks and a life shaped by experiences across five countries, including a pivotal eight-year chapter in London, Harsh Puri aka Reformed Society is now based in Barcelona. Known for his eclectic style and expansive musical palette, he moves effortlessly between house, techno and leftfield sounds, delivering sets that are both dynamic and meticulously curated. During his time in the UK, he founded and led the Play and Downplay party series while holding a residency at Jaded/Corsica Studios. For him, studio time is equally important, having released memorable titles via labels like Basic Moves, Bons Records, Lirica Archives, Dolly, Superb Recordings, Made Of Concrete, What Ever Not, Dred Records, Mosaic, O.C.D. and Funnuvojere Records.
