         <title>The Greatest Comebacks</title>
<description>Actors come and actors go, and some do that within their own career. Of late the most notable example has been Mickey Rourke, he's come back with a vengeance, and it began before The Wrestler, but that's the film that's seen as cementing his return. However he's not the only one that it's happened to, there are a number of actors and actresses whose careers have taken a nose dive, or simply just halted, and then have come back with some superb films, taking their careers back to the fore, but can you think of them?...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>Beattie tries new Halo film</title>
<description>Stuart Beattie has been writing a speculative script to get a new Halo film off the ground, he's even sent it to Microsoft and seems desperate to have it made, yet he says he's not ready to direct. He's worked out a speculative script based on the Halo novel Fall of Reach from Eric Nyland (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com), the prequel to the story we see in the first Halo game, but will it really work?...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <description>Peter Jackson has already been talking about the rumours of who is going to be cast in The Hobbit films and he's been quick to point out that they're not going to be announcing any casting as they haven't even started thinking about it. Well there you go, I said it was a crazy rumour and it turned out to be just that, more from those crazy newspapers, they're just full of them!...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>I Love You Phillip Morris French trailer online</title>
<description>There's a French trailer online, no subtitles so I think we just lost half of Hollywood, but there is plenty of new footage for you to get your hands on, and some serious Jim Carrey loving action, as well as some lingering moments with Ewan McGregor. The film is based on a novel by Steve McVicker (Amazon.com / Amazon.co.uk) which is also based on actual events, believe it or not, and that's a huge hook for the film....Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>Star Trek Blu-ray has missing plot</title>
<description>Feel like anything was missing from Star Trek (Filmstalker review)? I certainly did, and I've talked about it before, there felt like there was a lot of plot and character development missing, not the bits forced into the middle of the action sequences because that's really the only place the fitted. Now though we're going to get to have a glimpse of the Klingon story line that was abandoned during the film, a story line that was designed to make the Romulan bad guy much, much more evil and explain a bit better his long wait for Spock and his...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>Resident Evil: Afterlife confirms locations</title>
<description>The news that Resident Evil: Afterlife is officially on isn't all the news to be had about this film, after all Milla Jovovich herself said that the film was happening in the previous story, live on video. <title>Hobbit casting rumours</title>
<description>Why not? I might as well tell you about the casting rumours for The Hobbit 1 and 2. They are huge rumours and there's no substance to them what so ever other than someone in a big name site decided to write down a few names and throw them out on the internet, and next time there's a furore about the internet and rumours, the blogs will get blamed and not these big sites. Just remember this next time. Anyway, the rumours for The Hobbit casting have begun, mainly because the word is that Guillermo del Toro is about to...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>World War Z rewrite?</title>
<description>For those of you in the know, J. Michael Straczynski was adapting Max Brooks rather good World War Z novel into a film. Now he's a really well proven writer, let's not bother talking about the amazing work he's done on Babylon 5, but there's also Clint Eastwood's Changeling and a host of big films on the way. So why is he being replaced on World War Z? According to reports he's been replaced and his script it being rewritten by Matthew Michael Carnahan, so what does that mean? Well although it's not necessarily a bad thing as Carnahan is...Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>Straw Dogs female lead and story update</title>
<description>I know I've written about Straw Dogs already today for the announcement of Alexander Skarsgård as the bad guy of the remake, but there's another update this afternoon, and that's for the female lead of the film. Not only do we find out the actress set to take Susan George's place in the remake of the controversial film, but we find out a little more about the story and how the characters connect, and it does sound like it's going to be a straight remake....Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>John Carter of Mars gains Antichrist</title>
<description>Andrew Stanton has moved on from lions and wardrobes to an altogether different story, the adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter of Mars, and while we've been hearing some casting rumours about some bigger names, this could be the biggest announcement for the project yet, and the most promising. The film has just gained Willem Dafoe, just seen in Antichrist (Filmstalker review) and that certainly suggests that the film is going to be pitched high, something we already expected considering the director, the scope, and the budget....Visit Filmstalker for the full story. <title>Straw Dogs gains lead protagonist</title>
<description>I still find it hard to believe that they're remaking Straw Dogs, but then part of me shouldn't find that surprising at all since Hollywood is busy eating itself over what it can remake next. So Straw Dogs is on the remake path for sure. We had heard that Sam Peckinpah's thriller starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George and that infamous scene was getting a remake, and that the lead had been chosen, James Marsden, well now the lead bad guy has been cast....Visit Filmstalker for the full story.
