Avant-Garde Pierre Cardin Raincape!

Pierre Cardin "Satellite" Cape was sold at the "Resurrection: Avant-Garde Fashion," auction which took place at Christie's South Kensington, London, sale room on Oct. 30 2008.

This bright, shiny bubble of a cape--made out of red patent vinyl--does little for the female form. Instead, it captures Cardin's space-age style, a signature look of the 1960s.

Estimated to go for: $6,400 - $9,600 (4,000 - 6,000 British pounds) Price Realized: $8,300 (5,000 British pounds).

Shiny Black Rubber Rain Jacket!

Today I received the KALININGRAD rubber rain jacket from Rainwear-shop.com, I ordered last week for 99.00 euro + shipping.

The black rubber rain jacket has a pointy hood and two side pockets with flaps and is closed with press stud buttons. The jacket is made from super shiny natural rubber (cotton backed) and has a strong smell of car tires. The fabric is stitched together and glued with a black cotton linings on a few edges.

The rubber jacket only comes in size large, but it feels more like a extra large. There is plenty of room to wear a thick sweater underneath if the weather is cold.

I would have preferred that it was made from a thicker, less smelly, gauge of rubber and that the hood was rounded and had a pull string. But overall it's a really nice rain jacket to this price and shiny rubber fabric of this quality is really hard to come by.

Regnfrakker.dk Relaunched!

Last month Ning.com choose to discontinue all adult networks, including our very popular rainwear community Regnfrakker.dk.

We quickly started planing a new site so we could continue to offer a community platform to our users. The users responded very positive to this news and donated enough money to cover the software needed to run the new community. Thanks to the donations a new Regnfrakker.dk site was relaunched a few days after the new year!

Recently Latex Kitty received a charming vintage Børmax rain cape from a admirer of our rainwear weblog. She really loved the cape and took the pattern of it to make a very elegant Latex cape. Here you can see the outcome of it.

The unique 0,40 black latex rain cape is made from of six pieces. It has a hood which falls nicely, black stud buttons and slits for the arms.

Great Messy Muddy Fun!

The fall is finally here! The best season to go out and experience nature. So put on your best rubber boots and rain gear and get going!

Recently, when walking in the forest, we came across a little mud hole. We never done any mud play, but we looked at each others once, took each others hands and jumped straight in. The feeling was really nice and soft and we had great fun, splosing around!

Who knows, we might do some serious full body mud play in the future.
