कभी भी हम malls में शॉपिंग करने जाते हैं, तब वहां पर दाम ₹99, ₹199, आदि लिखे होते हैं। जो कि Perfect Price(₹200, ₹350, आदि) से ₹1 कम होती है।

तो कई बार हमारा Total Price जाता है जिसके बदले हम शॉपकीपर को दो सो ₹300 दे देते हैं जिससे दुकानदार को ₹1 का फायदा हो जाता है।

Today we shall discuss about the technique of mosquitos, that they use to suck your blood without your noticing. We shall learn the reason behind the itching of part, that is affected by mosquitoes.

Sometimes you can feel a mosquito land on your arm or ankle and occasionally you feel a sharp pain, but most often you only realize later what’s happened because of the itch. How does the mosquito get away with that?

Before we start, we have to first know the blood sucker. First we have to determine the sucker, then we shall ready to know their techniques.

The other two are extremely thin tubes, which inject saliva into the blood (to minimize clotting) and check for the presence of chemicals that signal a blood vessel nearby.

This article is about Zebra, as you read in the title or imagined with the help of Thumbnail.

We will start the article with a small introduction to Zebra.

Who are Zebras?

Zebras are one type of mammals. They are inhabitant to African Savanna.

They are most popular due to their Black-and-White stripes.

What is Fainting?

If you ask my the basic defination of Fainting, then I will define Fainting as Lowered blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat or low blood sugar, which result in a momentary loss of consciousness called as fainting—or in medical terms, syncope (rhymes with “canopy”).

If you ever noticed anyone Fainting, then you have noticed the different acions done by one's before Fainting.

The Basic actions, after that a person Faint:

Some people fainting after coughing

Some after urinating

Some after stretching.

Some can faint simply by getting out of a chair too quicky.

These are the most common actions before One's faint.

So, let's take a look at his suggestion.

What Rolf Diehl suggested?

He suggested that fainting, with its accompanying drop in both blood pressure and heart rate, and was a protective response exhibited by wounded animals.

He reasoned that if an animal starts bleeding (and we are animals, remember!), its initial response is to constrict blood vessels and jack up blood pressure and heart rate,

so as to maintain circulation in the face of blood loss.

But if the bleeding doesn’t stop and the animal’s blood loss reaches a critical value—roughly a third of its total blood volume—the reverse kicks in: blood vessels loosen, the heart rate drops and the animal’s circulatory system slows until it eventually loses consciousness.

But while passing out may leave an animal vulnerable, Diehl argued that the drop in both blood pressure and heart rate buys precious time, allowing blood to clot and thereby reducing total blood loss.

If the animal maintained a normal blood pressure in this critical situation, he argued, it would actually hasten death, not prevent it.

What’s fascinating is that this straightforward physiological mechanism in humans happens not only in response to the loss of one’s own blood but also to someone else losing blood.

Sunlight, which is white, scatter while traveling in Earth atmosphere; due to the different density of different atmosphere layers.

Light have seven colour band, this bend is called of seven colours is called as Spectrum.

Seven Colours are:

Violent- Shortest wavelength

Indigo

Blue

Green

Yellow

Orange

Red- Longest wavelengths

This seven colours band is also called as VIBGYOR.

When sunlight collides with molecules of air, it’s scattered in all directions.

The shorter wavelengths of sunlight are more susceptible to scattering than longer ones—so light at the violent and blue end of the spectrum scatters more than red, yellow or green.

If I say you to close your eyes and think about the Autumn. Then what will be your imagination's first picture.

My imagination's picture will be ' a naked tree in the garden and the leaves fallen on the ground. And a sweeper is sweeping the leaves and I am watching him sweeping.

Now, let's moves towards our topic, that's reason of falling of leaves. Let's start and take you to the your aim of reading this post.

First of all, we have to know about the chemicals which are responsible for colour changes in leaves.

What Changes colour of Leaves?

Plants consists of many chemicals. But now we have to only concentrate on the colour chemicals.

There are three major chemicals which effects plant's leaves colour. Which are:

Chlorophyll

Carotenoids (carotene and xanthophyll are it's two major chemicals).

Anthocyanins

Let's know about their functions in short description.

First is Chlorophyll, which is responsible for green colour in leaves. It's major function is to absorb sunlight and make it useful in food processing process of plant, Photosynthesis.

Second one are Carotenoids, which consists of two major chemicals. They are Carotene and xanthophyll. Carotene is responsible for orange (carrots), while xanthophyll is for yellow (squash).

