Flore is totally killing it in the global bass scene. With some great remixes under her belt and a soundcloud page loaded with bangers it’s no surprise that Flore means serious business when it comes to the tunes. This time around, it’s her track with Shunda K that gets the remix treatment from french dubstep producer Uzul who is also known for being a member of the famous Kali Live Dub band. Uzul took the original dancehall tune and turned it into a grimey, naughty dub accompanied by some nasty-but-never-too-aggressive basslines, well-suited for the dancefloor.

TX based Bro Safari has been causing some mayhem lately and now teams up with drum & bass pioneer UFO! to bring us a solid 4 track EP titled Future Primitive. Filled with big slaps and a lot of bass, Future Primitive EP has definitely earned its spot in my music library. In a genre where there’s a relatively large amount of similar sounding tunes, Bro Safari & UFO! takes on a completely different approach and lives up to their properly titled EP. We are one of the handful of selected blogs to stream the complete Electro Track Therapy album by none other than post-dancehall badman himself aka MC Zulu. The Panama born/Chicago based MC is widely known as being one of the most in-demand vocalists in the scene. Electro Track Therapy is oficially out today and is a compilation of all of MC Zulu’s latest collaborations with some big names in the global bass community such as Poirier, The Bumps, Mega Bo, Kush Arora, Top Billin and more. Post-Dancehall (also known as future reggae, future dancehall or dub & bass) is primarily based on big synths & drum looping and with Electro Track Therapy, MC Zulu takes it to the next level. This is most definitely one of the biggest global bass releases of this year. Some tracks I’m into right now is “Call Red Alert” produced by Poirier, this tune has a highly recognizable island carnival style chorus to it which makes you want to get up and move your waist. Another big one is “Talk Dutty” produced by DJ LionDub, which is a sensual tune with a massive groove and some deep bass, giving it a club feel which is the perfect recipe for some sweet grindin’. Next up in my list of favs is the Top Billin produced “Check The Frequency”, this one is goes as hard as you could possibly want it to go and will totally explode the dancefloor, fiyah. Released today on Think 2Wice Records is the much anticipated Star Time EP by DJ Melo. The EP features 6 original tracks as well as remixes by Sazon Booya, Boyfriend and Fellow, all of which have done a great work on making this release a must-have. Current favorites of mine off this EP are “Lunar Eclipse” and “The Comeback” which are two big bangers and also “Corrosion”, a beautifully crafted track that has been on repeat for the past 20 minutes or so. After dropping “Alarma” with ETC!ETC! a few weeks ago, Kid Cedek is back with this huge moombahton banger together with Mr. Nicavitch and Stranger Day.
