All that was left on the property was the foundation that the 45 foot double wide home had stood on. His home was too large to easily move so he was quite puzzled as to how someone could have stolen his home.

He went to the closest provincial police department in Southgate Township to make a complaint about the theft of his home.

As it turns out once the police were aware of the homes theft it didn’t take too long to find the missing $30,000 house. It was on a property not too far from its former location – how it got there is still unknown. Ownership documents found at the scene were found to be fraudulent.

Jeffrey LaForest of Southgate Township is charged with theft over $5,000, mischief, and uttering a forged document.

You have to admit this trucker has amazing parking and or maneuvering skills. I can’t imagine how the driver managed to back the truck up into that tight loading dock or how he managed to get the truck out of that space without hitting the retaining wall. I know it’s possible – I just can’t imagine how he did it!

You have to have skills to drive and park like that.

Dogs do strange things … but I have absolutely no idea how this one managed to get a bra strap looked around it’s neck … and end up stuck to a door! LOL

I’ve seen my dog do some pretty weird stuff .. but she’s never got her self caught in something – not yet anyway. Although I’m pretty sure the strange somersaults and jumping turns she does will get her into trouble someday.

Some dogs just like to collect things … I think this one is collecting kindling for the campfire!

We have a Labrador Retriever, just like the dog above, and she can hold a LOT of things in her mouth too.

Whenever we take her to the beach to play with other dogs she literally steals all the other dogs toys and holds them in her mouth as she teases them and gets them to chase after here. I’ve seen her with four or five toys in her mouth at once.

Oh man, I wish I thought of getting my dog, Midnight, to do this when she was a young puppy! It would have saved a lot of cleanups! LOL

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get a dog to swear on a bible, dog bible that is, to never pee on the rug again? Yep, I can see all you dog owners out there nodding your heads. LOL

It was so nice that we actually took our dog to the beach so she could swim and play around in the waters of Lake Ontario.

After our trip to the beach we all felt hungry. I’d noticed that Stratengers Bar and Restaurant on Queen Street had it’s patio open when we drove by it earlier so I suggested that we go there to get something to eat. That way our dog could sit on the patio with us too.

We parked our car on a street just off off Queen St. East called Bertmount Ave, and it was on this street that we saw one of the most strangely decorated houses that any of us had ever seen!

It’s a good thing my wife had her camera with her because once I saw this house I knew I’d want to share it with you!

Walking towards the house we just thought it had a lot of Christmas decorations up, a little late, but ok … but as we got closer we noticed it was so much more than just Christmas decorations …

There’s Easter, Halloween and just about any holiday that people decorate their houses for displayed in decorations on the front of the house. Not only that, but there’s a multitude of stuffed animals, action hero dolls, toys, plaques, signs etc …

If someone wants to decorate there house that’s fine by me … but I’m glad I don’t live next door to, or even on the same street as this house as I imagine that if we wanted to sell our house we’d have some trouble getting our asking price with this house in the neighborhood! LOL

BTW when we finally got to Stratengers after a big picture taking session we had a nice meal and while talking to our waitress and then the owner of the restaurant we found out that Nash the Slash, the musician, goes to this restaurant almost every day. I expressed an interest in meeting him and just before we were about to leave the Restaurant owner came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder and with him was Nash the Slash – no bandages or makeup. He was really nice … check out the post I wrote about meeting Nash the Slash on my guitar blog.

All in all it was a very interesting day. I love it when an unplanned day turns up interesting and unexpected things.

Oh oh … I think this dog did a little too much partying last night. Looks like he’s still in party mode if you ask me! My dog is hyper and she’s fun … but not like this!

I’m not sure about that tongue though … it’s either photo shopped or the dog is a mutant! I’ve never seen a dog with a tongue that long … it must be at least a foot!

Just look at what this cat and dog did to that house! Now that’s a terrible twosome!

It looks like they found the house’s stock of toilet paper and had a tear party! LOL

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t imagine coming home to a mess like that!

I have a dog and if she did something like that I’m pretty sure she’d be spending some downtime in her crate for a while.

Ok now I’ve seen everything. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that someone could take a bike ride on the water! Pretty ingenious when you think about it though, isn’t it?

Just strap some pontoons onto your bike and you’re ready for a nice circuit of the lake. LOL

Now that we’re deep into winter I know many of you are experiencing severe winter weather, ice storms and snow storms … we’re expecting our own snow storm here tomorrow morning. Not Fun …

However, as the picture above goes to show … it almost always could be worse!

Unless you just experienced a severe ice storm, most of us can only imagine, how bad it would be to go outside to see their car covered in ice … just how on earth would you get all that ice off without chipping the paint?

Heck, you’d have enough trouble getting into the car to start it!

BTW Happy New Year! Hopefully your start to the year is much better than the owner of this car’s is!