Third one is Anthocyanins, which created many tourists attraction places in eastern Northern America. Yes, it's maple leaf, which have a attractive reddish colour.

Now, let's learn about it's reason.

Why colour Change in Leaves?

During the growing season, when there are the most hours of daylight, chlorophyll is at peak performance, converting the energy of sunlight into sugar molecules that can release the energy later or be used to build other molecules needed by the tree.

But when sunlight diminishes in winters (it shrinks steadily from June 21 through to December 21), so the behaviour of plants get changed.

The energy that a leaf absorbs from the sun is less than the energy it uses to perform the chemical work required to maintain its machinery. To prevent wasting resources, the tree begins to shut down its leaves.

As the leaves shut down, chlorophyll molecules are shipped back into the tree. (Nitrogen is a limited resource, too, so the tree also stores it for use the next spring.)

As the chlorophyll is withdrawn, other compounds in the leaf are left behind. Most of those compounds are carotenoids, and two of the most important are carotene and xanthophyll.

Due to the chlorophyll depletion, the carotene and xanthophyll are exposed, that's why the color of the leaf changes.

This chlorophyll's draw back and xanthophyll and corotenes' explosion causes colour in leaves.

I have told you about two types of colour changing chemicals. But there is on more chemical which gives leaf an amazing colour like maple leaf, red.

That's chemical is known as Anthocyanins. Let's learn about it in deep.

Why Maple Leaf is Red?

It is Red due to the presence of Anthocyanins chemicals.

Anthocyanins aren’t present in leaves. But when the leaves’ adjustment to winter begins, the tree manufactures them.

That is the mystery of the anthocyanins, and it has generated some interesting ideas in scientists minds.

Let's read about that ideas.

One is that the anthocyanin pigments protect against sunlight. The change in color is happening at a time of year when sunlight is in decline.

It is very important for tree because one unusually bright day in fall could cause significant damage to a tree, but thanks to the anthocyanins in its leaves, the tree can absorb high levels of sunlight.

Some people have proposed the idea that leaves turn red to protect themselves against aphids that might lay eggs on them. It confirmed that trees with red leaves were more successful at warning aphids to stay away.

Red as Warning theory had been proved wrong the final outcome is that:

It turns out that aphids(a small bug) have no red receptors in their eyes. But maybe they are still able to discriminate between colors.

And maybe it doesn’t matter: as it turns out, it might not be the red color itself that’s warning insects away. Rather, the red covers up the yellow shades of the leaf (those exposed by the removal of the green chlorophyll).

Those yellows are very attractive to a broad range of insects, including aphids. So the red hue isn’t a stop sign after all. But because amber means “Go” to an aphid, disguising it with red has the same effect.

Whenever you enjoy the night sky, then you notice the stars, galxies, etc..

You notice the all the objects as stars. But actually they all are not stars, some of them are different objects then you think. I will tell about them in the end.

To understand all that, we have to know the secret behind the twinkling of objects of night sky.

To understand that secret, first we have need to understand the Refraction of light.

What is Refraction of light ?

When ray of light passes from one medium to another, it deviates from its original path. This phenomenon is called Refraction of light.

Mediums are:

Solid

Liquid

Gas or Air

The path changes due to the different speed in different medium. The speed of light is Highest in Solid and Lowest in Gas.

Let's take a look at the different speed of light in different medium.

Speed in:

Solids (glass)- 200000 Km/sec

Liquids (water)- 225000 Km/sec

Gases (air)- 300000 Km/sec

To understanding the extend of bending, we have to first understand the refractive index.

What is Refractive Index ?

Refractive Index s the ratio of the Speed of light in the first medium to that in the second medium.

It is represented by the Greek letter mu.

Now, we are able to understand the secret of twinkling of stars.

Why Stars Twinkle ?

Earth’s atmosphere is in constant motion and the density of its numerous layers can vary rapidly. So the refraction (or bending) that a star’s light experiences as it propagates through the atmosphere is also constantly changing.

It means that the apparent position and brightness of a star changes slightly from moment to moment.

This makes the star appear to wobble or ‘twinkle’.

However, a star is so far away that it is just a point of light, whereas a planet, being so much closer, is a tiny disc of light.

Although your eyes can’t resolve the disc unaided or naked, the extent of the planet on the sky is generally much larger than the size of the atmospheric variations which cause twinkling.

Why I can't see planets Twinkling ?

So, although planets do actually twinkle to some extent, it is much less noticeable than it is for stars.

Yes, that stars likes objects are Planets. They are less noticeable in the night sky.
