Bandai DX Chogokin Macross Frontier VF-25F Alto Custom (Movie Ver.).

Bandai is really sucking my wallet dry~! I just bought the DX Alto Custom not long ago, and now they releasing this movie version. Not sure I really want to get this or not, have not watch the movie yet (I think the movie is not out yet). Estimated released date will be March 2010, price at 17850Yen. Click here for more photos

Yay~! A new Tsukasa Bullet figure. You all may already know that I'm a big fan of Tsukasa Bullet figures. This I will not miss definitely. Coming in June 2010 at 11,340Yen. Its quite a high price, but worth it~!!! Check out the photos here.

This is one of my all-time favourite figure from MegaHouse. It's based on illustration by Tsukasa Bullet.

This is a wonderful figure which shouldn't miss by any Tsukasa Bullet's fan. She looks very close to the illustration by Tsukasa Bullet (see bottom of this post)

I love her face so much. The eyes looks great and the rest of the face is well painted.

Excellent Model - Tsukasa Bullet "Mariko Mizuki"

It's been a very busy cross-over months of 2009 to 2010 for me. Hence the blog has not been updated for so long. Now here it is... my first post of 2010.

This is a figure based on a character illustrated by my favorite artist Tsukasa Bullet.

This figure is approximately 8 inches tall.Overall the quality is very high. I really appreciate the matte finishing on her flesh skin colors, I can't stand those figures with glossy skin, its makes the figure looks plastiky and kind of cheap. The chest armour is painted with glossy metalic finishing, which really add some good points to this figure.

The pose, I think this figure's pose is abit boring and lack some actions.

The most dissapointments I have with this figure is the face expression and the hairstyle. She looks really lost, and that hairstyle is kind of dull to my taste.

There is plenty of details in this figure, even down to the display base.

What a nice butt~!!! Hehe~!!! As you can see from her skin tones... the paint jobs is really top notch~!

Here we have Misato Katsuragi in a glossy black leather full body suit ^^

Overall, I feel the pose could be better, but I like how the body shape was sculpted. It shows the feminine sexy looks very well.

The right hand dissapointed me, where the position of the right palm at the waist really spoiled the nice curve body line.

The paints job is just nice. The matte skin tone constrast well with the super glossy black suit : )

These are soft boobs, just like the Ayanami Rei. Hehe~! :P

I feel the zip could be nicer. It's a bit rough with not enough details to my taste.

My favorite shot~!!! Sexy huh~! ^^

How can a sexy figure without a butt shot~! :P

This is a mini bust of anime character Lavie Head (ラヴィ・ヘッド) from the anime series Last Exile (ラストエグザイル).

This mini bust is approximately three inches height. Made of PVC. I can't recall the name of the manufacturer and how much I bought it.

I like how the hairs was sculpted. Feel like a chilling wind blowing her hair gently. And nice paints job too ;)

Banpresto DX Vinyl Figure - Dragon Ball Master Roshi (亀仙人)

A follow-up of the previous post, here we have Master Roshi from the same set with Son Gokou : )

Same with Son Gokou, the quality is at same high standard. I like the glossy finishing of the sunglasses and matte finishing of the entire figure. Nicely painted.

Don't mess with this old man. He is an ancient and wise martial arts master and guru of Son Gokou. Heheh! :P

Banpresto DX Vinyl Figure - Dragon Ball Son Gokou (孫悟空)

This is a 9 inches tall vinyl figure made by Banpresto Japan.

Overall this is a nicely sculpted figure. The finishing is at high quality. The looks is very true to the comics character.

I like this slightly slanted standing pose. Classic standing hero pose! ^^

The face expression is great too.

"亀"means turtle. The Turtle Clan logo.

McFarlane Toys - Red Riding Hood

McFarlane Toys Monsters Series 4:Twisted Fairy Tales: Red Riding Hood.

This figure is quite a different take on the classic fairy tale. The Red Riding Hood wearing a sexy S&M styled outfits holding the sliced wolf with her left hand while her right hand holding a hidden knife.

There is some articularions offered, but they are useless. The pose is pretty much fixed this way. It is more a fixed pose display statue.

