It’s amazing how dapper a young man can look when he puts on a collared shirt and combs his hair to the side.  I remember how much it pleased my parents when my my brothers and I would get dressed up for a special occasion, and I can imagine that this boy’s parents love the way he looks here.

Growing up, my younger brother was mischievous and charming all in the same breath.  He would get a glimmer in his eye thinking up a grand scheme for the two of us.  Although the little boy in face #26 is not my brother, there is something about this image that resonates with my memories of him.

How great are belly laughs?  Hearing someone else break into a fit of giggles makes me smile immediately. I love how this little girl looks so tickled in this image.

I love madras!  This little girl in face #24 is wearing the most adorable madras sun dress.  I remember as a child how nice it was playing in a cool cotton dress on warm summer day.

Getting engaged is so exciting!  I remember the giddy feelings I had for months after my husband proposed to me.  I would look down at my beautiful ring countless times a day and dream of the life we would build together.  I hope that the couple in this portrait enjoys a lifetime of happiness together.  I’m so glad that my dear friend, featured here, found her soul-mate in such a wonderful guy.

I love this little girl’s curls!  Her curly hair is perfectly paired with her spunky personality – she really is like a modern Shirley Temple; energetic and incredibly charming.  This portrait displays a sweet moment where she poses with her her head resting against her knee.  I love when toddlers show their “serious” side.

These twins are irresistible!  This portrait depicts a three month old brother and sister snuggled up together.  I love the way the little boy opens his mouth in the image to imitate the smiling face of his parents.

The way the sun illuminates Face #18 is so beautiful.  The boy in this image is fishing with his dad and brother on a hot summer afternoon. His expression is so intent and focused  - I love it.

Don’t you love a child’s sense of humor? The adorable boy in Face #17 sneaks up some “devil horns” right before his mom snaps his picture.  You can tell how satisfied he is with this goofy gesture!

This is the quintessential image of my husband and daughter playing.  Every evening, as soon as my husband Damian’s car pulls into the driveway, our daughter Madison sprints across the house so that she can meet him at the back door.  Once dad is in the house, the two of them begin chasing each other around, until one is caught and is smothered with a flurry of kisses and hugs.  I can’t tell you how much this image warms my heart!