Overall the sculpts is superb with great details. But the painting quality a bit dissapointed, especially on the edges of two different colors.

I like the colors scheme very much. Her white fair skins contrasts with the dark red colors outfit nicely.

The opened up wolf is grusome. The content falling our from the wolf's stomach is the grandma... "Oh My...." @_@

Here's two upcoming toys in my wish list.
Ikki Tousen Ryomou Shimei Shunya Yamashita ver. and Bandai DX-Chogokin Macross Frontier VF-27R Lucifer Valkyrie (Brera Sterne Custom).

Yes! Another Shunya Yamashita figures again. Ryomou Shimei in lolita costume. I like the overall sculpt details of this figure, but I find the pose abit weird. Still thinking wherether should I order one or not. Hmmmmm....

Bandai DX-Chogokin Macross Frontier VF-27R Lucifer Valkyrie (Brera Sterne Custom).

This one is in my must-get list. I think this is the coolest Valkyrie in Macross Frontier. So far I only got one which is the Ozuma Custom Full Armoured Valkyrie. Still considering on getting the VF-25F Super Messiah Alto Type. I think three of them together will make an awesome display ^^

Rei has been released in many different costumes, here we have Rei in a rider costume with a sexy bend down pose.

I like the retro designs goggle and helmet. They matched the fashion well ^^

Sexy heh! The bust is made of different materials. Soft materials. Hehe! :P

Nice butt! I think this figure was nicely sculpted with good proportions.

Great details on the helmet's decal.

Bandai S.H.Figuarts Masked Rider V3 & Shocker Rider Action Figures.
They are approximately 15cm tall, fully articulated, partially made of metal.

Masked Rider V3, my favorite Masked Rider among the classics.

Shocker Rider. Nice touch with the yellow bandana. Their nicely sculpted fists makes them looks powerful. ^^

Let's have an action shot shall we : ) They are really nice to play with, the joints are tight and sturdy, will not easily loosen. The weight of the figures makes them quite easy to balance when posing them.

Persephone Bust from movie The Matrix Reloaded. Released by Gentle Giant as limited edition of 1,500 pieces only.

Many says that the coolest outfits in Matrix Trilogy is the black suit worn by Neo and Trinity. I couldn’t agree more, but my personal favorite is this red shiny outfit of Persephone (Monica Belluci). Gentle Giant had done a great job recreating Persephone in this 1/6 scale polystone bust.

If not mistaken, this is the only one Monica Belluci bust ever made, a great piece to collect if you are one of Monica’s or Matrix fans.

Spider-man 3 Movie Busts

Spider-man 3 Movie Polystone Busts from Sideshow Collectibles.
These are stunning busts to collects for Spider-man fans. They are all beautifully sculpted, kudos to the sculptor for excellent works on the details, the suit texture, the web patterns, the body muscles and even down to the textures on Venom's tounge.

First, we have here Spider-man in the red suit we usually see. The pose is great, he is having the web firing action, looks very dynamic.

Great details from the sculptor. His muscles, they looks so realistic.

This is the black-suit Spider-man, He is in struggling state fighting with his inner-self as the “darkness” of the alien symbiote trying to take over him. Personally I like this version more as we are so used to seeing him in a red suit, this black suit version is kinda fresh and cool.

Venom! The ultimate villain, my favorite one among the 3 busts.

The sculpts is excellent, the facial expression is so bizarre!!! Check out the textures and the amazing paint jobs which bring out all the details.

All three of them come with this standard base.

This is a nice set of busts to have, they deserved a display shelf with showroom lighting. Hope you all enjoy the photos : )

Dawn is one of the sexiest comic character created by Joseph Michael Linsner. She first appeared on the cover of Cry for Dawn #1 (December 1989).

This is a Dawn action figure produced by McFarlane Toys many years ago. I'm still keeping her in great conditions : )

Although McFarlane Toys called this an action figure, but it's more like a mini fixed pose statue. As you can see, there isn't many joints for articulation. The most you can do is to swing her hands up or down slightly. But I can live with it, the beautiful sculpt and highly detailed base and accessories already worth the price I paid for her.

They are my favorite anime figures. I like the clean and simple anime-styled design : )
